The easiest math class I've ever had. Snooze and cruise all the way. She was easy to follow and assigned enough homework to learn without completely going overboard.

Mrs. Dhillon is a great math teacher. The material she covers can be hard at times but she wants you to learn and she is very helpful when you ask questions during or after class. She is the reason I received an A in Math 90.

This class was tough and you definatly had to study to get a descent grade. It was worth it. I learned quite a bit. She allows you to have a "cheat sheet" notecard on the test and a full sheet on the final. This helps a lot becasue there is a lot of memorization.

Very difficult class! If you want to do well, she expects 2-3 hours of homework and studying to be done each night along with quite a bit of memorization. Also, don't ask stupid questions or she'll tell you to see her after class or go to office hours. Most of her lectures are long and monotonous with her proving theorems.

Shes great at explaining and greatlectures and notes. but I must say that the way that she grades her exams are EXTREMEMLY HARD!!!! Every little thing she docks pts off. Next thing you know barely passed the exam. Shes nice if you get to know her. She's helpful when you need help. Just the grading part is bad thats all.

I think she’s an awesome professor. She’s very organized. I like her teaching style and she gives good lectures!!

She is a very good math teacher because when you are trying to learn math which is very confusing it is awesome to have a good teacher and she is. So take her if you need this class.

She is a great teacher very helpful, but you MUST do the homework to pass the class. She is always willing to help and explain if you dont understand the material. I highly recommend her as teacher, the best!

I found Professor Dhillon to be a very good math teacher. She makes every effort to be available to help outside of class and is constantly trying to get feedback from the classroom. Math is a hard subject for me and while I struggled at times, having taken it as a Hybrid saved me. The online resources really helped.

She is very easy to understand. Her way of teaching is very striaght forward and easy to follow. As long as you do your work and keep up with it you earn the grade you want. She can be funny at times, homework very easy, labs are easy NO hard stuff like doing surveys like other classes & can be done in a hr.I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Ms. Dhillon is a very helpful teacher. I hate math...but she broke it down into bite-sized pieces for me. I took her hybrid class and loved it! The online program she uses is like having a one-on-one tutor for homework... which you can retake as many times as you want btw. She also provides study guides for exams.

Passed with a B, even though math isn't my strongest subject. She was really easy to follow and made this fairly difficult subject easy to understand and fun. There are lots of opportunity for points in this class through labs(super easy), quizes, & tests. Keep up with homework (not graded) & attend class and you will easily pass. Take her for sure

I took this class online....I personally didnt like at all, since we didnt get to much class time....However Mrs.Dhillon make it easy to understand... she is always available during office hours, she get back to e-mail fast. I got a B but it was kind of hard....

This is a college level class and moves very fast.Primarily online content, lectures all videos and not the same person every time,which leads to a lack of continuity.Professor Dhillon is available for help during her office hours,and very rapidly responds to email questions.There are drop in centers for help as well.The Bomb < Professor Dhillon !

i m just taking her class. i found maths to be difficult but the way she teaches, i actually started loving it.

The hybrid class is fast paced but the teacher is really good about helping those who fall behind. She's easy to understand and a great teacher. She drops the lowest exam, quizzes and hw assignments so it gives people some leeway. Don't recommend buying the book for the hybrid class everything is online and it's really expensive just buy the code.

She is very personable and cares deeply for students and Algebra. Hybrid is hard-if you need help in math or don't understand computer classes, take the full class with the teacher. You teach yourself a lot. Tests count for too much of your grade (50% Exams, 30% Final) Homework and quizzes are only 20%. She's great, though. I enjoyed her.

She is very helpful and knows how to teach the material well. I took a hybrid class so much of the material was learned through the system. She covered a lot of the material the two days that we met per week an she would do an outstanding job on trying to make it comprehensible. Pre-cal is simply a hard subject that needs dedication.

This teacher was great.She drops the 4 lost hw, 1 quiz, and 1 exam at the end. Be prepare to work hard. She answer all quesiton. She offers some extra credit that requries going to the board. She goes to her office hours. She really cares for her students. She tries to take in many as possible off the wait list, I was 18 and barely got in.Take Her!

Dhillon is best teacher for statistics,she is very helpful in-class and during office hours.Take her and do the daily assignment and you will earn your grade. I was in the group study and that help me alot to.

I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to be Dhillon's student. You really need to dedicate the time to study for this class. Because of Dhillon I learned to like the study of stats. I didn't get an A in the class, but ONLY because I didn't work for that A like I should have. But she makes it possible for students to earn an A.

One of my favorite teachers at mjc. She is so nice and so helpful. All the homework was online so you always have homework help and know right away if you've done the problem correctly. Grades fairly, and I was never surprised on a test.

I'm not a math person but got a B. She's clear and a good teacher, just do the homework, study, and understand everything as a entire concept. You cant just study one part or for one test, you have to put everything together which Dhillion does help you with! She was fair my only complaint is that the test were too long for so much info.

Professor Dhillon is the best for statistics. she is very kind and helpful. her method is easy to understand. she wold always make sure that everyone understood the concept before moving on. her quizzes are not too easy, and her tests are long and kind of hard, but as long as you have studied you will be ok. take it with her and you wont regret .

Great teacher. All old comments shock me. She doesn't laugh at students. Very helpful and clear with what's expected. D's and C's in HS and got a B in her class. She is the best alg teach I've had in my history of schooling. She jokes around and tests r always way easier than homework.

I took the hybrid class and I thought it was going to be harder than what it was. The teacher explained everything really good!

Dhillon was a really good professor. She was very clear and made sure we always understood everything before she moved on. Very funny. Statistics is a lot of work, but it is doable if you put the time in it. There is a quiz every week and a total of three exams plus a final. The exams are tough and long, but based off of your quizzes. Recommend!

Doing homework and reviewing material everyday is a MUST. Overall she explains math very well and makes it easy to understand.

She explains great and will show you exactly how she expects you to solve each type of problem. Assigns homework sets almost every night. HW is never collected but essential to doing well on the weekly quizzes. Quizzes are based on the HW. Labs are easy if you pay attention to her walkthrough. Exams are long but if you do HW you'll be ok.

Mrs. Dhillon is the easiest statistics professor you will find at MJC. I attempted twice before her with Faris and had no clue what was going on until I went with Dhillon. It was as if both were teaching two totally different subjects.

Dhillon is an amazing professor, she makes stats easy for you to understand. She gives you weekly labs which are not hard, they are a way to earn credit easily and gives you quizzes every Thursday after learning a few sections. There's HW but its never do, its just good practice for your quizzes and exams. She gives 3 exams plus your final.

Professor Dhillon is a great at what she does! You get as much lecture as you can done in class, and then she has videos just in case you did not have a chance to finish the notes in class. Very good teacher.

she is a good teacher, she is been teaching at mjc from last 15 years and she really have things under control. She is highly respected math teacher at MJC. Gives study guides for each exams and exams have the same style, not very picky with little mistakes, very lenient with extending homework due dates, really nice person, take her !!!!!!

Overall she was a great instructor. People who had a hard time with math tended to not really understand what she was explaining to them when they asked for help.

Amazing! Online HW, sometimes a lot but it all serves you as good practice for her weekly online quizzes which you can take up to 3x. 4-5 exams, you get a study guide for each, do these and you will do great on exam b/c they're very similar. Class can be fast paced for some but she will stop and answer questions if needed. Caring and a story teller

Dhillon is a fantastic professor. She is thorough in explaining the material and truly loves to teach it. There is a weekly lab and a weekly quiz so do the homework. There are 3 tests but you get a note card for each one. Easy to understand, enthusiastic, and willing to re-explain/ answer questions. 10/10 would take again.

Dhillon is a solid professor, however, I believe her higher level of intelligence makes it hard to get certain concepts across. My class was hybrid and she always asks if we have questions on the prior night's assignment and then goes over the questions we have, which is great. She's very funny and a cool person.

Shes a very good professor however she tends to get off topic with her stories. Every week there is a quiz, the homework is never collected but to do good on the quizzes its best to do the homework problems. There are labs almost every week but its easy points. Pay attention to her lectures, study, and this course will easy.

If you go to class and never miss the Wednesday supplemental class you will be fine. I never even looked at the homework and had no problem with the quizzes. I never received lower than a B in a quiz and I just studied the night before for a few hours. She gives handouts to practice for all tests. Stats isnt easy but Dhillon by far is the best!

This teacher explains the class very well, it is a lot of homework, do not miss class because she does a lot of content in a single class. It is a class that goes very fast, takes many notes and you will come out well.

Prof. Dhillon is an amazing math teacher, she provides detailed videos you can watch and uses Pearson-my math lab. Very clear on grades and tests are on campus with clear expectations. I would take her again.

I took Dhillon for Stats and I could honesty say that she's such a good instructor. Even though stats is such a complicated subject, her lectures are really descriptive and she tries to clear up every misunderstanding as the problems get more complicated. If you plan on taking this class I suggest you do your homework and don't miss class!

I liked the online video notes, those were very clear and she is very passionate about math. She assigns tons of homework even if it's exam week, and she does take some time to grade which makes it a little hard to know where you need to practice. Great professor but this class was just way too overwhelming and her exam problems don't match HW

Best Stats professor at MJC

Shes a solid teacher for this class. The idea of this hybrid course was simple. Just getting all the homework done over mymathlab and using her helpful recorded videos. In all honesty, mymathlab is a powerful tool for math that she added with her videos. You use these resources and study, study, study and you'll get the grade you want easy.

I thought she was a very good stats teacher. I had her class tues & thur. Every Thursday we either had a quiz or an exam. Before class on Thursdays she has a helping class that really does help. She goes over everything thats on the quizzes. On exams she lets you use a flash card cheat sheet. On the final she an entire page cheat sheet.

The teacher uses videos for her lectures that make it easier to view at your own time. She explains really well and is a great teacher. We have quizzes every Sunday & homework throughout the week thats easy to get 100. If you fail a question you can do a similar problem to get points. The tough part is not being able to use any notes for exams.

I was hesitant on taking Professor Dhillon based off her reviews but she is a great professor! Her lectures are in-depth and she is funny during class and makes an effort to get to know her students! Participation is not necessary, just follow along in class. She records the meetings and posts the notes. She's flexible on her due dates and labs!

She is super nice and genuinely wants you to learn and pass. She is very personable and talks about her family and will ask about you and what you've been up to. Actually made me like stats and I was dreading taking it. She also allows notes on tests to an extent. Overall great professor and would love to have her again.

Attending her lectures is helpful if you want to ask questions, but she does allow you to rewatch the recordings and that is also helpful when doing the homework. The expectations are clear and the work is challenging but she does very well in explaining the problems. She is funny and her lectures are not boring, I actually enjoyed math for once!

Everything in this class is pretty clear. You can take this course either online or in person but in person was really helpful for me. She also has an optional 135 course where she helps you with homework, labs, practice quizzes, or anything else. She doesn't accept late work but she does open assignments you didn't finish before the exam.

Great teacher she lets you go back and re-do any homework you missed or didn't get credit on and her study guides are almost verbatim for what's on the exams. Whenever I didn't understand something in the online program she uses she was always very happy to help. She also lets you use cheat sheets on the exams and final.

Prof. Dhillon is probably one of the best math teachers I've ever had and her MATH101 class was a breeze. She provides many opportunities for homework and test help. I've never been good at math, but this class was easier for me because of her teaching and homework/test help. I love how she allows students to use a sheet of notes for every exam!

I will never regret taking Math 134 Statistics with her, she is a caring teacher very helpful when feeling lost. Get ready to put the work in, your in college so you should be prepare for commitment and dedication. This class is not a one sit task, you have to study but taking notes and highlight important formulas will help you along the way.

Professor Dhillon is a kind instructor who really wants students to learn. The class can be challenging, but her detailed lectures and practice exams are helpful. I found Unstuckstudy to be a useful study tool alongside the textbook.

Best Stats Professor I've taken! I am not the best at statistics but it's a requirement for my major and this professor has made it so easy! I was so far behind in my other stats classes due to the lack of understanding during lectures but this professor has really simplified statistics in such a great way. Also responds so quickly to emails!

Best professor for stats! I didn't do well the first time I took stats and took her class and finished with the grade I wanted. She will help you as much as she can and WANTS you to pass! I recommended her for many of my friends and all have enjoyed her class and did well.

I'm not very good at math and I did well in her course. She allows a half sheet of notes for her exams and a full sheet for the final. The exams themselves were pretty straightforward if you took the time to watch her lectures and take notes. The hw assignments on Pearson can sometimes be a bit of a chore but other than that I highly recommend her!

This class was DIFFCULT for me. But with the help of Professor Dhillon, I was able to understand and get trough STATS. Her videos are very clear and her communication is clear as well. She lets you use sheet of notes on tests, which are very helpful. TAKE NOTES!! Professor Dhillon shows clearly that she wants you to succeed.
