Hans is amazing! He's really pssionate about psychology and he loves to teach. You can tell he really enjoys being in the classroom. Whenever soemone has a wuestion, he gets really excited and runs up the aisle with his microphone. I just can't say enough good things about Hans.

Hans did such a great job teaching this course, and all of his lectures were very interesting. I especially appreciated the timbits at every student presentation!

"Am I on acid?" No, probably not, but despite those odd moments, Hans made neuroscience - if not completely accessible - at least completely appealing to a completely arts student. Good show, despite that****acular exam diagram.

Dr. Dringenberg brought a different dimension to the PSYC 100 class. He employed some absurb examples to convey his points, but he kept us all on the edge of our seats. He tried to relate a very complex topic such as neuroscience to an elementary level audience, and in doing so, he suceeded; it was the grading that was at a disproportionate level.

Excellent prof. You can really see that he is extremely interested in what he discusses - a credit to the module system of PSYC100. Very funny and generally effective.

Hans has been one of my favourite profs so far in university. He's so happy and adorable, and the fact that he dressed up for Halloween just made my day.

A really great prof. If you have a science background his material is pretty easy. His exam is fair. In psyc 100 if you know the material including DETAILS you will do really well.

Spectacular prof, very approachable and eager to discuss ideas in class or out of it. Flexible with respect to any issues that might arise. Good sense of humour, and a genuine interest in his field of research/teaching. Plus he's superhot. Yumyum...

Absolutely hilarious prof. Dressed up as dracula and taught the class like that for Halloween. He presented lecture material clearly, and was easy to focus on. Lecture was actually really interesting.

Hans was the best! crystal clear explanations, good notes, and hilarious. you will love going to his class, and his exam questions are fair.

Hans was an amazing professor. His course on sleep was extremely interesting and manageable. It is very easy to do well in if you put in the work (the material involves understanding it - not just common knowledge). One of the best courses I've taken at Queen's. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you won't want to miss them.

Brain and behaviour online was hard, but the lectures were incredible, and you could tell that he really cares about his students. Always made the content enjoyable!

I would not recommend taking PSYC271 unless necessary, as the material is quite heavy and difficult, however, very interesting (some of the studies were so cool to learn about). Professor Dringenberg is truly passionate about this topic and made the class more fun. He does care for his students and has been very understanding during these times.

Be attentional to the final exam. The requirements are not very clear and trust me you will lose a lot of marks on that. it will change your grade from a- to b, and you may feel unbelievable when most other students get a+ or a in this course.

The assignments in this class are one of a kind and very fun. The TAs grade very fairly and the bi-weekly quizzes are not too difficult. The final exam was a bit long but Professor Dringenberg directs you in the right direction and explains the best way to prepare. Overall this is one of the best classes I have taken.

Interesting course with engaging assignments. Attend lectures and use Unstuck study for study prep - saved me some time. Exams can be tricky, but Prof Dringenberg guides you well. Overall, a rewarding class.

Honestly, a really sweet and softspoken man. Brain and behaviour isn't my favourite as a psych major, but I did better in this course than I thought I would, so I was pleasantly surprised. He gives clear grading criteria and so long as you're keeping up with readings and consulting the rubric, you'll do fine.
