She wastes no time teaching. You sit down, she walks in, sets her screen up, and you being note taking. That's all the class is. Take notes, study, take a quiz. She has an accent, but you adjust quickly. She isn't very personal, but she seems really sweet and she is helpful when you don't understand. I did well, and I would take her again.

Heena is definitely one of the best CALC teachers at JMU. She goes fairly fast, but covers everything you need to know. She lectures a lot, but they are helpful as she is good at explaining her work, and she always takes questions. Graded on just tests and quizzes, but the problems are similar to the ones she does in class, so pay attention.

Dr. Heena is a great professor. She is very through and knowledgeable about the subjects she teaches. Notes correlate with the tests and quizzes and hw is very reasonable. I have taken her for two different classes and did very well even though math is my worst subject.

Professor Gandhi is definitely one of the better options when it comes to Math 220. Her grading isn't too hard, as long as you know the material. She can go fast, but she will thoroughly explain anything to you that you are confused on. Do the practice problems and practice tests and you'll do fine (I also haven't touched the textbook once).

Do the HW assignments they count as a grade but also are very helpful. She provides a study guide + solutions for every test that are almost identical to the test. Do those and you will get a good grade. However, she does have a heavy accent which makes her hard to understand but you get used to it fairly quickly.

You have assignments due on Mapel TA, but they aren't hard if you go to class and do the work. You have a book you're supposed to "read" but you can really just scan for the answers. Easy Class. Her final was literally one question from each of the practice assignments we've done in class, word for work, number for number. I would recommend her.

Solid choice! I am hopeless at math and was able to keep afloat. She goes through the homework with you in class before its due, and her lectures are dry but not hard to follow. I took Dr. Gandhi during fall 2020 and her class was completely online. She gives a lot of hw but it becomes useful for exam practice b/c the exam questions are usually similar. She did chapter reviews every class b4 the exam where she gives you the exact calculator functions. The final is cumulative but I barely studied and got an 83. shes 10/10

Dr. Gandhi is an amazing Stats professor. She has lecture to go over the PowerPoint provided to us and also has extra examples on top of that so one can consume the material and understand it. However, she does give a lot of worksheets for homework that are tedious. They are useful for the tests. However, please take her!

Please take her for math if you get the chance...I am not a math person at ALL and I found myself actually excited to go to this class because I understood most topics. You have three tests which aren't bad, just a time crunch. She really makes sure you fully understand each topic before moving on, and always answers emails. Best math teacher ever.

I really enjoyed having Gandhi for 231. She is very straight to the point. I would not recommend skipping class. Each week you typically have two homework and two worksheet assignments and a quiz every other. Her tests are not that hard but even with a low score your other assignments help your grade by ALOT.

I like that her lectures aren't by video, and you can ask questions while she's explaining material. Math is hard but Gandhi makes it palatable. How to succeed in the class is to take notes during class and actually do every single home work problem, should take 2-3 hours a week (all due friday night) they are basically exam questions and if you can do them then its a ez class.

Great professor. If you already know a decent amount of calculus (mainly just derivatives) this class should be extremely easy. I took AP Calc AB in high school and there were no new topics introduced in this class. Lectures are clear and there are packets given out every week that are worked on in class and finished outside of class.

Statistics is not my strong suit but I ended with an A with Gandhi. Her practice quizzes were just like the exams. You will do well if you go to class and take notes. This class is mainly just practice, but her test review days were super helpful, so definitely attend those. We had 4 exams including the cumulative final. I would take her again.

I really enjoyed this class and this professor. Accent is very strong and wore a mask for most of the semester, if youre not good with accents, I dont recommend. However, the class was fairly easy and she was very good at explaining. She does not take attendance but I dont recommend missing a class because there are many things not on the slides.

Great calc teacher, she works out practice problems with the class. She does assign a good amount of homework and classwork but it is graded on completion for the most part. I got an A on every test and would just practice all the problems on the study's guides she would post and that worked for me.
