I loved this class in the Fall! She creates community in the classroom and everyone becomes friends. She asks for feedback a lot and knows what she's talking about! For the big paper, use the writing studio and class time to get help. All projects are practical for real business and she helps along the way. She wants you to succeed and is relatable

Caring professor. She gives you so many opportunities to succeed. If you show up and do your work you'll easily pass with an A or B. If you try to not do assignments or not show up, your grade will suffer. She gives time in class to do assignments so you can learn while doing. I am glad I took her and listened to her Henry ford college reviews.

Class is a lot of work online, but the way she lays the weeks and assignments out made it my easiest class. Plus shes a great professor. Fast to reply to questions and very helpful. I panicked and overwhelmed myself the first two weeks for no reason and am so glad I stuck it out and didnt drop. It wound up being my favorite online course ever!

Shes the best and who to take online. You wont regret it! The class is a lot of work in 8 weeks, but she responds so quick and sets you up for success. You just have to use tbe tools provided! Love her. Loved tbis class.

This has been a hard transition from onground to online. I had anxiety about going online as I have never took online classes nor did I plan to. None of my professors are on top of things as Professor Schick. She transitioned our onground class quickly and communicated every step of the way due to her amazing teaching abilities and availability.

I really enjoyed how this course was run online. I did not think the workload was too heavy or too light at any point. I thought the information was presented to us in a variety of ways so all the students could learn. The course ran very smoothly and I enjoyed being apart of it. I learned a lot and it makes am excited to enter business world.

Professor Schick did a great job with the online environment, she made things clear, provided helpful resources, and was quick to respond when a question did come up. The course being accelerated was a bit of a struggle sometimes because of the load with other courses and life, but it was manageable. I was nervous to take it , I am glad I had her.

I personally feel that this was one of the easier online courses that I took, and it had the most work. The way the instructor laid out the course was great. She told you what was expected of you each week, she opened 1 to 2 weeks at a time so you could get ahead if you wanted, she had many examples, and she gave great feedback.

I had an amazing time taking this course and if my professor keeps running it the way she does, students will never have to worry about never knowing the full details of a project or not being able to contact the my professor! My favorite assignment in this course, though it was a heavy workload, was the business report. Start that when she says!

The instructor was perfect in the online environment. Answered questions about assignments very fast, and was always helpful and nice. Read every announcement and print the weekly overview. It will help you a ton. The class does move fast and is a lot of work.

Best professor at MCC. I had her on campus and it was my favorite class to go to. She's fun smart and real. When we transitioned online do to covid I was bummed. But she set the class up so nice in Canvas and overcommunicated the whole time. Unlike my other professors who took weeks to answer my emails. Also always avaliable to help students.

This has been one of my favorite courses so far. I feel like I learned a lot and I can definitely use everything I learned moving forward. Each assignment gave me a new perspective and understanding of different aspects of communication in business.

I first read the syllabus for this course and felt overwhelmed. I still recall how this line frightened me You will need a webcam or recording device". But I made it and am proud of how far I have come. If more professors would adapt even 50% of her dedication to teaching and their students, this world would be an amazing place. She is great!

This course is a lot of work, but she gives plenty of time to complete assignments. There is so much guidance in this course if you read the materials and watch the videos. I feel like a few people in my current class do not know how to read. It isnt the professors fault you cant follow clear instructions. This is college. You have to do the work

Second time taking this online and should have taken it with her to begin with. Would have saved money and time and frustration. Not an easy class and there is a lot of work, but the way she explains things is so much better than I had before. I actually learned something. This online class is exceptional. This is a great example of an online, eight week course. This class takes out all the drag that a on ground class can have and even the drag that other online classes can suffer from.

This class is exceptional and a perfect example of a well structured online course. The workload in this class is fairly heavy, but the grading criteria is straight to the point which makes it easy to get an A on assignments if you follow the rubric. Professor Schick is very friendly and quickly responds to emails.

This has been one of my favorite experiences in an online class. Not just solemnly on class work, but on instructor communication with the class and having everything very transparent during the class. It was nice to know exactly what was expected of us and knowing due dates ahead of time to plan out the week since I have two jobs and a busy life.

BCOM 2050 WHICH I took with her felt like I am dealing with a friend. I never felt the pressure to feel like that it is also a college course. I can not explain it easier than that.

Coming into this course I was not expecting to learn valuable, life-changing information and skills. Although this is an 8 week course and the workload is heavy, it is well organized. Assignments are very well distributed through the semester. I never felt overworked or stressed as it was easy to work ahead. There is one big project, but the workload is easy since it is distributed throughout almost the whole semester.

Ive taken BCOM before and didnt do very well unfortunately. However, this class went a lot better for me and I think it was designed and organized well. Our professor gave us so many videos to explain assignments and sent out reminders every time something was due which isn't required but really helped me and I assume others a lot.

One big paper for the class that is due, but she gives a lot of instruction. Always answers messages through canvas. Easy grader, simple assignments.

Most organized and easy to follow course I have ever taken in college. Every week is easy to follow and you know what is expected to be done and how you are going to be grade. Clear weekly announcements, videos, reminders. Always quickly answers emails. Grades pretty easy if you follow the detailed rubric.

Professor Schick is the most incredible instructor, starting with her regular and prompt announcements via either written or video mode. All the instructions step by step on how to prepare for our assignments. Detailed. I feel like more classes need to be structured like this class because I learned so much valuable information in just 8 weeks.

She is an amazing professor and cares for her students. If you have an issue that impacts your work let her know. She taught me hybrid and did so in a way that not once ever interfered with my class. She deserves every bit of 5 stars and some. If you don't take her for this course you will regret it!

The workload was manageable. Assignments were opened prior to the start of class so you could work ahead. Class moves fast. Don't procrastinate. She answers emails fast. For each assignment she gave resources to help and had examples, video lectures, and written directions. I don't like online, but I liked this class for what it was.

MCC has been amazing. I graduated high school 20 years ago and was scared to return to earn my degree. This was my first online class. The professor was very approachable in answering any questions and concerns. This class made me realize that my decision to return to school after all these years was the right choice.

This professor was incredible! There were group discussions every week and the chapter tests that were worth a lot of points. Lots of extra credit is offered. The main assignment was the business report that will determine if you pass the class or not! So no worries not to shabby! Id highly recommended her!!!

You will make a resume, a cover letter, and complete a business report. Get ready to present! Much of the class is video presentations (for online). Not too tough on grading, just make sure you keep up on assignments. Quizzes are easy, assignments are light, but you're given a lot of time for a reason, so use it wisely. Great course!
