NO READING!!! HAVE TO GO TO CLASS AND TAKE NOTES!!!! gives you copies of old tests ... which is very helpful. Easy if you go to class take notes and get those tests... youll pull a B or an A easily.

One word...PILLOW!! he is so boring and the tests are very difficult...even if you take notes. I found the math to be very easy but his tests are not based on math. Maybe it's just me but I hated this class

He gives you copies of old tests that are exactly the same questions that are on the new tests. He tries to help. Just show up to class and you'll get a B at least.

I was so happy that I finally had an English-as-his-FIRST-language professor, that I would have gotten down on my knees to worship him if possible. You do have to attend every class, but I had no problems listening to him or following him. Organized!

He is a great teacher, I really learned all the information that he taught, you really understand what he teaches. Tests can be hard unless you study quite a bit, but if you do study you will get an easy A or B. This guy is quite a funny character too.

He picks his nose in class, talks to the chalk board, unhelpful when asked. I asked him for help and he told me i was stupid. I dropped the class and got an A with another professor, i despise him!

He is a very good teacher. Lectures are very clear and grading is fair. Economics can be difficult, but with him your given a fighting chance. Sometimes he may not be that clear on what will be on a test but overall a great teacher.

Um ok...whoever gave this man a bad rating has to be a few fries short of a happy meal. He couldn't be anymore clearer when teaches and he will help you outside of the class. He knows what he's doing (he's been teaching @TU for 20+ years).

The first day of class I thought it was going to be really hard! He started off saying that half of us would fail or drop out. I laugh now because I think he is great. He makes you work and you feel good about yourself because you actually know the material. Take his class if you want to work.

If your a bad test taker, beware. He gives the word and you give the definition. Never any multipul choice. Horrible handwriting, confusing lectures. Some ppl say hes easy, some can't even pass his class. He did say half of his class was gonna fail the first day. I don't like his class.

Mr. Harvey Paul is a great teacher, he gives extra help if you need it. You must attend class or you will be lost. Study his old exams on reserve in the library. He also gives study guides. Put an answer for every question on the test. no multiple choice or matching. Funny GUy

Very good teacher. Exams are extremely long and there are no multiple choice exams. All the questions are T/F Explain and short answers. This guy stares into space once in a while. Dont take him b/c exmas are TOUGH!!!..sometimes 6 pages

If you're not a good test taker, don't take this class. He only gives 2 exams and a final, no other grades except a couple of homeworks. Material is not that difficult but it is a lot to learn in one semester. He did make me laugh with his bedhead and speech impediment. Don't mean to be rude.

Hes a good guy, very clear with his explanations of the subject, shows how to do every problem numerous times, absolutely hilarious, "You will fail this exam" is his favorite quote, but as long as take good notes, the tests are easy! old tests in library, very helpful, would take him again for micro

He'll try to scare all the slackers into dropping the course, but he's a very good teacher. Students complain about his short answer tests, but it's not bad since he lets you check out the old exams. Very thorough in explaining everything. If you want to learn macro, take him.

Very clear. Do the practice exams in the library and pay attention in class, take good notes and if possible work with a group. You will definitely get an A. The book is not necessary. He really gets you to understand economics. Great teacher!

He is a brilliant teacher. Do not buy the textbook. Exams are though tough but he lets you look at the practice exams at the library. Although he wipes chalk on his pants and speaks like elmer fudd, "makwoeconomicz", he isnt a bad teacher.

he is crazy....he has really bad bed hair, always wipes chalk on him self and his face. cant speak to save his life. he runs into the chairs and desk with his leg everytime he passes it. his tests are impossible. tests are from lecture, but you cant read his lecture notes at all cause he cant write.

He knows what he is talking about. His tests are sooo hard but if you study and come to ever class and look at his exams at the libr. you should do O.K. You have to be dedicated to the work. Don't take as a GenEd. Only take as a prereq.

Doesn't take attendance, but if you want to pass I'd suggest not missing anymore than 2 classes. Attendance is key if you want to pass exams. Exams are tough. Second exam is easier than the first. Not impossible to pass. Awesome guy. Definitely take him

if u miss a class then u will lose a grade. he doesnt take attendance but u have to show up or u'll fail. he knows his stuff. u dont need the textbook. just pay attention in class, do the homework. get practice test in the library and u'll do fine. if u wat to learn macro and not expect a free A, definately take him and u wont regret it. u'll learn

his class is middle of the road in just about everyway possible. he grade moderately hard but not too bad. he fairly clear on what he wants and its sort of interesting but not too much. i guess take him hes not too bad.

he is hard. you really have to study hard and a lot. i recommend sitting in the front because his writing is quite messy. he is very helpful tho, go see him when you dont understand something. his exams are tough, but if you dont miss class, do the hw, and study uber hard, you will do fine.

On the first day of class he said " There are two things you can notice about my name, 1) I wrote Doctor so i like being called Dr. 2) my hand writing is horrible." basically sums up the class. if you can understand his lisp and his handwriting though hes a very good teacher

Harvey Paul is such a good teacher. People complain about his lisp but its not bad, you can understand everything he says fine. Test are decently hard but not impossible. This isnt a class you can miss to often. Pretty much if you go to class and take notes like you should be doing, you'll be fine. I highly recommend taking any of his classes.

His class is hard, but you will learn alot. The tests are hard but not completelty impossible, you will have to study alot to get a good grade in his class. Alot of work but will pay off in the end. In general he is a nice man and for the most part helps you out as much as possible.

Harvey Paul is an awesome teacher. He is very serious and knows soo much about what he's talking about. If you dont go to class a lot dont take one of his. I hated Economics and after this class I understood and I enjoyed it. Hes is very helpful and cares about his students. I recommend Dr. Paul!

Dr. Paul understood that most of his students had no background in economics before taking his class; thus, he simplified his concepts (and his tests!). He informed our class of his old tests on reserve in the library, which was extremely helpful to study the material, and realize the types of questions he asks and what he expects as an answer.

Prof. Paul was a great instructor, but the class was hard. Make sure you read the book, and turn in the few assignments. Study for the tests, and possibly use a tape recorder because sometimes it is hard to write all the information down.

This is an awful professor. I studied for weeks for all his exams and half the material i studied was not on the test. Class averages on tests were almost D's. He seemed like a great professor in the beginning.. but his tests are ridiculous...bad bad bad and i will hopefully never have someone like him again.

Seriously the worst teacher i have ever had!! He is hard to understand and makes no sense at all. No matter how hard you study, your will NOT get an A. He likes to go off and talk about his money and how much he doesnt like being there and how he likes to spend his time in his vacation house if FL on a boat, my opinion, GO to FL and dont return!

Book is not necessary. 3 exams, all from class notes. Take very clear notes and ask him to repeat if necessary. Gives out 5 simple homework problems throughout the semester. But I think he might be retiring
