She is awesome! Extremely helpful! But some of the homework is nonsense and meaningless.

If you start out the year on her good side you will get help very easily and with all the homework although most are easy some you will need help on. Quizes are always on a thursday so you really cant complain because its always on the homework u jus don

Professor makes the objectives quite clear. Unfortunately, being a first year course, EGR120 is plagued with students that belong back in middle school. Hence, she comes across as too demanding. In reality, she's right on point.

Assigns a fair amount of work, but does not tolerate students who do not apply themselves or expect free ride. Always willing to go over all lectures as needed during office hours or in class. Knew the material and taught it well.

Expects a lot from you, so when it is all said and done you will have learned a lot. Always available for office hours or to meet outside of class. If you are looking for a class where you do nothing and wastes time, this is not it.

Class is not hard, she expects you to do the work assigned. All assignments are clearly explained. Teaches a lot CATIA! Knows what she is talking about, take her if you can.

Knows a lot about CATIA and teaches more than other instructors. Tough grader but provides a detailed explanation of what she is looking for. Learned a lot. Quizzes every week, gotta do the homework to pass those.

She is great! Expected us to submit college level work. Learned a lot. Knew the material. Available for help if needed. Take if you want to learn.

Pay attention to lectures, covers additional information not in the textbook. Quizzes are tough, but if you do the homework you will be fine. She grades very picky, but tells you exactly what she is looking for. Enjoyed the class.

What can I say, Heidi will really make you sweat...academically and by her appearances. I think she is an ok teacher, she seems like she is hard at first, but just pay attention and you'll do fine. By paying attention, I mean not looking at her toosh or any other part of her.

Fine booty, if she is wearing a shirt, don't plan on learning that day. Grading is very strick, but she has one of the best teaching methods, so if you want to learn catia take this class.

People who think she gives too much homework are in the wrong major. Steiny is a great teacher with a great set of legs. Quit being ****s and realize that this is the easiest engineering class you'll take.

Mrs. Steinhauer is awesome. The homework is easy and fun. Its nice when she wears skirts and the lectures are easy to understand. But then agian, I took 3 years of this stuff in high school. It's kinda second nature to me.

She is very straightforward. She is a little heavy on the homework, but if you do it and do well, it brings up your grade. Strict on grading, but tells you what you did wrong. Very nice and very willing to work with you. Basically, do your work and you'll pass with a good grade!

She's one of the few teachers at this school who actually makes you WORK for your grade, and most of the kids here can't take that. But, if you're up for the challenge, this is a GREAT class, and it will be really useful when it comes to design classes.She was ALWAYS willing to help in her office!

Yes she gives allot of home work, but when you finish the class you know what you are talking about. If you take the time and go to her during her office hours, she is more than willing to help.

Very good teacher. Knows what she's talking about and is always willing to help. However, she does give a lot of work and is extremely strict on grading. You definitely will know your stuff when you finish!

People that complain about Steinhauer are lazy and have no work ethic. Had this class my first semester for for EGR 120, as long as you do the work and try the class is simple. Very clear in explanation, hard but you'll learn Catia better then with any other teacher. I'd highly reccomend her for your higher level classes as well as this one.

YOU WILL LEARN A LOT! lots of hw, and kinda strict grading. comes off as strict but if u try and show you care, you will do fine. you will definatly do better in this class if youve had a CADD background, and if you've had drafting experience. explainations are kinda hard to understand, but BY FAR the most knowledgeable teacher.

This instructor definitely knows her stuff. The material in itself is dry, so don't expect to be entertained. She assigns A LOT of work. Expect to spend at least 4 hours a week on drawings/projects.

Professor expects a lot. Course is challenging because the material is so different. Final project is hard but well worth the effort. Professor cares about performance and goes the extra mile.

Take this professor if you have no idea what a circle is and enjoy 4-6 hours of homework a week. She teaches the material in a very methodical fashion. If you already have any drafting experience or are just good at seeing shapes, don't take her. Also, she assigns tutorials every week that make you want to commit hari-kari. Don't take her.

Tutorials are the devil! she grades very strictly and you have to do everything perfectly. Even if your solid model looks exactly like it should, you will get points taken off for having too many steps in your spec tree. good at teaching and explaining, just really strict on grading...

Despite being manditory, it was my favorite class in my 1st semester. At times was unable to asnwer semi-simple questions regarding projects that SHE assigned.Gave pop quiz questions that were irrelevant and unreasonable, which affected grade, but projects made up for it.However, always willing to help during office hours.

Prof expects high quality of work from you, but you will learn a lot. Always helpful answering questions. Take her if you want great instruction and are not afraid to actually learn, don't take her if you want an easy A.

She was an awesome teacher and I was always excited to go to her class. However the projects kind of sucked but it was still an overall fun class. She is easy to get along with and joke around.

Very easy class, so there wasn't much need to teach. However, she is easy to talk to and seems to be more than willing to explain what isn't being understood.

Her class setup is: lecture, turn in your notes the night of class, then 2 take-home problems about the lecture, turn in your homework the next MORNING you walk into class. If you don't understand something, she will meet you outside of class because she wants you to pass. Her tests only have a few questions, though, so make sure you understand!!
