She is REALLY GOOD at explaining things. Science in general is what I'm super interested in so being in her class and listening to her lectures made her class more fun. The only problem was the huuuuge workload and difficult exams. I took A&PI and II (passed with A's) before I took her BIO and had to drop it because I couldnt keep up anymore.

Dr. B was great this spring and should be highly recommended for anyone majoring in science. She's a very honest and open person who tries to make the most of the long lectures covering a lot of material. There is a ton of homework and the lab lectures/exams are no easy task at all; but if you show up and pay attention you'll pass. I would retake.

She was a really nice person, very kind. Allows you to text her if you have any questions which I appreciate. But she was very messy, unorganized, and kind of lazy. Wouldn't grade our stuff on time, and made us do unnecessary work on the lab assignments we had to turn in. I took her 6 week A&P1 class and she gave us way too much work to do!

Dr. Brasher makes Biology fun and understanding. She opens her office hours and allows extra credit as well. Her labs are really fun end engaging. lectures are more slideshows than talk but she is very good at explaining each slide. I recommend TAKING NOTES while she explains. PLEASE DON'T TAKE HER FOR HYBRID (ONLINE) She's the worst at grading on time and her test are HARD. I took A&P 1&2 and they're not as hard has her classes. She's so bad at grading that she didn't even submit them even after the drop deadline. So those who are failing don't even have an option except to stay.

Professor Brasher is amazing! Her class is difficult, but you can't go into college expecting all of your classes to require no work. She is hilarious and she is also very hard working and cares about her students. She will go out of her way to study with students who need help. Favorite professor/teacher I've ever had!

This lady is completely disorganized. It is a complete mess. Don't even think about about getting grades or assignments in a timely manner. Although she is hilarious and shares great stories.

I took her biol 2404, fully online. She gives a module, lab assignment and homework with EVERY chapter. There are 4 test and a final. No reviews, and the test are extremely difficult. Dont give any grades back on time, and horrible at answering emails.

I took her online. The chapters and the dates didn't match what was due. On the MyA&Plab online (where 90% of work is done) she messed up the chapters. she went by units in the syllabus and chapters in Mya&Plab. So the test would be over chapters 2-5 but going by the other you were studying chapters 1-4. I emailed her and she didnt respond.

She response to D2L emails fast- sometimes within 10 mins. I could text her at any time of the day if i had a question. She did review sessions for us. One lasted 6 hours on her day off. She is slow at grading some things but assignments like homework are graded automatically so you know how your doing in class for the most part.

Her class is hard but hey it's college. Expect homework and study modules. I never passed one test (made 50s) and still made a C because I came to class and did all my work. She will meet you outside of class too. Great at explaining things.

Her syllabus outlines all due dates. She had a different due date then the syllabus but its because she gave us more time to complete an assignment. She goes by units but her syllabus tells you which chapters are with what unit and it tells you in D2L for each unit. I finished her class a month early. NOT HARD! Just do work and you pass.

The work was like other classes that are online. She actually walked us through each lab. I have taken other professors that just throw the book at you and say go. For bones this was really helpful! She's a full time professor not part time so she expects more; it prepares you. Slow grader sometimes; others we got it back in 1 day .

Dr. Brasher is my favorite! She is tough and really makes you work hard for an A. But it is possible! She also gives you plenty of opportunities for extra credit including up to 10 points extra on each lecture exam. She is tough but a great teacher.

Dr B provided a lot of tools to use to learn the material. Her test were tough but not impossible. I liked all the videos she provided. There is lot of homework but it also means she drops stuff and the test are not the only things that determine your grade with is nice. I made low Cs on my tests and almost pulled an A. Do your work and its fine.

Loved her for A&PI! She was a tad hard but I learned so much in her class, I was ready for AP2 and made an A in it. I read what others say here and its not true. She returned our test typically in the next lecture class. She gives you extra credit for every exam. You just review exams, go to tutoring, or being active on campus. She's not bad.

This class has by far been one of the worst classes I've ever taken. Every one of my friends said they loved bio, but there is no way that anyone who has ever taken her class would say that. We took 6 tests in 3 weeks and did nothing for the first part of the semester. If I were you I would take somebody else in general.

Great, cool, funny, and nice, but terrible instructor. WAY too much work for a non-majors, tests are really hard (class average was always 50-60). There's constant homework (2-3 things do every class). Different unit every week so you can't miss class. Takes her forever to put in grades/respond to emails. Only recommend if you're taking a majors.

She is a hard professor but she explains things well and she is here for her students. Emails fast. She gives 4 exams/ each has opportunity for 5 points extra credit and 10 point bonus. She does online and in class homework that accounts for 20% of the grade. She dropped 10 homeworks. If you fail its because you are lazy. No one failed our class.

She's funny and her lectures are great. I learned a lot. Her test are hard but she gives extra credit and bonus on them. You can also make a music video to replace your lowest test grade. It was a hard assignment but fun. She stays late to meet with you and you get her cell number to text so she is always available. Great bio prof!

Great person, but a horrible teacher. She talks more about weekends and social plans than the actual lecture which makes the class fall behind on material. Thus will make the class take 4 tests all in two weeks if she has to. A distracted teacher. Also, gives a lot of homework, but will drop some 100s even if she stressed you to work hard on it.

Best Professor I've ever had. This was also the one of the hardest classes I've taken. I recommend getting involved with your classmates and with her. The exams and practicals are killer and I wanted to curl up in a corner after each one. With that being said, I have never learned so much from a single class. If you want a easy A, look elsewhere!

I enjoyed how Dr. Brasher grouped media along with the textbook information for the A&P class. I found her information helped me to retain the information needed to do well on homework assignments, as well as tests.

The class is simple to the degree that there are modules, homework, and a lab. Since I took this course as a mini-mester it was very difficult initially to stay on track. There is ALOT of material to cover in the mini-mester!! However, the professor is open. If there is a problem, she addresses is quickly.

Prof Brasher is a pretty cool online teacher. She checks in with you via video and replies to emails as soon as she can. She always reminds you if you haven't done a test or whatever but you shouldn't depend on her. Lots of work but its a 4 week class crammed with a full semester of work. Easy class, just set the time out to complete work.

Prof Brasher was a very solid teacher, she makes sure to be available and posts videos weekly to keep all the students updated. Obviously, the course itself is a packed 4 week course with a frick ton of homework and dedication needed but the material isn't hard. She is also pointed at keeping you on schedule which is in your favor for sure.

I took this hybrid course during the summer, and it was a lot of work. She knows it's a lot of work, but tries to help out as much as possible. It is definitely neccesary to read the book to get a good grade in this class. Science courses are naturally boring to me, but Mrs. Brasher made this class fun and she uses funny examples at times.

Professor Brasher will go out her way to make sure you understand the material. She makes sure point out the things that you will see on the exams during lecture and lab. There is a lot of homework assigned through masteringbiology but it does help with understanding the material. She makes biology more tolerable.

The structure of the class is very simple and easy to follow so as long as you stay on track and time manage, you'll be fine. This was a hybrid course so the lecture is online and the lab is twice a week at Lone Star. I was expecting the lectures to be a video, but they're just lengthy PowerPoints with content straight from the book. Not too bad.

Professor Brasher was very good at making sure the whole class was on the same page, and made things as clear as possible. Outline of class and every assignment is very clear on her syllabus. In fact, I am taking her for the fall semester for another science class. She is super funny and makes the lectures relate to your everyday life. This is hard class but she makes it SO worth it.

DONT take this class, the professor knows the material but I was in a NON major class and she made it like it was a major class, the tests were difficult even if you study, gives only review for the first 2 tests and after its on you, out of the 4 classes that I was taking this class was so overwhelming and because all the things you got to do.

Doctor Brasher is a very enthusiastic professor which will teach you differently from other professors. She tries to prepare you for your academic future. This class was very fun and enjoyable. I do not recommend if you do not have the time to do work online. She is very fast pace and does not wait. She won't exceed deadlines or due dates. If you like a fast pace and online work she is the one for you.

I am going to start by saying that this is a biology course you have to put an effort in order to make a good grade. Dr. Brasher makes the lectures fun to learn and you don't feel lost during the class. The labs are fun and informative. I took her hybrid class, lecture material and lec exams were online. Prof. Brasher can go off topic a few times but can go right back to the lecture for lecture day. make sure to write your own notes and study them a week ahead of time because if you don't take good notes and study for them, then you will not pass the exams. She does give out reviews but has to make your own for exams 2-4.

I took the hybrid class - you need to keep up with the online portion. If you need clarification on anything she will take the time to explain it to you, on top of all the videos she posts on various topics so you get a few different explanations of difficult topics. Keep up with the homework and go over the reviews and you should be fine!

Dr. Brasher has a passion for biology. I took this class as a hybrid, lecture online and lab on campus. Her exams are difficult so you will need to really study for them. Took hybrid as a retake since it expired. Yes, it was hard as in person. There is so much to learn to prepare you for future courses, which Dr. B helps you accomplish. Take notes in lab she explains things in detail and it will help you for the exam. There is a lot of homework for lab and lecture, but you will learn and it helps with overall grade.

Dr.B is a great professor, you can tell that she is very knowledgeable. I first took her class for A&P1, she was so great that I decided to take A&P2 with her. I have a difficult time staying focused and shes not boring at all, she made learning a bit easier for me. I made Bs in her class (Im not that brilliant, not her fault I didnt get an A)

The class was a hybrid with lab once a week. Dr. Brasher is a fair professor who cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Exams come straight from her lecture notes. Reading the book helps a lot. She is lenient on lab practicals with spelling. Study Modules assignments are time-consuming & do not help much with preparing for the exam.

I took this class as a Hybrid course and it really worked well for me. Dr. Brasher gives good feedback during the lab that meets once a week, so good time to ask questions. I took a hybrid BIOL 2401 course with Dr. Brasher and I learned quite a few things. Although her class is quite difficult, if you study, do your work, and manage your time wisely, you will do just fine! The only homework we received was Mastering A&P and the pre-labs. Dr. Brasher's love for Anatomy and Physiology is evident through the manner in which she teaches. The class overall, is not tough if you do what you are told: the mastering homework, study modules, pre labs, labs, lecture exams and lab practicals. Listen during class as a lot of the things she says during labs pop up on the lab practicals.

You can tell she really cares for her students and wants them to succeed. She makes time for her students and has flexible office hours. She really knows what she is doing. For a three hour class she uses most of the time and tries to make it enjoyable.

I took Professor Brasher as a hybrid class and although we only met once a week for a three hour lab, it was tough. The lecture part of the class was all online, and only posted as powerpoints, which made it difficult to comprehend. Online Mastering A&P is a MUST, and its a lot of homework.

She's a great Professor and really funny, but the times that she has spoke in her lectures, she has gone off tangents and we go completely off topic sometimes putting her personal life as examples in Bio. She relies heavy on group work whether it's lab work or a lab practical, you can't do anything by yourself.

I took Dr. Brasher in a hybrid anatomy class. She is a funny person and loves to talk and she is very passionate about what she's teaching. Tests are online and require webcam monitoring. In-class labs are once a week. Pay attention to small details she mentions in class because they can be bonus questions on tests. You have to work for your grade.

There were no tests, except for a weekly open-book chapter quiz and study module. Unfortunately, her lecture ppts were from pearson so they tend to be 100+ slides. There's also a diet analysis project. You were required to participate in discussions on vid-docs that shoved veganism instead of the chapters. Easyish, but didn't learn anything.

Dr. B is great! I took her 8 week Hybrid class, and like all the other reviews, she doesn't give grades out. You honestly have to work for it. But be aware and take advantage of her EC that she gives out. NEVER skip class. Time management is key, it's a lot of material, but once you manage your time and stay organize, getting an A is very doable.

I took prof Brashers A&P 1 spring 2018 (8-week course). I left this class knowing so much about A&P and I got a 96% on the A&P section of the HESI. She is a very good instructor. Dont expect a handout bc you will have to work for it. The homework is time consuming so dont fall behind, attend every class and use the you tube videos to study.

I took her for an 8 week hybrid nutrition class. She is awesome!!! she cares about her students and engages a lot.

I took this class as fully online 100%. It is ALOT of work. If you take it online, you have to be disciplined. I had a medical emergency and she was so understanding. I got to take my tests at home. Very quick at getting back with you via e-mail. I would take her for another a&p class.

This was it woman class and all I can say is that there was a lot of work to do and a lot of material to cover but she gives you enough time to get it completed. Do you have to be disciplined and always be on top of what is due and when it is due because you can miss things. I will definitely take her class again.

If taken during a normal semester this is a straightforward science class that's easy to pass. However I DO NOT recommend this class for a minimester. There's a TON of memorization in Anatomy, something due almost everyday. About 80-100 ch. questions, 80-100 hw q's, plus labs. It is a monumental example of Man's arrogance that this class exists.

Took the professor for the May mini course 4 weeks and wow was it very demanding. Would spend 6-8 hours a day doing work, very stressful, overall I am glad I choose Professor Brasher because even though a lot of work was demanded it was very clear what we needed to do. Just know that no matter what you can achieve it if you work for it.

Dr. Brasher truly cares about her students' success. This class is tough. If you aren't in the habit of studying or you are very busy, it will be a challenge. The class I took was hybrid and I would have preferred in-person lectures. That's why I rated lower. She will meet with you during office hours if you need it. She doesn't try to trick you.

She is super organized. The way she teaches us is extremely easy to understand. It is a summer class so I don't expect this class will be easy. However, you have to work to earn grades. She won't give free points. But we do have chance to do extra credits, which is super worth it. Highly recommend.

Took this as a hybrid course and would definitely recommend! Dr. Brasher creates a great learning space and encourages participation. She also has neat shortcuts on how to remember things, which is helpful for exams. She actually cares about whether or not you're retaining the info, so don't be afraid to ask questions! Also gives great life advice!

Great teacher. Took her for A&P 1 in the summer one. Best 6 week class I've taken ever. The work is hard but you will stay afloat trust me. Make sure you study, especially for lap practicals. Tests are lengthy but as long as you go through the lectures you will do just fine. 10/10 teacher but attendance is mandatory, if you don't go you wont pass.

Professor Brasher was an amazing anatomy and physiology professor. She does require a lot of work on mastering, but overall she has a clear grading system that totals to 1000 points at the end in which she drops a lecture exam and some homework. I recommend taking this professor to actually learn the physiology of the body.

I took Dr. Brasher for a 6 week hybrid class, so because it was a hybrid class we had so much homework that took up most of my time out of class and lab exercises that take up to a few hours to do but if you do them all correctly it helps boost your grade. This class was very tough and overwhelming but if you study and put in effort you'll do fine

I took this class during summer 1.I do not recommend it to everyone. It can be very stressful at times. If you dont let yourself fall behind and dont miss ANY days of class you should do fine during the summer session. There is a lot of homework but its not hard. I love Dr. Brasher she a good teacher and she is very funny.

I took her 8 week Spring hybrid class for A&PI, prepare to do a lot of work. Not necessarily difficult stuff, just a large quantity of assignments. (Which prepare you for her tests). This was the only class I took, I spent about 2 hrs a day for 8 weeks doing homework and studying and got an A in her class.

I chose Dr. Brasher based off other reviews. You will dedicate all your time for this class. (I did an 8 week A&P1) However, as long as you give your time and try, she will meet you half way. I can not tell you how many times she had to explain things in a variety of ways so that I could comprehend. She is extremely fair in grading.

Dr. Brasher is an amazing professor for science I have taken here. I took her hybrid 8-week class, you WILL HAVE TO STUDY, especially if you take the 8-week course. you cover a lot of material but it is relevant to the lecture and lab exams. she does not make study guides for the lecture exams but I do recommend using the powerpoints and outlines.

The 8 week course is super fast pace (You have an exam almost every week)! This is not an easy A, but it is doable! I didn't buy the textbook. I just went off her lectures and anything she say in class is most likely important and is going to be on the test, so go to class! She know the class is hard, but is willing to help in anyway!

If you stay on top of studying the lec info, the hmwk & show up for ea lab w/ pre/post labs completed, you should do well. Dr. B wants you to succeed. Ask for help & find study buddies! Quizlets!

Dr. Brasher is so caring for her student. Her grading is fair. Giving lots of extra credits. Be prepared to give all of your time in her class if you want an A. This class is definitely not easy but doable. Pay very close attention in her class time, record it if you can. read her powerpoint and textbook. Your texts are your close friends. hug it

if you skip class you will not only miss the material being presented that day but you will also miss the chance of turning in your homework. Regarding homework, you will have enough homework to help you study and pass the class, don't leave out her powerpoints they are extremely helpfull, read the book for areas you dont understand

Heather Brasher is a great down to earth teacher! Nothing she done in class was unexpected, she helps you along the way with makeups, and extra credit opportunities! But I would recommend to not take an 8 week course in this clas IF YOU ARE NOT A SCIENCE MAJOR, and cant grasp the material! Its truly fast pace and I struggled the whole time PSYC��

I already have a bachelors in science but she treats this class very seriously. Go to class, learn and study, study!!!!!!She is very knowledgeable. She is to fast, she has high expectations, she grades hard, she rants and complains about her stressful situations when she was in college and she makes the class hard for us because she had it hard.

I honestly liked her. She's very talkative and encourages you to participate in class (she doesn't put anyone on the spot though - for my shy peeps out there). She aims to teach her students how to look at everything with a critical eye. She gives a LOT of extra credit.

She really cares about her students. I have a bachelors degree in biology but need to take classes for nursing school. There is a lot of work but it was easier than my university classes and it's an 8-week class. Because there is homework, the test do not count for as much. She is working to get you ready for the next step. I respect that.

Shes adamant on making sure you know the material she is giving you and is also very understanding about complications that may arise throughout the course

Using the homework and dynamic modules as main source for studying, everything on exams is totally fair. Having said this, I spent A TON of time doing these assignments. Taking time on these ensured that I learned the concepts that were going to be tested. And generally, if I understood the modules, the tests and homework came much ore easily.

You should take her it's a easy A.! You have weekly chapter quizzes and study modules. You get to pick the movies your assignments are over through the 10 movie poll. There are pre-questions over the movie then you make a flipgrid to tell the class what you learned from the movie..

This was online, so there is a lot of reading, Connect HW , labs, and physiology labs. 20 chapters, 5 exams, 2 lab practicals, several online labs. Be ready to work. Dr. B is personable and professional! She provided extra content for learning. Loved her.

I took Dr. Brasher 100% online. Her class is very organized and easy to follow. It's not an easy A you have to work HARD for it. Her class basically consumes your whole life but as long as you keep up with your assignments & do at least 1-2 a day you'll be fine. She will email you if you fall behind, she really does care about her students passing.

You will love Dr. B however you must be committed to this class. I did an 8 week class and I had to solely commit to all my spare time to study. You will do great as long as you focus, study and look for help if needed. I had to get a tutor to understand the entire semester but it paid off for me.

Everything is online so you can take your time as long as you turn everything in on time. She sends out weekly emails letting you know exactly what you must have done before the week is over. There are no surprise quizzes or assignments and she follows the syllabus exactly. Great professor overall.

I really liked the hybrid format - lectures were online around my schedule but labs were live so I could see material, ask questions, etc. Tests were also around my schedule. Lectures could run a little long but straightforward. She gives many opportunities for extra credit and let's you drop your lowest lecture grade in case life happens. :)

This is my second time taking Dr. Brasher for several reasons. I love the way her course it set up- she allows you to drop your lowest lecture exam, she genuinely cares about her students, she's very fair, and she gives you clear guidance on what topics to study for lab practicals.

Great professor, Difficult class. This course will take up a lot of time, so don't take it lightly and complete all your assignments ahead of time. Anatomy is a tough subject on its own, but thank goodness for Dr. Brasher! She is an amazing professor that really cares for the success and well being of students. I took this class as a hybrid, the lecture was online and the lab was in person. The lecture portion of the class consisted of lengthy powerpoints with lecture videos. I found the powerpoints to be helpful because the were fill in the blank which kept me focused. The lab portion of the class followed the lab manual entirely.

She really cares about us learning the material. The lab portion tended to run long because she's not the most organized. I like that I could do the lecture portion around my schedule. Don't take it lightly it is a lot of work and you have to study a lot if you want to succeed. I preferred reading the book over watching her video lectures.

I took this online- one thing Dr. Brasher did was send weekly videos with helpful information on what materials to be working on that week. She responded quickly and always helpful when addressing concerns or questions. The work is cut and dry, if you pay attention and learn it is easy to make a good grade on basically everything. Dr. B was a wonderful professor. she gave great feedback as well as informative lectures. I wish this class was a regular session rather than 8 weeks because I wanted to learn more!!! This class was helpful to me personally because I learned a lot of useful material. Loved the GIS group project! Learned a lot of other presentations!

Ms. B's class was great, she is a very expressive and energetic teacher. All test and quiz and final were online, there's no timer and they are all open so you can totally get ahead and do as many as you want . In class we watched movies and had discussions, she gives you a grade for participating so you must speak up at least twice.

Dr. B was an awesome professor for Nutrition (BIOL 1322). Shes super funny and really nice; I enjoyed going to her class. 99% of the work is online, the only thing you do in class is watch nutrition movies and discuss them with the class - it really just brings nutrition to the "real world" vs just in the book. Overall, its a pretty easy class.

After taking a traditional 16 week A&P class and not doing so great I figured Id give an 8 wk course a try, Glad I did. Professor Brasher is funny, relatable, and incredibly knowledgeable. She breaks things down in a manner that no matter your learning style you can understand the material shes covering. Lots of homework but it does prepare you.

I took an 8 week hybrid class. So its a lot of material in a short time. Dr. Brasher is very organized. Thank god, otherwise I don't think I would have done as well in this class. She is quick to put grades in and offers a lot of opportunities to earn bonus points! If you don't put in the time and work hard in this class you will not pass.

I took a 8 week class, there are TONS of homework. I haven't taken a science course for YEARS AND I AM able to hang in there. She gives plenty of opportunity to get extra credit. There are 4 exam, 4 practical exam, and one final. She drops the lowest exam. If you wanna pass you have to do all homework and study all of her power points.

I cannot stress enough how much of a luxury it is to have Dr. Brasher as an instructor. Having taken her 8-week courses consecutively was tough, and you will HAVE to work for it if you want to do well (especially with a hard subject in Anatomy). I loved Professor Brasher class super easy. You do have to purchase the online access code and every week you have modules and quizzes due but are super easy. I took a hybrid course and watch movies and had discussions about it. VERY INTERESTING!

I took the 8-week course and it is a TON of work! I recomand taking the course if you are able to only foucs on this one or two. If you do the work proivde and focus on the powerpoints you can pass the class fairly easy but it takes hours of applying yourself each day.

A&P 1, 8 week hybrid. Dr. Brasher wants you to truly understand the material, not just pass the tests. She expects you to be able to create a review yourself. In the hybrid, the lab practicals are in person and the lecture exams are online and recorded via webcam. One of the easiest BIOL I've taken despite being only 8 weeks. Learned a lot.

Dr. Brasher was a very fantastic teacher this semester. Im taking her for biology 1322 which is nutrition. She is really wants you to understand the material. She explains everything she does thoroughly which I love. I learned a lot in nutrition this semester and its all thanks to her.

She's a good lecturer, funny, and makes complicated things simpler. There's a lot of homework but it's 1/3 of your grade and can bring up test/lab prac grades. I took Dr. B for A&P1 8 week hybrid. She puts powerpoints online along with her personal notes to help better understand the material. The tests are pretty simple if you put in the work and actually study for it. Labs are easy!! Dr. B truly wants everyone to succeed but will not just hand out the grade, she'll give you what you work for.

Dr. Brasher is a delight as a teacher. The amount of homework is a lot. I spent a lot more time on this class than I would have ever imagined. It may be more manageable in a 16 week session. The exams are difficult. If you do all your work, you should pass but if you are one to procrastinate, you will struggle.

She really is one of the best teachers I have ever had, She really explains all the concepts well. The homework load is a lot as I took an 8 week class. The tests are hard as well but I think that helps you learn the concepts more. Was super stressful but overall I feel I learned a lot.

proffesor B. was such a caring person. i took the 8 wk hybrid class not going to sugar coat anything you have to work for your grade its not easy. she gives reviews for the lab practicls which are spot on and the lecuture comes from most of the homework and DSMs.

The class is straight forward . She tells the class what is expected of them, the syllabus also has the itinerary for the class and nothing changes. The class that I took was the 8wk coarse. If you follow instruction you should not get anything lower than a B

I took the 8 week hybrid course. It was a lot of work but Dr. B also had plenty of additional study resources. You dont really need the book, just her links/vids, ppt, notes, module. She comes up with really odd analogies but it helped me remember the information. She's a funny character but she does tend to get side tracked often during class.

Dr. B is very approachable. Anatomy is anatomy and you have to learn it. This was a hybrid class with lectures online and labs in class. Do your homework. Dont get behind. It is a lot but it will help you if you keep up with the homework. Lectures are recorded so you can listen to them and re-listen if need be. This helps.

I took Dr. B's 8 week A&P hybrid class. I would not take it in conjunction with a hard class, it requires a lot of studying and time. Take 16wk if you can! Video lectures can be quite long, condense the material yourself. Exams were mostly from the lecture videos so they are important! I studied hard and the A was achieved. Exams very often!

The videos of her lectures were extremely helpful it made it so easy for me to take notes and learn the material at my own pace. Her videos were straight forward and all the information in the videos were essential in the class and exams. The homework was also a very helpful tool. You really learn the info and she doesn't try trick you.

She's a great professor! If you are going in to the health field, I think this class is very good representation of how grad school might be like for your health profession. Very fast and quick! Every day was a new lesson/chapter, so be able to keep up and stay ahead of your work.

While her tests may have been on the difficult side, you can easily pass just by showing up, participating in labs, and doing your homework. She cares about her students, makes herself available, and really pushes for each students success. I would happily take her again!

A&P II is a FAST class. You won't need the textbook, but you WILL need to set aside a min of 20-25 hrs/wk for studying, especially if you are taking the hybrid class. You will end the class with a solid base of knowledge. It's homework heavy and it's time consuming. Be organized and stay ahead of the due dates, if possible. Great class and prof!

Dr. Brasher makes sure you have all the materials you'll need in order to pass the class, it's just up to you to utilize them. Her exams are pretty tough, but you are able to take them at home with a lockdown browser and webcam. She is easy to get in touch with outside of class and has no problem helping you understand the content. 10/10 recommend

Great professor! Really goes the extra step for students. She is very involved in the campus & constantly reminds us of great opportunities. Lots of daily grades (which may seem annoying at first) that help cushion your test scores. Doesn't round grades but provides so much EC that if you don't get the grade you wanted, you didn't work hard enough!

There is 4 tests and a final that is cumulative. 14 weekly homework and evaluations due. The test can be taken at home but you have to use your webcam. A LOT OF EXTRA CREDIT!! In fact, if I removed the extra credit from my grade, my 98 avg would drop to a 91!! She is very loud and energetic. She makes videos on request to help show students how to.

Took her as a hybrid course, and she honestly made the labs pretty fun and interesting there way never a dull moment. She does give plenty of opportunities for extra credit and she is very straightforward with her grading system and her expectations from the very beginning. If you miss class there is no way you will pass this class.

I've taken her for both A&P 1 and 2 (8 week course); I recommend taking her for both if possible the course work flows and helps you out in the second part A LOT! Its and 8 week course so their is a lot to do in the time frame but its doable if you are a willing to put in the work!

If needed, professor Brasher gives great feedback. You are only allowed two absences before you are dropped from the course and shell make that clear. The grading criteria is also very clear, the class is an easy A if you stick to your work. I wouldve had a better grade if I wouldve payed more attention, thats how easy it is.

I've taken her for A&P1 and A&P2 8 weeks course. There is Tons of HW but it's not impossible. She give many opportunity for extra credit to bring your grade up. A&P is a difficult course no matter who you take. I would rather take Dr. Brasher then trying to take a easy Professor and not understand nothing. She guides and teaches during lab. awesome

I believe anyone can pass this class if there is effort and time put into it. Since it was an 8 week course, there were tons of assignments, along with Mastering homework due weekly. BUT overall, there are many extra credit opportunities. YOU can do it.

This is my first time taking a hybrid course and it was better than expected. She offers many extra credit opportunities so take advantage of it! Overall, if you work hard for it, you will pass!

Great teacher! Awesome lectures, not to mention she is hilarious and gives great analogies which really helps you remember key concepts. I did a hybrid class (half online and labs at the school). She posts lots of very helpful videos. Do all the work! Lab attendance mandatory. Gives lots of extra credit, take advantage! no late work accepted.

A&P is a very hard class, but Dr. Brasher makes learning it fun. She gives amazing lectures and even has online lecture videos. Going to class is mandatory or she'll drop you. Very homework heavy but it helps out your grade a lot. Do the work and you'll do great in the class.

Dr. Brasher is a great Professor! She gives good lectures, and isn't boring. You definitely will stay awake her entire class. She knows the content is hard to grasp, and so she breaks things down in an amazing way. She gives a lot of extra credit, and they aren't that difficult to do. And also TARDINESS IS NOT OK IN HER CLASS.

Dr. Brasher is a great professor, definitely dedicated to her students, shows that she has great teaching skills. The tests are half way in difficulty some curve balls but in general if you study you'll be fine. I would've like to have more practice assignments in order to strengthen the mastery of the topic.

You can't afford to fall behind. Do some work everyday to keep up. This was an 8 week class so the information is coming fast and furious. Watch all the video lectures and print all the PowerPoint. This will definitely help you understand the content and be ready for exams. Do all the homework and dynamic study modules, every point counts.

You have to do all the homework. Every point counts in the end. The calculations are hard. So, the earlier you get it and really understand it, the better. Ask questions and ask her for help with understanding the word problems.

Any A&P class you take will require lots of work and dedication due to there being just so much material. With that said, Dr. B does an awesome job of providing you with resources to help you learn and do well in the class. Take advantage of the extra credit opportunities she gives as well. Really stay on top of the assignments and you'll do great!

Dr. Heather is a great teacher that is passionate about her students success. She gives a lots of examples with each topic for better understanding. She hilarious and her lab class sections are not boring. I took this an hybrid. At first I was scared of the calculations content in chemistry but she explained in simple terms. I will recommend her.

The class is super interesting and she gives lots of extra material for you to study but the learn smart and chapter homeworks are crazy. Do not recommend taking this class if you are working full time. I felt like I was drowning in school work the whole time.

If you're planning on taking this as a mini course be prepared to dedicate a major amount of hours to hw, labs & learnsmarts since they individually can take hours to complete and something is due everyday. Prof keeps things organized for you & responds to emails in a timely manner. Work for your A but its not a complete nightmare, time management!

I took this class a mini session, as much work as one could expect for a science course in a mini-session. Dr. B has done an amazing job putting her class together, I l never lost. She said this: "teachers don't give grades, students earn grades." Be prepared to do your part and she will do her part. Excellent experience.

I was scared doing a 4 week online class for A&P, but Dr. B was very organized and put videos on D2L every day to discuss what should be done that day, which was helpful. Fair warning though, doing this class for the mini semester, DO NOT TAKE ANOTHER CLASS; there's a lot of work for such little amount of time. I would definitely take her again!

I took A&P as a 4 week mini for the summer, and it requires a lot of your time. Be sure to clear up your schedule so that you can dedicate your time and attention to this class. Dr. B was by far one of the best professors I've had. Shes fair, personable and helps her students succeed. She went above and beyond for me.

let me be clear. I took a&p in 4 weeks! with lab... so yes, this was intense, challenging, and time consuming. I worked from 10 am - 10 pm and had maybe 2 hour break in the day. I was going to drop out of the class, but i pulled through with a B. You can do it esp the 4 week course. DONT slack and get to know the Prof. SHE CARES. The final was ok.

She was a great professor. I took the BIOL 2404 mini-mester with her. She gave a lot of positive feedback, and she was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. There was a large course load, given that this is a science class and only four weeks. Her class is very organized, and I would recommend taking her for this class.

Took her in the mini mester and of course it was super overwhelming due to there being so much work to complete in only 4 weeks. However, Professor Brasher had it lays it all out for you and whether or not you take care of business is on you.

This professor makes videos explaining the assignments (which is helpful if the syllabus seems confusing to you.) She also tries to help you by dropping a few low grades.

I took this professor due to the great reviews, however people failed to mention at how much extra work she gives you. I get this is a summer course, but I have never taken a summer course where it was this difficult that it's hard to keep up. You have to study about 4-6 chapters a week. Lab exams/tests are every wk! DO NOT TAKE HER FOR SUMMER!!

Lecture exam every week -timed, with essays, through a webcam lockdown browser, so you cant use your notes. Lab practicals every week -free response style. Lots of hw, takes a lot of time to do. Really hard to keep up in this course, especially if taking with other courses during an 8wk. Professor talks a lot about her own life, lowkey annoying.

Dr. Brasher gives clear grading and gives extra credits which helps raise your grade a bit. Be willing to read a lot and study at least 3 hrs a day. Her class is not an easy A class for lazy students, but if you study well A is very much attainable. Enjoyed her class and would take her next Biology classes.

6wk course. Lots of HW is given which takes up a lot of time. The exam questions are very similar to the HW. Exams are given through a lockdown browser AND a webcam, she does not allow notes. The "environment check" for exams is annoying. This class will take up a lot of time. I think she makes it difficult to prove herself as not just a CC course.

8wk course. Lots of time consuming hw. (4) Exams which have essay questions, take through lockdown browser and webcam, 70-80questions. You really need to study for them. Hw helps on exams. (4) Lab practicals are free response 50questions . Reviews provided for practicals. Cumulative final. Very time consuming class & you have to really put in work

I took this class during the summer session as hybrid. Dr. Brasher is a caring individual who will try her best to make you get the grade you want. She is very open and tells great stories that are truly inspirational. On thing that was extremely useful was the lab exam study guide that she provided. She should do the same for the lecture as well.

This is a 6-week class so lot of work. Expected since it's summer. Dynamic study modules and homework to do since we do not come to class. First test is open-note and book. The rest are not. Exams are 70-80 q with 2 essays (pick out of 5-8 questions). If you study you'll be fine. If you are lazy, don't take her. He lectures in lab and makes videos.

Took it during summer (6 weeks). Lots of material and it is not easy, but she is a fair professor, who teaches well. If you put in the time, you will get a good grade. Do not skip classes or you will find it difficult to pass. She gives extra credit on everything, so she doesn't curve. She's nice overall.

I took BIOL 2401 with Professor Brasher during the 6 week Summer Session. I will admit that this class is very demanding and very difficult; due to all the material being condensed into 6 weeks. However, she made sure that we all knew our stuff and was very helpful. Such a great professor, I really enjoyed her class.

Professor Brasher was a great professor. I am about to finish her 6 week Summer course. This class is hard because of the amount of information. There is a lot of homework and the course went by quick but if you are willing to put in the work taking it as a six-week class is doable. Professor Brasher makes class fun and you can go to her for help.

You must work for your grade. If you have bio/chem/anatomy previous knowledge you will do fine. You must study lots. Tests are very similar to homework and tests are only 40% of your grade so do homework assignments. She is a good lecture but gets off topic easily. Study the powerpoints and reinforce with the textbook but do not focus on the book

I took this class in the summer (6 weeks) and hybrid. Be prepared for a lot of homework but since there is a lot of homework it boosts up your grade. She gives opportunity for extra credit. The thing that helped me the most is that she gave reviews for the lab practicals so you knew generally what to expect. Overall I loved her and the class!!

You know how most professors warn you on the first day that their class is going to be x hours of homework every week and it's going to be sooo hard? Well, this is actually that class. I love Professor B, I took her Hybrid BIOL 2401 class in the summer. It was a lot of material in a short amount of time but she is willing to work with you and help you get a good grade in the class. She uploads lecture videos, which are very helpful. She has a review guide for the Lab tests but not the lectures. TAKE HER!!!

I took her class as hybrid course. If you can study without help, go on and take this course. If you can't, don't take this course. Most of the time you will have to self-study. She has a tough character and speaks very loud. So if you want to approach her with something private wait till class is over.

She makes her own PowerPoint and video. You can watch lectures at home. Its closest I've had to being in class. Guess people expect the professor to hit play for them? She lectures in lab too. Exam first one open note, first two have reviews. Last 2 she check yours. She's tough but so helpful. Webex at night with me cause was my only free time.

I took the 8-week Hybrid class, which means this course was more difficult than the standard 16-week. This course was set up very well. It is an online science class that you get to do your labs at home. Everything is easily accessible including the online text which is very beneficial to the course.

Dr. B's class is very striaght forward she follows her syllabus. She cares about her students and gives great feed back. She also gives great learning tools that actually do help. Lecture videos are great, it's like youre in class but at your own pace. Do what youre asked of and you'll do great in her class. She gives alot of extra credit as well.

This is my second time taking this class and i definitely say this time around was a lot better. The teacher is hands on and explains things step by step. I did take the course in 8 weeks so it was hard because we do so much in one week. She does give you a chance to earn extra credit. You will definitely have to work hard and keep up.

I took Dr. Brashers class for A&P 2 hybrid 8-week version. There is a lot of homework due online on a weekly basis that is to be expected with any 8 week hybrid course. During lab periods she takes time to go over what you are responsible for learning at home. She does a good job to teach you everything you need to know for the lab exam.

Dr. B was a great teacher. She does her best to see what would would work great with the class as a whole. She keeps you motivated the entire semester. She tries different teaching styles to see what would work better in future classes. Definitely her class is must take.

The 8 wk hybrid class of which we met Tues/Thurs class briefly reviews some of lecture&then lab info was tied in. Attendance is mandatory, absences will secure you a withdrawal for your GPA's protection against an F. Instructor is caring & genuinely works with you for a successful outcome, expect to work hard, you're gonna learn so much! :)

I took Dr. B for an 8 wks hybrid class where we met T/Th for lab. Lecture portion is done online with lecture videos and notes required for a grade. There are a total of 4 lecture exams (1 dropped), 3 lab practicals (not dropped) and 1 final exam (not dropped). It's not impossible to get an A as long as you study the lecture videos.

This is a difficult class on it's own, you will need to work for the grade you want. But Dr. B makes it enjoyable and she does encourage you to keep going and working hard, more than any other teacher I've had. Also unlike other teachers, she expects you to learn the information, not just learn it for the test. I would take her again if optional!

Dr.B really cares about her students. She is very accessible and attentive to student needs. She will explain things in more than one way so everyone can understand. This is an intense course so be prepared to work for your grade. She does stick to the syllabus and provides extra credit opportunities.

Took this 8 week class back to back with A&P 1, also with Dr. Brasher. This class is lecture heavy, 4 exams, 3 lab practicals, and a comprehensive final. Success is entirely dependent on the individual. Textbook was not required, but I used it to supplement the online lectures/slides, and would not have gotten an A without it.

I took her as a hybrid class. She is a great teacher! She gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit which helps. She gives great examples to help you understand things. If you plan on skipping class, dont take her. You need to be there, otherwise you will miss out on valuable information.

She is really understanding and cares about her students both academically and non academically. You have to study though. I would advise do things before the due dates so they dont pile up otherwise you would be overwhelmed. Its a fast pace class so that whats it expected. Lots of videos , pre labs, post labs, and notes but they all count.

I took Professor Brasher 3 week winter mini, she is amazing. She gives you everything you need to be successful in her class. Since it was a 3 week class you have 2 or 3 assignments due a day. 15 study modules, 15 quizzes, 1 project, and 1 final.

I took this class during a 3 week minimester, if you dont plan on getting on you computer everyday and spending at least 3-4 hours on this course then dont take in as a minimester. Heather was always available to email & emailed back the same day. Multiple reminders of due dates and assignments needed to be done.

Lots of material, some of the material was easy (did not take long to accomplish ) and some was not (took a longer time to accomplish). We had maybe 3-4 different ways of obtaining extra credit (this is one of them, do them all!). You will be downloading apps to accomplish some assignments. Follow syllabus, do assignments and ask questions.

She is a wonderful professor she has a clear syllabus. Her assignments are based off 15 homeworks, quizzes and one final exam through mastering plus she gives us five discussions over five nutrition movies at the end of the class she gives us an opportunity to receive extra credit .

Professor Brasher is an amazing professor, I did the 3-week minimester, she lets you know exactly what to do in the class, there is a lot of homework and work, but if one gets things done on time it is an easy A. You have to record flipgrid videos after watching multiple movies thout the semester, I advise to get the book as it helps a lot.

Dr. Brasher is an amazing professor that loves what she does and you can definitely feel that in the way that she teaches! I took her for the online 3-week Nutrition class and despite it being so short, it was totally doable. Do the readings because they will help with homework and quizzes. Everything is in the syllabus from the first day of class!

Because it was a 3 week class, it was too much work but if you do 1 chapter a day, one could easily be done in about two weeks. Assignments were mainly done through Pearson and flipgrid. Both great sources. And the only thing I have to complain about are the quizzes that were a bit hard and more time consuming and don't tell you when you're right.

The class wasn't so hard, even if it was a 3-week course. All assignments were up the first day. The professor encouraged us to get ahead if we have time. There was extra credit that could be received also. Grades are up pretty fast, so you know where you stand throughout the course.

This class is very easy if you put the effort in. The professor is very organized and time-efficient, she will respond to any questions really quickly. Participation and attendances matter in her class, there's a lot of modules, quizzes, and video discussion, but with a constant reminder that the professor gives us every week.

You will need a online course for mynutrition in order to access all the homework. You do not need to buy the textbook. I used the e-book. Also there is a lot of discussion questions about movies that will need to be answered through videos but overall the assignments aren't too bad. i would take her again. Very responsive through emails!

I took this course as a 3 week minimester and I have to say it was by far the easiest A I have earned. If you want a class where you can just slide by then this isnt the one for you, because Professor Brasher does check the times you sign in to D2L. The work assigned is a lot but none of it is hard to do. Overall, a caring and organized professor.

Dr. Brasher is a very funny, caring, and intelligent professor. She loves to use analogies to help explain the material in an understandable way. It's a class where you honestly just put in the work, and you will do well. Dr. Brasher doesn't play any tricks or games, she teaches you the material so that you KNOW the material. Keep up w/ HW!

I took the 8 week hybrid class. There are 4 tests (lowest is dropped), a cumulative final, lab assignments, 4 lab practicals, lots of homework, and lots of extra credit. It was a lot of material and work, but it is definitely possible to get an A. Lecture notes are more helpful than the book. Professor is great and helpful! You will learn a lot!

This was a hybrid course. She is AMAZING! I've had many professors from a 4-yr univ. but she has topped ALL of them; truly cares about student success & teaches material so well. Lab & lecture exams so you will need A TON of study time. Homework is heavy & graded, so DO IT ALL. Some EC so take advantage of that. You will be successful if you WORK!

Professor Heather makes her lab and lecture time interesting. She finds multiple ways of explaining things based on her students learning capacity. Her test do come from the chapters as for lab tests they are based on the list of things she gives instead of learning everything on the lab chapters. She does give extra credit try to do all of them.

Dr. B makes the learning experience fun. Coming to class is never a chore, and the time spent there is engaging and focused. You will work hard in this class, and your level of discipline will reflect in your grades.

Dr. B is a wonderful teacher! This class has a lot of material but having her as my teacher really helped me. I feel like instead of cramming all the time I actually learned something! She has online lectures that (most of the time) has a video of her talking and explaining things which is wayyyy better than trying to decipher the boring book.

Dr.B is an amazing professor. She cares about her students success. She provides a lot of helpful PowerPoint and videos to help us understand the material in a better way. The assignments are very straight forward, if you need any help contact Dr.B, she is very supportive and it is easy to get ahold of her. I would definitely recommend taking her.

I took the hybrid 8wk course. Such a helpful Professor, very understanding, and shows you how to navigate through her class. There are four tests of which 1 is dropped and four lab practicals. Decent amount of homework and extra study sections to help quide you. She makes her class enjoyable, I'd take her again.

She amazing I love the way she sets up the class. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities she gives you pencil when you do well in an exam and she is also very clear when it comes to explaining new material

Dr. B is a very good professor. She helped me learn a lot by providing a ton of materials. Online videos are very helpful.

She wants you to learn the materia, and she will do it in different ways, using examples or your body. I like this teacher because she is always responding to our questions, or emails. I really like the way she teach and I will definitely take a class with her again :D

I took Dr. B for an 8-week hybrid class. Same amount of material is covered as in a 16-week course, so If you aren't disciplined or wont have time to study, don't take this class. Attendance is mandatory for each class. Offers extra credit, and will drop your lowest Lecture Exam. She has great lecture videos with most lessons! She's great!

I took Dr. Brasher in a 8 weeks Hybrid course. Although there is a lot of information, she picks out what is most important and tells you. Very time consuming work due to amount of material. But she is willing to do anything to help. Drops lowest test, assignments. Exams and Practical almost every other week.

I loved her class. You really can't be lazy and procrastinate or not you will not pass. It was a fast pace for A&P but you can genuinely tell that she loves her students and cares for them. You won't regret taking her!! You will also need to put in the effort to make an A. She gives a good amount of extra credit opportunities!!

Heather Brasher was an amazing professor to have. I took the online 8-week anatomy 1 class. Her lectures where straight forward and let you know everything you needed to know for the exams. There are 4 exams and a final exam, and the lowest test grade gets dropped. She offers many extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. Great Professor.

I took her for an 8-week hybrid class that got converted to completely online. Honestly, I wasn't sure I'd be able to keep up with all the work, but everything was clearly put out with dates on them which was a great help to stay on schedule. You need to make sure you take your notes and follow lectures to make sure you have the right information!
