he is into teaching and enjoys his job, should have more teachers like him, take him for a course.

This man will do just about anything to help a student ranging from getting them notes, a free tutor for the coure and even re-do an exam if the student approaches the man with a descent attitude.

This sun of a gun doesn't play games. If you take his class, expect to study. Don't watch the clock, and expect to have a full book of notes by the end of the semester. His class is very entertaining and praticle. He is probably the best psych. instructor at CCC.

He was so much fun! He gives you EXACTLY what you need to know for the test, no ****. He gives tons of examples and a study guide of everything that will be on the test. He's not a book teacher, so all you need is a notebook and pen. I HIGHLY recommend him. He's GREAT

His class is not the easiest.You really have to pay attention and take good notes.NO SKIPPING!His test come right from the notes..no trick questions. He uese life experiences to convey the infromation...this might not seem like it's relavent to psych,but if u take higher level psych it really is

He is great. Very caring, understanding and helpful. If anything I had him for general psych, have him now for abnormal and would take him for any other class related to that area.

Had him for two psych. classes. Learned so much. Very interesting. The stories and movies help me remember. Most helpful and interested in his students. Just be sure to follow the rules and pay attention. Doesn't take any bull.Woul love to take another class from him.

Benny is the chillest teacher you'll ever meet. He is good at relating with his younger students and is always upbeat and funny. He breaks down the information into it's simplest form, and relates it to life experiences.

I LOVE BENNY!!! he's so cute and so funny! i've almost peed my pants in his class from laughing so hard!! the whole first month of his classes you have to learn the 'benny language' as i like to call it. but once you figure out what he's saying you'll remember everything! yeah he's hard but if you're not willing to do his work than don't bother!

I feel bad for not having rated him sooner than now, I took his class 2 years ago. I would say that if you don't want to study and pay attention, don't sign up for his class. His class was a blast, but not for someone who doesn't do well on essay exams, or for the student who wants to whiz by without hard work. Would def. take him again! Go Benny

There is a method to his madness!!! His unique style of teaching helps to reinforce the concepts taught. The key is to have an open mind. Also, be prepared to have tired hands... there's alot of note-taking and it is very fast paced. It's been 2 years since I took his class and I still remember AND USE alot of what he taught me.

I learned more from him in a semester than I learned from any of my professors throughout obtaining my advanced degrees.

Dont look at the clock, dont be late, dont zone out. Great guy tho, I still keep in touch with him after my days at corning are over. Learned a lot, took four classes with him, he is a legend. Admitted he thought i was a goof off in the beginning but he said i misjudged you and I was going somewhere in life. Influential

I learned more in this class than I learned anywhere. He made me work hard but it felt good to do well. His class is not just about psychology. It's about life. Your experience at CCC will be much more rewarding if you take his class.

My classes with Benny were the highlight of my college career. I learned so much about psychology and life in general. He inspired me in so many ways. I will admit I was completely freaked out by his approach, but was amazed in the end what I got out of it.

Benny is a riot. He makes psychology fun for even those who aren't interested in the subject. His classes are so easy to pass if you just do the work, he gives you everything you need to get an A.

Very helpfull teacher! I love Benny... he will try his best to make sure you get a good grade, offers LOTS of extra credit and doesnt critique your essays in a bad way, if you put an effort towards it and typed extra you will get a good grade. HIGHLY RECOMENDED, this is my 2nd class with Benny

Benny is an amazing teacher. I absolutely loved his class and can't wait to take more classes with him. If you are going to take a class of his be prepared to put forth the effort NOTES ARE REQUIRED!! If you show up pay attention and take notes the class is fairly easy.

stumbled upon this and had to add my comments, even though I took benny's class 30+ years ago, he was my most MEMORABLE professor ever! Immensely entertaining, and I still remember and quote things he said in class.

Took this class online. He's a great grader and gives credit just for attempting certain assignments. The assignments are clear cut and easy as long as you read the chapters! Easily one of the top five best teachers at CCC.

I loved Benny. A lot of students don't like him because they don't think that he is relevant with his stories at all, but honestly he just uses them to grab your attention and to keep you focused on what he's saying. He repeats himself for the same reason. It was hard to comprehend at first, but if you really focus, it begins to make more sense.

This instructor is amazing! He's thorough! He gives the absolute best feedback ever! Highly recommend him and taking more of his courses as electives

Very great and knows that he's talking about. He's funny and makes learning fun. Benny, his name as know by students, his caring. He's always giving great and meaningful feed back.

I took his online class and it was set up super easy with clear grading, due dates, etc. He gave tons of extra credit points which helped by exempting you from the final. It was the perfect class to take online.

Benny is so funny and will make your class enjoyable. I will never forget the material because he adds in real life stories so you can better apply the material to life situations. He loves teaching and it shows which is nice. He really tries to help everyone do well. BEWARE if you are shy, he WILL call you out!! but you will get used to it!

Having worked in human services for more than 15 years, I can tell you from experience, Benny's lessons will last for years. A lot of what I was taught my him, I use to this day when writing treatment plans or counseling a patient. Helpful hint, go talk to him during office hours. He'll really help you out a lot if you show a desire to learn!

Met Benny in 1971. Taught Western Civ. then. Taught WC the same way he does psych. Took 2 sems. Best courses and teacher in all my college years. Greatly influenced my thinking. Made me work, gained my confidence. Became a great friend! Funny, great insight, dead serious. Im the Bob in his Pink Floyd and pinching butts in the bars stories. lol
