Most helpful teacher I have ever had. Always goes the extra mile for students

Hank is great, very informal, and hilarious. He used to be a Marine. Sometimes he wears pants with holes in the butt. He is an excellent math teacher, and really has a way of making you understand. if he works it in class it will be on the test.

Hank is a generous guy! He is very helpful, and I have never even had him for a class. My sister did, and she like him, even though she failed it. She even admitted to ME that she could have passed the remedial course, if she had just applied herself.

Hank is the best dspm teacher at Tech. If you have to take a dspm class take Hank. He really cares about his students. Will work with you one on one if needed. I can't begin to tell how great a teacher Hank is.

Hank Duvier far surpasses any teaher in the math department--he knows his stuff and truly wants you to understand the math he presents.If you don't understand something he never,ever lets you feel incapable of getting it.He is respectful, funny, and professional,yet personable. This is THE single coolest teacher you will ever meet. He is always helpful and funny if you have to take a dspm class, i would take him.

Hank is an overall good guy , but he has problems with anger management at times seems unprofessonal. I would take him becouse he is the best teacher in the department. Just be prpared to put alot of time in his class if you want to pass. Good Luck.

Mr. Duvier is one of the best instructors at TTU. He'll bend over backwards to help his students. He stresses over & over again what is needed to pass in his class. Go to class & do your homework--you'll do fine in his class.

Hank is one of the most helpful people one could meet. He goes out of his way to work with you to help you understand the math. He is funny and reminds me of Will Ferrell in looks and personality...He is a great teacher and I loved being in his class.

I went to class, did my homework and tried and got an A. Always in his office for help and go to his help sessions for extra points on test.

The 1st day I was in his class, I thought "man, he's going to be like all the rest & could care less whether you pass or fail" Indeed, I was impressed---especially when he made it a point to remember everyone's name. This guy really wants you to learn & do good. Mr. Duvier is truly the best math teacher I've ever had. :)

I LOVED this class! He is the best math teacher at this university, and it's a shame that he only teaches this class and not more. I have always been horrible at math, but he has a way of explaining things that anyone can understand and I recieved an A. Plus, he is hillarious and keeps the class very interesting.

If you fail his class it is your fault. He gives his students every opportunity to succeed. He has extra study sessions that are very helpful. He wants you to get your monies worth but he expects you to do your part. He makes math fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend him.

First day of class, I was scared because he came off as being really mean, but he is not. He is really sweet and actually cares about the grade you make in his class. He is always willing to help and answer questions. Just listen in class and do your work and you will do fine.

I LOVED MR. HANK. I have taken his 0850 class and now finished his 1130 class. He makes the 1130 just slightly tougher but he is great teacher. He will always help you. Extra Credit and HELP SESSIONS. You will learn. And he super funny. GO to class. I have made A's in both classes and Im am NOT a math person whatsoever. Just work hard.

Mr. Hank's the best. Hated algebra, but he made it tolerable, sometimes actually interesting. He's about as helpful as anyone could ever be: gives study guides, gives help sessions, pushes back HW deadlines when necessary. Got a 64 on the 1st test, he let us retake it, got 100. He's big on attendance so show up. Helps you work a lot of HW problems.

I love Mr. Hank! He is so awesome! He gives you 5 bonus points at the end of your grade. And he is very helpful. If you failed a test, he gives you 2 weeks to review it and make it up. If you tell him that you missed an assignment, he gives you another week to re-do for full credit! He's awesome and really likes engineering majors to succeed :D

I absolutely hate math, Mr. Hank made learning statistics extremely easy. He'll explain something more than once and if you're the only person to still not get it he will go through another problem again for you. He knows you only need a single semester of math to be done with it and he gladly goes out of his way for it to be easy.

I've always despised math because I've never been good at it, but Mr. Hank made a difficult class tolerable and even fun. He was the first math teacher I had who actually took the time to notice a pattern in what areas I struggled in. He also seems particularly knowledgeable in how to teach math to students with math-related learning disabilities

Mr. Hank is awesome!! He helps you anytime you need it. He will give you like 3 days to be absent but he hates tardies so don't be late. He gives extra credit and barely assigns homework ( maybe twice all semester). Don't buy the book!! its not needed at all. would take again!!!!

Very caring man, but sort of absentminded some days. If you are looking for an easy A, Mr. Hank is absolutely the professor to take for 1130. However if you care about algebra or may take higher-level math courses in the future (like 1830 or 1720/30), I would honestly suggest someone a little more challenging.

Mr. Hank is great. Took him for math1130 and made an "A" in Math 1830. Uses Hawkes for homework and tests but he is always available for help - any time - even on the weekends in the Library. Take him if possible

Mr. Hank is so kind and supportive of his students. I did very poorly in math in highschool but I ended up with an A in MATH 1130. He truly cares about the students in his class and wants the best for them. Everything in on Hawkes; go to class as much as possible to get a good attendance grade. If you need to take MATH 1130, try to get Mr. Hank!

Mr. Hank is awesome. The only downfall is that he has a horrible attendance policy. Gives you 3 free and does not take excuses after the 3 free ones. Made an "A" - he is great and very caring - except for attendance. You have to attend class 5 days per week - but he gives you some Friday's off after midterm.

I took Mr. Hank for math 1130 and he is the best. Takes attendance though so you have to go to class. He is also in the lab at night for help too. Sometimes the class runs over because he loses track of time. Most caring professor at tttu !!!

Mr. Hank was one of the best professors I have had this far. He genuinely cares for his students in and outside of class. He made statistics easy and very comprehensive. He is also very easy going and rewards good and respectful class behavior. No textbook, but definitely get the calculator. The store and recall buttons are very important.

This was my third time taking Algebra and I was really nervous in taking this course but Mr. Hank is always there to help you out even on the weekends. As long as you attend class and go to the Math Lab, you will not have any problems passing this class.

He is the absolute best!! This is college algebra, so its online for the most part. He gives a quiz every single day (this is why you shouldn't skip), but they are so EASY and you can do them with your friends. If you can take his class, DO IT!

Professor Duvier is easily the best Math professor I've had at TTU. He really cares for his students and gives grace when necessary. I've never had an unpleasant interaction with him, and he's extremely communicative so it's rare that you would miss a deadline. Be sure to attend class, pay attention, and ask questions, and keep up with homework.

There is no way you won't pass his class. You would have to try to fail. Hank is super funny and makes his class bearable. He cares about his student and makes math make so much more sense. Attendance is mandatory but his class is very very easy. His exam are not difficult either. You will actually learn something in his class.

Hank's class is a breeze! He's super engaging and makes math way easier to understand. Attendance is mandatory, but it's worth it - you'll actually learn a lot. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for study prep too.

Mr. Hank was fantastic. His classes were short, usually cut in half, and used for study sessions, during which he helped with homework assignments. He also allowed study guides on the exams, which were usually only two pages (about 18 questions). You only need a calculator for this class, which he will explain early on. The homework was easy, too.

Very chill. All tests are taken in groups with notes! easy homeworks. very nice guy to talk to, and he is very helpful. I am no math major, but he makes it impossible to fail as long as you pay attention and are respectful. Frequent no role days (help sessions).
