worest teacher ever..talks about stupid things that don't relate to class material.. tests were hard..dont take him..he sucks
one of the worst teacher ever!!! you sit in class for 4 hours a week learning nothing that will be on the test.when you ask questions he doesnt know the anwser he just makes something up..i know all about his stocks though..you do that all day
worest teacher all he does is talk about BSing things that do not relate to the subject. Dont take him a waste of your time and money.

yeah he may be boring, but SO EASY. Take him for an easy A
i agree he has no clue what he's talking about. if someone asks a questions, he just answers whatever comes to his mind... his test are hard and he doesnt cover the material before them
not as bad as people make him out to be.
Nice guy, if u need help just approach him. Very helpful!

His time to retire was years ago. Cna not teach and is rude when you ask a question
please retire this guy.
WORST TEACHER, THE STUDENTS WERE TEACHING HIM. TEST WERE REALLY HARD..IF YOU READ THE TEXT AND ZONE HIM OUT DURING CLASS YOULL PASS BUT IF YOU LISTEN TO HIM...ALL YOU WILL LEARN IS ABOUT WHICH OF HIS STOCKS ARE UP TODAY AND WHAT KIND OF CAR EVERY1 DRIVES&

All he does is babble and his tests are hard because he doesnt talk about the same thing thats on his tests
Terrible teacher. He talks about everything except course material. You will become very knowledgable about his stock portfolio and politics but none the wiser about business. The best thing I can sugest is to ignore him and review the chapters and terms during class.

Is he teaching us or is he just trying to make us more dumb by taking his class. Getting off topic is an understatement when it comes to him.

Encourages you to ask questions. Even if you don't have a question wants them anyway. When students ask questions he cuts them off. My advice, read the book, tune him out and study from the study guide you get. Go to class for the credit, (he is big on attendance).
He's very easy going and fair. He gives MANY opportunities for EXTRA/BONUS points galore. He does know business. He's not bad but he does talk and encourages ANY questions. Tons of easily obtained bonus points can get you an A with not so great test scores. You can learn a great deal from him.
He expects you to have lots of questions, and it's hard on what's he's going to ask on his tests, but he's a nice guy. He also spend alot of time talking about the election instead of business.
I dreaded the class at first. It was a prereq but I ended up loving it and learning so much. He allowed many easy extra credit assignments. Always take them! Those points add up. Show up to class or make it up at another class for points. Extra credit points raised my grade.
Not very good at teaching from the book. Does offer a lot of extra credit chances. Very boring class and book.

He is an ok teacher.

Drones on during class, doesn't go from the book (but tests on the book!) Knows his stuff about business, but talking about current business affairs for two hours is not going to teach you principles of marketing. Also very unforgiving if you need to miss class.
Hes really willing to work with students who show an active interest in his class. Missed a lot of classes, and was sick a lot, didnt do well on many tests, but pulled a B because he was willing to work with me on things. Will spend the first 15-20min talking abour the stock market... Easy to get off topic.

Goes on and on and on about current events & politics. It's August 2005 and he still talks about the election. Class is a waste of time and money. Used study guide to prepare for exams and passed class with a B

I like this guy and his class. No homework, but tests make up 90% of your grade. Better show up to class, its a very big deal to him.
If your not to lazy to read the chapters then your good! the tests are based off of the vocab from the assigned chapters if u get a good idea of what each word means and how its uses then u should be good. ask alot of questions or your classes will be no fun!
Book terms, test on terms, more interactive projects. Nice guy- pretty boring class
The first chick who said she turned in an A+ paper has bad grammar. Try proofreading. Maybe that's why you got a C....
This guy was really nice! Many extra credit offers. I learned a lot.
Class is not needed.More or less memorize the book.He is a very smart man. It is hard to conclude a recommendation.Make sure you have a good understanding of vocab. If he asks for questions and no one has any he will throw random quizzes at the class.Make sure you have a few about the economy or just ask him how he feels on a subject.
Book has a lot to teach you. Class is basically not needed except for test. It's all memorizing the book. Things he talks about are interesting to me except his rants about Granholm. I dislike liberals so don't like his opinions and some stories he tells.
Drones on and on about irrelevant stories instead of teaching the book which is what you need to learn in order to pass tests.Test questions were random and were not from lectures, the study guide, glossary terms or the companion website for the book. His only advice "read the book".Has lost his teaching ability,if he ever had one.Not recommended.
Talks alot about the stock market, but if you dont mind occasional stories that may get off topic, he's a nice guy. All work is from the textbook and nothing more. Fairly Easy is you work at it.
Your an amazing teacher!!! It will be a sad year the year you retire... Your fun, strict, smart ok VERY smart and your not afraid to be mean. Thank you. TMB
Unfortunately his **** and **** comments made it too difficult for me to sit through his class. His arrogance got in the way of his teaching. I transferred to another section with another prof and loved the new prof. Would not recommend him for anything.
What a waste of time. He should just retire. Not doing any favor to students. This professor is so full of itself that he doesnt care about course any more. Its always him and how he is better then everybody. He should realize that he is playing with student career. Cant even keep track of the chapter he is teaching.
Love him... he is hilarious. Completely off topic, only have to go to lectures to get the points, tests are from the book. Talks a lot about the stock market, but he is entertaining.
This was the biggest waste of time and money. I have never in all of my years of attending high school or college have been in a class that was this terrible. I learned nothing from this man
A real big waste of time and money. I could have taken an on-line course and gotten more out of it. I wanted to learn business not politics! Find a good instructor to teach you this course.
terrible class this is the advanced marketing no info on actual class work talks about off topic stuff alot of wasted time
Worst teacher i have ever had. Always off topic, I read chapters over and over and could only get a B+ on the tests. I had a 3.8 before this class, Had to drop, because he is such a bad teacher
"Read the book 3 times." That is the only criteria for the class. Attendance counts towards grade. Lectures only about personal experiences as they relate to book, many not at all. Tests are based on book to include questions that are insignificant while predominate issues are absent. Memorizing book word for word is what makes this class hard
Not sure what's going on in the class... Mr. Bronstein is a really cool guy but his "Format" of instruction does not work well. I stress to all take this class at another campus or with a different instructor (if available).
my favorite teacher. very easy class. all you have to do is chose if you want to read the book or not. if you want to read the book you dont need to listen to his lectures. if you dont want to read the book than just listen to what he says. he gets into a conversation about what the sections are about and the lesson just fits in there somewhere.
Is this teacher still alive? He will try to scare you. Dont back down. He will try low down tactics i.e. turn in an A+ paper he will give you a C on it. If he does this See the dept. head.
Terrible prof... DONT take this class. Old and useless.. dont try to argue w/ him he will win..
Had him for 3 different classes. Show up to class and listen to what he has to say, then go home and read the book and teach yourself the material. He has a lot of business and life experience but doesn't cover any of the material on the test in his 'lectures.' Tests are not difficult if you read - the questions are directly out of the book.
he is awful...he doesnt teach and ****es at students for trying to discuss the class...possibly my worst teacher ever
I didn't get a single satisfying lecture from this professor. i think he should have retired 10 years ago!
He's not as bad as people make him out to be. Just read the book and you'll do fine. You have to teach yourself many things though. He talks about the stock market a lot.
Was scared to take the class because of his ratings. Not as bad as I expected. Gives curves. Tests r straight from the book and on small details that you don't remember. Gives 10 pt curves. One oral presentation required, 2 written. Need to spend a lot of time doing homework (1-2 hours a week). Opinionated.
Great teacher!
This guy was more of an entertainer than a teacher. Some people liked that, but I was not fond of him picking on other students or giving them a really hard time. Things like how many times he went to the bathroom usually aren't on the test and don't help you understand the material.
This profeesor is really detached from reality. His lecturs are about his stocks and bonds, his business opportunities, his brushes with notable people. If you attempt to discuss anything with him, he seems bothered by this. His test are 50% defnitions, 50% senarios based on book reading. Use the books internet site tools and you'll do fine.
do not take his class!! waste of time~
If you want to learn something about business this is the wrong teacher.I thought i was sitting in a theater class. You better prepare yourself for the test's because he won't give you any clue. What a waste of time.
f of him so wast of time taking his class, not a good teacher. no homework no notes taking in the class, just talks about stock marketing its boring doesn't even review for the test, test are straight from the book its a 50 multiply choice question. just read the book you will do fine but dont listen to his lecture.
Worst teacher I have had yet. I had the hardest time paying attention in class and he often goes on rants about unrelated topics and current government situations. He barely covers the material, if at all. I learned absolutely nothing from his class and when registering for future classes I REFUSE to take another class taught by him.
Worst instructor I've had at OCC. Rarely covered material from the book, yet used the publishers' pre-written tests. Seems to have no actual business experience. Too old to be relevant anymore. Learned more about business in high school.
Great Teacher. I enjoyed his discussions and learned a lot. My favorite professor, so far!
Had him for personal finance, he had guest speakers almost every week and did very little of his own teaching. The guests were very informative and interesting. The material is mostly common sense areas and the tests are take home essays. The class is very easy and can be very educational because of the guest speakers who do a great job.
This man had 1 year of experience working in a bank before becoming an instructor at OCC. Not up-to-date with the business world. An easy "A" but the mandatory attendance almost killed me by the end of the semester. If you like rants & being told how to vote this is the class for you. If you want a solid intro to Business I would look elsewhere.
Beware of this class it is a waste of TIME, MONEY, and you learn absolutely nothing. No homework, doesn?t even review tests, his lectures are about stocks, bonds, his stories of important people, past experinces. There is no room to debate. He seems very perturbed when you attempt to disagree with him.
Marketing was fun reading about, it wasn't fun when he talked about it. He reads the title, interprets the material and goes into a story. Not worth much knowledge and I'm happy I am not a marketing major. The only fun was the Marketing Cases. Test were one page papers, fill that page up with information and you get an A. Helpful for the GPA.
There was very little teaching from the text book. but he talks for the whole class. Tests on stuff from the book, not the lecture. You are doing a lot of self teaching but attendence is a huge part of your grade.
He is a nice enough guy, has a sense of humor. It's clear that he has been around the school forever. Lectures can bore you to tears, but he notices if you aren't paying attention. He will call you out. There is no homework, but you have to read the book a lot to do well on the tests.
Really nice professor and easy class.
This is the second time I've been forced to take thi professor, he is boring, talks about 1976, more than 2013 and seems to still be advertising and marketing in that time if you want to be cchallenged find another teacher.
This was my easiest "A" at OCC. The professor is a good man, and I like how he mixes his own life into class. Doesn't give any homework, other than a few side projects related to class. All of his tests can be found in the back of the book, because they are simply chapter reviews. Lets us leave early, but he hates cell phones. KEEP THEM OFF!!!.
Mr. Bronstein has a lot of wisdom and knowledge about Business and Marketing. He also loves to teach and share his knowledge.
