Dr. Rarick is a very kind and sincere person. I took her for 226 & 227 and I have to say that I did not notice any abnormal or neurotic behaviors. The course is very fast paced with an enormous amount of material, so you need to keep up. People tend to blame the teacher when they do bad in classes. She is great & I do recommend her!

Very good teacher. None of the teachers keep pace with the syllabus for these classes. There is too much material and not enough time. That is not the fault of the instructor.

Be prepared to take daily quizzes. Thanks to her, I am prepared for Dental school. Study the notes she gives you, don't walk in late to class, pay attention to the lectures, do the labs, and read the sections of the books she is lecturing on and you will have an easy A. ^_^

It's the class that is hard, not the teacher. If you follow directions, and work hard, the work will be easier but never easy. She's pretty explicit how she wants things done. Lots of directions her way, follow it, study, & you'll be alright. Show her you'll work, & she'll help you.

So far so good! Semester is not over but I really like the Prof and rhis class. As long as you do the work and put forth effort you'll do just fine. I would highly recommend this Professor. :)

Good professor. Class is a lot of work. Lots of homework. Many quizzes. Need to study constantly. Exams manageable if you study for them and have consistently worked hard. Don't take if too many outside interests.

she is really really dedicated teacher. she knows the material inside and out and is very clear and thorough in her explanations. she prepares you very well for what lies ahead and honestly all the hard work i put into her class paid off because i can still remeber most of it. attendence is HUGE, missing even one class will put you behind.

I'm a sophomore at Wright and I took a bunch of science classes (I major in nursing) and this is the best professor I have ever had! She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, organized and fair. Yes, the class is tough, but it's not her fault. She is going to do anything she can to help you succeed. I highly recommend this professor!

WOW! I wish I had Prof. Rarick years ago! I'm retaking anatomy (bio 226) because I got a C first time around. Prof. Rarick is an amazing teacher! Yes, the workload is intense but her lectures and explanations are top notch. She really knows her stuff and she's super intelligent. She loves to teach and help out her student!

Professor Rarick is an outstanding teacher. I was overwhelmed at the beginning of the course because she handed out a stack of packets. Everything she gave was needed. The class is tough but she explains everything and lets us know that studying is the only way to pass this course. I would recommend her and wish she taught 227

The best teacher EVER! I took her last semester and I wish she could teach me BIO 227. Her class is difficult but if you study ur notes and do labs you'll get an A. She explains very well and makes each chapter so interesting. I would strongly recommend her! She should teach BIO 227.

She is very hard! she knows her materials but her useless colorings are never ending. I went to her class every single day and still recieve a D and I never missed an exam (she gives exam/quizzes watever u want to call it like everyday)

Fair teacher,but very cardinal, and for my taste to arogant- she thinks that there is no better teacher than her. Her saying "you better study" seemed to never end. Otherwise she is OK, class is not that hard as it seems to be at the beginning,I passed it with an A, and I didn't have any knowledge of medical terms before.

class seems very hard but its all about organization & breakdown study time. Her coloring hw really do help. If you are organized and you breakdown the material to study every day plus hw you will pass. Quizzes everyday but that is to help you study and for you to really learn the material. Its more time consuming than hard. You must attend to pass

this class is more time consuming than it is hard.you have quizzes /hmwrk every day and exams one after another.and even if its not that hard you still have to spend a lot of time studying and i feel that she doesnt understand that people have to work have children and have a life to deal with.if you can manage your time wisely then take this class

Dr.Rarick is THE professor to take for biology 226. She is the most knowledgeable prof in the entire department. Her class is meticulously structured and she delivers her lectures with crystal clarity. You will not regret taking her class as she pushes all her students to work HARD so they can be successful in their clinical programs

Professor Rarick is an amazing professor she cares about people and she will make it possible to meet with students she is not hard but she not easy either if I worked harder I feel I could had received better than a C I highly recommend her for biology 226 I wish she taught Bio 227 but keep up the great work I can't thank you enough

Dr. Rarick is a bit--eccentric. That's OK with me though. She is tough with slackers, and she is a bit arrogant, but she is a brilliant woman and she is very knowledgeable. I love that she doesn't accept mediocre work or BS. Highly recommend her. If you want to succeed in the MCAT, take her class.

She is amazing! She is not easy, thats for sure. Its worth it though. You will LEARN in her class. She doesn't put up with slackers so you're gonna have to be on top of things. I took Dr.Rarick for medical terminology bio 120 before and i took her this semester for Bio 226 Anatomy and Physiology.I loved her teaching style, she teaches all topics in depth with clarity and she generously answers all the questions during lecture. I got a good grade in this class, because she teaches so well. I wish she also taught bio227.

She is strict but also humorous. She will help you get through the hard parts of the course yet it is your obligation to study the class material. Professor Helen Rarick is a very intelligent teacher, i enjoyed her class.

I'm an ESL student, so for me Dr. Rarick has been one of the best instructors I've had. Her speech is wonderful, very fluent and clear. I found her class very interesting, she really knows the material. Looking forward to have her on 226

I LOVE RARICK! Sure, her class is hard. What it all comes down to is organization and studying her homework notes and handouts. The colorings/drawings help alot. She's very thorough with the material and tries very hard to make it as clear as possible. Study her notes and drawings and I guarantee you won't be sorry.

Every one knows human Anotomy class is not easy. Professor Rarick really knows how to lecture. Her class was so interesting and fun for me. She made me fall in love with biology. Just make sure to study a lot and you will have no problem earning an A. This is the first time I give a good rate & coment about a bio professor. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Rarick is good professor. Her note handout was extremely helpful. In terms of lab there was little assistance, and each student had to learn the lab material mostly on their own. I think Rarick is an intelligent professor and thorough but not always approachable with questions and a bit intolerant at times. Over all great learning experience.

Anatomy I isn't the easiest class but her lectures and notes help so much. I didn't do much studying because i was able to understand a lot just listening to her lectures and reading her notes. The labs can be difficult, but there is no penalty for getting questions wrong. Tests can be a little tough, but that's only because the material is tough.

I must say from all the professors I've taken, Rarick is extremely thorough; and methodical. She works hard, and somehow teaches a tough subject quite well. She is also very clear about what will be on her test. But you must work! She is very knowledgable in her field. Great professor, tackles a tough subject with ease!

Professor Rarick will help you with the lectures and lab if you need to. The first few exams are not that hard. But the latter are more into physiology so it is hard. But all in all she is a very good professor, i tagged it as tough because the material is tough :-)

Wonderful Professor! She works hard and loves her job. She has taught me so much and really inspired me to learn and made me earn a fondness for Science. I would highly recommend Dr. Helen Rarick if you really want to truly understand A&P. By no means is this class easy but, Dr. Rarick makes it so worthwhile!

Dr. Rarick says it's a "weedout" class, but if you just reviewmemorize the notes, you'll be fine. She also gives plenty of extra credit. The assignments can be easy points, but admittedly, you do have to work to complete them because the answers she's looking for aren't guaranteed to be in the notestextbook. Google will be your friend.

The beginning was very tough! You have to work hard but the knowledge is your reward!!! You will definitely learn in this class! Lots of quizzes, lots of homework, lots of studying... Towards the end, there are chances for earning extra credit. You can tell professor Rarick has years of experience and know how to explain difficult material well!

But when she goes over the material it all makes so much more sense. Try not to miss a class or you'll miss a lot and it's hard to catch up if you're not on top of it. Great professor, REALLY takes the time to explain and go into detail about the material because it's difficult. She's willing to change due dates and test dates to make it a little easier on you, but she definitely challenges you. Lots of homework and quizzes or tests every day. However, she knows her stuff and the final is based off of her notes. Pay attention during lecture!! Dr. Rarick is great instructor. She knows what she is talking about. She will put you to hard work with homeworks (lots) but it paid off at the end. All question on the exam will be seen/heard during lectures. Study hard but you will get a good grades. She is awesome enough to give a lot of extra credit and curve grades at the end.

She is passionate about what she does and it shows! It is definitely a 200 level class, a lot of quizzes, reading and studying. She recommends 2 hours a day and she ain't lying! Make sure your binders are in order, the way she wants them! She is a stickler but you'll learn a lot and appreciate her for it! Would take her again!

The class is difficult, but she explains everything really well. If you study, you'll pass. She gives quizzes mostly every single class period which helps for the exams. We also had a lot of homework to do and she collects those during midterm and finals for extra points.

Hands down in my opinion, the best Anatomy and Physiology professor there is in Wright. Very knowledgeable and approachable if you have a question you dont understand, but I recommend asking questions either after class or during breaks or when she's grading hw. She gives a little extra credit, but if you want an A, you have to earn it.

Mrs. Rarick was the best proffesor I have taken at Wright College. The material is very hard, but she explains everything very good and makes sure that you understand. These are tough classes but Rarick is AMAZING! She knows her material and explains everything to a tea. Very accessible for questions. Lots of tests and quizzes, and be prepared to put in alot of time to study. She will prepare you for your medical field career. Her lectures are long, but interesting and she uses lots of pics to help.

Dr. Rarick is a great teacher. She is strict but nursing, pharmacy aren't easy; there you deal with people's lives so you better study. Professor Rarick is pretty great, yes lectures are long and there are many tests and quizzes but the class its so worth it!

She gives a lot of work to do which isn't really necessary. Gives lots of extra credit and opportunity to pull up overall grade. Border for A is 93% though, but if you show that you're serious about the class, she'll consider up to 91 or 92% as an A. Lectures are really good, don't take her class for granted!

The class requires a lot of commitment on your part, and you have to really study outside of the classroom. She gives great lectures and makes sure you are understanding the material. The quiz and exam questions are hard but fair, and they really prepare you to succeed in the final exam. I highly recommend taking her course!

I took bio227 during the summer. It was really fast paced but due to Professor Rarick, i had an easier time. make sure to come to class and listen to her lectures and you wont need to study as much during finals. I never had to study for this class and ended up w/ an A. She ended up curving my B+ to an A she is veryunderstanding and one of the best

Dr. Rarick is not just one of the best, she is the BEST teacher at wright College! I took both bio 226 and 227 with her, and yes she is that good! She breaks down the material, takes questions during lecture making sure students understand. Quizzes and exams are based on her "NOTES" so study her notes, do your homework, you will pass with ease!!!

Dr. Rarick is a very strict teacher but at the same time if you take her class serious you will not have any problem to pass her class. Make sure you take notes out of her power point and get opportunity to earn extra credits. On top of it she is very understanding and gives you an idea what you can expect before evey quiz or test.

Great professor for a tough class. Her tests are hard and you have to study, but she is up front about how tough her class is. If you study for her tests you'll do well on the final and you'll realize just how much knowledge you retained from the beginning of the semester. Great professor to take if you are considering going into health. She explains the material in the easy way for you to understand and will answer any questions you have. However, be prepared for a lot of material covered during one semester and a considerable amount of quizzes and tests.

She says you should be studying 2.5 hours a day for a class, which is excessive, but expect to put in a lot of work studying if you want a good grade. Great prep for nursing school.

Its a vocab class, you will need to study independently on your own. If going into the medical field, take the course seriously, it will benefit you.

If you want to learn anatomy , TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, she's not the easiest but she's sure GOOD! Her lectures may seems hard, but she explain them so well that you have to get if you are listening. Have to put some effort to get an A, but it's anatomy- a lot of staff to remember. Homework is only there to help you learn and understand staff easier.

Helen was amazing yall!! She really made sure you understood the topics. Only thing you really have to do is pay attention in class and get labs in on time. Do both, and youll pass. She offers extra credit towards the end and curves.

You will most likely hate her by the beginning of the course, as we all did, but you'll love her by the end of it. She is very strict and detailed but she'll always remind you her course is a science course. Doesn't offer many EC opportunities, gives quizzes every class and exams every 2 quizzes.
