Be careful, she doesn't accept late homework. If u wanna A, u just need to make sure ur assignment is followed her instruction. Strongly recommend her for ur ESL100. Very helpful!

She gives out the power points she lectures about and you just have to study the subjects on there. The tests are simple if you study those subjects. The homework can be done by a 10th grader.

i took heather during fall semester for esl 080 and she was a pretty easy teacher, she knows what she wants from students and mostly everyone passes..essays/paragraph are sue every two weeks or so. she has a good sence of humor and sometimes makes fun of people but in a funny way.good teacher

class actually turned out easier than i thought it would be. she is nice, super smart, helpful,and definitely talented! i love talking to her and listening to her advices, her ideas are extermely useful! follow all of her instructions when doing assignments and you will be fine! dont forget to go to TLC!!!

The only thing I dislike about her it was that she wasn't very organized. Overall I enjoyed her class very much. I liked the fact that she would make us talk getting into groups and discuss our ideas. Very outgoing and her class wasn't boring at all.

I got an A in Heather's class. Heather is incredibly cool and makes ESL fun. BUT! THIS IS NOT A CLASS FOR SLACKERS! If you can't find the time to do turn in all your work, meet up at ALL the classes and at least seem like a very dedicated student, I would NOT recommend Heather. - If you do? Get her absolutely! You will learn a lot!

Awesome teacher. She is very helpful and patient. Her natural humor is making a big difference during her lectures. She makes every effort for all students to do well. She is the best English proffered I have ever taken. She is definitely a tough grader, but grades to her don't mean anything as long as you work to improve yourslef.

I got frustrated because she sometimes takes too long to post grades but she gives more feedback on essays than any other professor. She gives us class time to write and work on our essays.

Shes very good thanks to her I passed ESL 100 it wasnt my second time taking it and she helped me a lot and understood me when I needed. Just participate in class and make it fun shes very fun and gets you involve into the class so you can have fun and lear at the same time

I took ESL 100 with Heather back in 2016 and although it was a very stressful class I have to say that if it wasn't for her class I would have probably had a hard time in English 101. She might be tough with her grading, but her job is to prepare you for the more difficult classes in the future. Pay attention in class and work hard.

She has a good personality and always she looks like happy but she requires us too much homework. If you want to take easy class, don't take her class. You will be crazy.

Heather is a great teacher in the at school she has been my best proffesor who I have learned more from. I was on waiting list at the beggining of the spring semester of 2019 and she challenged me if I was going to be able to take her class and I passed with a big "A".

Heather is a good professor generally. If you have a serious attitude or an outstanding English ability or some sharp thoughts, you should take her classes! Attendence and on-time homework show respect for everyone. The vocabulary is difficult. There are some kahoots sometimes for reviewing. The only thing I don't really like is her direct methods.

I thought she would be terrible but she is very flexible and kind. Her classes are active so I couldn't just sit and text like in other courses but I started to enjoy it and looked forward to her classes.

I take this class in five weeks on Zoom. Professor was kind and funny. She put us in groups and we did a lot of work but it is not credit - it is not pressure. She corrects my spoken words. Many teachers do not do that. I am happy she does. Class is 071 - not on list

Considering the difficulty of class, teacher was fair and kind. Assignments were interesting but we got to do a lot in the class and that helps.

Funny, interesting, and accessible. Grades a little hard but lets you rewrite for a better grade.

I loved the accent reduction class. She tried to give us dialogs and extra fun stuff. Disappointed I can't take again.

So this professor was my only choice - I was worried but she works really hard to get all students to understand.. she is paitenter than other professors. Best of all, we can rewrite things as many times as we need to improve the grades. I would not have A without that. Don't be afraid - she is on your side.

A very enthusiastic, friendly, and humorous professor. As long as you attend and complete your assignments well, you will basically get an A. I got a B because I have too many assignments that I haven't completed and submitted late, I gave the difficulty level 3 of assignments, not the difficulty. and two to three essay per semester 2000 words.
