Great teacher. Helpful, nice. Easy A. 3 exams including final. A project on ur "dream house," which is a large portion of ur grade, but very simple to do and ace. Highly recommend this class.

Mrs.Lannon is such a nice lady! It is not mandatory to come to class. There is no homework. All your grade is based on is a studyy abroad power point presentation and one test other than the midterm and final...thats it! The tests arent hard if you participate on quiz days youll do great! If she gives you a choice ask for short answer tests!

Need to keep up with lectures. Much better to go to class than study posted lectures. Loves Geography and knows a lot about it. Helpful, wants you to learn, not memorize

Heid was awesome! At first you seem a little thrown off and confused, but as long as you go to class you'll be fine when the test comes around. She really is a good teacher, a little fast, but good and she will help you out.

Ms.Heidi is one of the nicest teachers i have ever had. I'm gonna be honest.. i thought the tests were hard. as long as you show that you care about your grade she will go over and beyond to help you out. one thing that will help you for the tests are... if you write all the quiz Questions down and study them you will get As on your 2 tests.

A great teacher, certainly is an expert in Geography, she's been everywhere. The tests were online and hard, and timed so you can usually use your book if you are familiar with the material. It was actually the best course I've had at Santa Fe due to the teacher being entertaining. She enjoys teaching and makes you want to learn more!

She has a Ph. D. in geography so she expects more out of her students. She isn't a tough grader. The presentations are pretty easy but worth a huge part of your class grade. Tests are very hard! You will do much better going to her class than skipping but she doesn't take attendance.

It is a lot to learn, but Heidi is an interesting & great prof! The course is quizzes, activities(on comp.), final, & one presentation(so easy). The final is hard, but do well on everything else & your exam grade won't hurt you. I got a D on it, but still got an A in the class. She is very helpful. Heidi is awesome. I am a geography major, and she has made it extremely interesting. She takes great field trips (today we went to a bat cave), actually gets the student engaged in learning, and is hilarious. I am moving back to Ohio after this semester, only can hope for another kick a$$ professor like Heidi. Probaly the best prof at Santa Fe.

If you have to take an honors course, TAKE THIS CLASS. No exams, only one presentation the entire semester. We literally went on a boat to an island for one of our exams. Seriously, honors students, take her. You won't regret it when you get to go to class and relax. I didn't take notes once and got an A.

INSANELY easy Honors course. I mean, wow. If you want an easy keep your GPA class up, this is the one. No test, no notes. Attendance isn't mandatory. Your grade is based off a leniently graded project and we took a boat trip as a final. TAKE THIS COURSE :)

Heidi is a really great teacher and is hilarious. It's an easy course and she makes it interesting, but her exams can be difficult. She took us to the Santa Fe Bat Cave and Seahorse Key in Cedar Key where we trenched out sealife on a large boat and got to interact. I would recommend her and her courses!

Great professor, very clear when she speaks and makes the class fun and entertaining. Doesn't do much teaching though, makes 100+ long presentations and covers only about 20 slides, the rest must be reviewed at home. TEST ARE IMPOSSIBLE, everything is from the book and is never seen in class. Take this class if you don't mind studying on your own.

Easy online class. I paper, 1 powerpoint and Exams. Quizzes every 2 weeks with 10 questions. Just make sure you do them, they are easy but they add up if you skip them

LOVE this class. Cool teacher, fun assignments. Get to go outside and get to know your class really well because you all work together. You should take this. Its a good alternative to others in teh same group.

I just finished my final and I encourage you to take this class. The quizzes and final are easy and the exams are short answer but not bad. She explains what is expected. You just have to do a project and turn it in. She even let some people in the class turn the project in late. I think that was too lenient since I got mine in on time.

Heidi is a cool ole gal. Field trips were fun and interesting. LOVED Seahorse Key. You don't want to miss the field trips! At the end of the semester, I had learned a lot. Turned out to be an interesting and FUN class. If you want a layed back course, this is it!

Heidi is so much fun! She's hilarious and very chill but passionate about geography. She lectured to us about geothermal activity in a hot spring in the Andes on a study abroad trip to Ecuador. Best lesson ever! Take her!

I love Heidi! This course, Cultural Geography, is online and is so much fun. I learned so much and found Heidi to be extremely helpful. The exams might seem hard if you haven't done the assigned reading and powerpoints, but they are not if you've done the work. Don't take this online class if you're looking to slack.

The class may be an easy A but it is also easy to get below a B if you don't participate. She's very helpful and willing to help with a problem you might be having, as long it's not just whining about a grade. She's also funny and very intelligent. I would take another course by her. I took this teacher for 2 classes. World is very easy and in intro class. You start off with an A and can only blow it from there. Then I took physical geogrpahy. An amazing teacher, has very detailed slides that help a lot with quizzes and tests.

I honestly did not like this class. I found most of it boring but I needed it for a humanities. Heidi knows how stuff, but she has an accent so sometimes it is hard to understand her lectures on her PowerPoints. But if you are interested in this area of study, or just need an easy A for a humanities, I'd recommend Heidi.

I am finishing up an online class with this teacher. She has been good and kept me on task. There are quizzes every 2 chapters, and exam and a research paper. You get a lot of time to do the final. It is a good online class to take.

I had forgotten that geography was so interesting and it is because of Mrs. Lannon. She is a great teacher. She is interesting and knows her stuff. You should take her for Physical Geography, you get to be outside. One final and easy experiments to do. You get to learn GIS which I think is a cool thing and could be good on my resume

Very nice, tells a lot of stories about her life that are actually interesting. The class is laid back and you can say what you think and want to know and it's like a discussion. You can listen or participate but you learn a lot about the world.

Very funny professor with great lectures. The tests are not easy, she does prepare you for them pretty well, however. Be prepared for her sense of humor, some students did not catch on. Great overall professor and prepares you very well for everything.

I am finishing her GEO2420 Summer A class, and it has been a great class. You have a 10 question quiz&a discussion every week as well as 1 paper which is a review of 3 Scholarly Journals(a bit hard). If you need to knock out an elective take this and I recommend online.

Lectures in class were all on Canvas. She is really nice and didn't assign a lot of work. Tests were hard but the quizzes were not. Overall not a bad choice

Okay I love this woman, she is so funny and cool. The class would be super easy if the quiz questions weren't literally pulled out of thin air. She says that one of the 3 top most spoken languages in the world is Pakastani.. I still have yet to find one source that says that. but besides that her class is easy

The exams are still easy because they are short answer question and you can basically get all points if you say something. there is 1 presentation & 1 3 pg paper related to the presentation. she is super funny. You need to study her online review and be able to interpret the maps. This is not a basic geography class where you just memorize information.

Mrs Lennon is a good teacher to take but its not an easy A class more like if you study a lot maybe a B class. She is hilarious with lots of fun stories to tell. You have to come to class in order to pass the test because the test are based on student presentations done in class. Overall okay class would take again but study more.

She is British, and travels a lot. She is very knowledgeable about her topic. Very easy to listen to.

I had Heidi for two classes. She was fantastic in my study abroad class and the class prior to this was great as well. You will be expected to give a presentation in her classes so don't be audience shy. She is straight forward with her grading and gets grades back to you quickly. By far one of my favorites at Santa Fe College.

I have taken several classes by Heidi and she is very nice and friendly. Her classes are very easy and straight forward, but I would get frustrated sometimes because I feel she does not really teach the material in a way that prepares you for the exam. However, it is definitely manageable and I got A's in both the classes I have taken with her.

Loved the class! She is very funny and caring! There was this powerpoint that everyone has to do but it wasn't too bad. It's a geography so prepare to study and prepare for all the wonderful knowledge of traveling to these places. I thought the lectures were very interesting and I have a wonderful time with her! Heidi is a great professor, everything in this class is pretty easy if you do the work and you still learn a lot from it. Not much to complain about, she knows what she's doing and she's very helpful. The field trips are also really fun! Heidis class is one of the few Ive had that I actually enjoy attending. Shes hilarious and just an overall great professor. The only bad side about the class are the online quizzes and the final exam. Both are open book and you do them at home, but the questions arent discussed in class.

Heidi is very nice and the class wasn't hard. One 3 pg research paper/presentation, 3 tests, a few quizes, and some discussion posts. Tests are kind of hard, there is some essay/short answer, but not too bad. Some of the questions come from classmates presentation, so if you miss class, try to get notes. I previously left a review about not receiving an A when I was upset, but genuinely think that Heidi was a gem. She is super sweet and willing to help outside of class. She is worldly and really knows what she is talking about. The tests are hard, but that is to be expected bc this subject is hard. Even though I got a B instead of an A, I had fun

Dr. Lannon is a great teacher and she'll help you out if you need it. If I had pushed myself a little harder I could have gotten an A. This class is pretty dependent on attendance because you are constantly doing things in the field or learning programs like GIS. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I wish the semester hadn't finished online.

This class is a little more difficult than GEO2200C in my opinion. It's a bigger class, so there are less overall assignments. The transition to online wasn't too bad, as long as you have common sense and put in the effort you should do fine. You'll also have to do a presentation, which she'll derive questions from and put on the exams.

This is a great class! Definitely glad I took it, and I would highly suggest it to anyone wanting to learn about all about Geo. She is so passionate about geo, & it's definitely more than states and capitals. On exams and quizzes, she doesn't grade with many points, so it is important to score high and you must study. Not a difficult class overall.

I took her in Spring 2021. She is probably the sweetest professor on campus and one of the easiest classes. You can tell that she absolutely loves what she is doing and cares so much about everyone in the class. She is super flexible too if you are having problems with anything.
