You are giong to like her. She give lots of quizes and hw but thats why you have to go to class. Her teaching is clear and understandable only if your willing to learn. Just remember she don't curve, so do your best at first try!

She is awesome this is the second time i have had her. She prints out the notes gives good practicce exams and is always available in the office or by e-mail...even in the middle of the night. Her TAs don't know what they are doing but she makes up for that

Helen is a excellent teacher!!! if you are going to take stats TAKE HER!! she outlines the notes on a packet that you buy... alot of the class is based on easy homework from the book, seriously takes a half hour a week. she posts old exams and note on blackboard, she wants you to do good, she is very helpful and nice. I had a TA teaching my stats class. Even though he did not help me at all, noble helped me pass. She was ALWAYS there for me. If math isn't your thing, TAKE HER.

Overall this class was pretty easy. Most of the homework was pretty easy and usually only took about an hour to complete. If you complete all the homework and attend class, you should have no problem getting an A. Class was only slightly more challenging than Stat250 (I had her for this class also)

I learned a lot in this class. Go to class and take notes bc when she lectures, it seems like everthing she says is important-- esp if she says stuff several times. If you get lost- get help before you get behind--esp on ch10. This site is voluntary response bias bc only the people with extreme opinions will comment!! See! I learned stuff!! :)

Such a good professor! You will learn so much. Just go to class, take notes (she makes it easy for you and gives you the notes), and pay attention. She goes really really fast so keep up. Guarantee you, that if you wanna pull a decent grade in her class, you will not fall asleep!!

Most people thought this class was difficult but I managed to get an A. Dont buy the book, but definitely buy her lecture notes from the bookstore. She is boring but most math teachers are. Just be sure to do all the practice quizzes/tests before the real thing and you should have no problem. They are almost identical to the real tests she gives.

If you're like me and you're not good at math, you should make sure you really take advantage of what Noble gives you. For example: a tutor room for Stats 119 (and Calc), her office hours, all the sample quizzes and exams she posts, and also the homework! She is really organized and knows what she's talking about.

Don't buy the book!! Complete waste of money. Kind of boring.. especially at 8am, but if you come to every class and take the practice exams she posts you will get a good grade. Easy class

Out of all the stats teachers i have heard about, she is the best. She is also the head of the department so she knows everything. There is a lot of work, but you won't find less elsewhere. Go to class! I never used the textbook, mostly everything is online or in your notes. I really liked her.

never read the book for this class. just go to class and take notes and youll do fine. noble is more than happy to meet with you so you understand the material and is quick to get back to email questions. dont miss class otherwise you will probably fall behind. stay on top of your work and you wll get an A.

this class was pretty easy. i did really well on all my quizzes (lowest one dropped) and borderline B and A on the tests. make sure to do the online homeworks (they're really easy) and get your computer assignment checked by her for full points. i didn't use the book that much. other than that, just go to lecture and study.

If you have to take stats at SDSU then take it with her. I would definitely reccommend taking stats at a community college because it has a high fail rate at sdsu. its extremely fast paced and missing one class will put you behind. Noble is was a great teacher but the department needs improvement. Don't buy the book!!

Super intense teacher, but she knows her stuff. From what I've heard, she's probably the best one to take out at sdsu, and she's really clear and has great office hours to go for help. Just don't ever expect to get out of class even 30 seconds early.

Great teacher. attendance not exactly mandatory, but she does randomly give out worksheets that are easy points and end up helping ur grade if u r on the border. she's really helpful and always sends emails to remind you of everything. go to office hours if u feel a little confused! if u show effort, she might even be lenient on your final grade...

Statistics is not an easy class but she makes everything easy to understand. She knows what shes talking about. You dont need to go to class but it is very helpful too. Never think your going to get out early because most of the time you get out five min late. She likes people that show they are working hard.

If you want to pass Stats on your first try take her. The first time I took this class I bombed and math has always been my strongest subject. I took it again with her and got a c+ because I slacked off towards the end of the year. She is the best teacher for this class

I came into this class hating math and I came out of it still hating math. I don't know what's with the positive reviews since her pacing in teaching was way too fast. Her accent which made her easier to listen to, but otherwise I was just bored. She's not that helpful in office hours either. Learned more from class reader than the professor.

I took her Statistics class @ Cuyamaca college. She's very helpfull. The class is hard but she gives extra credit.

Noble is fair and straightforward. There are quizzes at least every couple weeks. If you go to class and do the online hw you will do fine. The exam reviews for past midterms and the final were very helpful. I would recommend Noble.

Noble is a great professor for stats! I entered into her class not knowing anything about statistics and left the feeling knowledgable on the subject. I studied for exams with other students and their professors poorly prepared them. She is the one who makes the test so she will make sure you know whats on them. LOTS of studying! Take Noble!!

Mrs. Noble is an excellent professor.Before taking her course, I'd attempted taking this course 2 previous times (with different professors), but dropped the course both times.I took her in spring'10, tried a little harder this time, ALWAYS did my homework, & studied off my quizzes & notes to prepare for tests. Incredibly good teacher and has a full command of the english language (which is hard to come by with introduction stats). She teaches directly from notes, if you go to class and pay attention book is not needed.

Noble is the best prof at State. She takes an extremely difficult subject and dumbs it down as much as possible. If you go to class, do the EC, assignments, and actually try, you should pass her class easily. Exam questions are hard but doable if you study. MUST go to class.

She is such a sweet professor. She tries to make the subject as simple as possible. Her extra assignments are really helpful. You don't have to do them, but I recommend that you do. I also recommend that you do at the recitation assignments she givens go. It takes the place of your two lowest quizzes. Overall, she is a great prof!

If you have to take stats, definitely try to take her. I opened my book maybe twice at the beginning of the semester for the first 3 chapters (they aren't in her handbook, which is required). Make a studyguide out of notes from handbook and you'll do fine on tests. she gives you a formula sheet too. homework is online & guaranteed 100%. easy class

Professor Noble is an amazing teacher . She explains the material very well gives plenty of examples and sources to study from for her quizzes and midterms. Great math prof! Don't buy the book, use her manual, watch wimbas (if taking hybrid course), take advantage of ALL the opportunities she gives. TAKE HER!!! The subject itself isn't easy but she is very generous and very clear and super duper helpful. Don't buy the textbook! I never used it and lost over $100 after buyback! You can learn everything through the manual. Otherwise, a very easy class. Noble tries to clear things up when people are confused; she's very helpful overall. Her slight accent may confuse you in the beginning, but you get used to it.

I liked this class at the beginning, but then started to dread it at the end. I'm not fond of stats, but Prof Noble is decent at teaching it. She has a heavy British accent, but you can still understand her. Her class wasn't too difficult and the textbook was interesting to read.

stats is a hard subject for me in general. the subject itself is pretty tricky, so you really have to go to class and pay attention. Noble is the BEST stats professor at sdsu, hw is online, quizzes, 2 tests and a cumulative final (all stats professors do a cumulative final so there's no way out of it). and DO ALL THE RA ASSIGNMENTS!!

She is constantly available for office hours and over email and reminds you to come talk to her all the time if you aren't doing so well. Hybrid class was awesome because you get 2 attempts on quizzes and unlimited attempts on homework. Gotta go to class, though.

This was my second time taking stats, actually passed with a B this time. Took the hybrid class, go to class! she has clicker points. All the homework and quizes are done online. You get 2 tries on the quizes and are worth a good amount of your grade. I didn't buy the book, just used the homework and mystatlab to study.

I was struggling at the beginning of the year but it gets easier. She gives lots of quizzes that aren't hard if u study the material. I enjoyed this class and would take her again. She cares about her students and explains the material very well. Overall she's a great professor.

Huge class, so it's hard to get help, but she actually does want to and has interest in students passing. Her teaching style is understandable in class, but the hybrid class makes it difficult. Quizzes and homework are easy if you have a friend, and you get multiple tries. Easy to skip class, but don't. She may seem strict, but work is fair.

I actually took her regular class because I didn't want to be at school at night, and it was pretty simple. All quizzes and exams are extremely similar to the practice quizzes and exams so if you study them you can't not get an A. If looking at her for a GE, Class will require a bit of effort but is way easier than Calc.

Took the hybrid class. Best way to go. There are online quizzes that could not be any easier. Her exams are just like the practice material and everything is fairly straight forward. She does not trick you or anything like that. DEFINITELY TAKE HER FOR STATS! EASY A!

I took the hybrid class and it is very easy for the online quizzes and homework since the problems are the same just different numbers. Got stuck with hybrid because there was no more room in the regular classes, but it is easier in the hybrid since you do the work on your own time.

Noble is a very good teacher. She is very fair and treats everybody the same. I don't understand how people say she's difficult. Online HW every week. DO IT and one online quiz every week. Easy. 2 midterms and a final. They weren't every hard. She wants everybody to pass and offers review sessions before every test. Easy class overall

TAKE THE HYBRID CLASS. Stats isn't as hard as people paint it to be. Weekly homework and quizzes are a drag but the tests are basically her practice exams. Just practice, watch the wombs, and go to spoon's review sessions (NOT NOBLES) and at the least you'll get a B.

Pass the class with C+ ,didnt take my clicker to class, only passed ONLY one midterm with a 76 and final with 75. didnt finished all of my hw, or watched wimbas. if you watch wimbas she mihgt give you extra credit IF you need the help. Great prof! As long as you watch the online lectures every week and go to the review sessions (hosted by Spoon), this class is an easy A! She posts an online lecture every week (hybrid class) so I never had to read the textbook! Overall great class I learned a lot and an easy A.

Very helpful teacher, but a lot of work for the class. 12 quizzes and homeworks, all online. She's very forgiving as, but the class is difficult. Take the hybrid class and sign up for the 1 credit STAT119A class for extra help; you get a 2% grade bump if you take it.

This class is pretty easy as long as you keep up. Take the hybrid class. It is extremely helpful for studying for exams. But make sure that you actually watch the hybrid sessions each week. If you don't, you'll likely fall behind. My only real complaint is Professor Noble's voice. Listening to her speak is absolutely dreadful. Just a heads up.

I recommend taking the practice exams seriously, and asking questions. If you want to ace this class, practice everyday. 4 exams, final is cumulative. Do not mess up on any exam if you want an A. How to study: test your know ledge. How to pass: do all hw/quizes, and ace em.

Professor Noble's hybrid class is 100% the way to go. The homework and quiz points seal the deal for your grade and because they're online you're assured to do well. Noble is the type of professor who will hold your hand throughout the semester. Expect frequent e- mails from her. Her class is a hybrid course and going to lecture is necessary because she does Clicker points. Do the homework and quizzes because they will cushion your grade. Go to review sessions prior to each exam because they help A LOT.

I took the hybrid course and it was semi-easy. There are 2 midterms and a cumulative final. Make sure to go to class for clicker points, she likes to save them for the end so watch out! Also do well on the homework and quizzes to boost your grade a little. She's the only teacher with multiple choice tests so take her over other stats teachers.!!!

The class is not that difficult as long as you study. The final is very difficult and worth 30% of your grade!

Professor Noble is a great teacher, and if you pay attention on the class you will def pass. Math is easy for me, and she helps a lot also. If you're willing to do the exercises she hands out (such as the past exams) you will def get an A. Some of the questions repeat themselves also.

Very good at explaining. Stats is a hard subject, But she did good job at teaching. You know exactly what is on each test because they are very similar to the practice tests.

Need to go to class for clicker questions. Her tests are mediocre just study a lot. It hybrid so all online quizzes and homework which are easy. Just study for tests a lot and go to class.

Stats 119 with Noble isn't too hard. Very time consuming outside of class, but she gives you all the tools to do well on the exams. Do all the homeworks and get 100% and do decent on all the quizzes and get all the clicker points and you already have a solid B guaranteed if you don't do well on the exams.

Lectures are an 1hr 15m and she uses all that time... it's a large lecture so naturally things may be confusing when she explains. Yet she's pretty clear on her online lectures, which you can always pause. She offers a plethora of tutoring resources and extra practice Q's... basically, put in the work, and don't let it build up!

She is the sweetest woman in the world. She cares about how you do in her class. If you visit her in office hours she will go over ANY questions you have. Putting in effort is mandatory for any class, but this class it was easy for because of Helen. She was an absolute BLESSING.

Noble is passionate but be aware YOU HAVE TO REALLY WORK FOR YOUR GRADE. I spent long hours in the tutor room just to keep up. Tests are hard especially if you aren't good at math. You really have to set some time aside for this class to do well or just ok. However, help is there if you need it, tutor room is very helpful. Very annoying class.

It's a hybrid class, be on top of things and deadlines. Hw and tests due online every week (hw unlim attemptstests 2 attempts). Midterms and final are cumulative so keep reviewing!! Take advantage of her office hours and get help from her TAs! If you can take 119A, I wish I did! Lectures are clearclicker qs every class (once a week)

The material is difficult, not gonna lie. She offers review sessions, super helpful! also do the practice tests she posts, because the real one is exactly like that. I never paid attention to the online lectures but paid attention in classroom. You need to do either one or even both or else you'll fail. Dont eff up the clicker points! They matter!

She is so crazy smart, it almost inspires. If you pay attention and put in effort you will do fine. Quizzes are exactly like homework. Her exams are exactly like practice exams she has available. I recommend her.

I loved how the class was hybrid. All homework and quizzes are online. You get unlimited tries for hw and 2 tries for quizzes (the 2nd is the exact same as the first just different numbers). There is also 119A which you can take for extra credit, which I would recommend. No textbook but you need her course manual.

The course manual written by her is necessary. If you skip any classes or don't watch any collaborates it will be difficult to catch up. Also, she does in class clicker points every class so skipping really hurts your grade

Definitely not a class for the lazy. Online homework and quizzes are due weekly. 2 midterms and a final. If you want a good grade, you're going to have to work for it. Make sure you to watch the online lectures before you go to class or you'll be lost. Must buy the Course Manual and online software (for the online homework). Never read the book.

Such a sweet lady, genuinely cares for her students and their grades. Gives practice exams that are almost identical to the real exams. Hybrid class can be tricky sometimes but it is actually nice to be able to pause and replay things she says for more clarity. Great teacher explains things well.

Take 119A! It's an extra class and it gives you a 2% grade boost. Take quizzes with another student so you can get an A. You can redo the homework until you get 100%. Make sure you get your clicker points. Take the practice tests go to her office hours. She wants you to pass but you have to work for it.

The most common class of hers is the hybrid Stats 119 class where one day is online and the other is in a lecture hall of 500. She has an accent and a slightly monotone voice which makes her collaborates (online lecture) hard to focus on. Her in class lectures are mostly just a less in depth recap of the collaborates. Be prepared to teach yourself!

Noble is only easy if you are good at math. There are two midterms that are 36% of your grade while 30% goes to the final. She encourages her students to take STAT119A for an extra 2% at the end of the semester. The quizzes look exactly like the homework so if you copy down the homework before you take the quiz you are bound to get 100% on it.

Noble is a really great teacher, she clearly present the material for the test and she wants her students to pass. Just show up to class and answer the i-clicker questions. The tests are really straight forward. The 2nd midterm is harder than the first one, but the final exam is the easiest exam and really helps your grade if you study.

I was in a Hybrid class, Noble is a good teacher very clear and if you pay attention you will understand but she is monotone and lectures can feel very long. The online portion was not bad just make sure to watch the videos. No one forces you to but if you don't your grade will suffer. Her course manual is really beneficial and a must have to pass.

10 HWs and 10 quizzes online, easy to get 100 on them. 2 midterms & 1 final- easy to study for b/c Noble gives you practice exams almost exactly like the tests. I skipped most class but don't recommend it bc 6% of your grade is CLICKER POINTS which is super annoying. Class is very fair, just put in the time and effort. Also 119A is a nice boost

Straightforward class. Stat119A very helpful because it adds 2% to your grade. I went from an 88% which is a B+ to an 90% which is an A-. Difficult curriculum, but Noble offers a lot of studying resources/past tests that are very similar to her tests.

Loved her and her teaching style. Very straightforward, doesn't mess around. She gives you any and all resources to pass the tests, you just have to put the work in. I highly recommend taking 119A as well, as it adds 2% to your grade. She's great. Attendance mandatory.

NOBLE is a great professor. I didn't take the hybrid or the supplement 119A unit class but I took advantage of the avialble resources. I spent the necessary time on my homework until I was 100% sure of how to do each problem. The quizzes mirror the homework so know how to do them. Go to the FREE midterm and final review by KELLY SPOON! She's great!

Spoon feeds you the information. Would take again, but watch the online classes when they're due and do the work on time. With that done, you should be able to ace the class.

Noble was quick to reply to emails which was nice. Would recommend taking with Stat119A if you don't already have experience with statistics. Never even looked at the textbook.

This class was amazing. Very dry lecture and I almost fell asleep a lot of the time but if you actually go and pay attention in class it's very straightforward. She gives you so many practice problems and homework assignments to practice the work. Super easy if you even try a little bit. I recommend taking stat 119A with it for extra practice.

She has a dry, monotone voice that's difficult to listen to, especially in the online portion of the hybrid class. Do the sample exams she posts online before the 2 midterms and final because that is exactly what will be on the test. Homework and online quiz due every week. Overall easy class.

A lot of people fail Noble's class. Since I was scared to fail I signed up for the 119a class, went to every class, did every hw assignment (AND MADE SURE I UNDERSTOOD IT).The reason so many people fail is because they don't do all the work. If you put in the effort and use all the resources she gives the class is really easy. I finished with an A.

Noble isn't bad. She is accomodating and considerate. I honestly missed class a lot and gave my friends my clicker. I didn't even watch the online collabs. Wouldn't recommend this. Try to go to class and just always do the hw/quizzes. Go to Spoon's reviews. I crammed right before each test which was stressful. Put in some time and you'll pass.

Noble provides all the resources you need to be successful in her class. If you watch the online lectures, do the homework and quizzes till you have a 100% & study all her practice test you should ace the class (everything is straightforward). Came into this class thinking I was going to struggle but got a 97% by just putting the effort in.

It was tough. She gives you sample problems, homework, and old exams to practice with. Go to the review sessions when it is announced because it is very helpful. Sit in the front seats if you can't hear her.

If you pay attention and do your work you'll do fine. if you have to take stat 119 take her because she offers the most classes and it will be easier to find people who have her too. I did all of her online quizzes with a friend so it wasn't that bad. Not an easy A but there is a free A plus review session offered for her class that helps SO MUCH.

I hate math and I'm not naturally good at it, but I like getting good grades. I didn't pay attention to ANY of her lectures, just asked around for the clicker answers. Didn't watch collaborate at all. I went to tutoring for a week before the exams and the day she posts the quizzes/hw. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TUTORING ROOM!! She also rounded my grade.

Had the hybrid class which was not really bad at all. Love this class as everything is straightforward. Weekly hw and quizzes (2 attempts on quizzes). 2 exams and a final. Keep doing practice problems and know how to use your calculator. DO ALL practice exams and you will breeze through this class. Also offers 2% increase if you complete STAT119A

Despite what people usually say, this class wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It's not easy to get an A but it's not hard enough to fail. Everything you need to know about passing is in the syllabus. The hw was due every Friday and the quizzes were every Monday, so super straightforward and organized.

Noble made me love stats! She provides you with so much material to practice with and also helps you understand it quite easily. There is also free review sessions that tell you what will be on the exam and Noble also gives you practice tests. If you attend class, do the homework, do the practice tests, and got to the review sessions you're set!

Every point counts so make sure you get 100% on the online homework. Honestly she teaches well but I am not a math person. Her exams are multiple choice and can be tricky because you might do 3 steps when it required 5 steps and she will have the third step as the answer. Overall, not too bad.

Noble is easy to follow except some times she goes a little too fast. Easy to approach. Will use every second of class to teach. Only four minutes left? Get your clicker out! Skipping class is rough because you'll miss material and unless you give someone your clicker, those clicker points will hurt you if you don't get them. Chill class, nice prof

Noble is a really good and easy teacher. She explains the information very well and answers any questions that you might have. She does do one or two clicker questions per class, and those points really count! Homework and quizzes are online. She gives a lot of practice exams as well. Definitely take her!!

It is not a hard class. This being said you do need to put in the work. If you get behind it is hard to catch up. She responds to emails quickly. Take the 119A lab even if you just show up once a week you get a 2% grade bump at the end of the semester. home work is not to hard and you get to take the quizzes online twice. Study for the tests.

STAT119 is super easy. Just do the homework and show up to class and pay attention. The course reader is helpful, I suggest actually doing the problems with her in class and on the online lectures. Yeah, it's kind of boring, but it's an easy college class if you just put forth a little effort. Noble is super nice and she knows her stuff.

Though the stats code was required, do not buy the book with it-it's all online. Lectures were heavy and seemed long, make sure to get a coffee beforehand. Unlimited attempts on homework, weekly quizzes with two attempts each week, 2 tests 1 cumulative final. Homework and quizzes are open book online.

She requires you to buy her course manual which isn't too bad. But for a course textbook you should only buy the online code, not the textbook and code package. Clicker points are easy. Just make sure you know the material going into the midterms and the final. Don't wait till the end of class to try and bring your grade up.

stats in itself is hard she makes it easier to understand she's very accessible she stays on campus until 10pm sometimes. She can tell you put in effort so she'll help you out

It's a difficult course but Noble provides the resources too succeed. All of my friends who received poor grades and disliked her just didn't put in the work.

She has two midterms and a final. The midterms are 30 questions each and the final had around 50-60 questions. The final is 30% of your grade as well. There is a lot of homework and quizzes throughout the course as well. The lectures are boring but if you pay attention and write down what she writes, you'll be fine.

Math has always been an easy subject and stats was no different. She was clear in her lectures and would explain if you had any questions. Weekly homework and online quizzes (2attempts- takes highest score). Majority of your grade is based on three tests so if you want to do well you have to study for all of them. Clicker points for attendance.

She is the best math teacher I have ever had! I've never liked math, but I liked her class. She goes over every aspect that you need to know in lecture, and gives you so many practice problems before the exams it's easy to get an A if you work hard. You'll easily fail if you don't try. I recommend taking STAT119A also for the 2% grade boost.

The on-line homework and quizzes were not that bad because with the homework, you could work on it until you got 100% and the quizzes allowed 2 attempts. She handles huge classes very well and is extremely clear about what it takes to pass the class.

This class isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Yes, her lectures are boring & her voice gets annoying after a while, but if you show up to class and pay minimal attention, the material isn't all that hard. Lots of online quizzes & hw but easy to get As on. Do the practice exams before exam day and TAKE THE 119A CLASS!! Easy 2% on your grade.

This wasn't too challenging of a class. The online homework and quizzes add up, so aim for 100%. She posted study guides for the midterms, which show exactly what will be on them--study and practice those!!! Take Stat119A if you struggle with math because you get a 2% boost in the class.

Noble is great & provides extensive materials for the exams. I took the hybrid class & you MUST keep up with lectures. Quizzes + hw online +clicker Qs. I would suggest taking Stat119A with Collette and going to tutor room if math has been difficult for you, as it was for me. W/ constant practice, A is possible

Helen was great!! I took this class with no prior stats knowledge and was very nervous of what it would entail. However, Helen was very helpful with assisting me with the course and was always willing to help me in her office. I highly recommend taking her class because she makes her tests easy to understand and straight forward and reviews before.

Noble is GREAT! I hated stats in high school so I thought this class was going to be horrible & I was completely wrong. Noble teaches very well and very accessible. She has clicker questions so make sure you attend lecture. There is a quiz and chapter HW a week but very manageable. Stats 119A gives you a 2% boost in your grade so register for it!

I LOVED this class & I'm not even a stats major. Nobel makes this class enjoyable & quite simple. I was nervous about the subject but she lays everything out very clearly. I took the hybrid so just make sure to stay on top of videos & go to class b/c she reviews what was on the video. Do the practice exams a few times & you will be fine.

I LOVED Professor Noble! She is such a sweetheart and really cares about her students succeeding. Many people don't pass the class because they don't pay attention, but if you put some effort into the class, passing is SUPER easy. She does clicker points, but you don't have to show up to every class. I would recommend going to class though!

Going into this class I knew it was going to be tough, but honestly Professor Noble does everything she can to help you succeed. Anyone who has given her a bad rating is literally just lazy, if you put in effort and do the assignments you should be able to pass. She puts up sample exams before each test which are just like the real tests.

Although lectures can be a little boring she is an incredible professor. She really cares about helping her students not just pass the class, but actually understand the material. There are so many opportunities to get extra help in this class. Just do the work and actually try and you'll be okay.

Excellent teacher. Hard class but she really tries to make sure you get it. She is such a sweet lady and is really knowledgable in stats. she sets up tutor SI sections and is available on email to help you all the time. You must go to class to pass. just do all her tests reviews, really pay attention hard in class, and youll be fine.

I really liked Mrs. Noble's class. She was a great teacher and it was the first math class I've ever taken where I felt I learned. Sadly, I did bad on the last 2 exams because I didn't study enough. My final grade was a 79.82. I asked her if that would round up to an 80 and she said no. That was the only thing I wasn't happy about. Highly recommend

I took Stat in high school so I did have background knowledge of all material taught. She did an AMAZING job at teaching. Goes through examples with you so you can understand what was happening. Provides test reviews & final reviews which were set up exactly like the exams, if you put in effort you should do fine. Recommend STAT119A for extra help

I would recommend taking her hybrid class as her videos are a lot clearer than her lectures. The class is quite easy if you watch the videos on time, do the the homework and the quizzes. Her weekly quizzes are pretty much the same as the homework which you can do as many times as you want (quiz twice). If you're really bad at math I recommend 119A

Impressed by Noble and her ability to teach thousands of students at a time. She was very mother-y in a good way. British-ish accent made things funny. If you are hesitant about math, take 119A with this class. Helps a lot and gives you a 2% grade boost in regular 119. Do the homework and study and you can get an A. Don't slack off.

Noble is nice and wants you to to succeed and encourages you to go to SI & to go to office hours if you need help. Her voice is cool but made me want to go to sleep sometimes. Do the hw and retake quizes you and attend lecture and you will get a A/B. TAKE STATS119A IT BUMPS YOU 2% WHICH GOT ME TO AN B. Difficult but definitely passable with effort.

Take 119a even if you know your stuff. It gives you 2% points at end of semester. Nobel is a good professor who really cares about her students. She's a nice person. As with all math classes, you must do the homework. She let's you turn in homework assignments late but you get a letter grade knocked off each day so it can be dangerous for procrastinators. You get unlimited tries on the homework problems so if you fail this class its all your fault.

She's very organized and very clear with what you have to do and what she expects. She does iclicker questions so attendance is mandatory. Stats is a somewhat hard class in general but noble is a good professor.

Noble has an English accent, but is easy to understand. She answers and questions and is super helpful. She is a good professor, and teaches everything thoroughly. Have to work hard to get a good grade, since tests are heavy.

Noble is really nice. Class is mandatory because she always gives clicker questions in the beggining and the very end so be aware. It was a hybrid course and she teached everything through a video posted on blackboard and during class meetings it was basically practicing from the video. You will need some effort but you can pass with a good grade.

She is my favorite teacher at SDSU!!! Stats was so easy with her. She gives you a course manual that you take notes in and is extremely helpful!! She answers all questions and sincerely wants you to do well in her class. She posts practice tests that are exactly the tests and uses clickers a lot so show up to get easy points and you'll be fine

This class is a challenge, but if you do the homework and ask for help when you need it, you'll be fine. Use the online textbook, the paper one is a waste of money. Noble is really really nice and wants to help. Come to class for clicker points.

You have to go to class to learn it. If you didn't take stats in high school expect a B or lower. Do the homework and actually pay attention when doing it. You don't have any other options of other teachers so you'll be fine with Helen.

This is my first time rating a professor , and I had to rate professor Noble. Guys she is amazing .. Im not someone who is good at math she helped me through the semester answered all my question and helped me pass the class I love her .. I do recommend her ��

She is a very good teacher and the class is very straightforward with what you are going to learn. It is definitely hard material but she allows for questions to be asked and there is SI you can attend. I would definitely enroll in the class where you meet twice a week and take STATS 119-A along with this class.

Take the 119A along with it to get a 2% grade boost. I got a solid B+, but if I had studied a lot more beforehand, would have ended up with an A-. I'm just telling you because I regret taking the chance i could have taken to do the best I could have, and I did not. Monotone, but just watch her lectures, show up, and study. You'll pass.

this class was pretty easy. half online and half in class sucks because the videos are boring and then the in-class is review of the videos but you still need to go for clicker points. Noble is nice enough and willing to help and going to SI sessions is really helpful too. will need graphing calculator, clicker, and course manual

I took this class half online/half in person. As long as you stay on top of the material (especially the online videos), you should be fine. The exams are hard but she posts lots of practice material on blackboard, so if you take the time to study you should be able to pass. I've never been great at math and I was able to get an A- in this class

Noble's class was not the easiest, sometimes she talks as if you've known about stats your whole life but other than that the class was good and very possible to pass with a good grade. Honest review for the average college student: Just go to lecture, read the manual she offers and you'll be fine. Clicker points come handy, if you get the homework tests are a breeze. She has a Harry potter accent but she's pretty chill & quick to reply to emails. If you suck that bad take A+ review. Slacked off at the end so got a C+, easy B tho

Literally just go to khan academy and watch how-to videos instead of going to class. Study her past exams that she posts and you wont have a problem. Tough class to get a straight A. Take her classes online or hybrid to get out of clicker questions.

Easiest class ever. 10 quizzes and 10 homework sets but they dont take long at all. If you know how to do homework, quizzes only take 10 minutes. Tests are really easy. She posts practice tests and they are exactly the same as the test. I just did practice test and I passed every test with an A. Go to class for clicker points.

Yes, the lectures are confusing but if you take Stats 119A, do SI tutorting , go to the tutor center and KEEP ON taking all the practice exams provided online you will succeed. Everyone complains because they are too lazy to put in any work and don't ask for help. They all want the easy way out and complain but don't even bother trying.

Noble got a lot of heat from kids I took this class with. People really harped on her for being a bad professor but I liked her! I'll admit she's a little dry but as long as you pay attention to the lectures, including the online ones, and do practice problems, you'll do fine. I didn't do those things and that's why I ended up with a C.
