The lectures are very dry and the notes are online. If you know her note packets you will do well on the tests. Make sure you review material before quizzes because some of them were hard. She also really wants you to learn. She is really helpful in office hours. Overall I would recommend taking her!
Had her for both chem 1 and 2 for the engineering curriculum. She messes up in lectures more often than you'd like, but always makes sure to correct it. She definitely wants you to learn. She will spend as much time as it takes via email and office hours to help. Her tests aren't too bad, definitely recommended.
Very very dry and boring lecturer. Makes many mistakes during lecture. The exams were up a whole new level compared to the practice problems done in class, and the online homework.
I had her for Engineering Chem 1 and 2. Very boring lectures, but if you attend class and understand how to do the in-class examples it really helps figure out the homework which is harder. If you redo all the homeworks before each exam they aren't that bad. She is always willing to help and even give back some points on exams.
Awful at teaching. Gets confused by her own powerpoints and can't answer student's questions. Lectures are extremely dry and boring. Tests are much harder than practice problems done in class. You pretty much have to teach yourself.
Dr. Morris gives very clear and helpful lectures with many useful examples. Her tests are tough, but they cover the material she talks about in lecture and nothing else. If you go to her for help, she is extremely kind and willing to help you in any way possible. A tough class, but she is a great professor to have.
Overall an easy prof but she tends to mess up in lecture. She will, however, be very specific about what is going to be on the tests. If you know Chem, it will frustrate you when she does an entire problem wrong and doesn't realize until the end but she does correct mistakes. Uses CourseWeb, helpful when you ask questions.
I love Hannah Morris. She is extremely clear about what will be on the exams and loves helping students. She wants you to understand the material very well so you can apply it to real world applications, which are on her exams. They are tough, but it makes sense considering it is engineering chem. I would 100% recommend her.
chem 1 freshman engineer- took ap chem and got a three which helped to have a background. made mistakes during lectures but tried to be clear and make things easy. ppts are helpful and barely read the book. would be an easy a with more effort but slacked off with physics and engineering giving more homework. med-hard tests, but prepares you well
not helpful during office hours, tried to understand what i did wrong and she basicly told me to get smarter
She is a very good lecturer and a very sweet and nice person. She was my favorite professor by far this semester. Very helpful and really cares about her students. Her test can be a little difficult, but they are fair.
Chem with Morris was an extremely fair class. Homework is present, but not ridiculously long. Quizzes every week, but you'll review material in recitation before you take it. In-class assignments can be tough and frustrating, and they essentially mandate attendance. Tests were fine, but the final was too long to finish.
Overall an ok teacher. Beginning of year was easy but tests get harder as you go on. Test questions are pretty consistent with homework. Not the best at explaining things, but good enough and lectures usually went over time.
Dr. Morris is a bit long winded. Her lectures are long and she breezes through the power point, but she tries to explain the material further on the board. She is very friendly and helpful during office hours. All of the lectures are online & it's best to read them over. I hardly ever used the book except for practice probs, so get the older edits.
Dr. Morris is a great professor. She wants to help us learn and always gives us opportunities to ask questions. She puts the material on CourseWeb, which I appreciate. Her lectures can be dry, but I benefited from how she presented the material. Her tests can be very tricky though, so you really need to study. Overall, I would recommend her.
Her lectures are very boring, but she gives a lot of information in them, and posts the notes on courseweb. Her tests are pretty hard, so you definitely need to study
Her lectures are designed to help everyone get as much out of them as possible, with practice problems and diagrams, and she thoroughly answers any questions you may have. She does give in-class assignments at random, and unfortunately I didn't tend to attend lectures, meaning I missed a lot of very easy points, so definitely go to class.
I would have enjoyed her class if it was anything but chemistry. Horrible subject, great Prof.
She's a good teacher with organized slides. Her notes on the board and her speech, however, are not quite as organized. Her notes are very jumbled so you need to be paying attention. Also, she studders a decent amount which can sometimes make it hard to follow. But overall decent professor.
Dr. Morris's lectures were usually boring, but so is chemistry. Occasionally she will make an adorkable chemistry joke which cheers me up . The exams are difficult but none of the material on them is surprising. I rarely used the textbook because her lecture are comprehensive. She is friendly and will always answer questions.
She teaches the material well. Make sure to bring some coffee or something cause her voice tends to put people to sleep. Study for the exams cause they tend to be hard. She's really nice and approachable though, and can help you if you have any issues.
Dr. Morris is a very good lecturer, going over material and providing examples for each topic, albeit they can get somewhat boring near the end of class. One thing I found about her lectures is that they don't necessarily prepare you for the exams at all. The lectures are very concept heavy, while the exams are almost all math and word problems.
Covers topics seemingly well, however test are much harder than necessary and always take more than the allotted time. If there is another option for professor take the other professor.
Would highly recommend against taking her. Very boring lectures. She'll mention a topic for 5 seconds in class, and then put it on the test. Tests are overly difficult, and end up taking way too long. I did great in quizzes and HW, but the tests weren't fair at all. She's a nice person but awful at making tests that are fair at all.
Morris is good at teaching and makes sure you understand the topic, however her tests are insane. She couldn't care less if you got the correct answer or not. Rather, she cares about how much work you filled your page with and it HAS to align w/ what she put on her answer key (Ex. You'll get 10-20 pts off if you wrote 3 instead of 1+23).
nobody can finish the test. TOO many questions in the test
Dr. Morris really is a good professor; she really cares about all of her students. Her tests however are quite long, so study hard and be prepared for anything. If I had questions, she was always very willing to help me. If you want to work hard and like chemistry, I definitely recommend Dr. Morris.
Dr. Morris is not an exciting and engaging lecturer by any means but she covers all the material she needs to and provides ample practice through sapling homework. I never needed to use the book, just take good notes in class and do the HW. But beware, her tests are usually long and stressful to finish in time.
Dr. Morris is an excellent professor and will teach you all you need to know. There is no need to read the textbook. Just go to class, and any questions you have just ask her directly as she is always willing to help students out. Her tests are the only issue; they are often long so if she gives you extra time then take it.
Dr. Morris cares about her students; she really wants the best for us. Her lectures are clear and concise, so you know the concepts that will be heavily tested on the exams. Exams are fair but long and can be difficult to finish; take advantage of the extra time that she gives to take them.
I'm glad I had Dr. Morris for Chem 960 and 970. This semester was definitely harder than last because of the material. It was harder to ace tests this semester so you'll need to study a little more than for chem 1. Take all the notes you can in class and do some practice problems for the tests
Dr. Morris is a solid teacher, and her lectures are easy to follow. Past that, her lectures are monotonous and lack the enthusiasm to keep you easily engaged.
The lectures are dense (and at times dry), but they are thorough and prepare you well. If you pay attention in class, nothing on the exam should be a surprise. Exams are long, but she always give you enough time to finish. You can easily pass the class without opening the textbook, but I recommend using it to study. I plan on taking 0790 with her.
I walked into an exam after studying for a week. I could redid all the homework, in-class assignments, and quizzes, practice problems in the power point, and all of the practice problems provided by Sapling. I could do all of those problems without issue. I walked outta the exam, unfinished after 1hr and 20mins and was still unfinished and failed.
This class is extremely reasonable. She covers all material that will be on the exams, and that's more than I get from most other professors. It is lecture heavy but what do you expect when you don't have a lab. Tests are long but she lets students come in to start early. Work fast and it is doable. She is organized and cares for her students.
Hannah Morris is a wonderful teacher and a very caring person. I took her for both chem 0960 and chem 0970 and I would definitely take her again. Her tests are hard (and fair) though, so be warned.
The entire class is very lecture-heavy, but Morris knows what she's doing and keeps class interesting enough... Tests are long, but usually fair (asks about content covered in class).
Dr. Morris is a good professor. She really cares about her students, and it shows in her teaching. Her lectures can be a little bit boring, but they are informative and help you understand the material. The one issue with Morris is her tests. They are VERY long, and often nobody finishes them. If you pay attention, you'll do fine in the class.
Morris is a pretty solid professor, but you need to prepare for the exams and they are usually pretty long, but in terms of difficulty, they were moderate. You'll be fine with her for chem 1 but I'd maybe look elsewhere for chem 2.
I took a 6 week chem 2 course over the summer and the material moves FAST. However, she has a lot of office hours and is always willing to help you out over email or in person. Very caring and wants to help you pass, but her tests are difficult and long ( but fair)and only tests you on things shes gone over in class. Clarifies what you need to know
She's a solid professor. Follows the book very closely. Her lectures are fine and is open to questions.
Chem is definitely a challenge but Morris does a pretty good job at explaining things. She posts her lecture slides online so you can look at them if you don't go to lecture. She does example problems in class which helps. If you read the textbook and study for exams you should do okay, but the exams are definitely very long, it's hard to finish.
A very laid back woman. Doesn't care if you show up to class, but if you do, don't goof around during the lectures. Very good at clearly explaining the more complex topics. Pretty easy quizzes but the exams are definitely more difficult. Studying is most likely a must but still wouldn't say it's too terrible.
Dr. Morris is a wonderful professor! She is very accessible through email and understanding and helpful if you go to office hours and ask about homework problems / test prep. Her exams are long, but she starts them early so that students have more time. Class is lecture-heavy, but she knows what she is talking about and cares about her students.
Had her for CHEM 0960 as well, which wasn't bad. Didn't heed some of the warnings here and took her for CHEM 0970 which wasn't a fun time. The tests are VERY long. Luckily the lab was there to cushion my overall grade from my poor test grades which happened because there just wasn't enough time to do it all and do it correctly.
The course itself is difficult, but Dr. Morris does a great job of helping you through it. She is always happy to talk outside of lecture and cares about her students. You won't go wrong taking one of her classes even though it will be difficult.
Dr. Morris is a great chem lecturer and is definitely one of the better profs in the department. She genuinely wants you to understand the material and gives plenty of assignments/examples to prepare for her exams, which are very fairly written. Go to the lectures (not mandatory) because her exams are well rounded in both conceptual/word problems.
Dr. Morris is the best chem professor I have had. If you are taking her for engineering chemistry 0960 or 0970 take her. From all my freshman professors she cared the most and really knows her stuff. She is excited for questions and exploring other angles to thinking so for sure ask questions. Be ready for exams, but do the HW and you are set!
Dr. Morris is one of the best professors I've ever taken. Very helpful during office hours and reasonable if you are late turning in homework. She adjusted well for our switch to online, and gives many opportunities to get good grades (lots of homework and quizzes)
Dr Morris is a totally fine professor, not much else to say. She teaches the material solidly and is very nice. Only thing I didnt like were the Chem 101 portions of the test where no partial credit is given.
Her organizational skills leave much to be desired. She posts all her notes and TAs provide lots of review material. Lectures are pretty comprehensive but the book can be helpful if youre struggling to understand stuff. Lectures can be a bit boring. She will curve if necessary. Overall decent but nothing amazing
morris was the most irritating professor ive had this semester. she gave us a midterm 3 days before finals week. she also assigns a ton of homework each week, leaving no time to do any actual studying.
I had Dr. Morris for both Chem 960 and Chem 970, and I loved her for both. Her exams are difficult and studying is necessary, but it's definitely doable. There is a lot of outside work. She offers alot of help and review sessions before a test. Her office hours are a great opportunity. She cares about her students and is passionate about chemistry.
Dr. Morris's lectures can be a bit boring, but she truly is a very nice lady who will answer everyone's questions and make sure you understand. We had a lot of tests throughout the semester but they were pretty fair and similar to the homework we completed each week. I had her for both chem 1 and 2 and she's a solid choice.
Dr. Morris really cares about her students learning the material. If you put the work in, she will be glad to help you. She is a great professor who explains things really well. I feel like I actually understand chemistry because of how she teaches it.
Not very organized or and class always ran long. She posts all her notes and TAs provide lots of review material. Lectures are pretty comprehensive so you dont need the book. She will curve if necessary. Expect 4 or 5 exams instead of a midterm.
Her exams are often poorly written, which is my biggest struggle. You need to pay attention during class or else you will be lost, especially when it comes to recitation quizzes, which are also poorly written, most of the time. She tries to fit as much information as possible into her lecture, which makes it hard to understand the important stuff.
Dr. Morris is a fine professor at best. She's very nice, but assigns a ton of homework each week. You'll have at least 3+ homework assignments per week. She also talks about way too many things instead of focusing on the core concepts. She jams way too many things into her lectures and you leave them not even knowing what the core concepts are.
Dr. Morris often goes over fairly simple examples in class. Then on the homework and tests, she gives problems that are way more difficult. She also gives makes homework due every day over the weekend.
She gives of the impression that she is very insecure. Basically just goes through the textbook. It is hard to tell what is important because she crams everything in. I don't really feel that I understand chemistry better than I did before this class. I would recommend someone who better pushes your ability to critically think.
She gives out so much homework that you dont have time to study. She is very harsh on grading the exams and it is difficult to get partial credit.
Dr. Morris was an incredibly average professor. Her lectures were incredibly boring, but you can tell that she is passionate about the subject matter at least. The tests were incredibly long and she gave homework on way too many platforms, so it was easy to miss an assignment. She wasn't the worst, but she was far from the best.
Dr. Morris is very straighfoward and teaches fast, but go to class and do the hw and you will be fine. Super nice and the hw often is very similar to the tests. The only thing I didn't like were recitation quizzes, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Overall, I really liked her and would take again.
Dr. Morris is a good choice for engineering chem. She gave more homework than my other classes, but I would say it only took around 3 hours per week to complete. She frequently extended homework deadlines and is willing to curve exams.
Her lectures are boring but very informative and helpful; answer questions during class, itll help you significantly. She gives hw on many platforms which is annoying but nothing is too long. Exams are long but she gives you sample-type problems very frequently so they arent hard. Overall caring and sometimes moves deadlines back as needed.
All the covered material is in powerpoints, and easily accessible to review. All material pretty much covered in lecture, with a good bit of homework. However the homework was necessary because it gave you great practice and understanding for exams. Super lenient and helpful too, you just have to ask.
Really average, incredibly boring lectures. Gets mixed up a lot while lecturing and occasionally gets corrected by students. Somehow goes slow as hell while also flying through the PowerPoints she seemingly doesn't even make. Tests are long as hell and most people don't finish. She is however responsive to emails and is willing to help students.
Morris is one of the nicest profs. I asked a lot of questions after lectures or during her, OH and she was always very patient. She might be somewhat all over at times, but she tries her best to stay on the topic. Her lectures are slow, so it is easy to follow. Go over her PowerPoint and you are good for the exams. final is similar to her exams.
If you haven't taken AP Chemistry before, chemistry with Dr. Morris will be rough. There is a lot of homework, and the exams are very difficult. Having prior experience in chemistry will be very beneficial. The exams are very long as well, and there is little if any curve at the end. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you can.
Dr. Morris is a very fine professor, and you will succeed if you work hard. Lectures are content heavy so come prepared and focus in class. Her exams can be very lengthy, so be warned. Study her powerpoints for conceptual understanding and complete and understand many practice problems and you will do well in her class.
This class can be difficult if you haven't already taken AP Chem but if you have this class is an easy A. Exams are long and there isn't much time to waste but she has review OH before every exam that help a ton! This class is homework heavy but it really prepares you for exams and the final. Didn't use my textbook at all, used mostly ppts to study
Apparently, this class is a lot easier if you have taken AP Chem, which I did not take. As a teacher. She is simply ok, her lectures try to cram information, and are long. She gives you a LOT of homework to do throughout the week. Her exams are the worst, most of the questions are poorly written. And the exams are way too long. Would not recommend
Had her at 8:00 am every day. Nice enough person, but can get annoying that early in the morning. She doesn't record her lectures that I am aware of, so if you miss a class, you're basically screwed if you don't have a friend to send you the notes. Tests are meh
Hannah Morris definitely cares about teaching chemistry and its what I find most important from professors. I got a bad grade but I am not great at chem to begin with. The textbook isn't very helpful but its free online so try it. The exams aren't too difficult but I always ran out of time, as did most other people I talked to in the class.
I had Morris both semesters for chem, and not taking AP chem made this class much harder. She assigns 4-6 hw assignments per week. Tests are long and she likes to trick you on purpose. She has many office hours and is happy to help. Lectures are quite boring and often felt dragged on. She also never does review for exams in class.
Incredibly boring and absolutely atrocious at writing exams. Always some sort of typo or other mistake, sometimes in more than one spot. Exams are always WAY too long and half the time is spent trying to understand what the paragraph-long questions are even asking you to do. Awful experience.
Gives a lot of homework at least 4 different long homework each week. Her slides are pretty helpful but can contain irrelevant information. Her tests can be hard if you don't study and they are very long. Her finals are terrible. Most people take up the entire time given. Very kind and ready to help outside of class.
She accidentally posted the final on canvas. Everyone saw it and she didn't change the questions when we took the final exam. She is a very fair grader and offers a lot of hw which is nice if tests aren't your strong suit. Her lectures are very informative, but they can get boring at times.
Dr. Morris did a really good job explaining concepts during lecture. Pay extra attention during lecture, take good notes and it will save you time studying later. Quizzes in recitation to go over material in the previous lecture. Tests were long but fair and everything on it was recognizable. Do not count on a curve but it is not hard to do well.
LOVE Dr.Morris, she is very sweet and always willing to help. This class is not easy but she makes it much more understandable. Definitely recommend.
Dr. Morris is a very kind person and is super approachable. However, her lectures tend to move fast and she gives a good amount of homework. Luckily, this homework is usually not too difficult as long as you're paying attention in class, and is a good grade booster. As a person who's had both chem profs this year, Morris is a better option IMO.
I personally do not like chem at all so I may be partially biased. Absolutely despised this class. The workload is far too extreme. You have a 30-question homework, a review assignment, a quiz, Aktiv, and packback every week. She made tests way too long and I could never finish. Avoid if you can, but if you can't, be ready to put in the hours.
Dr. Morris is the better of the two first-year chem profs, but her class is somewhat harder. She assigned us a lot of homework and her exams are hard. She explains concepts well in lecture, but is very fast. I read the textbook before lectures, which helped me keep pace. If you have questions, be sure to ask her - she is approachable and helpful.
Dr. Morris was good at presenting all of the information that you need for her class, but was slightly boring in lecture. She gave a lot of homework, but it was almost identical to what was on the exams, so it was worth it to complete it, and she always helped with any questions. As long as you take notes and study hard you will be fine.
Very knowledgeable and helpful if I had any question. I took her for both 0960-0970 and is the reason why I am a Chem-E. Sure the tests are hard and she talks fast in the lectures, but you get used to those things very quick. She made a hard class enjoyable
Her exams were very difficult, and her lectures were very fast paced. But she is very helpful in answering your questions whether it was before or after class and in office hours. It may be difficult at first to get used to her pace but if you read the notes and do the homework with the review topics, you should be fine with the exams.
Dr. Morris was a very caring professor that really wants her students to succeed. That being said, most of her test averages were in the 60's, and she didn't curve the class AT ALL. If you are a bad test taker, I would stay away from her.
Dr. Morris is a great choice for chem 1! There are 3 exams and the final. The exams are challenging but for the most part they are fair. There's a lot of HW. The review topics are usually a great reflection of exam questions so use those to your advantage. She is very accessible in her office hours which she has multiple times a week so use those!
Chem 2 was more challenging then chem 1 with her, but I would still recommend taking chem 2 with her. Exams are challenging but she gives you a lot of resources. Do the homework and don't fall behind in topics.
You can tell through the way she lectures she is very knowledgable and passionate about chemistry. She is not the type of professor to belittle you for not understanding something. I went to her office hours consistently and she was always willing to help. Go to her directly for test regrades. Overall a great professor and cares about her students.
There are 3 main exams and 1 final exam. The exams are pretty tough, although if you can do the review topics with little difficulty then you should be good (study other material as well). Dr. Morris is a nice professor and is a good professor, but the course is not easy so I think she did a good job teaching the material.
Dr. Morris was good at explaining topics but lectures were fairly boring. There was a lot of homework every week that was pretty time consuming so that was annoying. Exams were difficult, but doable if you studied and the final was similar difficulty. She is definitely the lesser of evils out of the two chem engineering profs.
My friend showed up 45 minutes late for his test and she still gave him the full time to take his test so he could finish it
Professor Morris seemed very concerned with both the wellbeing and success of her students
Dr. Morris is a caring prof who loves teaching, but talks fast. Office hours were also helpful. However, lots of weekly assignments (Packback, Topic Review, 30 question Achieve, Aktiv), tough exams, and no curve. Almost everyone failed the 3rd Thermo midterm and she still did not curve. Final went well, but that was only bc we were given 3 hours.
I cannot recommend professor Morris more. I had already taken chemistry in high school, but the way that she teaches the class ensures that everyone of any level can get a good grade. Of the several times I reached out for help, she always answered super quick and she gives so many opportunities to ask for help from a TA or herself
Dr. Morris was a very good professor and taught the material in a way that was easy to understand. The homework can be time consuming at times but it really is not too bad as long as you start it towards the beginning of the week. I'd also recommend starting to make flash cards at the beginning of the semester because there is a lot of content.
I enjoyed Professor Morris's class. Lots of homework made it feel like a high school class, and exams were very long. You have to know everything going into exams or you won't finish. During lecture, Professor Morris was great. She answered every question in detail and did lots of example problems (quiz/exam problems were exactly the same).
Dr. Morris is a great teacher and shows that she cares about her students. She assigns a lot of material that is a lot of work compared to my other classes but it is also a grade booster for the tests. Overall, great professor but it is simply a hard course with a lot of coursework.
Lectures can be dry at times, but she's so clearly passionate about chem and actually cares that we all learn and understand. The grading is fair, and there are several weekly assignments but nothing unmanageable. Her teaching style really clicked with me, so I barely had to study for exams/quizzes/the final which was great. Highly recommend.
I mean I suck at chem & hate it with my whole heart but my girl Hannah is a slay. If it weren't for lab, I prob would've done better but such is life. Be on top of your assignments & check her weekly update and you are GOLD. If something doesn't make sense, go to office hours she will work so hard to help you get it. She's a queen 10/10.
Dr. Morris was a good prof overall. Chem 2 is hard, and even harder when you do it in 6 weeks. Lots of homework but that just gives padding in case you do bad on exams. Do the hw early, and start studying early for exams! Might have done better if lab was higher but oh well. Morris cares, and emails back quick, office hours are helpful!
Professor Morris is passionate about the subject and cares about student learning. The workload is manageable with consistent effort, and resources like Unstuck study can help with study prep. Overall, a challenging but rewarding class.
Morris shouldn't be your first option for chem 0970. Her exams were awful (averages were around the 60's) and it was hard to break the class average even when you put in 8+ hours of studying every week. Way too much hw for a chem class. Final was even worse and there was stuff we have never learned on it. Doesn't curve anything until the last day
Overall, she is the better option for this course. The homework is manageable but annoying at times. Lectures are recorded, so you can go back and relearn material if needed. Her tests are difficult, with averages in the seventies, but they are fair and better than Maleckar, where she had sixty-and-fifty averages.
I loved Professor Morris' summer gen chem class. She's really good at explaining more difficult concepts and the homework is actually helpful for the exams.
I took her class to complete a G grade and honestly, shes one of the easiest chem professors ive ever had. Work with her, and she will work with you. Her lecture material is not easy, but if you can break it down with her at office hours youll do just fine. Exams have partial credit and look just like the review sheet. easy to prep for her classes!
teaches material on the exam 2 days before and crams in too much at once. if you havent taken ap chem in highschool start praying lol
I enjoyed Dr. Morris for CHEM 0960. She's super kind and VERY generous about points back on midterms. If you go into her office hours and explain your reasoning for why, she will more than likely give you the points back. Her tests are difficult but straight forward if you understand the material. Personally, she is the best option for CHEM 0960.
Dr. Morris is a solid professor. Nothing too good, nothing too bad. She is very kind, lectures fairly well, though she goes through the problems a bit too fast. There is quite a lot of homework in her class, but it prepares you for her tests, which she also hosts helpful review sessions for.
CHEM 0960's lectures move fast and have a lot of information is condensed in them, but Dr. Morris is a great explainer and has fully answered any question I asked. She holds review sessions leading up to exams which are very helpful. One thing I will say is that you want to really pay attention during lecture bc it moves so fast.
Dr. Morris is one of the best professor's I had my freshmen year. She hosts review sessions before tests, gives you extra time during tests; like 30min extra, and genuinely cares about you succeeding. To do good in her class, pay attention in lectures, solve lecture questions, and find past exams. Her exams are not easy but completely fair.
Dr. Morris has a clear passion and care for the class and her students. She gives many different resources in order for you as a student to succeed and understand the material. She posts weekly updates on what assignments are due the said week and what's covered in lecture that week, which is extremely helpful, would recommend.
Dr. Morris is AMAZING. Took her for chem 2 over the summer (in 6 weeks), and I actually understood the information. She provides recitation worksheets, PackBack for attendance and interaction, and online homework. Very approachable and will take time to answer your questions in class. I definitely recommend.
Morris is the better option, but gives more homework than any other professor BY FAR. Moves fast in lectures and was impossible to take notes unless you pull up the powerpoint yourself or import it to a notetaking app and write on the slides. She is very nice and cares, and is much better if you go to her for help. Average on every exam was 70.
The professor is great. Lots of homework, but they helped me in grasping the material, so the homework was very useful. Lecture is recorded. Attending lecture is not mandatory, except when we have exams, which you will find the dates for readily available in the schedule on the canvas page. Attending recitation is required, though.
She gives 11 quizzes throughout the semester and drops the lowest grade which then buffers as an extra exam (3 midterms + final), and tons of homework.
