Hank, is good teacher. His lectures are done well. He gives effective study guides before and tells you what you can expect to see on tests. He sets you up nicely, if you do the work then you should be able to maek an A.

SOOO CUTE & FUNNY!! Quizzes are taken AFTER we go over everything in class. He is very straightforeward and very understanding of anything that makes you late or miss class. He is very helpful. Just perfect over all. And I hate English! But he made is super easy to understand! LOVE HIM!

Wonderful. Very stress free. Gives you all he’s got and prepares you for quizzes and test. No surprises. Helps you as much as is possible. Listen to his guide and study what he says to study and you’ll be good. Final exam only dealt with material after mid-term. That was great since the subject already has so much content.

The best class I have ever taken at GPC-he is a hoot, and you will learn a lot at the same time. His accent is fun to listen to, and the material is interesting. If you have a brain & speak English-you should easily get an A!

Mr. Eidson is awesome!!! He makes his lectures very interesting, and he is very funny. I learned a lot in his class and had fun while doing it. He did keep changing his due dates, however, which got to be a bit annoying. Overall, he is one of the best teachers I have had at GPC.

1st half of semester is short stories and plays. Quizes every week and 1 paper due. 2nd half is poems. Difficult, but lectures completely clear the poems up. Final and midterm are HARD but if your attendance is good you'll ace. Also, research paper and poem paper towards end of semester. LOVEs his job and it shows. Funny, fun, and helpful A+

i love hank, can u imagine a country boy teaching shakespeare? really easy quizes (just write down EVERYTHING he says & go to class) but REALLY hard papers, so good balance. he is quite opinionated and like many teachers wants u to see how he does, but he's funny, chill, and a good teacher. just wait till the first day of poetry. go stoned that day

EIDSON ROCKS! I've taken him twice and he is my fav. professor. He makes learning about classical literature fun and easy. He grades each student based on their own abilities and not with high expectations. Read the material - he will explain it clearly. Don't make the quizzes and tests harder than they have to be. Shorter, clear answers are fine.

He is the best Literature Instructor in GPC. He grades the papers really good. The second part of the book is poetry and is fairly hard. If you take a good notes in his class, you can easily make A in all his qizzess. You are gonna love this class. It is highly recommanded.

I took him for British Literature and he was great. You have to attend class everyday and read read read. The material itself is a bore but if you take good notes will do well.

I took him for 1102. GREAT teacher, smart and fun. GO to class and take notes and you will pass. Simple as that, don't go and miss the notes and fail. ALL tests come from notes. ALL! Midterm and Final are HARD but if good notes were taken you will be fine. In my opinion, BEST teacher at GA Perimeter. Easy to talk too and cares about students! A+

I took English 1102H with this professor and he was great. Some classes were so interesting that I didn't want to leave even after the class ended. This teacher makes a boring class very interesting.

Lots of quizzes, but only 1 paper, long midterm and final, but generally pretty straightforward. Really cares that the students understand the material. Would take him again in a heartbeat.

Great, great teacher. I thought that this class would be very hard but to my surprise it went very well. At times it got hard but if you take notes and study you won't have any problems. There was a load of work on the midterm and final (5 pages) but they were alll straight to the point. I totally recommend anyone to take him. Wonderful teacher!!!!

Mr. Eidson is a very good teacher. He wants you to just call him "Hank." I really didn't think the class would be good but it was! I got an "A" out of the class. All of the quizzes are easy. All you have to do is study! If you fail it is your own fault. Truly a good teacher.

Eidson is a really great guy! He's very willing to help all of his students and is so nice. Take good notes and write all the terms he has on the board, they'll come in handy for quizzes, midterm and final. I really looked forward to going to class everyday because he made the material interesting and thoroughly helped me understand each text. =)

He will tell you everything you need to know for his quizzes&test.Test are extremely long and can be hard if you don't study because they are not multiple choice.He is an easy grader but takes super long to give back grades.Overall he is great teacher and a must take for engl 1102.

I had Prof. Eidson for British Lit summer semester. You have to hear him read Beowulf with his cute southern drawl ;) He's hilarious. You may get hand cramps from writing so much on his quizzes/exams, but he explains everything in detail and parallels certain themes in the various works read in class to modern day societal problems.

BAD-Our class did not receive grades back on time due to his stress level this semester. GOOD-Hank is an excellent professor.Classes are casual, and discussion based.He makes short stories you read very interesting.His tests and quizzes are, albeit, lengthy but thorough and simple.Final is the easiest grade.Highly recommendable.

A really awesome guy... but kind of a lazy teacher. Our class got zero grades back from him throughout the semester. However, I did get an A so i cant hate him that much. His classes are awesome and I do love the way he looks at literature and the way he allowed us to have our own opinions.

He's a GREAT teacher! His discussions can be a little boring BUT they are very informative. His quizzes and tests are VERY long but he doesn't grade harshly. He gives a lot of feedback on papers although he takes forever to grade. He's an overall GREAT professor. I recommend 100%

Great professor! 2 papers, 1 midterm, 1 final, and quizzes throughout the semester about the material covered (he never quizzes on anything he hasn't gone over) Reads in class, and explains everything that needs explanation. The study guides to the midterm and final are the "tickets" to a great grade (If you STUDY). Show up. Be respectful.

He's an amazing teacher! Explains perfectly and makes you think. Tells you exactly what you need to know. His study guides and study guides are really long but they are exactly what he tells you. Study everything he tells you and you'll get an A. 1 essay, 1 mini research paper, 1 full research paper, midterm, final and few quizzes.

Believe me he is the only english professor who grades your paper reasonably. He will take answers from every point of view. Notes are very clear and straight to the point.Tests are long, but they are doable. Do not miss the opportunity to take this class.

Hank Eidson is an incredible professor! He wants his students to pass and he truly shows that. He will work with you and let you submit papers late, and he grades easily. Lots of extra credit. One of the best professor i have ever taken for ENGL. Hilarious and he can crack some nice jokes. You will love him and He is easy on grades and will do anything to help you through out the class. Taking him again For British Lit.

The papers that are assigned are not terribly long, but he will nit-pick papers (which is not a bad thing, my writing has improved because of this class). Hank is hilarious and straightforward - he will say what he wants to without hesitation which is something that I like about this class. Would definitely recommend.

One of my favorite teachers and I still talk to him. He will give you credit on tests if you try or if he thinks its funny. Multiple extra credit options. In class he mostly reviewed the reading, so if you understood you didn't have to come, but if you do he covers everything you'd need to know. He constantly says he wants you to pass, nice teacher

I took professor Eidson for both ENGL 1002, and British Lit. You can tell that he cares about the students as much as he enjoys teaching the material. He makes class interesting with his awesome humor! He prepares you for every test and quiz, and he kept saying how he wanted everyone to have an A at the end of the semester. Highly recommended!

Too many things to do 4 research papers. Too many questions on the tests. I couldn't finish on time. He explains clearly and you should listen carefully, every sentence appears in the tests. Very nice and open-minded person.

I took Professor Eidson for English 1102H and it was a fairly easy. He really does care for his students and goes out his way to help you not just succeed but to become a better writer too. There are a lot of papers to write but it is a college course and it will be difficult but treat him with respect and everything will be fine. Recommend Him!

Professor Hank is an interesting teacher. He gives a lot of examples referencing himself and he makes sure that he tries to carry everyone along. He works with you regarding tests and exams and he gives enough time before papers are due. He is more concerned about the information that students' are receiving than their grades.

Easiest A's I have had. I have had him as a professor for 4 semesters already. He is Quality over Quantity when it come to his class. Example if 5 books are assigned for the class he may only get to 3. Lectures are easy to follow, whatever he writes on the board is important. He is in your corner, he will help you as much as he can. I RECOMMEND HIM

As long as you read the books which were (Frankenstein, Persuasion, and dr. jekkl) you will pass easily, i'd even go as far to say you could watch the movies and still get an A.

I was shocked when I saw the bad reviews Mr. Eidson got. I think he is one of the best teachers I had in college so far. He always tries to help students and does whatever he can to help students get a good grade. His lectures can be boring sometimes, but they do cover stuff for tests and papers. And I enjoy listening to his southern voice.

I have really enjoyed Mr. Hank's class. He worked closely with me to help me pull up my grade because I had a hard time with grammar as a foreign student and I know he cares about my work. I wish his test were not so long but they are still easy if you study the study sheets he gives you before the tests. I think you should take him.

This class is easy, and he is a nicw Professor. He sometimes cancel class due to his migraines and etc.. Edison will help curve your grade, and it isnt hard to pass. There are a couple essays you have to write... but the thing is.. Ive never received them back. Therefore, I never knew what I should work on when writing. Its an Easy A tho

This guy is good his class is straight forward he knows what he's talking about and his assignments are fairly simple. He's really nice. If you're looking for a challenge this would not be it. In this class, you read the text and talk about it in class together and his test or final is exactly like the study guide. Barely any homework a few essays

Great and engaging professor. Every class involved fun and stimulating class participation. The homework load was light, and what was given was usually simple and straightforward. If you want a class that's focused on learning and engaging, Professor Hank's class is perfect.
