(Received A) He is interested in the subjects he teaches. He is more concerned that students can put together a well thought out business plan as opposed to pass a multiple choice tests, therefore he gives very specific test reviews and the tests are rather easy as well. The group business plan & individual paper are also graded rather generously.

Really good professor gives you a lot of opportunities to pass the class. very clear he cares for the student. two exams one oral group presentation which is a piece of cake and it worth a looooot of points one papaer and one extra credit paper.. what else you can ask in a class???

Mr. Schwartz is a great teacher. He is very orgainized and tells you exactally what to expect minute by minute in every class. There is a paper and a group debate, but he is easy going about length and presentation. I got an A on both. I will take this teacher again if I can! Highly recommended!

This is a really good teacher especially for a hard subject. Everything was clear. He printed out VERY detailed review sheets for the exam. He also cares about his students. There are three case papers - two individual and one you present as a group.

This is fantastic professor, he made the subject super easy, yes there were 3 big group (10 people in 1 group) papers, presentation and 2 exams but with the large group it was breeze and the exams were really easy, he does not want students to memorize whole book so he does a thorough reviews. Awesome Prof..two easy exams, two papers and a group project. Gives review sheet for exams that u need to know. Exams are super easy. He is strict about grading paper. Group project is fun. Great class. 2 exams which are really easy if you study the review, a group project and paper which are graded fairly. Lectures are kinda boring but not that important since he gives such a through review. I will be taking more of his classes.

Great teacher. Older, very sweet man. He knows a lot & is very knowledge. Current events every class but were actually interesting to listen to. Mid-term & final are overwhelming at first because it's 9 chpts but he does a very thorough review before both. Attendance & current events are taken for a grade. Will definitely take again!

Took him for personnel admin. One of the best teachers @ FAU. Knowledgeable man but doesn't try to overwhelm you on tests. Tests are extremely easy and he gives a thorough review. Mr. Schwartz is awesome. I can't say it enough times. I was intimidated by other teachers in the business program, because the program is pretty tough. Mr. Schwartz makes things crystal clear and I love going to his classes.

This is by far the easiest professor I ever had. Subject in my opinion is pretty much common sense. The majority of course is focused on group project. Mid-term and final are super easy. Schwartz tells you exactly what will be on test page per page! Super organized (you will know what I mean..lol) Oh & best part is you always leave early!

I love professor Schwartz!!! He is such a wonderful teacher! The class is comprised of 2 papers, 1 group project, & 2 tests. The papers are very long. Global is a very difficult course but if you take it with Schwartz it will be a breeze! He seems like a strict man but is very sweet and understanding! You will definitely learn a lot. He is a very effective professor. When he says he will grade a major project of yours in five days, it will be graded in five days. He expects you to care about the class, in return he cares about you 100%. He listens to you if you are correct on something he might have made a mistake on. He is extremely fair. I would take him for any class!

Very effective class. Normally online classes are pretty boring but Professor Schwartz outlined the class to do a few different projects one involving a group of students that turned out to be a great learning experience. He is more interested in us applying our knowledge of the material versus memorizing things from the book. Wonderful teacher!

Good professor. I took his online class; he expects participation. There is a large group project but it's split into groups of 8-9 so the workload is reasonable. There are about 6 quizzes throughout the semester, a few papers and assignments, but he's a fair grader. I'd recommend his class.

He's a very intelligent professor, probably the smartest @ FAU. The group project is a pain, but the rest of the world is easy. He posts examples of what he looks for on his papers, which serve as an easy guide when doing them. He goes over exactly what will be on the tests. Make notecards. You'll do fine in this class as long as you put in effort.

Excellent class. All the tools are provided. I took the class online it was more fun that I expected. Professor respond emails right away. Quizes are very simple and major part of grading. This class is a must if you want to become an entrepreneur .. like me.

The expected workload was intimidating at first but Professor Schwartz maintained great control of the online course and kept us on pace and engaged. I had personal illness issues and Professor Schwartz was very flexible with my assignment submissions. The subject matter was interesting and working with Professor Scwartz was great!

Really fun class. Group project is really helpful to your grade if you put the work into it. Test are pretty hard and cover lots of material. Professor Schwartz was very organized. You knew exactly when assignments were due and when test would be well in advance. He gives good test reviews which is very helpful in studying for test. Lectures were often interesting and with the group projects it made it easier to meet and get know some classmates.

He gives a study guide that includes all the questions on the exam. Use the test review study guides and you wont need the book.

Global Strat onine: Professor Schwartz is a GREAT professor. Make no mistake, you will WORK in this class....a lot! That being said, you have all the tools, resources and support you could ever need from the professor and earning a good grade is totally realistic. The class seems like a lot of work but harrry is worth it. the paper consists of answering questions regarding an article in the book and the group project is simple. his 2 tests are cake if you go to review. lectures are pointless for exams but he takes roll. This is my second time taken this professor and I absolutely LOVE HIM! I strongly recommend taking him for this course and Entrepreneurship. Both courses require a lot of writing and a group project. But he is an easy grader, gives crystal clear directions and is always willing to help. You MUST buy the book and bring it with you to his exam review

So I took this class during the summer (6 week term) and it's alot. 2 tests, 2 current events, 3 papers and one of which is a group paper and presentation. Tough grader, probably should have been an english professor. You will need the book for the review's.

Huge group project, with at least two papers. I took him for summer, a lot of work, but WELL WORTH IT. He is available, cares to help and work with you. Provides review for tests and tells you exactly what is needed for papers. Can talk a little too quiet during class, but is easy to follow.

Prof. Schwartz teaches for the love of the profession. He is there for his students. I took his class right before graduation and I can tell you he prepares you for the business world. He syllabus is the most elaborate I ever had at FAU. He sets the standard, gives assignments and gives constructive feedbacks from spelling to content. Recommend him

Very helpful in his office hours, if you can find him. Grades the papers a bit harshly, takes points off for things that seem unnecessary. I went to his office for help on all my papers and still got between 89-93 on all of them. There are things on the exams that aren't in the book so good luck but if you put effort into everything you'll be fine

Prof. Schwartz is exact, clear, willing to help, and very particular when it comes to exam reviews ( a positive) and completing assignments. He is very courteous. If extra time is a necessity to complete an assignment, he will work with you. Get the book. Expect to work hard and put in quality work.

This class was an easy A. Quizzes were straight from the book, a few discussions, one individual research paper and a group project. Group project was difficult considering it was fully online so it was hard to get people to meet up. Professor Schwartz always replied promptly and was there if you needed any help. Took online. He is very organized. Quizzes are easy. Just take notes of definitions/titles of each subheading into Word and use control F to locate your notes quicker when taking your open book quiz online. Group project was a little hard since our class was online. Tip: make a group chat on whatapp to better communicate with other members

The class seemed dreadful at first with two individual (kinda lenghty) papers, a super long group project and midterm and final exams but professor Schwartz actually will tell you upfront how to get an A on everything. He tells you almost exactly what's on the exams based on textbook and course document and to simply follow the paper criteria.

not only a really great guy but a really caring and understandable professor. the big group project that every one talks about, for the final version my group didn't realize our due date due to covid changes and when i told him 2 days past due date that we did not have it done, he gave an extra full week to complete it with no penalty. loved him!!!

The class isn't very workload heavy at all. You have quizzes spread out through the semester that are open notes and open book. Aside from that you have 2 papers, one individual and one group. The group one, because of the pandemic, had to be done in a group chat instead of in person. Papers weren't difficult, class should not overwork you at all.

Professor Schwartz is an extremely knowledgeable professor. He would always begin the class by talking to us about our business articles. Unlike many professors, he actually knows what is going on in the business world. There are 3 important papers in this class and bi-weekly quizzes. If you ever need clarifications for a paper, he will help you!

Very solid choice for a class that doesn't have too much work . I did it fully online during COVID-19. There were a few open note and open book quizzes, 2 papers, an individual project and group project had to be done in a group chat instead of in person cuz of COVID. Would take again, the professor's very kind and helpful when needed!

Schwartz is a very good professor. However, in his old age, his ability to teach is declining. Many times during class did he apologize for not grading the papers as he had trouble reading them. He is a very nice and knowledgeable professor, it is just that he is old and has difficulty adapting to technological advancements. Its time to hang em up.

Schwartz is a great professor. Probably one of my favorites at FAU. He is very knowledgeable and gives a ton of resources to understand the topics in his class. Quizzes (open book), self tests, discussion posts, group project, paper. He is tough on grading the papers and expects you to put in the work (which isn't hard). 10/10 will take again.

The quizzes are easy especially if you just write/type all the words and definitions (in the margins) of the textbook; no lectures; 2 papers: one group and one individual; both are relatively easy papers but he does grade kinda harshly on them but you can make an appt with him and he will tell you exactly what to fix before you submit the paper

The class was easy but it needs participation, both in discussion board and group project. The grade is based o performance. His notes are a little bit confusing, but he will answer your questions.

A group project on a topic that will be chosen in class, an individual project on a topic that the teacher will assign, some discussion boards that at the end of the semester contribute to the grade of the participation, and many extra credits!!!
