Professor Graham is great! Her class has made me have a better understanding when it comes to my writing. She goes over every type of essay you will write for her class. She is really helpful but make sure you put your full effort. She really does want her students to succeed. I would definitely take her class again!

I am a returning student from 1997. Taking Professor Graham's class was a great experience. I have learned more in her class than I have my entire scholar experience. I was always scared of "English" courses, now I look forward to taking English courses.

She makes writing easier by giving a way to make paragraphs stronger and clearer. I learned a lot and since I write the way she taught me in other classes, I seriously get As on all my essays. I wish I could take her again, but English isn't my major.

This class felt more like a fun book club because she teaches everything in a really interesting way. I've never liked reading before but she's funny and knows so much that about the authors lives, I wanted to read the assignments. This class was a surprisingly good time. The teacher is willing to help with anything that you don't understand and is willing to do a 1 on 1 with students if they need assistants with essays. Their will be quite the amount of reading for the class but the assignments for the reading are simple enough.

This course if really straight forward for an English class. Expect to read an answer questions as well as write essays. The professor is more than willing to help any student who needs assistance with anything having to do with the assignments she is even willing to help 1 on 1. Definitely a enjoyable teacher that is also entertaining.

Professor Graham is my absolute FAVORITE english teacher I've ever had. I took her 1A and 1B classes back to back and had a wonderful time. She has VERY strong opinions and uses those to make her class a wonderful time, not only teaching about english but giving sage advice as well. If you simply listen to her criteria and work hard you'll be fine.

This is my first time ever taking a literature class and I really liked it. Professor Graham knows a lot of fun facts about authors and biographies so it makes you like what you're learning about. I used to not like poetry at all, or Shakespeare, but she makes it interesting. She really makes you think and form your own opinion about things.

this semester I dropped all of my classes except this one because Prof Graham was really flexible and helped me when everything went online. I didn't think I would like this class, but she makes it interesting and the homework wasn't that bad. She helped me pick a poet for my final project that I really like.

My writing skills have improved immensely after taking Professor G's English 1B class. She takes the time to answer your questions after class in a clear and direct manner. Professor Graham has been one of the best English teachers I've had in years. She gives good advice, she will go off on a million tangents, which are usually all interesting and made me want to go research more. Her class is not an "easy A", but if you do the work and (laugh at her jokes) you'll do just fine.

So easy, I did all my homework and the essays and passed. I'm not an English major so I liked that we read about California dust bowl and hippies. Extra credit was going to the museum in town and writing about it.

Overall easy enough class with a great, flexible professor who is super quick with grading! No text books required to buy since she provides everything which is awesome! Lots of reading and homework assignments though, so you have to keep up.

I am taking this class during summer and so far its been amazing. She responds quickly and is always willing to help and give feedback. I struggled a lot with my essays but she gives you the option to revise it and re submit it which was a great help for me. This professor also gives the homework assignments ahead of time.

Professor Graham is a subject matter expert on essay writing. Her teaching style is lecturer/demonstrator. Her canvas page strives to be clear and concise, but also forces a participation style of learning as opposed to an assignment style.

You can redo essays for sure, and she will regrade them for the grade u deserve, gives amazing clear feedback on how to improve your grade or assignments. Discussions must be done on time, tho. I'd suggest this Professor for sure, there are no exams, only tiny quizzes with many retakes and no time limit, and essays can be redone except the last 2.

Professor Graham is a good professor, you are allowed to re-do any and all assignments within the first 24 hours of getting a grade. Which is so helpful, and at the end of the semester there are a couple extra credit opportunities. The class isn't very hard, and you don't have to read any books which is a big plus for people who don't like reading.

This was an accelerated course, so I expected to be busy in this class. There was a good but of work to do, but honestly wasn't that bad. There was one homework assignment and one discussion post due a week then the next week an essay would be due.
