I agree with those that say she teaches her oppinions rather than the material. If you're liberal, you'll like her. Her reviews/tests are pretty easy and the class is an easy A. But if you have any conservative morals or values, I wouldn't take her b/c she seems to be for anything liberal.

I took Professor Naylor for three of her sociology classes and can say that she is the best sociology teacher I have ever had, even after university level classes. I enjoyed them, they were easy and required little extra work or studying.

Mrs. Neyler is one of the nicest teachers I have had. She is very outgoing and makes the class enjoyable. No reason why you should not get an A if you keep up. Would deffinetly recommend her for any class.

Took her class for sociology. Very easy and a very nice woman. Go to her class for test reviews. She gives you a study guide and basiically gives you all the test answers. You have to write 5 papers. They are all one page in length but are doubled spaced. Very easy class.

I've taken all three of her classes and have passed each one with at least a B. She gives clear notes all from her lectures and she tells you EXACTLY what is on the tests on the review. (She's been known to give out candy too :P) I would recommend taking this teacher; she's funny and has a great personality.

I took her for into to soc. You have to do the gordon rule with writing a few EASY papers. She grades on grammar and spelling as well, just make an effort and you'l be fine with that. Tests she does reviews for and hands out notes to help, don't be asleep and you can't mess that up. Other than that she's an interesting person who loves her field.

I loved Naylor!! She is energetic and willing to help you at all times. I didn't buy the book and passed with an A. Im not a genius and knew close to nothing about sociology when the semester started. There was a couple small (2 page) papers ..simple!!! Reviews for every test and no surprises on them. It cant get better than that.

Took the class just for the credit for my degree. Turned out to be a really fun class. Test are right from her notes and she gives a review the class before. She is pretty liberal and encourages everyone to speak their view which makes for some great classroom discussions.

This clas is not only interesting but the professor makes learning it fun. Her lectures were interactive and she liked getting the class involved. If you study your notes, you'll get an A.

Great sociology teacher. She doesn't care about attendance, but it helps with the tests. All tests are T/F or Multiple choice. Four papers to write, but they are all two pages and fairly easy. This is a good teacher and you can get an A with moderate work. If you can't get a B, you might want to drop out of college.

Tests are completely from the notes. She uses powerpoint. She is easy to listen to and learn from and is a good teacher. Strict on attendence. EASY HOMEWORK.. but you have to do it. VERY FRIENDLY and down to earth. NOT BORING. GOOD CLASS OVERALL. I would take her again for sure.

One of the best professors I have ever had, and she relates to her students and is concerned for them. She makes the subject so interesting, the tests are easy if you just pay attention. I barely studied and I still got A's and B's on quizzes and tests cause if you just pay attention then your good. Her papers are not too long and to the point.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. She is a great professor and truly wants you to learn and PASS. Her reviews for exams are given almost exactly , meaning you are not unprepared for them you know EXACTLY what to expect. Essays are easy and quizzes as well. Only thing is I never once used the book ,but she will loan you one if u cant afford it.

Prof. Naylor is one of the best professors I've ever had. I was new to PBCC and she was by far the nicest and most helpful professor I've had so far. We hardly use the text book. Always had homework, very easy though. Had two tests (not including the final) and quizzes here and there. Didn't take the final because I passed the class with a 95%!

She is soooo easy. You have 4 test and if you have a 95% and higher in the class you dont have to take the final. Short(easy) homework assignments and one easy paper. She is so passionate and makes the class interesting! She is so funny too. Take her she is an EASY A. Just study. If you fail, you should go back to elementary! LOL

Tests and quizzes were very easy and there was one group project for the semester. Many one page papers but mostly about opinions so very easy to type. Amazing professor. I wish I could have taken her more, but it was my last semester. Show up on time, take good notes, and you'll pass. The class is really fun too - and she loves it if you participate in class discussion. A few short quizzes, two exams with class review, and one research paper on topic of your choice. Seriously, she's AMAZING.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!!!! dont need book at all for intro to sociology. if you get 94 or higher dont have to take exam. easy 10 pt assignments throughout semester, and one 3 page paper which most of us did it before coming to class. tests are straightforward. easy exam, easy questions, easy hw and super fun and itneresting class.

I even took social problems with her because her classes are so enjoyable! She is very smart, easy going, and fun! she is a strong woman! I loved being in her class! Take her!!!

What a fantastic woman. She's fair, kind, encouraging. Everything that she writes on the board, write it down! It'll be on the test. Read a few stories in the book but all tests are easy and comprehensible. She encourages freedom of speech and NEVER judges. I would take sociology just to have her again! The way this woman teaches forces you to learn. You will NEVER be bored. Her teaching style is noticeably different and interactive. She creates a warm welcoming environment, free to express opinions. She presents relative stories, research, etc. Would not hesitate to take her again and again. Do the work and get your A. You don't need the textbook. Assignments/homework/etc. are very easy and it's so easy to get an A. Naylor makes what would be a boring class very enjoyable by relating the material to our personal lives; she is hilarious and super nice AND knows her stuff so if you need/want to take sociology, GET HER!!! Professor Naylor's class was engaging and fun. She requires two papers that you will write on the library computers during class time for a grade, very easy. Some simple assignments along the way and her lectures are helpful and fun to listen to. Would take this professor again if possible.

I would not recommend buying the book. I was on the fence about it and decided I should just get it. I didn't use it once and passed with over 100%. Great professor overall, make sure to do well on the two in-class papers (you can re-write one) they're a majority of your grade.

Professor Naylor was excellence, You can really tell that she loves her job, even though in the couse syllabus it says that you need the book you really do not need it at all. You should go to class, because on her final she gives 5 point extra creadit because of attendent. Great professor definitely take her, do not hesitate.

Professor Naylor is an excellent professor who gives CLEAR instructions for what she wants, if you don't do it and don't pass- that's your own fault. She is kind, funny and really passionate about what she does. Don't push her over- she's too nice for that. I would recommend her 10/10. Also, SYG1000 is a great class with great info.

I enjoyed this class very much. There aren't too many assignments, so the ones that you do have matter but they aren't difficult. The tests also matter and I suggest studying a little bit for them but professor Naylor tells you and gives you everything you need to pass.

Professor Naylor's class was awesome! I took sociology with her and I loved it. She doesn't require the textbook and you won't need it. Just take notes on lecture days and you'll be fine. She's heavy on quizzes, but they're easy and her class is discussion based so don't be afraid to be vocal.

I am 8 classes away from graduating. Professor Naylor was my favorite college professor so far. She was the only teacher I ever had that made learning actually fun. She was the best professor Ive had. I learned so much and she taught us in a way that made me consider being a sociologist. Learned so much and she is a wonderful person overall! Professor Naylor is by far among the best professors I've ever had. She genuinely cares so much about her students and always makes sure discussions are respectful. She breaks things down pretty simply and gives a lot of extra credit. You can't just show up and pass her class, but it's pretty easy to get an A.

My advice after taking this course? Fact-check your arguments beforehand because she will not hesitate to call out your time wasting, easily-bruised ego-fueled rants to tell you why you're wrong. She is truly one of the best professors that Palm Beach State offers and I would highly recommend her to anybody.

Professor Naylor is inspirational and really good at lecturing literally everything she writes on the board will be good to study for tests and exams. Shes awesome best professor I've ever had wish i could take her again. Class is always entertaining you'll never get bored of her class. She gives you a ton of chances for extra credit. You do have to write a paper for her class but she gives you very clear instructions on what she wants you to do. Shes always around if you have questions.

Prof Naylor is such a gem. Every lecture she pours her heart into, and genuinely wants you to learn and understand. Her assignments and quizzes are not bad at all unless you actually pay attention in class & take notes. She offers plenty of xtra credit. One research paper, but gives you clear instructions on how to write it literally word for word.

This was an elective class I took and definitely take her again in the spring for another elective. Respect is earned not given, so if you don't get along with her then YOU'RE the problem. This was my very first class to take at Palm Beach State and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. She's very good at explaining things and helps you when you need it. Her work is easy as long as you pay attention in class and do your work on time. Highly recommend you take her especially if you're taking Introduction to Sociology.

Prof. Naylor is an awesome teacher. When you read the syllabus it looks like a lot of work but its not. She spreads it out. I took her online due to the pandemic and it was the easiest class Ive ever taken. You must show up for class. Follow the lecture and youll do great!

There are two 2 page papers the entire semester, a handful of quizzes, and a midterm/final. Definitely attend the lectures as you will need a lot of the information you learned for the quizzes but she makes the class really enjoyable!

Professor Naylor was by far my favorite professor this semester. Her lectures are so interesting and she really makes the class interesting. Participation matters, but with her lectures, you can't help but participate. There are rarely any assignments and when there are, they're all super easy. All quiz/exam answers are always posted on blackboard!

Professor Naylor is a great professor. She is knowledgeable, caring and always eager to help. Took her online due to pandemic. Two short papers, 5 easy quizzes and midterm and final straight from the handouts. She does a thorough reviews that are very helpful. If you show up to class and take notes the class will be easy for you. No book req.

I LOVED having professor Naylor. She's sweet and very kind to her students. She always introduced great topics for us to talk about and her work was mostly easy. However, if you don't participate or show up to class, or get your work done, it may be harder for you. If you put forth effort in this class you'll pass.

Professor Naylor is such a sweet and open minded teacher. Some assignments are a bit more challenging than others but nothing that is too difficult to accomplish. She gives great feedback and helps with corrections, especially when turned in early. Lectures are very interesting & she encourages them which makes you want to participate, I recommend!

TAKE THIS PROF! Absolutely incredible and inspiring woman. Took her virtually and she was very clear about due dates, assignments, and what to study for. She did not overcomplicate anything and truly wants her students to learn. Many opportunities to get an A. No discussions, just participate in zoom. 5 quizzes, 2 exams, 2 papers. AMAZING LADY!!!

I took all of Professor Naylor's courses in 2000-2001. She is the only teacher I still remember her classes to this day. I learned so much valuable information from Day 1. Very impactful in the way I perceive people and society. I enjoyed her classes in the moment and still think about her and the lessons I learned 20+ yrs later. Thank you!

Professor Naylor is one of my favorite professors I've had the honor of learning from. She is brilliant and is a great listener, she will let anyone say their thoughts without interrupting them, and always makes sure to respect people's opinions even if she disagrees. She goes above and beyond to help you pass and she really cares for her students.

Professor Naylor is one of the loveliest professors EVER! I looked forward to every Tuesday and Thursday to take her class. Her lectures were as interesting as they were fascinating, and she is so sweet and caring toward all her students. She is truly a genuine gem. I HIGHLY recommend taking her class, you will never regret this decision.

Absolutely love her, do not hesitate to take her, the lectures are fun, test are easy, and she is the sweetest engaging professor I have had since I started college. If I could take her for every subject I would, absolutely loved her, she does study guides and it's the same questions as the final and midterm exams. Please take her!!!!

I LOVE PROFESSOR NAYLOR. Her lectures are fun and interactive, which in my opinion, are the best kinds of lectures. She makes quizzes/tests so easy to ace with her study sessions in class that there is no excuse but to do well in her class. She is one of those professors that you really remember forever.

She cares for her students. She wants you to share your opinion. Midterms are online, and the final is in person. I only wrote 2 papers and 4 quizzes.

The semester ain't even over yet and I'm gonna highly suggest ya'll take her. She's so sweet and has a straightforward course. I took a live online class and while she loves verbal communication, using the chat is okay too, as long as you participate. I haven't had a problem yet, but I don't think I will.

I love this professor she is AMAZING!! I will be choosing her for any course that I must to take regarding sociology. Her classes are extremely easy and her lectures are fascinating. If you are shy, you are going to participate because her lectures are actually fun! Plus she is a Harry Potter fan!! PICK HER!!!! PICK HER!!!!!

Professor Naylor very clearly wants her students to succeed and understand the material. She will not hold your hand throughout the course but does explain things thoroughly, both material and class expectations. Participation is pretty important. She fosters open conversations with varied viewpoints.

Professor Naylor is one of my favorite professors so far. She is understanding and tries her best to engage her students in what she is teaching. As long as you take notes and pay attention to the material you should pass with no issues. Quizzes and coursework is easy. Very thoughtful feedback is given as well.

Very easy course, she does a pretty solid job at teaching but she interrupts a lot which can honestly get annoying. She does a great job at keeping all topics interesting and engaging. I enjoyed her lectures for the most part.
