Miss Helena is probably one of the best professors I have had. Her overall grading criteria makes it easier for students to get an A. The tests are a little confusing, but gives extra credit on all of them. She also gives numerous opportunities for students to get an A. An awesome person. She also makes her class very interesting.

This class was fun and low stress. The concepts are easy to learn. She doesn't penalize you for attendance but it's easier to just go to lecture than pick through her online notes and the textbook. She is very nice, gives extra credit. You don't have to do a project if you test well. The wording on the multiple choice test can be a bit ambiguous.

Her tests are based almost entirely on the lectures, with one or two textbook questions thrown in. She will always answer questions and simplifies the material so that's it's very easy to understand. Extra credit for every test from bonus questions and for attending the next lecture. You have to try to fail.

There are 4 tests which are the only grades you receive but there is extra credit on every test, plus she basically hands out extra credit points for just showing up. Mrs. Kopecky is awesome, she gives powerpoints that are cut into tiny pieces so you don't need to memorize anything unnecessary. 4 tests, all use scantrons with 50 questions and a bonus question at the end. The tests are honestly so easy I'm pretty sure I got a perfect score once all of the extra credit was added, which is a ton.

For me, not an easy A but her lectures are awesome. She can take one concept and phrase five questions from it, so if u just memorize without understanding, tests will be difficult. The practice tests are very helpful for exam Also, there is an optional paper to replace your lowest test grade and lots of extra credit. Would definitely recommend her

Great professor, really makes it easy to learn psychology. There are four tests worth 100 points, you can write an essay to take a way a low test score but other than that there is no essay requirements. Extra credit is given throughout the course. Uses power point notes, if you need a more deeper understanding than the textbook is useful.

Nice prof. While it's not required I highly suggest attending every class as the note taking really matters. And there will be a lot of note taking. Her exams are about average, but she offers extra credit after each one if you show up to class. Reading the text is supposed to be mandatory but I didn't read any of it and still passed with an A.

I highly recommend taking Professor Kopecky's Psychology courses. She's always very happy and calm and explains things very clearly, so even if you take her class at 9 am, you'll want to go to class. Attendance is optional, but if you pay attention in class and take the practice tests, you'll do well on the exams.

Don't rush out to buy the book! She'll give you the option to buy a different one that is cheap! She's sweet and caring and wants everyone to succeed. The class covers a lot of what you learned in Intro to Psych. You have to do a presentation in class, but she gives you a lot of control in the process.

Mrs. Kopecky is an extremely wonderful professor, she is very invested in the material and not super quirky, she uses scantron on her tests, she has a little bit of an accent but it's pretty light. she really wants you to attend the class, however, so if you only really like to show up on test days then don't take her class.

I took this online course in the summer and it was by far the easiest and most enjoyable online course I have taken at ACC. The online lectures are short and informative. The discussion boards and writing assignments are simple & graded easily. The tests are timed and all online at home. If you skim the chapters before the test you will make an A.

So I wrote 5 pages of the essay, first draft was bad, then I fix it so I got 95 of that. She is willing to help individuals and stayed after class to talk to you.

Human growth and development class was an easy A. Mostly discussion boards, essays an exams. This was during the summer so each one of these things were due each week so it was heavy work. Exams are times but not proctored which was a plus!

Great professor, great class, very easy to get good credit. Yes there is a textbook, but it is a free pdf online. 4 unit modules, each with a discussion post, a video summary assignment, and a test. Vid. sum. can be tedious given her rules for it, but it's not too bad. I took this class asynchronous and it was very relaxed. Tests aren't that hard.

I thought she was a great professor. This class was 100% online and she graded by very few things. Each unit had the same 4 assignments: Two discussion posts, video summary, vignette quiz and unit test, there was an opportunity to receive 20 points of extra credit in each unit as well. There really is no reason why you can't pass, just do the work.

Dr. Kopecky made all her work very clear and expectations were set from the beginning of the course. She offered extra credit on each module which helped. Clear deadline was set on assignments. There was a 20% deduction on late work which seems fair. She was very accessible and answered all questions in a timely manner. Definitely recommend her!!!

Best professor in my opinion. Great at answering questions and easy grading criteria. She has these practice quizzes that help you prepare for the exam. Some of the material is on the test word for word! As long as you study hard it will be a breeze.

I'm taking Kopecky's spring semester 8-week course, and OMG it's SO easy. To be honest, don't worry at all about passing. Little to no struggle. There are 4 modules (about 1 per month), each with 1 post on reading (which is easy bc it's ur opinion), 1 responding to classmate, one essay (which is also easy bc it's ur opinion 2), and 1 OPENBOOK test.

She is amazing! Took her Abnormal Psych class and had a lot of fun learning. She makes lectures interesting and clearly knows what she's talking about. A few tests and a presentation, but she understands people are nervous speaking and gives clear grading criteria for it. Everyone in my class was understanding about nervousness.

Awesome teacher, I took her distance learning class and although it had some assignments that took a long time, it was all spaced out very nicely, and the material was easy to understand. The only thing that I hated was that the textbook wasn't available online and I had to pay $200+ to get it. Book: Abnormal Psychology 10th edition.

She responds to emails and the assignments dont take much time her class is very well made with modules and 4 extra credit assignments, Theres an essay A or B you can pick test 2 discussion posts and 1 extra credit per module possibly a quiz as well but very easy.

Great professor. Took her online asynchronous class this term and it was amazing in every way. Great communication, good grading criteria and feedback, very clear instructions on assignments, and very good material provided. I enjoyed her class very much. I can't express how much I recommend you take her course.

Best professor ever! She is truly amazing and cares deeply about your success. Her lectures are thorough/easy to follow with plenty of time to ask questions and ends class early so you can talk to her personally. There were 4 in person exams, 1 presentation, and extra credit. Tests are based mostly on her lectures with textbook as supplemental.

She is the best professor I've ever had. She responds extremely quickly about things and is super sweet, she wants you to succeed. The assignments are very easy and straightforward, I had a perfect score in the course and it is very possible for anyone to do so. Tests are open book, which helps a lot. Discussion and essays are graded easily too.

Professor Kopecky is very clear with her grading guidelines. I would take her again in a heartbeat. She gives great feedback. As long as you read the chapters and follow the rubric, you will get an easy A. Her exams are easy as long as you read the text.

Professor Kopecky is absolutely amazing. Easy class as long as you meet the deadlines and put effort into your work. Extra credit is provided, and tests are open book so there's no reason to do poorly in her class! Her videos are very helpful; she is very well spoken and professional. One of the best professors I've had so far.

Overall the class was pretty simple! There's 4 main tests, along with small quizzes, writing assignments, and discussion boards. Everything is open book and she offers extra credit after every test. You'll be fine as long as you keep up with assignments :)

AMAZING! She doesn't post long lectures, just short informative videos, so it is mostly reading. But, tests are all open note/open book. Tons of extra credit opportunity, not that you'll even need it. One discussion post/response and essay per unit. Very light load class plus she is so sweet and makes personal responses to your posts and essays!

Took her async Intro to Psyc and inperson Abnormal Psyc classes. Good professor over all, no major critiques. For all my fellow antisocial folks, there is a 10-minute presentation in abnormal psyc.
