she is good go but you'll have a hard time if you dont go to class.

great teacher, as long as you show up to class you'll be fine. her english is fine, whoever wrote that other rating is making an excuse for his or her own learning disability

I'm am not great at math but I earned an A. You must come to class, do the homework and study. Hanli's English is fine, yes she does have an accent. She is available for extra help outside of class + there is the Math Lab. I challenge everyone who complains about her to try teaching Algebra in Chinese!

I didn't think she was that bad. Statistics is a hard subject as it is. She's very nice, it was hard to understand her in the beginning but you get used to it. Oveall i think she was a good teacher!

The class isn?t easy. Attendance is important if you want to do well. There is homework assigned every class, a project, 6 quizzes, and 3 tests. Prof. Huang was a very good teacher. She is always available to help you. (her English is not bad at all.)

This is not an easy class. You have to study and do all homework assignments. But she is a great teacher, who makes sure and goes over all the material you need to know. Take her.

Stats is really hard. But she goes over the information like 10 times...you have to work hard...she is always there to help you...she will even be like "Are we good" to make sure everyone gets it. She is fantastic.

She's very sweet but her accent is incredibly strong and causes discrepancies between what she wants you to do and what you THINK she wants you to do. She's very available for help and will explain over and over if needed. The material itself can be hard but she teaches it well beside the accent. I disliked her at first but loved her at the end.

I can understand why everyone's saying the things they're saying, but I actually really liked her. The class itself is work. She always said that your grade is in your hands, and she is merely the messenger. So true though! Her accent isn't that hard at all. She always makes asks the class if they're ok, and if you don't, she'll go over it again :)

She's so far my favorite teacher at brookdale. She's very helpful and will do everything in her power to help you understand the topic as long as you put in the effort. Some people complain about her accent but in my opinion her accent is still understandable. I would pick her as my professor again if i can and i recommend taking her

This class is hard, but she does a good job of helping. For the lab do the senators...it is easiest. You can hand labs in after class. I hateeeeeee math and still got an A. I would take another math class with her. Explains things well. 3 unit tests, go to test review classes

Awesome teacher. Anyone that is saying something bad about her just doesnt want to do the work. She's a hard grader but the class is EASY ...IF you PAY ATTENTION... great teacher would def take her again

To be completely honest, I LOVED her. Yes, she does have an accent but it isn't that bad if you can speak english you can understand her. -She will make any extra time you need. -She is understanding. I would take a class with her again if I could. She was great.

I took Mrs. H. during a summer course. Absolutely loved it. Although material goes by fast, she actually teaches it. Her labs are easy if u pay attention. Quizzes are a little tricky so just study your notes . Tests are average. Not to tough, not to easy. BUT you need to spend extra time studying for this class or you will not pass. Def take again!

GREAT teacher! She is willing to help and work with you when you need the help! Provided a lot of opportunities to help keep your grade up, labs, quizzes and tests. Does not base entire grade on 2 tests throughout the entire semester like others do. I wish she could teach me all my math courses!!!!

Such an amazing teacher! My friend took her & got an A after taking a different teacher & failing. So, based on that I took her class. One of the best teachers at Brookdale. She makes a hard subject easy. Don't miss out! Raise your gpa.

I loved her. I never got an A in Math in my entire life. Now I finally achieved it and I'm sure it's because she explains everything over and over and over again if you don't understand it. She expects you to do your work but she also gives a lot of possibilities to raise your grade and uses a lot of examples, which is great.

I love her! I took her this summer. It was intense, and there were lot of materials to study, but as long as you do the homework, and practice a lot, you should be fine. She helps a lot, not only in explaining again things that you don't understand, but also tho boost up your grades.

If you skip class you'll props do horribly.. she offers extra help during her office hours. Her exams are hard

She's tough. Have to be on time every time, class labs every class as attendance, but she gives lots of credit for hw and lots of practice problems. Gives extra credit only if you actually try in class. Not a lot of teachers have this quality, she teaches you to the point where you walk away actually learning algebra.

Ms. Huang cares a lot about her students and how much work you put in. If you make her job difficult by sleeping in class or by being disrespectful/not doing work, but expect to get an A then your wrong! Ms huang is all about being fair. shes always available outside class in her office to help any of students. Shes a great teacher!

You really have to put in time and effort if you want to do well. As long as you pay attention and do the homework it is not hard to pass. You get to do group quizzes, so easy A's.. but you usually end up having to stay after class to finish in the math lab so beware.

Mrs. Huang is definitely one of my favorite professors this spring. I actually just registered for her 152 in the fall. She really cares about her students. All you have to do to pass her class is pay attention. If you need extra help because math is not your strong suit her office hours are available, there is also the math lab, and kahn academy

Very willing to help students. If you pay attention in her class you can get a passing grade- go after for help if you don't understand and you can't fail. Yes, she's really fast with her lectures so it can be hard to keep up but she's really a nice teacher, don't knock her until you get her class.

Professor H was a very caring professor the tests were a little hard and there were quizzes almost every other class. Although it was a lot of work she was very caring and wanted everyone to pass and do their best. Just study, and do what you're supposed to!

Math is not my strong suit, despite prof H heavy accent, I was able to pass. You get used to her accent after a class or2, she talks loudly which helps, & she does care about all her students if you actually care about the class/passing. She makes sure you understand before moving to next question/topic. She will help if struggling, just reach out.

Always around in math lab for extra help

Professor Huang was a great professor. Sometimes she goes really fast, but every time I practice I get really good scores. However, I am taking her again and I am not doing so hot in that class, but she encouraged me to practice more. She gives us candy in class frequently. Really cares about her students a lot to move on.

Professor Huang is a great teacher and person in general. Even though I did not pass her class, she tried her best to help me succeed. Caring for her students, but you have to be willing to put in the work.

Great professor who cares about the students. There is a lot of homework but these helped to perform better overall. Class is also fast-paced. Try not to miss any classes!

The reason professor Huang is unpopular is not because of her teaching skills. If you pay attention and truly want to learn instead of just receive a high letter grade, professor Huang is an excellent teacher. That being said, there are other professors who will grade a lot easier and give you a higher GPA though you may not actually learn as much.

I had professor Huang for Intro Data Science Applied Stats and her grading criteria couldn't have been any more clearer and fair. I know how to use R like an expert thanks to her and as long as you pay attention you will understand how things are done. This is the class to take and I would gladly take any other classes with her. Truly amazing!
