Class is ok if you are a passive learner... Lazy instruction method--just goes over pre-typed notes. Does dissections for you--you watch as he points out specific parts. Study more for lecture tests (larger % of grade). Always asks Q's @ clinical info on tests. Pre-read notes b4 class so that you can call out answers to the random Q's he asks.

Class was hard but professor was fair. He gives you everything you need to succeed in the lecture notes. If you study them you will get an A. There's no excuse when you bomb an exam. You just didn't study.

His lecture notes were organized but when taking lecture tests if you don't get the exact verbiage he has on lecture notes, it will be marked incorrect. His tests are timed. sounds decent right, WRONG. if the test is 99 questions he will give you 90 mins. expects you to answer long questions in less than 10 sec. unrealistic expectations of students

BORRING. MONITONED. The entire time he complained about students not having cameras on and how all of us just come to class and walk away.(using my camera would disconnect me from class) some of us are slow readers and the way he words his quizzes are not straight forward. if you don't finish a quiz he assumes you're cheating. Would not recommend.

Test are heavy. It's either you know it completely or you don't, lot's of questions for the amount of time given. He changes names of anatomy from what is taught in other A and P courses (and the book.) He constantly repeats unnecessary things and is rude because students don't want their mic/ camera on but is gets mad when he hears interference.

His expectations are clear. The class materials are well-organized and easy to follow. The class is challenging (a lot of material to cover) but well worth it. He cares that students have a good foundation. Made flashcards with Anki program covering all the notes and I did well. Hes pretty funny, too.

7 out of 22 students survived. Exams can reach 120+ questions, not including his lab tests (50+). He takes points off for spelling. Lecture exams are based off notes (24-31 pgs each). If you just want to pass, focus on his study guide. But for an A, you also have to study the notes until you can recite even "minor details". Does know his stuff tho

Professor H is kind, compassionate and is genuinely invested in seeing students succeed grade wise - but most importantly, he wants students to actually have learned something in his class. He is a thoughtful person who knows his stuff and makes a seemingly complex subject like anatomy accessible for students - I highly recommend his class.

This course is challenging, with 5 unit exams and 5 lab tests. Punctuality is critical—no late arrivals or disruptions. Success (A or B) requires studying lecture notes at least 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Many students underestimate the workload; only 9 of 23 finished. No curves, no extra credit, and spelling counts. Good luck!
