THIS GUT DOESN'T SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH AND HE'S A ENGLISH PROFESSOR.
I don't even uderstand any words he says. Doesn't explain very clearly and very boring class.
OMG.. can this class be more boring. All i can understand him.. is "I'm soorrry" or "too bad".

His marking is retarded! In the beginning of the semester no matter what he won't give A's. Tends to raise every students marks as the semester goes on so he thinks hes a decent teacher. Not clear at all students always confused and he gets frustrated.

Half of you people can't even spell or show some comprehension of grammer! Mabye it's the reason you went through the class, or even possibly the reason why you can't understand him. Geez... I came in here by accident... very frustrating...

Worst teacher at Seneca. Whoever rated him 5/5 is stupid. I did well in his class, and will still give an honest rating. HE SUCKS. HE CANT MARK. And worst part he doesnt under stand anything you say to him. wasted my time... I think I could teach this course better than he can. SAD very SAD.

He is the reason why Seneca has a bad name. He is one of the worst teachers I have ever had in my life. I learned more in pre school. I could learn more by sitting in a corner looking at the wall. HARRY you suck... I hope you read this ! QUIT teaching your not helping students.

some students can find that he is a strict teacher, but he is not like that. you can easily pass if you show some effort.

Attended one class and had to drop it right away. Very unclear and very unfriendly. Give out test on the first day and expect you to read a short story, write minumum 500 word essay and answer 20 questions in 40 mins.

this professor is the worst i have had in seneca. I dread coming to his classes and learn nothing when i come out. He brags too much about his PhD and hates chinese students for some weird reason even though he is chinese. Overall-picking his classes are not recommended.

He is worst teacher I have ever seen before. Almost half of the students drop the course in the midterm. Most of the students getC or D.I don't understand why he takes so serious in a Gel course, he has many homeworks than any other courses, if you take his course, you will think EAC394 is very easy, He is so proud of his PHD,even he has nothing
He does not understand the students, even they have emergency, you will really piss off when you are talking to him, One more thing, he does not like CHINESE students, even he was a CHINESE before
He got a very bad accent of Chese English, and speak very unclearly and a very low voice. He is incompetent to be a teacher who arrange his class in a bad way. He even asked us to write two paragraphs of 500 words within 8 minutes which would be parts of our final mark because he lost the control of his class. He discriminates students obviously.

Brags about his PH.D but says its nothing.. likes to grade you infront of the class saying if you failed and what to improve on..=| and says everyone likes it that way.. which the whole class didnt like but he still did it anyway. NOT CLEAR WITH INSTRUCTIONS.. DROP the course.. get a different prof
Don't EVER take a course with this man. He is not easy to understand due to his accent, and he has no idea how to teach. Don't get me wrong he is a very intelligent man but he doesn't know how to TEACH. He is never clear about what he wants and expect a little too much from his students. Harry does not care to listen to his students at all.
Worst Prof every. He is very active around Non-Chinese students. Change the course if you don't want to waste your money + time. He expect his fellow Asian student to compile with his PH.D standard, or else you are just a piece of crap in his eyes. Never try to associate with him because he is not the person who is willing to HELP.

He knows alot of stuff, but the only problem he has is his verbal communication, sometimes its hard to understand him, but on the other side you can learn alot of things from him if you really care to learn, after all experience is always a real teacher and good learning experience too. Give him a try.
I think every one is taking him personally just because of his communication skills, it takes alittle while to understand his teaching method, but once you are on the track you will bring atleast B+. Harry is a horrible teacher. He wastes so much time on mundane tasks and gives pointless assignments. But if you learn what he wants and how to do exactly what he wants with absolutely no creativity of your own you will get a good mark his class.

He is a good teacher. You can improve your writing with his help. You can also get good marks if you attend his class and finish his assignment. Try it.
Harry was a little hard to follow sometimes. He really wants his students to succeed so he really breaks down what you need. The simple truth is, show up(on time), do the work, and you will learn and pass. He does not like to repeat himself and will ramble when people come in late.
He is willing to help you in his own way, he wants his students to succeed. harry is a very confusing man most of the time and it is not always easy to follow him. He offers plenty of time to do the required work for the course with re-writes to improve marks. He may frustrate you if short on patience. A bonus is his textbook is super cheap.

Very helpful gives you so many chances and hepls you to improve yourself. You can have an appointment to meet him in his office and study as long as you want. I would give him 4 out of 5.

Absolute terrible professor. Worst I have had in all of seneca, doesn't help with assignments, and doesnt give out chances to be better. Not very clear at all. Not friendly, and will discriminate against you because of a faulty error. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COSTS.
The worst professor, I have ever seen... How come he can be english teacher? may be he is good for beginners only. He is not professional and organized at all. My advice, do not choose this guy, otherwise you will regret.
Harry is a great professor. He is 100% available to help. Yes his class assignment are a bit too much, but that way you will improve your writing skills. He is also a very patient and humble person. He give everyone a chance to do the assignment multiple times till you improve. I recommend him.
He is a good teacher. What you really need is just go to class regularly and write essays. The highest point that he gives is around B
If ur assignment pass due... U won't get a good mark!!! Or u have to do double/ triple of the assignment if u skip a class while others ppl do the regular

This Teacher demonstrated a good personal character, however his teaching style is a complete mess. He is never clarify regarding how he marks his grades and never shown us instruction to an assignment or presentation. In the first class, he stated that " Some of you guys think you can teach better than me ". Now i can say, " i can ".
If English is not your first language, you don't pick this class. This professor's major is English; he has study English for decades, but his 80s' ideas on English hasn't changed at all. Horrible teacher, he never presents lecture during class. Sometimes worse, he showed us the format of assignment after we submitted the assignment.
Very rude prof. He need some mental treatment. English is not his first language. He ask you to write lots of things, however he will check just one out of your all work. In result, only students do hard work and prof. just mark B- or C- on basis of 1 work.
Go to his first class, and you will know why this is the worse choice you make in your college life.

He is such a useless professor I have ever seen in my entire life. Maybe I could teach him some English for free. he cannot even pronounce English words and students never understand anything. I don't know why everyone is silent. It's such a shame for Seneca for hiring such a professor. I regret being in this class.
