I had her for Intro Gen and Orgo, and although the class was big, she had a hard time getting around to every student. I would often have to visit her through office hours, or use textbooks to clarify. However, she does give a heap amount of work which you have to do. I would taken another professor as you can easily get it from someone else.

I asked her for assistance with my homework, to which she didn't even help me, and had the audacity to say that I was extremely rude to her, and because i'M a student it's my place to not question her. She had thick packets, and expected you to complete atleast 10 pages with showing work, and if that wasn't enough she would make you talk in groups

Honestly, the class averages were really low in our Chem classes. It would have really helped if she could have actually helped us instead of just boasting herself. There were times when she has an attitude and its just petty behavior and other times she would just not want to help you. Its either her way or the high way. She doesnt even explain

I tried to attempt to talk to her in helping me with the class work and she just ignores you. Nasty attitude honestly , SJu pays professors to just collect paychecks and dont even teach effectively . Great professor if you constantly ask her to help you. The class is huge so you have to make yourself noticeable. Lots of students in the class, and hardly enough time to get the work done. However, if you visit her for office hours she might pitch in a thing or two. Class was a knock off, but students failed the Chem exams Bc of her inconsistency.

I never really understood Chemistry and if you feel like chemistry is not your strong suit then you probably shouldnt take her class. Not only is she inconsistent but she doesnt provide proper feedback to help you pass chemistry. Well you already know the drill. Her class isn't exactly a strong suit into passing Chemistry., and it doesn't help students when you have a professor that lacks the ability to not help her students and then have a misfit about it. Majority of the time students do whatever they want and she just wouldn't care, and people that do she won't help

I just checked my grade for recitation and honestly, I put in the effort to practice all of the problems which she had administered to the class. Horrible teaching academics and doesn't have the ability of patience with students. Often yells when she believes the class is disrupting her lecture. Not our faults she cannot teach Chem properly.

As Im in class right now typing this review, shes really stuck up and a horrible lecturer. Cannot teach chem properly and is easily annoyed when people ask her questions or for help. She dislikes talking in the class, so Id avoid doing that, and staying out of her way. Has a real nasty attitude.

Worst professor. Shes very fake-nice, I can tell you that. Her class had a lot of rough material, which she didnt really cover. Youre better off studying alone. I dont know if shes genuine about helping students, but she comes off as nerve-wracking to me. I was really anxious to be around her, its like she tries too hard, and its so cringe.

Avoid if you can. She thinks that her method of teaching is approachable to students. She also complains a lot. She has a horrible attitude if youre confused about something or has a question. She gives you A LOT of work, and its so unnecessary, because it doesnt do anything. If you try to ask something, shell be the rudest person ever.

I had her for a chem. lab. Didn't really bother asking her much because she comes off as very intimidating prof. Lab final was easy, however I wouldn't take her class again. She has a mean attitude. I did really well in the chem. lab portions though! Your partner will help you with everything, and you're better off alone than asking any questions.

She has a hard time teaching very big classes. Chances are that you wont get what youre looking for. Assigns LOTS OF WORK which arent worth the time. As much as Id like to think, she didnt even prepare for the exams which helped for our Chem grade. Class usually had low grades.

Rude teacher and doesnt provide help at all. This is so unfair. She will give you a bad grade nonetheless, and straight up ignore you. I asked her several times for help, and she merely showed once with no clarification. The class isn't big. She's rude overall, and a mean prof.

Raised your hand for hours and she will just ignore you. Very hurtful toward students and has lots of pride. Dismissed you after class and doesnt even provide office hours.

You have to read the text mostly yourself. The handouts she provided are nothing like the real exam. Study is key, and being consistent with the textbook. I find that the actual exam did not make up any of her questions or stressed anything in which she said to study.

if you had any issues with her - she would just complain about you to the department, and then show everyone what a bad student you are. horrible teaching and horrible woman.

She would complain if she didnt have it her way. A people-pleaser, that does not really care for the welfare of her students. She only concerned about having a good rating.

Hard grading criteria. Makes the class hard as well. She talks about the student behind their back, and is very hurtful toward students. Assigns too much work and cant even complete it by the end of class. Students have to fend for themselves on exams.

Very hurtful towards students. She has a way of humiliating the students if they dont understand the lecture. Class divided us into groups, and she let us do homework at the end of class. I would not take her again however.

She only cared about herself and reputation. No one understand anything what she was saying in the class. We all had to help ourselves. She also humiliated students if they did not understand or needed help. A mean prof.

I would not recommend her as an instructor. Her demeanor is very bitter, harsh, and cold toward students. She has a dominating and controlling attitude, and its her way or the high way; Very manipulating instructor.

If you raised your hand in class or call out to her during class discussion, she would ignore you and make you feel embarassed. Then if you say something to her about it, she will try to humiliate you. Please avoid this class, as much as you can, and the instructor herself.

All the positive reviews have been written by the prof. herself. She is not a nice instructor at all. She would yell at students in class, get irritated and then take it out on the students that wanted help. In class, she is not good at clarifying and can hardly care less about what you think;

She would assign work and then talk during the work, and then when students try talking to each other, she would call you out, make you feel bad about yourself, and then ignore you for the rest of the class. This instructor has a dominating demeanor, who feels like she needs everyone to listen to her. That's just not how it works here.

Prof Mann is a very hard prof. She does not assign homework on time. It is very hard to talk to her because she keeps rubbing her eyes.

The professor is a quick-mouth that does not take accountability for her wrongdoings. She would treat students badly and then have the nerve to defend herself against everyone. Please avoid her class because she will make issues with you and cause drama

You can be the nicest student and she will still try to find a way to make an issue with you in the class. Her teaching of method did not prepare for the final exam & students received low scores. I feel that she does not genuinely care about students grades and will fail whoever she pleases for laughter. Please avoid if you could, or drop her.
