I only attended half the time just like the professor. If you demonstrate a knowledge of politics and current events he will go easy on you. He even exempted me from the final and gave me an A in the class.

he is the easiest government teacher you can have.i got As from both the government classes..and did not study at all..really easy...you must take it...if you are not fool enough, you can not get a B....only AAAAAAAA....

Probably, the best teacher I've ever had.Very nice,very helpful and above all very interactive.He wants his students to know both sides of the story in the politics.Inorder to get extra credit you should know more about the current events.

Awesome teacher. The first day of class he gave us what was going to be on the tests and said, "Just show up for the tests on the scheduled dates." The tests were simple definitions. I made As in both Govs.Research paper is due at the end of semester. He even exempts the final if you have an A.

Incredibly easy class... he doesn't even show up half the time. Gives handout of "key terms" to study which is EXACTLY the test questions straight out of the text. Brush up on your current event knowledge to answer his random trivia questions and get extra credit points...not that you'll need them!

I loved this class. At first I thought it was going to be real hard. But it turned out to be very informative. Great Teacher. Must take.

Great teacher, took him for both gov 2301 and 2302. Avarage class time is like 5mins. Every once in a while he will have a class that is long and includes him droning on about goverment. But most of the time all you will see on the board is study the review sheet and see you next week. The study sheets are SO EASY he tells you that all you have to know is the little definitions on the sides of the pages listed on the sheet. I got A's in both classes. HIGHLY RECOMMENED

This guy is hot, his class period is so short, his test is just easy. Don't need to spend much time for his class. His review cover all of the test. Highly recommend to take his class.

Majority of the time class is about 30 minutes unless you have someone that loves politics then it can last awhile. Test are not trick because he gives you a review sheet of all the key terms and best part it’s all MULTIPLE CHOICE. Gives a lot of extra credit during the semester; if you have an A after the 2nd test you are exempt from the FINAL.

man!!! it was awesome time in his class. I got 82 first test, and 92 the second one plus doing all extra credit he offered. Then, i dont need to take final. It was double super easy class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Dude!this guy is amazing! All the tests are based on the vocabulary in the book, and he gives u a review with the terms he wants u to know. If u have an average of an A from the two tests(which is very easy to do) u don't have to take the final and ur average is an A. He gives extra credit too that really helps. Its super easy. My fav. prof there!

Just study the study guides and you will do great it's exactly what is on the test.

Overall a very easy class; study terms on study sheet and u are sure to make an A...If grade high enough will exempt you from the final and you still get A. Downfall does not come to class alot; very annoying when you drive from far away and get there and he does not show; especially if this is your only class at that campus.

This man is amazing, everything he gives you to study is on the test, word-for-word.... he usually leaves the classroom during tests too... i didnt show up from spring break til end of april missed a test and he let me retake it.... and a still made an A in the class....

Very nice...loves his government and knows his stuff. Skips some classes so you'll have time to do homework. He gives you a sheet of everthing on your next exam and obeys the sheet.

Great guy. Took him for 2301 and 2302 back to back. Definitely reccommend him and take both courses at the same time. Same book for both. I aced both classes and was exempt from the finals.

I took Mr. Cormello at UHD for POLS if you fail his class or make less than a B you didn't try at all.

this guy is a wonderful teacher i wish all profs could emulate him.gives you all u need for review and brings a miniature. failing isn't an option because you do have everything prior tests .if u make 2 As you're exempt from finals.you will never introspect taking this class keep .the good work Sir.

If you're majoring in government and want to learn something, find a harder teacher. If you're majoring in anything else take this class. You don't even have to show up for the lectures(honestly they'll just confuse you, they don't pertain to the tests). Just make sure you memorize the test reviews and you'll get an A.

All you need to do to pass with an A is to remember some words and the meaning. There are 3 test if you pass the first 2 with an A you automaticly pass!

If your REALLY interested in learning government, I wouldn't suggest taking this professor. Real easy class, just know the vocabulary and you'll pass all the tests he gives out. He gives you a vocabulary sheet so don't worry to much. Other than that, he knows his stuff.....just doesn't know how to teach it in my opinion.

Mr. Comello is a pretty cool teacher. He is very knowledgeable about the subject matter, but if you are looking to be challenged to the hilt, you probably want to look at taking this class with someone else.

he is a very understanding teacher.Government is a forgetable subjevt,everybody knows that .that's why he chooses the most important terms that we need to know.I love him not because its easy but the fct that he understands what is useful and what is not.

You must know he is super easy. I took two government clsses at same time and took As. STUDY REVIEW,that's all to get A.Really i didnt study anything from the classes, but Govt is always very hard and boring, taking his class is the best choice.

I have no respect for those who are writing dirt about Comello. Like every other class you will learn as much as you want to. He does make it easy by giving you a review/assignment to study. Everything on the tests were in the review. I didn't need the book. He's not strict on attendance. The haters need to chill on him.

It's not hard at all to get through the class with an easy A if you follow the direction and study the terms. The teacher is nice and also helpful. I admit I was a little worried bout my grade b/c I failed my first test... Studing all those terms and additional information that was given and to only hv a test on half of it was challenging..he was just preparing you for a university studying like..I made an A.. U will hv to study...

I took his class in Spring. There were three exams including the final, one paper essay. He did reviews before each exams. If you came to class before exam days, you should know what to study for exams. The paper research was 25 percent of your total grade. He expected the perfect MLA style on this paper. Attendance wasn't strict.

I think he has college teaching style. Students have to read materials, have questions and come to class discuss. It's your responsible for coming to class, he doesn't take attendance. 2 exams, a final, a research paper. Each are 25% of total grade. Not easy, not hard, most are covered in chapters he tells you to study. Did review before each exam.

Do not expect this to be like a high school class. His teaching skills are like most college professors lets you know whats on exams and your prepare on your own. A total of 3 exams including the final, and a research paper. Is not strict in attending class but you should he covers all information on test in class.

Easy class. Mr. Comello will tell you what's on the test. All you have to do is study and you will pass. He's very clear and tells you what he wants and what he expects. He grades you off 3 tests (including final) and an essay. Follow the guidelines for the essay and you will get a good grade. Overall, very straight-forward.

He appears to have years of experience as a teacher. He does not hide behind a mask; he shows his true colors. His class is as hard as you make it.

At first I didn't want to take this class because of the negative comments but I must say Mr. Comello was easy to me. I took both Govt 2305 & 2306 at the same time. All you need to study is key terms and he tells you which ones to study. It's just 3 test and a paper. The only thing I found difficult was the paper. Made a B in 2305 & A in 2306.

Super easy class. Just study power points and you will pass the three tests with an easy A. The research paper is not difficult at all. I really recommend this professor.

He is very straight forward about grading. Took a couple of tests, which he always reviews what will be on the test. Which you will pass if you actually study. He doesn't want you to show up if you're late. People think he's rude, but he is just blunt about what he expects out of you. Super-easy-class, take his!!

Professor Comello is a good instructor. He is very forward and clear. He makes the class easy, but you have to read your book in order to pass. Also don't be late he will drop you or not let you in.

Taken this professor for the fall semester 2018 and it was a great choice. He gives you the words you need to study for each exam and gives you help on the essay you have to write. Make sure to study well because the tests and essay is the only grades he takes for the entire semester.

Had this professor twice. Great instructor, easy to comprehend, repeats what you need to know multiple times until exams to make sure material is memorized. Highly recommended and very easy to get your credit

He is a very awesome professor and his class is very straight forward. I took both of his GOVT classes and got both As. 4 grades, 3 tests and 1 essay. All you have to do is study and you will pass. He gives out the key terms that you need to study that will be on the test and it will be word for word. The essay does take some research but its easy!

Professor Comello is one of the best professors I've ever come across, he's very compassionate and understanding.

Really nice professor! Class only consisted of 3 exams & 1 essay. Exams were just about definitions to terms from the chapters (he tells you which terms to study). Hello. Coming from a young adult (18) I can tell you to TAKE THIS CLASS! So chill and understanding.

I took this course while working full time we only had a few assignments I only received a B due to missing discussions which you cant make up other than that if you do your work youre guaranteed to pass. This instructor is passive considering I was in a online course we only communicated one time at the end of the class. He works with you.

Hes distant considering I only took him online but if you do your work you will pass! Few assignments and I missed some discussions thats why I made a B I couldve easily gotten a A in this course. Your success depends on you! Hes great though Id take him again! Will let you make up work considering circumstances.

One of the easiest classes i have ever taken. he tells you exactly what is going to be on the test so as long as you study you will pass. no homework at all and there is only one paper for the entire semester and as long as it makes sense you'll get a good grade, he knows its not an english class where writing has to be perfect. TAKE HIS CLASS!!

He is best of all. Just take him. Two essays, five discussions, four exams and you are good to go. Grades so easily.

He is so prepared and well organized for his things to be posted for the upcoming due dates. Keeps on reminding for homework.

This professor is literally AMAZING. I got a 100.25 in his class, and words really can't explain how good of a teacher he is. I had problems with my internet the day we had an essay due, and he told me to email it whenever I was ready. I gave it to him, and he gave me a 100! He is really such an understandable guy and has ALL my respect.

took him spring 2021. Super easy professor. 5 discussions (1 paragraph for each) 2 big paper assignments, 2 exams and 1 final. SUPER EASY. You can literally google ever answer. Im taking him again for govt 2.

Easy class if taken online. We only did 2 essays that are easy to write about, he's not a heavy grader. We only did our study guide questions he provided and he would give weeks (2-3) to complete some for a certain chapter and we would use them for our tests that were easy to pass as well. He also gave extra credit chances.

Take this professor for any history class! Read the literature , participate in class discussion and tests are straight from power points, readings and quizlet. Does not have lots of HW. Class plan is well put out for you to do good. Fast responder on email as well. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this class. Professor Comello requires you to participate in informative discussions, 2 exams throughout the semester that are not proctored and a final paper. He is clear on what his expectations are. I would absolutely recommend him!

This is an easy class, we do study guide questions once a week and an open book exam every month. Only one essay that he does not grade hard at all, discussion posts every now and then. A super easy class I definitely recommend.

This is the second time I took professor Comello. I enjoyed his structure from GOV 2305 and it carried on to 2306. He requires one book, all of the quiz answers are in the book. You are also required to participate in discussions, as well as 3 exams and 1 final. Doesnt require lockdown browser, and hes understanding. TAKE HIM!

Easiest professor I've ever taken. All his grades consist of discussion boards every couple of weeks, some tests, and one essay. Very easy grader with the essay and also gives you the chance to submit early to receive feedback. Tests are open note so you'll have no problem finding the answer. Took him for both gov classes and I don't regret it

Took class for summer, & it was super easy! Only reason I got a B+ was because I slacked off on a test If I had not, my grade would be an A! 3 tests 1 essay! Not a tough essay grader. Tests are based solely on the chapters he asks you to read, very easy. He also provides questions to answer with the chapters. He uploads the book to canvas for us!

gives textbook chapters in pdf for modules. there are discussions every week and only 3 tests no lockdown if you use google, you'll get an A. awesome easy class I actually did learn quite a bit. One essay and it wasn't difficult.

This class will be the easiest one you could ever take. There is only one essay assignment and all lectures are essentially doing easy notes for each chapter in the textbook, you do not get in trouble for not attending class as long as you do well on your tests, and the tests are just all definitions from your notes.

This professor is chill, you do need a textbook for this class. The exams are mostly covered about at least 5 to 4 chapters each on the exams, thats why you need to pay attention. Exams have about 50 question. There is one essay to do, which he takes that more seriously.(DO THE OUTLINE BEFORE DUE DATE) Over all, he is cool, chill. Take him!

I took Professor Mr. Harold Raymond Comello Jr. For Fall Semester 2024)online anytime) Only nine assignments matter in the course and they're all graded. That includes an essay, discussions and exams. Reading is mandatory in this government course.

Just do your discussion posts and short research paper. Exams are just a bunch of random Quizlet questions, and they are not proctored. Discussion post are supposed to be controversial, but they just become an echo chamber and lots of "I agree" responses. You can return the textbook, you dont need it.

The course is very fact heavy, and the professor does a great job helping you get the information you need. The papers and discussion are graded fairly as he makes it clear what he is looking for.

Best teacher ever...clear expectations. One major paper and he will look at it before you turn it in make suggestions. You research court cases. Took both Gov 2305 and 2306 same format. Easy A+

Would definitely recommend this professor he is awesome and gives great feedback. Had a few quizzes and discussion posting which were not hard. Also have to complete a research paper at the end of the semester which he provided feedback on before due date allowing time for corrections. Definitely cares about student success. 10/10
