Mr.Hou is a very nice professor and very understanding when to a students personal matters that may stop them from submitting an assignment on time. Most of his work is easy to understand and when you have a question about something and email him. He responded in a timely manner. He is also very professional.

Dr. Hou is very thorough in his lectures and is very easygoing. Chemistry is notoriously a difficult subject to learn, however Dr. Hou's lectures certainly help for the tests. Make sure to review any homework that is given as it helps a bunch for the tests.

Dr. Hou is a great professor to set you up for forensics. His teaching style is straight forward and he posts all his lecture notes on canvas if you missed class. He is a tech savvy professor, so that is one thing to look out for. His test are straight forward, study his guides, notes, and online assignments.

This professor is fair and gives more than enough time to turn in assignments. Thoroughly goes through all material and makes sure it is available to us after class on canvas. He answers all questions and emails.

Professor Hou is a good teacher who makes his class very easy to pass. I advise you to take him over any other professor.

Overall, the class is really only as difficult as you make it. If you put in the effort, stay on top of the calendar he provides, and study the material he highlights for the tests, you will find his classes to be very doable. With Dr. Hou's guidance and support, success is within reach, and you will feel confident throughout the course.

This teacher is very kind and understanding if you miss work. But please don't get behind on work, the assignments really add up.

Mr Hou's is a friendly teacher! Have an issue with an assignment? Let him know! He's very understanding and helpful. The assignment will add up if you're behind so try not to fall too far back. He's very organized and he makes the lessons easy to comprehend. Stay on track to anyone who will take this class, you got this!

Dr.Hou is an excellent professor for Forensic Chemistry. I just wished the in-person sessions were more interactive. Other than that, it's a really good class and he's a very sweet and understanding man.

Dr. Hou is a very nice and understanding professor. If you are confused about any instructions he will quickly give you feedback until you understand. He responds to emails quickly. Overall a very nice experience in his class.

The professor explains it in a way that's easy to follow. He takes time to go over hard topics and gives good examples to help us understand. He moves at a good pace, answers questions, and makes sure everyone keeps up. He's mindful when it comes to missing assignments. He does a good job teaching.

Professor Hou's class layouts are about the same for every course. Lectures are posted in Canvas afterwards to review which helps if you miss a lecture. He does post study guides for tests. Tests are usually a few questions that are written. Homework is usually due in one day or 3 days. He is accessible outside the classroom and replies quickly.
