Dr. Pease was one of my favorite professors of my first year of college. She truly wants to see her students succeed. Dr. Pease is a passionate teacher who has a great way of explaining the course material. The class took a total of 5 exams including the final. She also dropped the lowest exam grade. No homework. 10/10 recommended!

I loved Dr. Pease this summer. She was super helpful and very fast at replying. I didn't like the use of the Pearson Revel program. It was tedious and I feel like I was just completing it for the grade and not learning. Revel was down for maintenance so she pushed back some due dates, we ended up having 5 chapters to complete back to back! NO EC :(

Dr. Pease is my favorite professor. She's really passionate and incredibly understanding when it comes to the class from a student's perspective. The content of the class isn't particularly difficult, just make sure you really pay attention to the textbook for exams. Couple of papers but they were actually interesting and very clear with criteria.

Dr. Pease really wanted us to succeed and she was very knowledgeable about Research Methods. She was willing to give us tutoring for the RM Lab, which she didn't have to do. She was up front about what we were going to have to remember and made the lectures interesting and understandable. If you miss class, you need to read the textbook.

Four words: What a wonderful person. As a student with a disability, she was understanding and helpful. She always made time for me to ask questions and talk with her even with non-related course questions. She's very nice and wanted to see me succeed. Super cool professor. Very insightful. You have to read the textbook and STUDY (not just take notes). Test are kind of hard. You have quizzes almost every Saturday, but theyre easy 100s if you use the textbook and really boost your grade. Loved this class.

Dr. Pease is the most exceptional professor I've had in my 3 years of college. She uses real world examples to make you feel passionate about the material (MK Ultra). You can tell she actually cares about her students and their future. She's young and remembers how stressful college is and tries to go easy on us. Also she give LOTS of EC ops!

Not to be biased but, best professor Ive ever had. Dr. Pease made the material as easy and fun as possible and I made so many friends in this class. She cares for her students and can see when we are in need of a confidence booster. She offered extra credit along with office hours to review past exams. Do yourself a favor and take this class!

Dr. Pease was very informative and kept the class interesting. She does not require attendance but during her lectures she will point out key things for the tests. Reading was very important in this class along with notes (Lecture/Powerpoints). Discussion boards one almost every week not bad. Tests are all multiple choice but read the book!!!!

There are not enough good things that I can say about Dr. Pease. She makes you discuss hard topics and look at things from a researcher's perspective. She challenges you to think outside the box. BE PREPARED TO STUDY THOUGH. Her tests can be tough but as long as you study her guides, attend class, and ask questions you will pass. BEST. PROF. EVER!

She's a really good professor. If you need help or have a personal situation, she works with you to figure it out. Her tests were hard, so use the textbook to study and there are discussions done every other week so you have to keep up with them. Quizzes are very similar to test as well. If you have to take research methods, take her.

I took the summer course so of course everything is crammed into a few weeks. I highly recommend coming to lectures and participating in discussions because it helps with the assignments. Tests were challenging but if you go to class, the answers are there and she explains everything clearly.

One of the best professors I have had. Professor Pease makes all of the content very clear and tells you exactly what you need to do to receive an A. The tests exhaustively cover all of the information in each unit, but they aren't difficult because she teaches the material in an effective and memorable way.

Pease is an expert in her field, and it really shows in her lectures. research methods is a very difficult subject to grasp, and you have to be ready to work for your grade. however, i have learned more from her than any other professor this semester. by far my favorite part of her class was writing reviews of classic unethical research studies.

I enjoyed having Dr. Pease as a professor, she was truly one of the best teachers. The way she teaches sticks with you and she knows SO much about research methods, she's quite literally a pro. However, the tests were very difficult, make sure you DO NOT slack, review your notes right after class, READ YOUR TXTBOOK! & Do the quizzes provided.

Hands down the best professor at UNF- she's extremely patient and will have no problem repeating something 3x if you need her to. Exams are difficult, but are curved, so as long as you're putting in the effort to study and read the material outside of class you should have no problem getting at least a B on the exams. Professor Pease is an excellent instructor to take. She teaches the information thoroughly and is always open to answer any questions. There is a paper in the course, however she gives you time in class to complete it and ask any questions regarding the paper. There is a final as well as exams throughout the semester. I would take this class again!

I thought this class would be easy but you WILL need to take notes. A lot of it is memorization and you will have two 10 page papers due at the end of the semester. Professor is super nice and she does teach well, but be prepared to study for days because there is so much to memorize

This was honestly a great class to take. Dr. Pease warned us at the beginning that it was going to be hard, and it was. The lectures were interesting and she related the information to us for better understanding, along with some jokes! Expect to read quite a bit between the textbooks and your own research for the papers.

Dr. Pease is the best professor I've ever had. She cares about each student on a personal level. She is engaging, caring, and seriously hilarious. This class taught me not only about research methods but about life in general. We did outdoor activities to help us better understand the course material, and the lectures were engaging and helpful.

Dr Pease is an incredible professor. She's professional but manages to keep the atmosphere of the course engaging and fun. Do be aware that the course is lecture-based, but that the textbook and lectures often differ. Also be aware that exams are based on the textbook and not the lectures! Dr. Pease is a very polite & fun person to be around. For the lecture course we basically took notes every class & sometimes watched a video/documentary (with an assignment following it.) There are chapter "Inquizitive" assignments due the night before each unit exam, occasional discussion posts, and a final. Her course is very straightforward!

Attendance isn't required but she makes the lectures interesting. She really loves her job and this material and it shows. I would 100% recommend or take another course with her. She was a little slow with grading the discussions but will take the extra time to help anyone.

Overall, Dr.Pease class was great, she goes into detail on all her powerpoint lectures and is willing to answer and explain any concept/topic during class. The class is lecture heavy but all powerpoints are posted on canvas. I recommend going over the textbook, it is not mandatory but it is useful.

She has a very dry sense of humor, which lends itself well to discussion of appalling lack of ethics in past experiments. Additionally, I had a very difficult semester personally, and she was very willing to work with me on the academic front. Excellent explanations!

Dr Pease was a great professor to have for research methods because of her expertise in the course matter. She answers every question at length and is so chill. Every assignment we have in the class is due before the next text. The hardest part about the class was the assignments where we assessed different experiments and did an 8 minute critique.

An amazing teacher! Lectures were so detailed and entertaining. Don't be fooled the coursework is not heavy but heavy information. Make sure you are on top of your assignments as they are given a month in advance. Your video discussions and exams are majority of your grade. She didn't really answer my emails but besides that she is great!

This class is notoriously difficult, however with the instruction of Dr. Pease, the class was infinitely easier to navigate. Assignments are sort of self-paced, so beware of that! I would absolutely recommend this professor for this class, especially if it's mandatory for you.

This class was overall not too bad. There were a lot of assignments such as inquisitives, but none of them are too bad. Four exams but the lowest one is dropped plus a final. Easy to follow lectures so as long as you show up to class and stay on top of your work, it shouldn't be too bad.

Dr. Pease is really passionate and makes her lectures very engaging! I really enjoyed the class in general, but the video assignments were a bit frustrating.

Dr. Pease is very passionate about what she teaches and it makes this class easier to learn. You still have to put the work into this class and make sure to keep up with assignments but she also gives a great amount of extra credit that does have EARLY due dates. She wasn't too accessible through email or canvas so make sure to go to office hours.

Dr. Pease is amazing! She gives lots of extra credit options, and trust me, you will need them!! Her test counts for a lot, and they are difficult, but if you do the assignments and vocab, it makes it much easier.

Dr. Pease is a great teacher. She gives really good examples and connects concepts to hypothetical situations which makes topics easier to remember. The one issue I had was that she never responded to any of my emails all semester, and I sent like 3. Other than that, she is always available for help and she truly wants to see her students succeed.

Dr. Pease is a wonderful and passionate professor. She knows every dimension of methodology and guides students step by step through content and lectures. There are not many assignments, but they are immersive and facilitate development and growth in students' critical thinking skills and application. The class and her enthusiasm are refreshing!

I had Dr. Pease for Research Methods. It was definitely not an easy class, but she was very helpful, understanding, and the work isn't difficult at all, but you have to put in tons of effort and attend the lectures to take her exams which were the hardest part of the course.

This class you need to be attentive and on top of your work ethic. DO NOT wait last minute to do anything...like me. I ended cramming but I am a full-time student and full-time employed as well. This is an amazing professor, regardless of falling short/ She was understanding. It's going to be the harder class you take as a psych major but worth it.

I took research methods in psychology with Dr. Pease and it was such a experience, she's so engaging in the class to the point everyone was participating. She's such a role model for students, her exams were in person, and homework was due the night before exams. She's so easy to reach out to and offers alot of extra credit during the semester 100%

The only thing I can say is maybe word the test a little better? I feel like I can understand what she's teaching and what the book is saying, but when it comes to the test, I draw a total blank. Other than that, she's cool, the course is just hard and honestly, one of the best professors you could have for this course at UNF.

Dr. Pease is great, she tries to make sure that you are engaged in the material in different ways. Every lecture is not the same and not every week is there a lecture. Tests are difficult but she offers a ton of extra credit so you can get virtually any grade you want in the class as long as you put the work in.

She's loving, kind, loves memes, and knowledgeable. She's the first professor i've had to allow us to review exam grades and understand why the answer choice was incorrect.

Dr.Pease is amazing and knows her information very well! You do not need to read the textbook as she gives you powerpoint from them that are very good, it is how she lectures. I recommend audio recording because she can talk fast. The tests can be hard but you are able to drop one.

Very caring and understanding, although a very difficult class and very thorough lectures many extra credit opportunities can help ease it. Very passionate about the material and several interactive exercises help get the point across from the lecture. Material was conveyed clearly but definitely need to go over it, very respectful and easygoing.

She took a long time to grade things. The InQuizitive homework is very helpful for studying for tests. Lectures were engaging. Read the textbook and take notes on it!!

She is a really cool Professor and will tell you how things will work straight up but also is a really bubbly and positive person! In terms of course content and attendance do show up it will help you a lot and if you are very bad at exams get started on any extra credit assignment early as possible which is what I did, and it saved my grade.

She is an incredible professor! Definitely my favorite this semester. Her lectures were engaging, and we even had some fun activities we did (including inflatable sharks). I truly learned a lot in her class. She's also very respected and puts a high emphasis on the ethics in research. PowerPoints posted, attendance not mandatory, great lectures.

Probably the most informative course I've taken at UNF. For the exams, definitely read the textbook. 3 video assignments (last one is a course reflection). Assignments due right before exams (she will sometimes extend due dates for everyone). Lectures were helpful, so attend class too. Dr. Pease is a great professor & I learned a LOT in this class!

It is a great class. Don't be afraid to ask questions. If you do not understand something say something it is important you understand material for Exams.

Research Methods is not a free course, especially if you've only been in Psychology so far, but Dr. Pease is fantastic. She's very passionate and easy to talk to and knows how to talk on a level that's easy to understand. She can be disorganized and is prone to go on tangents, but she's an extremely available and capable professor.

If you need to take research methods for your major Pease is the best professor you can have. She has a very clear grading criteria and many extra credit opportunities to bring up your grade.

This class is difficult, but she gives multiple opportunities for extra credit so use it. To pass you need to study for the test, they are NOT easy (lowest one gets dropped). She is not good about responding to emails, so you are best off going to office hours. You will have 3 discussion videos DON'T procrastinate they take longer than you think.
