WICKED teacher, best teacher i ever had. really knows what hes talking about, and is passionate about it. just know your stuff when the test comes, thats for sure. makes class relatively fun, all-around great teacher

EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! MADE ME LOVE HUMAN PERFORMANCE, SO I ENDED UP TAKING MORE CLASSES WITH HIM!! HE IS EXTREMELY AN EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! I LOVE HIS TEACHING BECAUSE HE MAKES U WANNA LEARN!!!!!!

This guy is simply the best instructor I've had in my 2 years at Langara. Whether it's a 1 hour course or a 2 hour course, he'll keep your attention. If he ever loses his job as an instructor, he'll have no problem making $$$ as a comedian.

He tells you basically what's going to be on test so it's nice to be prepared. I liked him but he must think we're all stupid sometimes because during class he asked (& wanted answers) to REALLY EASY questions, so it kinda felt like kindergarten at times

He's an awesome teacher. Everything he talks about is on his tests. Didn't like sitting in the front though. He had a tendency to ask the class a question, sneak up behind me and smack me on the back asking me for the answer. Lol. Great class though!

Hes not hot I dont know why people are saying that, hes like 200 years old. But he is in great shape for his age. He knows what hes talkin about, tests are easy as long as you study the text and lecture material. Hes interesting and he has a great sense of humour. I recommend him.

he's just great ! i had no interest in what i had taken, and i had no background, and with the way he teaches, i was actually interestead and i also liked his class, if you can take a course with him, do it !

Great prof, great course. good sense of humour, tests were fair, study the notes and text obviously and you'll do fine. No need to worry being called on to answer a question if you're a guy, he seems to fancy young girls, not in a ****ed way, he just picks on them more than guys. its quite funny

He rocks, he's really smart, and his exams are directly from his notes. I barely opened my text and still got an A. Just take good notes and you'll be fine. He seems kind of **** towards women, but I'm pretty sure he's not serious about it.

he literally tells you EXACTLY what is on the test the day before. He'll even tell you the exact questions for about a quarter of the exam. hes awesome easy and veyr interesting.

His class is fun and very interesting. He gets mad when you skip his classes. He won't go over things again if you skip. Stay in class and take good notes. Good notes = A if you study. Bad notes = D if you don't study and slack off

great teacher for 1100, really knows his stuff, but for 2252 he's so uneducated about things! talks and talks and talks all class and your notes are almost worthless as they sometimes contradict the text or everything is already in the text.2252=text book relied 1100=all notes tests for 2252 long but kinda easy, 1100, straight forward.

Brilliant Teacher. He really knows his stuff. Very clear and easy to understand. My favorite teacher in HKIN. Exams were a little harder than expected but that's the way it goes.

Pretty cool teacher. Very easy going and clear about each topic. Speaks a little fast sometimes but overall very interesting. The analogies he uses are pretty helpful. Looking forward to taking other classes that he teaches.

A little hard of hearing so speak up! Other than that this class is great and super easy.

Very easy going and approachable teacher. His tests are 150 MC (100% out of the book), and are not overly challenging. Highly recommend.

He is very knowledgeable, and is quite thorough in explaining the topics. He gives you an outline of each exam before the exam day. They have proven to be extremely helpful in focussing study. The exam questions are fair. If you study what he asks, even just moderately, you have no reason not to get a really high mark. Take notes on everything.

I really enjoyed this class. Dr Lenvoy is a great teacher and as long as you pay attention in class and participate the class is a breeze! I'm looking forward to more classes with him in the future

it's DR. Lenvoy and I'm honored to have learned from him. By far the wisest prof in the hkin department. He teaches from the heart and not for pocket book if you get what i mean. It was nice finally to learn from a non-loser ! read the text ,you will do fine

He is a very good lecturer! Has a ton of training in his field. I would take another Kinesiology course, even just to have him as a teacher!!

Respected professor in his field. Spent lots of his outside class time talking to me about nutrition, supplements, and a specific sport I had lots of questions about. Not easy prof but Very down to earth and passionate about sports. I really respect him as a prof and a person.

BEST PROF I HAVE EVER TAKEN. Dr. Lendvoy was amazing, i swear he''s such an amazing instructor, he teaches very clearly and well. You just got to listen, take notes and study. 4 exams each worth 25%, and very straight forward. He's a nice person too. I would def. take all my future class w/ him if he taught them

Dr. Lendvoy really knows his stuff. I really respect this instructor becuase he really makes the material easy to comprehend. By far the best instructor i have encountered. I highly recommend him! his tests are straight forward and nothing too tricky. His Lectures are always fun to attend as well.

Very fascinating class! Learned many cool things. Hardly ever used the txtbook because the instructor's lectures were so good! He Made the material easy to comprehend. Dr. Lendvoy is truly an amazing instructor! Study his notes/handouts & you'll do great! Exams were straight forward & short answers only.

Honestly my favourite professor at Langara, Wish I could take every class with him. His teaching style is amazing! His lectures were so fascinating. Highly Recommended!

Harry is wonderful! Lectures were always interesting and he is always willing to go over something again if you don't understand. His tests require attendance and diligent learning of class material. But otherwise very fair.

His lectures were insightful and I really enjoyed his teaching style. The four 25% tests are straight from the notes taken during lectures so attendance is necessary to pass. Pretty funny guy too :)

Good teacher with semi-dry lectures. He explains everything very thoroughly, but for the 2 hours classes he teaches there is no break in between, so it gets a little bit hard to listen to him for 2 hours straight. Theres not much class engagement, but the lecture he gives are easy to understand.

The info he gives out is crystal-clear and easy to process. I didn't have to use the textbook too often because his lectures were usually so clear. He prepares students well for his exams. Take good notes and review regularly and you should have no problems, only solutions. Definitely recommend!

His exams were tough but straight forward. You really need to know the information. Short answers and fill in the blank only. Never received a low of a grade as I did from his exams but it was a smack to study smarter, not harder. Prior kinbio knowledge will greatly help.

Harry is the man!! Have took a number of classes with him and I have no complaints about him. He should give breaks in between classes because they can get pretty boring. Other then that, he is a fair grader, knowledgeable, and approachable. Overall, contemporary health was an interesting class. His 150 long MC questions are based off the textbook.

Dr. Lendvoy is a very knowledgable prof! There aren't many tests or assignments; a midterm, paper, and final. Both tests 150 MC on content he's covered in class including the textbook, so keeping up with readings are a must. He makes everything clear and anything he mentions is simple to understand. He's an excellent prof!

The most intelligent teacher in the kins department . Limited number of exams but worth alot . I had two courses with him and no complaints . Excellent teaching and very helpful

Harry is a very knowledgeable teacher and is enjoyable to learn from. He's very old-school, however, and still uses an overhead projector. His notes are pretty straightforward, as well as his tests. PS - dude looks like Mr Burns from the Simpsons.

He is very knowledgable however his tests are really hard. You have to understand everything from his notes or else you can't get a high mark. He don't use online d2l.

Harry is a wonderful professor, such a bright personality as he's always smiling and has a pretty good sense of humor. Teaching wise he is phenomenal. He breaks down all the tough concepts and makes it easy to understand. He's a fair marker since he gives part marks. Oh and he tells you exactly what's going to be on the exam a week beforehand.

Go to class, take lots of notes. First midterm (25%) is tough (best mark in class was 76%) but gets easier. Don't study all of the material in the text; instead use it as a reference to what he mentions in class. ie if he talks about it in class look it up in the textbook. 1 research paper (10%) that is easy marks, 1 lab exam (30%) and final (35%)

Overall really good prof! the class is tough and the midterm was difficult. Pay attention to detail, attend every class and read topics in the text to get a better idea of what he is teaching in class. You defiantly have to work hard for a good grade.

Harry is a wonderful prof and incredibly knowledgeable. Write down everything he says - its all testable, however he focuses on main concepts. Cross reference what he says in class with the textbook. Youll need to work hard to get an A because you need to know the material. I would definitely take again- his tests are straightforward.

Super smart and laid back. harry pulls up late, takes out his projector slides from like 1955 and drops some knowledge. He knows what he is talking about and is super clear as to what to expect on the next midterm. 4 midterms worth 25% each and no assignments, go to every class and take good notes and you will do well. PS do not buy the text

Harry's 2252 class was interesting. Not many assignments, a research paper worth 30%, a midterm and final both with 150 MC questions worth 35%. Make sure you keep up with the readings because all the exam questions are based from the textbook. Doesn't use d2l. You should be able to get a B or over as long as you try.

Dr. Lendvoy uses the old school approach of printed handouts from textbooks and slides on a projector. Doesnt use online resources like Brightspace/D2L. He only discusses things you need to know - if you show up to class and take notes, collect all the handouts, and read the parts of of his textbook that he calls for, youll do just fine.
