Positive living. He is really nice and gives out study guides before tests. But his substitutes aren`t very good. He has a nice accent but can at times be hard to understand if you aren`t good with accents.

You have to listen carefully b/c he has an accent, but he is very nice and really prepares you for the tests. Easy A.

he is one of the best teachers i ever had. he is somewhat funny, but he tell you information that you really need to know. the test are easy if you just answer the study guide questions that he gives you.

This is an excellent teacher. He is very funny and nice. I have recommended all of my friends to take this class for an elective. One of the best teachers at TCC.

Mr. Quinones was great! He's funny and has cute Puerto Rican accent, gives study guides so you know what's on the test and extra credit.

he's a great teacher! he gives you a study guide with all the terms you need to know for each test, so the tests are an easy A. you don't even have to come to class, except he gives you extra credit for 3 or less absences. theres a research project but its easy too- lost of chances 4 xtra credit!

Easy A- just show up the last 5 minutes for attendance, be there for the 3 in class assignments, and study the review he gives you for each test and you'll get an A.

As long as you have 3 or less absense's you get 10 pts added to your final grade, plus lots of other ways to eran extra credit, the class follows the textbook, your test reviews have everything you need to know about the test.

he is so awsome! sometimes he is hard to understand b/c of his accent, but its kind of funny. He likes to joke alot, do his test reviews and you are guaranteed an A! :)

most hilarious candid teacher i have ever had. he'll tell you stories and help you out. great teacher who makes it easy fro you to get an A. if you dont then you really screwed up. has incridible wit. watch out for the accent though. it can be a little thick, but its okay.

easy class. you dont even have to show up. just get the review sheets either off the blackboard site or from the class, and you will do fine on the tests, he makes the writing requirement a breeze. study the test review sheets well and the tests are easy.

Easy class if you do all the assignments. Oral presentation is a joke, easy A. Get the review sheets and study them. Should get at least a B if you come to class and do the work. The man is ****ish

He is a great teacher. He is very enthusiastic and knows his stuff. He is very nice but doesn't tolerate laziness. The project is a HUGE part of your grade so make sure you do a good job on it(they aren't that hard). His tests are straight from his review sheets. Study those and actually put some time into your project and you will get an A.

Interesting class. He LOVES being healthy! He doesn't have very good english though so make sure you listen to him very close!

He's super nice! Tests are EASY at first. They get harder but none are bad - multiple choice, matching and some essay questions. He gives study guides...just study them & you'll do fine. And go to class he takes roll Overall, he's really nice and the class isn't difficult! Plenty of chances to bring up a low grade! This class you WON'T stress over

This professor is fairly easy. he does take roll, but attendance is not really manditory to pass the class. i missed a bunch of lectures and still did great. filling out and studying the exam review will get an A. He drops one test, and you can make another one up with the final. easy A with little effort

ONLY THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!! He is the funniest teacher i have ever had and he makes the class SO interesting.. you HAVE to take him! The class is super easy..he takes role everyday but it only matters if you want the extra credit at the end.For the tests,which are EASY, he gives you a word for word study guide and if you do them you will get an A

One of the best teachers ever. He lectures from the study guide and the material is very easy to learn. I took him last summer in an express course and made an A. All you have to do is turn in all your papers and do well on your test which are easy.

I enjoyed him in spring. He made coming to class fun also he gives you so mamy times to redeem yourself. I didn't study and made a 89%. Just because he is a very good teacher.I advise that if anyone said anything bad about him it was because they thought by kissing his a** was going to earn you a grade. Take him he loves what he do.

Easiest class every. Goes through the Powerpoints very quickly so write fast. The test were basically what was written in the Powerpoints but worded differently. Study for the exams 5 minutes before class and u will pass. Also kinda hard to understand him b/c of his accent, but you'll get used to it

Although attendance wasn't mandatory, I always wanted to come to this class. He is extremely laid back, always helpful, and overall just a great teacher. It would be hard to get a bad grade in this class.

He's a fantastic teacher. He really knows and loves his subject matter and will stop to explain the really important parts. YOU DO NEED YOUR TEXTBOOK FOR THIS CLASS! Powerpoints and notes are almost entirely from the textbook.

Mr. Quinones is an over-all great teacher. He is willing to help and assist if one is having trouble or not. If one comes to class, listens, takes notes, and does the work( Which isn't that hard), one can receive and easy A.

He is an awesome teacher! I would recommend him to anyone. He is very funny and tells it like it is. He doesn't like cell phones in his class and will call you out on it if he sees you. But he will help and there is no way for you to fail his class.

I recommend Dr. Q! He will help you if you just ask. Just don't talk when he is lecturing. He hates that.

Dr. Quiniones is great! He is funny, and makes jokes a lot. As long as you go to class and at least kind of pay attention, you will be fine. Oh, and DO NOT talk while he is, it's one of his biggest pet peeves.

Prof Q is so funny. Sometimes he takes it a little far though but he is super easy. He gives you all the notes that you need and gives a review for each test and you can not fail the test unless you did not study the review. He is super easy and funny. I would recommend him.

Take him for positive living. He is very funny and makes the simplified material more interesting with interesting personal stories. Lets you make up a test. You do need the book (or online book). I'd take him again.

Not really interested in health, looking for an easy class for credits but my view is definitely changed now. you dont really need to take notes or come to class, he gives a study guide w the answers 7 days prior to tests. super funny and interesting. makes you want to attend class. A+ teacher

He is precious. Stay on his good side. If you miss 2 or less classes, he gives you 10 extra credit points. Turn in all the work and do the available extra credit, and there's no reason an A isn't managable.

He is awesome, helpful and very funny. No non-sense kind of guy but overall, very good. Come to class take notes and study, no problem. Gives PP outlines for book and study guides for exams.

Mr. Quinones is so funny! He's very nice and makes the class interesting. He gives you the study guide prior to the test that is a HELPFUL study guide. You need the book for in class assignments and tests. He is very helpful. There is one project, but with the guidelines given there is no reason not to get an A on the project. Or the class.

Tests are EASY! Outlines will be provided. Book is required.He goes on his mildy fast pace when presenting-not enough time to copy down everything. His accent and minor lisp may get you a little but he's pretty cool. He shares a lot of his personal stories. You MUST follow his instructions because he will not accept any excuses!

Easy class. He takes attendance, but only for extra credit. I only went to class on test days and group work days and got a B in the class. His tests are pretty much common sense and he gives you the essay questions on blackboard before the test. If you go to class everyday you should get an A.

Great teacher, very enthusiastic but does not like to repeat directions twice, attendance isn't mandatory just make sure you buy the book so you have access to the online power points. I rarely went to this class but always completed the study guides which were a huge help for the test. Passed with an A!

He is such a nice guy and really funny. His accent always cracked me up! The class is really easy, and everything comes straight out of the book. Study the study guides he makes because they are EXACTLY like the test!

One of the funniest classes I have ever taken. There wasn't a day when he didn't make us laugh. Always tells family stories! The textbook is required for 4-5 in class assignments (or a photocopy, can't get the points without it!). Only need 4 out of 5 exams (not including final) to pass class, so I didn't take the last book exam.

This class is seriously so easy. If you take notes or print them out and keep up you will do fine. Do the review sheets before the tests they really help. Make sure to always follow his directions he is big on doing it how he tells you to. But like I said nice professor, super easy class.

Doctor Quinones is an excellent professor! He cares about his students. His class do have 4 exams and one final so a lot of studying is require to pass. The study guides that he gives for the test are EXACLY how the test are!!!!!!! I mean exactly the same!!!! I WOULD DEFF TAKE HIM AGAIN!

This is an extremely easy class if you just do the study guides. I could have not shown up the whole semester and got an A just because of how explicit the study guides are (but I don't condone this and you won't be on his good side). It's pretty much just lectures and a couple of pop quizzes but he's funny at times.

If youre the type of student who only comes to class for the test then dont take this guy! He gives multiple pop quizzes throughout the semester that really hurt my grade despite Acing all the test. other than that there are 4 test and a clear cut study guide and one oral presentation in front of the class by yourself

Very funny! Class is usually really laid back. Teaches from the slides and some stuff is not in the book! Study guides are posted in advance and whatever question he has on the study guide, find the answer and that's what's on the test! Very easy class.

His class was so much fun and I actually learned a lot from this class. The book is mandatory to have and he will email you his power points before the exam, but still come to class because he will include some things on the test that weren't mentioned on the notes. He was hilarious and is a great professor I would definitely take him again.

Easy class overall if you fill out and study the study guide. Almost everything you need to know is posted on BB. Answers to the study guide are in red text on all power points. One project throughout the whole semester. Good teacher, does not like his grades questioned. Textbook is needed for in class assignments or you wont be allowed to do them.

Hector is an entertaining dude with some strange stories. He gives you the answers to the test on the study guide. If you're bright enough you could skip every day and just study the study guide and get an A or B. Although he does give a few pop quizzes that you can't make up and 1 easy oral presentation.

An extremely easy class, but you need to show up to class everyday to get an A. This is due to pop quizzes. 4 tests throughout the year worth 55% of grade, and the final exam is worth 25%. One in class presentation. We had one easy homework assignment. Only two extra credit opportunities.

Great guy! He gives a few extra credit opportunities and theres only 3 homework's! He gives you a study guide a week before the test and everything on the study guide is on the test. He also posts the slides a week before the test. He is willing to help you whenever you need! 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Q was an awesome professor. I took him for stress management. There were total of 4 assignments, midterm and a final. 2 of the assignments were optional for EC. Show up, look over the slides, and participate and you'll get an A.

One of the best professors I've ever taken! Super easy but interesting class! There are only 4 assignments for the class, excluding the midterm and final. Attendance isn't mandatory; I went to maybe half of the classes and passed with an A. Just make sure you do the assignments and read the slides and you'll pass!

Post COVID all assignments and tests are online but its still great to go to class to earn your attendance grade. In-person or online he's funny! He overshares but thats the fun part of his class. He's passionate about the subject and just wants students to be aware of the material. Nice, kind, caring, easy going, shall I go on? He's the best.

I love Dr. Q! He's super kind and helpful. I took his online HSC 1100 class—it was really easy and enjoyable. He gives 1–2 months for homework and discussions, and due dates are super flexible. Tests are open note/book with no Honorlock. Lots of SmartBook assignments, but you have plenty of time to finish everything.
