My opinion of my professor was good he was caring, he had us do a lot of group work which I like and he also. Gives extra credit.. He is awesome

Professor Greiss really cares about his students if you do your part you will pass he always finds a way to help you get extra credit. I would love to take him again. If your not good at math take this class.

Professor Greiss is one of the best professors I have had at Valencia. Let's you retake test, and is very caring. Has an accent, but will repeat if you ask. If you are taking a math class and he is teaching TAKE HIM! Also I took him for trig.

Professor Hany is a type of person that cares about his students. At first, his way of teaching might be a little bit challenging but you will get a hang of it if you pay attention. This Professor does not teach just to have students make a good grade, but also he wants you to have a good comprehension of the subject.

Professor Hany is one of the best professors I ever had at Valencia! He explains in a different way the methods but is easier than you think. He wants all his students to learn how to think mathematically. Is not an easy class, you have to work for your grade but He's so helpful. If you are not good with numbers he's the one!

He is caring and very willing to help. We mostly do work in the classroom and he does encourage participation. What he focuses on is teaching math skills so we could learn not only in other math courses but our day to day life. Math is not my favorite subject, but he made me look forward to class. Awesome professor! Definitely recommend.

I'm a dual enrollment student who is currently a senior in high school, so his teaching is not the same or even close to how high school is. His personality is cool when it comes to him telling jokes and talking to you 1 on 1, but his accent makes it a little to understand him. You can ask him to repeat something and he will do it with no problem.

Pro. Greiss is the best professor I have ever met. He is really an amazing, helpful, and organize teacher. I will definitely take another class with him if he teaches statistics. He cares a lot about his students, and he allows any students to make up work. He let any student who didn't get a good grade on the test to re take the test.

I love this professor! So caring and helpful! Very easy class! Just a few tests and he gives you guides to prepare for exams and tests, that makes tests very easy. you know what to study. Even if you hate math and you are bad in it, you will pass his class for sure!

This is my second time taking this professor and just like the first time, he is super! If you ask the questions, he will give you the answers. he is very sociable and uses terms and comparisons to help you learn and retain the information.

Professor Greiss is another great professor that I was fortunate to have this semester. He made sure that you understood the course material, and went above and beyond to help you outside of the regular classroom hours.

If you don't pass Dr. Greiss' class, you just didn't try or didn't show up. He gives you all of the tools you need, is very flexible and will bend over backward to help his students succeed. He does not expect Math to come naturally to all of us and is willing to figure out how you can get the most out of this class and a decent grade.

He can seem a bit unorganized a lot of the time, but he cares and wants to ensure all his students pass. He is funny. I like that he will do what he can to help you and is very lenient with his students. You will need to study a lot on your own, so be proactive and if any, go to the math lab. He'll see that you tried and that matters the most.

If you do the work and try you will pass. If you do bad on a test he will let you re take the test. He is there to help. Always came in early and stayed late if anyone needed help. If you try you will pass. Very nice professor and occasionally funny.

Prof Greiss is the best. This is my second time taking this course, and he was helpful throughout the whole entire class. He gives you ample chances to retake your tests, which is helpful. Study and you will be fine. No textbook, everything is through canvas. Easy class and he makes coming to class fun!

He was very accessible in and out of class. He always arrived extra early in the library and allowed you to ask anything and would take the time to break it down for you. He would also stay after class if you needed any additional help. A lot of the work was available online to learn, which I liked, and he would break it down in class. YAS!!!!

To preface, I HATE math, I have always hated math, but I was so lucky to find this absolute GEM OF A PROF. Let me tell you, if you don't like math and you need someone who can explain things multiple ways if you don't understand one way, if you need a professor that actually cares about their students' success, please look no further. One of the most genuine, caring profesors I have taken so far. He moves at a quick pace but makes sure that everyone understands thoroughly. If you don't understand, he'll go the extra mile to ensure that you aren't getting left behind. He refuses to give up on you because he cares so don't give up on him. By far one of the best professors I have had in my college career. I have never met a more caring professor who wants the best for his students. I wish he taught outside of math, Id love to take another class from him!! If you see a bad review it means they didnt try at all, he gives so many chances. I would recommend Prof. Greiss to anyone who may not particularly be good at math but still wants to succeed or needs to fulfill credits. Math was my worst subject, but I was able to earn an A in his class. He cares about his students and wants them to do well. He is from Egypt and has a very strong accent, though, so he may be hard to understand.

Professor Greiss class is mandatory appearance! He is understanding and wants you to make an A in his class. Take good notes and appear for his tests. He will allow retakes and all you have to do is study, participate in class and be respectful! Even is math is not your best subject, Professor will help you to succeed!

Prof. Greiss is a very smart man who clearly knows his stuff. On his tests, most of the problems will have been done in class. He allows test retakes, and there's plenty of opportunity to get extra credit so even if you are not doing great on the tests, hang in there! One qualm - he is not the most structured, so that can be challenging.

I am really bad at math but throughout the course, I felt that Greiss was very approachable and understanding. He really cares about what he does. He honestly helps you a lot and offers a good amount of extra credit. Just be sure to keep up with the math lab. Overall as long as he sees you putting effort and trying you should pass.

Easy class to pass even when you don't understand statistics at all. This professor legitimately wants you to pass. Allows retakes of tests and is lenient on homework due dates. Very difficult to fail this class.

If you do the work, you will pass. He English isnt clear but if you ask him to clarify, he will. He is fair and understanding.

I took his class in Fall 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made. Professor Greiss actually cares about your grade and as long as you show him you are trying (retake tests if you need to, do the homework that is rarely assigned), he will pass you. Attendance is important and the tests were weekly.

Professor Greiss is very understanding, to do well in the class you have to put in the effort and never leave anything for last minute because you will get stressed out. He is a good teacher I highly recommend taking him. Passed with an A!!
