Mrs. Batt is awful. She was so unhelpful and did not care about anything that went on with ehr students. She faired half of us in the class. Her test were so specific and rediculous. Dont take her class!!!
Really hard, and never tells you what is going to be on the test
this teacher is really hard. i struggled throughout the whole semester. if i were a student trying to decide... stay away from this one...
her tests are hard as hell, but you'll defidently know the material well for your next packaging classes.
her class wasn't really that bad as long as you knew how to memeorize material and don't leave anything blank on the tests either. pay attention and you'll be fine
It doesn't seem like she knows what she is talking about, and she is pregnant all of the time. Nice girl, but her quizzes are like tests. She is such a picky grader, much like her husband, but he is the only one who teaches the class. Don't take her, it's a waste of time. Cooksey all the way!
He is such a picky grader. His quizzes are like tests. You get a formula sheet, but it doesn't always help. He is never present for quizzes or tests. He's really nice and BANGING HOT! Homework is terrible and lab is unbearable...no kidding, but he is the only one who teaches it, so there is no hope.
VERY VERY HARD!! You will never make a 100 on her tests, she believes too much in her bell curve... and to make an A, you might as well memorize ALL of your notes.. which may sound easy but its not... AVOID HER AT ALL COST!!
If you don't learn in her class it is because you don't want to. Yeah she may have some hard exams but she is trying to make your our degree credible. Quit whining and pull a few all-nighters..it will pay off in the real world. 1 bad thing- She has never worked in industry so her views are very theoretical and not based on real life experience.
Very Very Easy Just show up for class, and take all of the notes. A very straight foward teacher.
If your in packaging, suck it up and study your fanny off for this. Study for this in advance and prove him wrong when he is sloppy in class. Unfair grading by TAs, teacher does not grade anything, pop-tests, and has favorites. Good luck
Professor has no work experience and teaches about as well as my broken printer. Careful when supporting teachers like this, do not take the class if possible. We need industry professors, not political grad students to made it in with the department head.
this was supposidely a food packaging course, but instead I learned nothing about packaging. it seemed to be more of an advanced food chemistry course. Cooksey teaches class now and most everyone make A or B. I struggled to get a C and the rest of the class didnt fair so well. Wasnt too bad for 368, but this class was terrible.

Overall,Do not trust what she teaches. tahts my recomm.
NEVER TAKE his class. Too hard and terrible!. Just try to bring some questions to him. UWill figure it out easily!!!He was also taking similar class from other department and taught us...Funny..funny..funny. if you looks for replacement, go to mechanical engineering. Thats better way!!!!
Notes are straight forward and clear. Just download from blackboard and copy straight from powerpoint. Show up for classes and listen up. You'll remember things cause she puts images, things that you can relate to in everyday life. Otherwise, you have to study a lot. You must cover all the material given to you because she does not give you a stu
Good teacher~ I really liked her... you have to study for the tests, but if you pay attention in class then you should atleast get a B. She also cancels class a lot and gets off track a lot in class. She makes the class interesting! DEF take her!!
She missed class twice without sending us any notification and the only grades she gave us were the exams. She got off topic and many times seemed to just not care about the class.
You had to memorize literally every word from her notes (which weren't always posted on Blackboard so you had to write every word she said) if you wanted an A. For a two hour class, I probably put the most time into studying for this than my other 15 hours. She's nice and the class is fairly interesting, she goes off on tangents a lot.
tardy often, does not post notes in time before class, has TA's grade (many mistakes from this), told @ beginning of class that if we didn't need the textbook she would tell us (it was pricey)- i barely used the text MOSTLY because the notes she'd post weren't up-to-date with the textbook (we had a newer version book).
$80+ book (she said we'd need) was hard to use b/c of out-of-date notes from Bb (when they were actually posted). I pointed this out, no corrections made by her. Tests didn't reflect material (subjective diagrams). Had to meet w/her many times to fix several test mistakes made by grad students when graded. Didn't show to class often w/o notice.
Expensive book said we'd need, but did not b/c notes were from previous edition so pages & diagram # were wrong. Grad students graded tests, lots of errors. Went to her several times to point errors out. IE: my test answers marked wrong that were similar or EXACT to another student's test where the answer was marked right. would NOT give me credit.
Very expensive book that we NEVER needed (Over $200). Reads straight from PP slides. Does not seem very knowledgeable about the industry. If you had access to the slides, there would be no need to attend class. Was not very professional to badmouth other pkg professors in front of students. Pretty boring class. Hope that it's offered online.
While she presented quality material, she has detailed tests that often came from lecture data she would not release on blackboard. Also, she would reschedule classes on short notice, notifying you only by email. The term project assignment instructions (20% grade) were cryptic and poorly formatted. Seemed kind of "fly-by-night". myeh...
Don't take if you're not a packaging major. boring class. she teaches straight from notes on bb. you'll either like her or find her to be very vindictive.
I hate this woman with a passion. She teaches her class from a powerpoint with long interruptions talking about her "poor children" who are going to die because we're mistreating the earth. She posts the notes on BB, but that's too easy, so she deletes key points that you have to take from the powerpoints if she even gets around to mentioning it.
she is a very bias teacher that has favorites she teaches form powerpoints and you have to copy every single thing down because her test are very hard basically know everything she say word for word she is very disrespectful only talks about her children dont take her she needs to be evaluated
She can seem friendly but all she talks/cares about are her kids. The class is taught straight from notes on blackboard, but DO NOT for one second think that means it's easy. The tests require hours of studying to even get a B, because there is so much information on them. Overall, however, I did learn some cool things because I'm not a packsci maj
Her tests are harder than necessary. You never know what to expect to be tested on because she picks the most irrelevant points from her presentations and each test is over about 120 slides of extremely wordy information. She goes off on tangents often and talks about her kids A LOT. She is very nice but her class is awful. Lots of grading mistakes
I think she's changed some things about this class because she posts all of her notes online and all you need to do is fill in blanks. Tests aren't bad if you study! Thought it would be an easy but definitely isnt. As long as you take notes and go to class and study all the notes, you'll be fine! Super nice and friendly. Love her as a person!
Just really does not care about you. I think teaching is hard but straightforward. If teaching is a straight road, she is driving in circles. She is clearly not suited to teach the class. I cant play the guitar, so I dont play guitar at rock concerts. Her teaching style is, I dont know to play the guitar but I can teach the world how to.
I would stay far, far away. If this is your major, good luck. If not, take another class..
worst teacher in the packaging department. test are harder than necessary. boring and annoying lecturer. has no experience in industry and has no education regarding packaging. tries to act like she is young and says awkward things to students. doesn't seem to care about students.
Class is hard but if you study your notes you will do fine, sorry this is college it does take time and effort. Everyone that says the test are harder than necessary just didn't study enough. The test are hard but there is nothing on there that she hadn't gone over. She wants you to earn your degree, not give it to you.
Tests are very specific. Must know material like the back of your hand. Struggled through this class. Go to class and study all the time
She knows her food packaging really well and gives good information but her tests are really hard. Study a lot.
She really knows what she's talking about with regards to packaging, but her tests sometimes have questions that don't cover what was discussed in class. Also, you can only get the notes if you go to class. She's okay, just be prepared to study and it's not awful.
Tests are much more difficult then necessary, her grading is based on perfection so if you forget bits of information about topics on a test, expect to receive massive grade deductions. She also is not forgiving at all, if a student that tries hard makes an honest mistake with scheduling, or cpu probs, etc. no mercy is given.
Worst advisor for packaging. I would go to Bob for advising related issues. She has no packaging background. She is also rude to her students and thinks that the major is a joke. Reasons to why she is not a full time teacher.
Heather Batt is such a nice person but she is tough! She definitely makes you work for your grade but she is willing to help if you're not doing well.
If you're taking the 1020 course and don't live for packaging, look for another professor. The only grades in this class are 5 exams that are short and only ask about minute details. She's one of the nicest people you'll meet, but she seems to think everyone is passionate about packaging like she is.
Would not recommend this class to anyone with this professor. Material isn't necessarily bad but her exams are a little ridiculous with their brief length and questions on very obscure details.
I kind of hate this professor. She makes analogies that make no sense/confuse you, goes off on wild tangents during lectures and is TERRIBLE at creating exams. It shouldn't be a hard class, but it is.
Mrs. Batt is a great person, but her teaching strategies just don't work for me or most of the class. I worked my butt off the whole semester and put in hours upon hours weeks in advance before the exams and still made 60's and 70's. I definitely do NOT recommend this class to anyone who is looking for an A or B. You have to work hard for a C.
Heather is a nice lady to some (get on her good side). Her classes are very difficult and require a heavy amount of studying. 102 isn't hard material wise, but you HAVE to attend class or you will not do well on the tests. 201 is very interesting but requires a lot of studying and preparation. Difficult teacher but hot. Tell her Princeton sucks lol
Okay as a person, she is wonderful. Very pleasant to be around and cares about you. She just is a awkward teacher that does not explain the material well. Pretty darn hard for an intro class. Be prepared to have to study a lot for the test.
She definitely knows her stuff, but she'll sometimes cover a lot of material in one class period, leaving you somewhat confused and overwhelmed. Tests aren't too bad, although you definitely need to study for them. She's really friendly and personable, though, I liked the class overall!
So boring if you aren't a packaging major. No one ever goes to class because attendance isn't mandatory. Only 4 tests the whole semester which are difficult and not really related to the lecture material. Such a sweet person--I'd like her outside of school but not the best professor.
I've had 3 courses under Heather and each were a thorn in my side. Tests ask questions based on obscure, small details. All of her classes are based off of 4 grades, either all tests or 3 tests and 1 paper. She will not go out of her way to help you in most cases, and to me is the epitome of a lazy professor.
Went to Princeton - says "Petridge farms"... Lots of mess ups on the tests "oh I meant '----''".
I guess I really liked the class bc it was easy 2 me compared 2 all these other ratings. Tests were hard for no reason but I studied hard so I was easily able to make A's. You have to put in the work and really listen in class in order to do good on the tests. No homework, provides notes for class. She gives good examples but talks too much..
Honestly, this woman is absolutely full of herself and her TWO credit hour class. I'm sorry that she is the only professor who offers this lecture- and I understand that she loves what she does but she CANNOT expect the same of students. Everything about this class is hellacious. Unimpressed to say the least.
She is the only professor that teaches this class so you can't really get out of taking her. There is a lot of material and it's pretty complicated but if you go to class and her office hours it is doable. She's intimidating at first but is actually super nice in person.
Dr Batt, says she wants her students to succeed but is never accessible outside of class and makes tests unnecessarily hard. All tests have fill in the blank questions and if u don't put her exact answer it gets marked wrong. She never answers emails and always makes her class a priority when everyone has a ton of other classes too.
Honestly awful. Don't recommend taking this online in the summer because you only have 2 exams, each worth 50% of your grade. Take notes on her PowerPoints and use the study guide for the 1st exam. Final exam is cumulative, and she failed to include that *important* detail on the study guide so I went from an A to C. Stick to regular semester.
Love this class and professor. Come sit for 50 minutes and fill in the notes SHE GIVES YOU. Make a quizlet and study that for 2-3 days and you will literally make an A on every test. Everyone giving bad reviews is lazy and isnt trying because she makes the class so easy and interesting while we still learn all about packaging. Love it
Dr. Batt is one of the nicest and most caring professors I have had but her class is unnecessarily difficult for an intro course. The tests don't have many questions and are very specific. Notes are fill in the blank but you have to know everything about them front and back to have a shot at a good grade on the test.
Class is "optional" but you must fill in the blank on any of her content posted online (not a big deal). Tests are the only grades in this class, and they shouldn't be difficult because the class content really isn't that difficult, right? WRONG. It's not about understanding concepts, it's about exact wording and things barely touched on in class.
There are only 5 tests that make up your grade. The questions are purposely tricky - a power trip since she's just teaching the 102 class. There are things you wouldn't typically even think of as a questions that mentioned in passing in lecture. I finally made a good grade (studied hard) & she accused me of cheating. Unhelpful esp to graphics ppl.
Dr Batt is very smart but lazy and her Powerpoints are outdated. She is an extremely slow grader. She is not accessible outside of class and never hands back the tests, probably because she reuses tests every year since she is lazy. It never seems like she wants her students to succeed she wants everything to be difficult.
This lady truly does not care about teaching people. She prefers rote memorization instead of actual concepts. Get ready to learn exact phrases and words! She has a faux sense of caring, but dotes on a select few - prob the sorority girls up front. If you ask her questions about material, she does everything in her power to not answer it directly.
Honestly, Dr. Batt is pretty cool as a person. However, her tests are quite the opposite. They require you to remember very minute details. Just look up PKSC 1020 on Quizlet- those were more helpful than the lecture notes. Also, be prepared to be tested on information that was not even discussed in class.
Dr. Batt is nice, but not the greatest professor. The only grades for this class are tests which focus around specific details from the notes, nothing big picture. During lecture, she tends to go off on tangents and provide information that does not always pertain to the lecture material.
I took this class over the summer. The only grades are the midterm are the final. I took notes on all the lecture videos and made quizlets with over 150 terms on it and studied my butt off ,and still did not do as well as anticipated. This is because half of stuff on test is not in notes. Tests have more questions than they do minutes.
This teacher is terrible! Her tests focus on stupid points from the lectures. Ex. what is a sea turtle's favorite food? - like what? this is a packaging class not biology. Tough grader too, will not give back points. Don't take her at ALL costs!
Just finished the five week online class. It's a quizlet class. There are some things that I wish were different, but overall it's not that deep. Don't solely rely on what she provides in lecture slides. Listen and jot down word for word what she's saying. A lot of test questions came from this. Study at least a week or two in advance and MEMORIZE.
Absolute train wreck of a course. Entire grade is made up of a midterm and final. These do not reflect lecture material and are application and specific memorization primarily. Class average for exams was the mid 60's, little curve. Don't let her limit your time for the final, we get the entire 3 hours despite what she says, its University policy.
I took Dr. Batt for PKS 102. This class was required for my packaging science class and she was perfect for it. She really is very knowledgeable about what she's teaching and clearly enjoys it. She is sometimes hard to get in contact with especially when online, but when she does she always answers thoroughly. Would definitely take it again!
Literally the worst professor ever. I hate her. She makes every test nearly impossible. She aggravates me to a level I cannot comprehend. She gives so much material to memorize and then tests you on small bits of the slides.
The literal worst teacher I have ever had. Grades are based off of two test and are typically open ended questions, that you must answer in the exact manner as she said in class or it will not count. She is terrible at responding to emails but puts on a persona that she cares for her students.
Best way to get a good grade is show up to class, take notes on everything (even not on the slide), and make quizlets of all your notes. The content isn't difficult but your grade is based on 5 exams so if you don't have good notes you won't pass. Exams are basically memorization so study 2-3 days ahead at least.
I was out for a week with COVID and she basically left me to my own devices, answered zero emails, and didn't give me any of the course material I was missing out on. The entire course is dependent on 3 tests and that's it, which is an awful system. Avoid if possible.
Ok listen, people are gonna hate her or love her.. she is a tough teacher and makes tough exams. You have to work for it, it's called weed out classes for a reason. Not everyone is built for a class on food chemistry. Exams are very specific and lots of drawing out reactions, open ended questions. Take notes, put in effort and you should pass. :)
I would not wish this class on my worst enemy
Literally the worst professor I've ever had while being a student on this campus. Made me consider dropping my major and it's honestly a miracle how this woman ever got a teaching degree. Unfortunately, her classes are required for my major so I'm not out of the woods yet but yikes.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Literally the worst professor I've ever had the misfortune of having. Doesn't care about her negative reviews and barely passes for a high-school level teacher. Unfortunately have to take her classes for my major but she's a nightmare.
Interested in the packaging major at clemson? too bad! This professor will literally make you drop the major. Absolutely dreadful, never responded to a single email, doesn't know how to use Canvas (and isn't elderly), and takes off points on tests just cuz she feels like it. I'm surprised she managed to get a teaching degree. Dropped.
love heather batt as a person but was a super tough grader. I only got a decent grade in the class because I enjoyed studying the material. class is unavoidable if you're a packaging major but 10/10 person.
This teacher honestly made me want to drop out of my major. She shows no sympathy and will literally give you a 0 even with a dr note and says you can recover when it docks your grade 7 points for missing something. I really hope she can reflect on life and realize theres more to it than making students lives miserable. DO BETTER!!!
The only things that were graded the entire semester were 3 exams. She didn't really put much into the class, her lectures were dry, and she just read the PowerPoints on video. Furthermore, the only way to review the PowerPoint was to watch the videos as she doesn't provide PDFs. Definitely try to take this course at TriCounty if you can!
Exams are the only grades. Each exam is comprised of 5+ packets of notes (4-10 pages each). All specific memorization. Too much info to study with no guidance given on what the exams will cover, other than anything on the notes. Said in the beginning of the semester that she doesn't give Monday exams, then gave us a Monday exam.
Professor Batt grades this class on your best 2/3 tests, a midterm and a final, which is kinda harsh in my opinion. All she does is lectures and doesn't post the PowerPoints. She's not great at responding to emails, so talk to her in class if you need her. Be ready to study a lot and memorize all of the terms
Most of the content in this course is very intricate and in-depth. Basically no homework, with a lack of assignments other than heavy-weighted assignments like tests & projects. In-class assignments do occur but at most you will have is 5 by the end of the semester and they occur spontaneously. The 4 tests make up the majority of your final grade.
Having Heather Batt is definitely not for the souls of those who are weak. She grades everything based on four exams. If you do not do well on these select four exams (which do not relate to lectures), your grade will plummet. She does not seem to care about giving positive feedback/help and will belittle you if you aren't Albert Einstein.
Be prepared to be graded on 4 exams only. They are only 35 questions but are pretty straightforward if you take time and study in advance. No homework or extra work outside of class other than studying. Overall not as bad as people have said but also probably would not be taking if it wasn't a graduation requirement.
Dr. Batt is very knowledgeable about what she teaches & truly wants you to learn the material. The material in her classes can be tough, but if you take the time to thoroughly study you will do well. She's very willing to meet during office hours if you need help better understanding something. She's also super sweet & really funny which is a plus
This course is now FNPS 3680, majority of Batt's classes feature few assignments which bear the majority of the passing grade for the course and this can be challenging and stressful. Overall, this class is not going to be your worst but you will need to stay on top of the material even though meetings only occur once a month.
I love Dr Batt! The lectures are very long and heavy and the only grades are the exams. A lot of study and memorization needed.
She's very personable, but lectures are long and heavy and she talks too much. Be ready to study, there are a lot of tests, which are the only grades you'll get.
Dr. Batt was one of my favorite professors at Clemson so far! She gets a bad rap because the class requires more work than most students are willing to put in. She is super funny, incredibly sweet, and really cares about her students. Study, memorize, and go to office hours and she'll do her best to make sure you succeed. I would 100% recommend her
This class is so informative. Instructor Batt is so knowledgeable about this subject, and you can tell she really cares about teaching the information in a way her students can understand it. You will have to pay attention and actually study for the exams. Overall a great instructor and a great class!
She's a nice lady but her class is designed for you to fail. Only 5 tests but the lowest gets dropped. No homework or other assignments to help boost your grade. She doesn't post the powerpoints online and a lot of this stuff is confusing and memorization based, so Quizlet will be your best friend.
Dr. Batt is an amazing professor. She is very knowledgeable and truly cares about the subject. She gets a bad rap because the only grades are exams, and her class is harder than some, but it is not hard if you put in a little time, study, and take good notes. She provided visual examples, which helped me and is willing to help you after hours.
Dr. Batt gets a bad reputation because her class is harder than others and you are only graded on tests, but if you put in the work and study an A is very achievable.
Dr. Batt is a really good professor who cares about her students. You will not do good in this class if you do not show up. Be prepared to take extra notes that aren't on the slides but she makes learning difficult information easier.
She is the entire reason I will be switching my major. I thought I was smart until this class. The exams are confusing and hard and that is the majority of your grade. If you take her, good luck.
I feel like I don't have enough time in a week to study for her exams. They are way to hard. She is out to confuse you. Never did well on an exam. Very hard class.
Dr. Batt is a great professor! If you study a little bit for the tests, you'll be fine; they are based on vocabulary terms and are way easier than gen chem exams. She is super kind and likes to talk about her kids a lot. If you're willing to study some flashcards before her exams, you will get an A or high B in the class.
I was a straight A student before this class :( I think this class would have been doable in the fall or spring, but I would NOT recommend taking the mini semester course in the summer. It is WAY too much material for 3 weeks. It is graded solely on 2 exams and 1 final, and my class averaged a 66. Be prepared to memorize a ton.
My grade was dependent on 2 exams and a paper, asks really specific questions on the exams that she didn't go into detail about in her posted lectures. Paper was also harshly graded. Tried reaching out to her about my grades, she waited to respond until after she submitted final grades then told me nothing could be done because she submitted grades
Heather started off as your stereotypical nice big church-going southern family with a white picket fence and a dog. This woman is terrible and cannot teach to save her life; don't even think she could properly draw a diagram off a slideshow with a gun to her head.
Professor Batt's reviews are scary but she is not bad at all. It is based only on exams but she drops one and her lectures are very simple to take notes and understand. She is very understanding and will help with any questions.
Prof. Batt is a pretty nice lady, but her PKSC1020 class has been difficult for me. You are graded solely on exams, and no other assignments. I would say that the exams are easy, but the exams further into the semester ask very oddly specific questions that catch you off guard. The only way to really study for these exams is to find a good quizlet.
It is unfortunate that Dr. Batt is a nice lady upfront, but actually just wants you to fail her course. She makes it sound like this should be the easiest class ever, but she knows it's not. You are only graded on exams and the material is just memorization of a million random numbers and facts. If you pass be glad you never have to take it again.
your grade is only based on exams, she uses iclicker for attendance but it doesn't actually factor into your final grade. the course is very dense in material and the exams are pretty difficult. it's not the hardest course i've ever taken but it's definitely not easy.
The WORST. This class is baed off of 4 exams and nothing else. She said everyone usually does well on the final (not true) and it sucks because it's worth 30% of your grade, as well as the midterm. The curriculum needs to change for this class because the fail rate is higher than the passing rate.
For goodness sake they need to make this class easier. Wouldn't wish this class upon my worst enemy. Had a decent grade until I took the final and ended up tanking it, causing me to fail the class which sucks because I worked so hard the whole semester
Was determined to prove those other reviews wrong at the beginning of this class. I worked my butt off all semester in this class and just barely failed. She's really nice in person, but it's so hard to pass for whatever reason. The class definitely needs some reform.
Professor Batt's class has a rep for being tough, but if you put in the work and use tools like unstuckstudy for study prep, an A or high B is very doable. She's kind and cares about the material.
She is hands down one of the most exhausting professors I had at Clemson. It quite literally seemed as if she was out to get me. She massacred my paper I submitted. She also needs a major restructuring of the grading in the class. 4 Grades is not sufficient for a major required class, 3 of those being test.
4 major assignments determine the entire grade with a paper that this passive-aggressive professor will, no matter what, treat like a bag of straight garbage. Is someone going to look at this course and see how terribly its laid out? Probably not. Avoid if you can, though if you're taking it it's probably required. D- overall grade. Do better.
This class is manageable with regular attendance, and exams are simple if you create quizlets from notes. However, Dr. Batt prefers students obtain missed notes from classmates, which may be challenging for those who take detailed notes. While she may appear indifferent, her communication style can sometimes come across as condescending.
batt is like your cliche southern church goer in terms of acting friendly but is actually not a great person in actuality. tough grader, very lecture heavy and don't even bother trying to ask for help on something you genuinely don't know bc that's utterly worthless to her. not a fan, get it together for the love of God.
Course is listed as in-person but taught entirely through old recorded lectures. No interaction, no assignments—just 3 in-person lockdown exams that determine your whole grade. Felt more like a self-paced online class. Little support from the professor. Disappointing and felt like a lazy way to run a class. Would not recommend.
There weren't many grades so if you did badly on one or two exams it is hard to get your grade back up. Lecture heavy but no homework which was nice. I am worried for the future classes reading all these reviews...
Dr. Batt is literally one of the BEST professors at Clemson. I love her! She is so caring and kind. If you are failing her class, it means you probably aren't going to lecture or bothering to pay attention. The class is hard, but you learn a lot. Students these days expect A's handed to them, when in reality you have to work for it.
Dr. Batt is a phenomenal professor. A lot of students complain as they assume her classes are easy, when in reality they require a solid amount of work. 85% of doing well is simply showing up to lectures. She is very engaging and fun during class so taking notes is easy. As long as you have a great study system, you'll do well.
The teacher was unresponsive to emails, even during office hours, requiring the dean's involvement to get a reply. Accommodations were delayed. Grades consisted solely of tests, often focusing on minor details rather than main topics. Many students are seeking academic forgiveness due to their grades in this class.
literally graded by just exams, no assignments, and the only extra credit is doing the course eval for a question on the final.
Could not give constructive advice or feedback when I scheduled meetings for help. Your grade is based off of the 4 exams with no extra credit or homework assignments or extra help. Her advice was to just find quizlets that students already made instead of actually helping to give understanding.
If you have to take this class anytime soon, good luck. Our class got moved online a few days before classes started due to a personal matter. The exams had information on them that was not in the videos so try to learn everything. There is only exams so If you do bad on one it will tank your grade. I studied over 20 hours for the final and failed
Your grade is based only on exams…no other assignments. Exams include material never covered in lecture; the only way to learn it is by watching video lectures. Very frustrating experience. Relieved I never have to take this professor again. Do not recommend unless absolutely required.
She really just doesn't seem to have any idea how to teach a class... Your grade is entirely dependent on exams and these exams contain a lot of trick questions and questions with material that wasn't covered. Also she takes forever to respond to emails.
