She is a great & wonderful OZ in math. I've been out of school 22 yrs & she helped me relearn all my algebra that was lost over the years. She is so helpful & a kind sweet person. I love her. She made math fun to learn and easy to remember. She's the BEST

Wonderful math teacher. She brings the subject to life and makes you actually want to come to class!! Also very clear and cares about you and your grade. I recommend her to anyone... especially those who have a hard time with math. You will come out of her class liking the subject more !!

She is an amazing professor! I dispise math and had always failed in hs. I am currently getting an A in her class. She is always willing to help on her breaks. HW counts as a test grade in the end so do it! Makes the class fun. Do not take math with anyone else.

Im not sure if this teacher will still be teaching after since she was pregnant for the '05 fall term. I will say though that after having 2 poor teachers prior to her, i am ever so grateful how things turned out with having her. most of the material was from the book but she made everything pretty well clear. decent hw, decent tests. recommended.

Had to take Calc 2 over the summer a few years ago and she was the professor. She helped me get through with a much needed B, I will always remember her and cant give her enough credit for being such a great person and teacher. Thanks again :-)

Great teacher. She gives a decent amount of hw, but they r the questions that have the answers in the back of the book...Tests are pretty easy too. Just dont miss class, otherwise u can fall behind fast. and she drops ur lowest test grade at the end of the semester

Amazing professor, I learned so much in her class. She helps you whenever she can, can get annoyed if the class doesnt pay attention, but this is college and we should know how to be quiet. Drops lowest test grade and give decent amount of homework but you have till the test to do it. Take her so worth it.

Professor Kiley is by far one of my most favorite professors at SCCC... and i've been here for almost 4 years so that says a lot! She is so clear with everything and will go over any hmwk problems the class got stuck on... even if it means going over 20 of them. Extremely sweet and helpful. Take here over any math professor.

I was so afraid of math until I took her class. I dropped out of school very young and had zero math background. She made me realize that I could do anything. Dedicated, smart and fun! I love her-she changed my academic life. I am now a science major at Columbia University and I would never have even tried if it was not for her. Do the H.W!!!

She was sooooo amazingly funny. Sometimes we would have classes were we would all just talk about the most random things. But, the awesome thing was that we learned what she was trying to teach cause she is a really good teacher!

I hate math, and have been failing math since first grade but she made math both easy and fun. I was amazed what math could be like with the right teacher. She explianed everything really well and kept it interesting. She is an excellent teacher especially if you have math fears, I cant wait to take another class with her.

I've known her forever! and let me tell you, I was always horrible in math, but when i took the math regents, she helped me study the night before and I got an 83 after getting 50's all yr! in h.s. then this past semester i was having trouble and I didn't like my professor, she helped me study a few days before my makeup exam i got an 81 !! take he

had her for Algebra II. She's awesome! she's very helpful and explains things well. she kind of runs through her lessons but is always willing to help if you have a problem. she's funny and very down to earth.

She is a terrific math prof. she will give help if you need it. doesn't cut corners writes everything on the board in its entirety with clear computer type handwriting. She puts things in ways that are easy to understand and doesn't live in a fantasy world where everyone likes math. puts herself in students shoes. no furmulas TAKE HER NOOOOOOOOOW

I thought she was a good teacher. Very funny, witty, and she stopped taking attendance. She knows her stuff. Lets you hand in homework until the last day of class but everyday there is A LOT of homework and she collects everything. Tests are kind of hard too. Statistics is a terrible subject anyway, so I'm not sure if it was hard because of her.

I am taking stats with kiley and i am horriable in math and i am passing! she is a great teacher, she might give alot of homework but what math teacher doesn't? i think she's very fair and nice, she's very helpful and by far the best math teacher i've had at suffolk i would take her again.

Professor Kiley was great! She is extremely helpful. Her class is easy as long as you do homework and study for the tests. Some tests were harder than others and confusing because questions were changed based on what was learned in class. Definitely one of the best math teachers at SCCC.

She was by far the best math professor I had at suffolk! She's so sweet, funny, and she'll explain the work to you again and again until you understand it. I HIGHLY reccommend her!

I do not recomend takin lab. It makes math ten times harder, especially if you don't get it to begin with. However Kiley is really flexible, and understanding. She'll do anything in her power to help you pass, and get it.

Prof Kiley is probably one of the best Math teachers I've taken in Suffolk and in general. She's really clear and helpful and puts in an effort to make her class enjoyable. Plus she has a sense of humor, which is a very rare trait for a math prof to have! Defiantly take her, especially if math isn't your academic strong point.

Stats online is hard. Prof Kiley makes it as close as she can to the lecture, within the limitations of the online environment. Recommend taking this class on campus if you are not a strong student. Keep up with due dates and be disciplined, and you can do very well in her course. Otherwise, expect an F. Your own doing!

The best statistics professor in the world! When i first started taking stats i was scared that i would struggle to even pass, she broke everything down in an easy to understand way. She also gives lots of opportunities to boost your grade. I ended up getting an A in her class, to even my own surprise. I truly believe shes the best stat prof ever.

I took this online because I take all of my Math classes online. I am really glad that I took her because she lets you go ahead. All the homeworks and tests are there for you. For Stats online, if you are bored and want to work do Stats! It's much better to get ahead. Overall, a great teacher.

Extremely nice. But she used a "flipped classroom" for the first time even after some students said it didn't help in other classes. It was absolutely horrible, her notes are out of order, very confusing, and she treats the class like its elementary school (made flip books with safety scissors, tape, colored pencils and rulers). NOT FUN!

this class was a complete waste of time. she has at home lectures for you to watch so in class you just work on many problems. unless you plan on taking an online class that you still need to go to campus for, then this isn't the class for you.

She's a pretty nice professor, but the only thing I didn't like about this class was the online assignments. I particularly don't learn that way, but if you do then its a good class for you. Her tests are average, she lets you have a cheat sheet and allows you to retake them. Overall I would take her if Statistics is not your strong suit!

Great personality. She pays attention to all of her students and has a good sense of humor. Professor Kiley makes sure that the math she's teaching isn't torturous for you, because we all know how math can be. Classwork and homework is not too bad. Classroom environment is comfortable.

Awesome professor and incredibly kind and understanding. She's always willing to help through email and generally stays after class for a moment if you have questions. If you are confused about something she takes the time to write out the whole thing for you which is great. Wish I could take her class again.

She is one of the nicest math professors I have ever taken @ SCCC and far from your typical nerdy old math professors. She would crack jokes and tell stories every class. 3 tests (one was take home), some online homework, and 1 final. Do the online homework and decently on her tests, she'll exempt you from the final and give you an A in the class!

Took professor Kiley this summer. One word: AMAZING. She made the summer class as least stressful it should of been. She cares about her students and def knows her material very smart women. I wish I was taking her for precal and every other class she teaches. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

Took professor Kiley and had a great experience, she works with you if you miss a class or a test. She doesn't want to see anyone fail the class. I took her for algebra 2 and she went over everything in class very thoroughly. The final exam was easy and homework is online. She drops lowest 5 honeworks. Definitely recommend!

Professor Kiley is awesome- she truly cares about her students and does everything she can to help them out. She is excellent at explaining math and is always willing to take extra time out of her day to help her students. Wonderful! As long as you do the homework you are golden. It helps improve your grade and helps you understand the material more. She does cancel class often due to her busy home life and children. As long as you keep up with the homework you'll have no worries. She is great at answering questions and getting back to you outside of class. TAKE HER

Great teacher, she's really nice and as long as you put in minimal effort you should pass. 3 take home exams for our class and 1 in-class final. (this may not be the case for every class). You can reach her outside of class easily and is great to talk to! She also takes feedback well, and will make sure you pass as long as you try.

I took prof. Kileys online Pre-calc 2 class. It was an amazing class she gives you ample time to complete the assignments and if you dont do well you can keep redoing it, up until the last day of class to improve your grade. Tests can be taken 3 times and the best score will be counted.

Professor H is the best! if you get the chance to take her do it, math is a hard subject for me but she thoroughly explained everything even if you know it she'll go over it. She gives online HW but it helps for the exams. And she's not a tough grader she gives you a lot of points. TAKE HER! I would've taken her for mat 126 if she taught it

Professor Kiley is probably the nicest professor Ive ever had. Shes very sweet and is very receptive to you needing further clarification. If you even look confused and she notices shell go out of her way to ask if you specifically understand or not. Extra credit every test. Online homework is an easy A. Tests are fair. Amazing professor.

I don't believe she taught the material too well. She was hard to follow. However, very easy to pass and do well in, especially in this class. Homework was 50%, tests were 40% and final was only 10%. Drops lowest tests and gives extra credit. If you just want the credit take her.

Literally the only stats teacher at SCCC that I will ever trust completely. Her work is straight forward, she is easygoing and funny, and I (who withdrew from stats last semester/Hu-Hyneman) have an almost perfect grade. Best part is that, on her tests, she lets you take a sheet of paper like a cheat sheet, which you can make as long as you want.

Im not too good at math or note taking. I am used to algebra it is hard for me because statistics is a whole different type of math as i have talked about with a few guidance counselors. All and all great lessons, her resources are not too great as she uses Pearson my-lab for homework and readings, except for tests which are in class.

Professor Kiley is a great professor and an overall nice woman. Stats is just honestly very hard. But she makes it bearable with her mostly online class works.

4 exams drop the lowest. One exam is take home. Given review sheets for each exam which made the exams easy to pass. Homework online but easy to do. 1 final exam. She is really nice and hilarious she really cares about her students. She stop taking attendance after a certain while. Highly recommend her

I've taken Professor Kiley for MAT007L then into Algebra 2 ALEKS. She was amazing! I am a fan of STEM subjects but I struggle here and there and she was so helpful and wrote out amazing helpful guides. I can not wait to take her for another class. At first she may come out a little sarcastic but honestly as time goes by she's amazing. A must take!

She was a very lenient professor. If you are unsure about something, just ask and she will be happy to help. There are four exams and she drops the lowest. She allows you to make a review sheet for yourself to use while taking the test. I would definitely recommend taking her for statistics

The only way you can fail is by not doing anything and not attending. I had her for Real-Time Online class. She records the lecture videos and posts them on the BB, lets you get missed homework done, and gives you credit if you get them all right. She lets you retake the test to improve your grade. She is an understanding and nice professor.

Professor Kiley is amazing! I took her class with zooms and they were great. There was lots of homework because we were learning from home but she lets you better your grade on any hw until the last day. Only a few tests. She was so easy to contact and so understanding. Gives extra credit. Truly enjoys helping her students. I highly recommend her!

Heidi Kiley is a great professor, she gives 4 tests and drops one low-grade test. Choose her for pre-calculus and you'll pass if you do your work.

There were 4 tests, a group project, and a Final. The group project wasn't that bad and she clarified the directions. She allowed multiple attempts for tests. She used the score for the Final as a fourth test because my class didn't have time for a fourth test. Also, the homework wasn't tedious IMO. Very nice person. She rocks!

Prof Kiley is such a nice prof, I hate to not give her a full score, but for Pre-calc online she was a little hard, she was unorganized and would get behind. She starts class with playing a music video which is nice but it takes time away from the class and spent a decent hour talking. I understand online is hard and get it, but a little too lax.

She is an amazing professor, I took her again for my calculus 1 class. Definitely recommending her.

Professor Kiley is amazing! Not only does she teach well but shes very personable and kind. Shell happily answer any questions about the material. There are several homework assignments per chapter and multiple tests. She holds extra help at her office hours. This has definitely helped me. The class may be a bit difficult, but certainly bearable.

I thought she was very nice and helpful! I went to her office a few times to get some extra help and she was helpful. Weekly homework and only a few exams. I really liked her vibes and it wasn't much for an honors class. If she goes over class time, she'll let you go early the next class so it's fair. A queen!!

Shes okay. Math was never my strong suit however I do need a math credit. I took her class completely online she gives a lot of homework and tests and since I took the class completely online it felt like I was disengaged at times and was lacking the motivation to care. I didnt have a good experience in her class would not recommend.

Assignments r on Pearson MyLab, u can keep going until you get 100 on homework. 4 tests & u get 3 attempts at all of them after seeing what u got wrong. Gives until the last day of the semester to hand in tests with no late penalty. Homework is due weekly with a late penalty after the due date. Easy & she seems nice but it is pretty self-taught.

Amazing professor! This is a self taught class but responsive when you email her. Unlimited tries for each homework and 3 tries for the tests. You will have a total of 4 tests. There's a lot of homework. Watch the videos, take notes on the examples and you will pass each test. You will need to purchase MyLab. No need for the physical book.

Professor Kiley runs a well-structured class. Though the homework can be heavy, she's understanding and lets you improve grades. unstuckstudy and the textbook were super helpful for staying on top of the material.

Statistics was a requirement as part of my Degree Works, and I am not great at math. When I took this professor's class, all of the work was based online, on the Pearson MyLab platform. It was a loooooot of work. But doable if you use your brain and have the time. When I had a family emergency this professor gave me an extension. Would take again.
