Tests are easy but I think I messed up on first one because I studied more from the book then I did the class notes and she put more class note questions on her test. Very funny when she teaches and down to earth, relates to students well and very helpful if you need it. Next time ill study more of my class notes though.

Constitutional Law. Probably one of the best classes I ever took. Lots of work and analysis. We marched through the whole 700-page book. But debate was lively, informed, fun and fascinating. Dr. Frederick kept things moving and on point. If you like a challenge and really learning at same time, this is it.

Amer. National Gov't. Class could have been boring but she was a great prof with a great personality. I actually enjoyed going to her class. Didn't need the book at all and make sure to go to class because everytime you miss, you lose points. But still, great class! Easy!

This class is easy. Just go to class and takes the notes she doesnt really give that many. The notes are exactly whats on the test and you either will play a review game or get a study guide before a test. The bonus is really easy too.

I loved Dr. Frederick's American National Government class!! Show up every day and write notes and it's an easy "A" as long as you study. Excellent instructor. Class was writing intensive, but that was expected. Class participation was required and fun. Dr. Frederick gave each student the chance to express their political beliefs and ideas while providing her own opinions.

Love this lady! Teaches you like you are from a foreign country, so its very easy! attendance is taken daily, cancelled class a few times, exams are multiple choice expect a few names here and there. Very easy to understand, just take the time to study and go to review days!!

This class is not difficult by any means. The homework is done online and you have one assignment a week. The test questions are all from the notes in class. Dr. Frederick is entertaining and inspired me to pursue a minor in POLS. During my semester, I had the class canceled a few times, too. If you show up, it's an easy-A.

Dr. Frederick is one of the best professors at SRU, but this class was very hard. It focused heavily on writing papers and debating. The debates were group projects every week which was miserable. If you go talk to her in her office hours, though, it is clear she genuinely cares about the success of her students and will do what she can to help.

Dr. Frederick is amazing. She made class enjoyable. The tests were super hard at first but then when she saw how many students were struggling she changed the format make her criteria clearer. She obviously cares about making sure her students understand all the material. Very thorough grader with helpful feedback. Truly one of the best professors.

This class has 4 main parts to it. As long as you do the papers and the quizzes, you'll be completely fine. My biggest advice would be to not procrastinate with the papers because it will come back to bite you in the butt. She's a reasonable grader and realizes you have other classes. I definitely would take her again.

FYRST Seminar with Dr. Frederick was probably the easiest and least stressful class I've taken. She's very funny and easy to gain information from and get ahold of outside of class.

Dr. Frederick is great! She is very caring and understanding while also pushing students to do their best. Dr. Frederick makes class engaging and her lectures are not complicated to understand. She also provides lots of extra credit opportunities.

The first nine weeks are lecture based, from week ten on; debates. They give clear criteria for all their assignments. They give bonus points if you go to or participate in a debate club. My problem is how the class has exactly 100 points. So every assignment counts. It's not a bad class. They love helping students and are passionate about debate.

Professor Frederick's AMERGOV course is a challenge, but engaging lectures and valuable insights make it worthwhile. Attendance and participation are key. Unstuck ai proved useful for exam prep alongside the course materials.

Dr. Frederick is a fantastic professor! I took her for Foundations of Academic Discovery, which is a debate-based course involving a lot of partner work and group projects outside of class. There's very little homework, and she's very accessible and responsive outside of class. I would absolutely take this course again!

i had her for FAD and her version of that class is a debate class. u have to do 2 debates both for AFF and NEG side and 40% of grade. attendance is graded. if youre not good at public speaking i wouldnt take her class, because thats all you do. i didn't mind it bc she doesnt grade too harsh. shes a nice lady and swears in class and is pretty funny

For Civil Discourse, our class was conversation based and we talked every single day. It was great to hear everyone's perspectives on life as this class made us talk about things we wouldn't normally talk about with each other. I think that everyone who teaches this class should teach it like Dr. Frederick.
