good teacher; goes at a slow pace for students who need it; very easy

She is very easy and as long as you attend class and do some homework, you'll pass. She offers a take home final!! Teaches very slow pased and is very detailed.

when someone would dare even ask a question and even after she would ask us if we have any questions, i would think to myself "oh no, you've angered it!" ... but other than that, the material she teaches is really EASY! you cannot fail... serio

Her class is easy because she is very helpful and clear. I like how she introduce new concepts then do examples for you to understand it. Some students ask unclear and stupid question, so she ask YOU questions to know what you're asking. She is a nice lady and she want you to pass the class!

I failed stats with a horrible teacher. I learned nothing so when i took her it made sense. She is clear and does everything step by step, very easy to follow. She also does a lot to help students pass with extra credit and a curve. She was great.

she is rude to dumb people thats all to it. i dont blame her for being rude because people are just really dumb sometimes. she is very helpful and wants everyone to learn. just do your work and study and you`ll get a good grade

I have to say I really didn't like Mrs. Humphry's that much while taking the class. I felt that she did downgrade certain students some when they asked dumb questions but that is a part of instructing. I would like to say thank you though Mrs. Humphry for making me take the final even though I more than happy to get a C in your class. I took it and I got a B in the course and that changed my entire opinion of her. She wants to help but not look like a softy.

Every test is multiple choice and is based on the lectures. There is an average of about 34 questions on every test and 4 of them are extra credit. Her class is very easy and humphry is the easiest stats teacher in delta. Just study her study guides and you will get an A every time on the tests. if you have stats(math12) she is an easy A.

If you actually want to learn something of how do to prob & stats, she is perfect. Many notes and examples are given. She treats you like a true college student and expects you to have studied. If you ask the questions wrong, she'll make you feel silly that you didn't ask right, thus making her sound harsh to the peope who are there to just pass

this class is easy as long as you go to class and take notes during lectures. she can be mean at times but overall she's a GREAT teacher. she's really helpful and wants her students to do great in the class. she even has test reviews before exams. she hands out test reviews a week before exams and they are really helpful

Didnt pass my 4 math classes in HS with a C or better, but am Math level 3 on assessment test. So this was a quick study.Instructor sometimes made thigns confusing,but textbook was good enough. Extra credit questiosn on tests, only need to turn in 2/3 of homework. I finished the class with 109% and I was only ranked 2nd in the class. Plus Shes HOT!

Her class isn't too hard, but you definitely have to work for your grade. She's actually one of the better stats teachers. Homework is due every class, but it forces you to do the work, plus it boosts your grade. Only downfall is her attitude. She can be mean and intimidating.

Excellent, analytical Math professor. You must be willing to write a problem 5x if you miss it because she wants you to never forget it. I would recommend her to anyone. They should put her back in the Math Lab where she belongs, the computer math lab that is. She has empathy and sincere care that the students learn and thrive.

Clear and concise

Okay well Ms Humpreys doesnt teach for nothing so you better do your part. Shes an expert in her field and tries her best to make every student pass... I loved her class but be prepared to do alot of studying...as long as you attend class and do the work homework and studying you will get an A

She explains the material very clear. She'll help you if you have any questions about the material, but sometimes she doesn't have patience to work with students that are slow learners. But her test reviews are EXTREMELY helpful!!! and make sure to attend class everyday or else you'll be LOST!

is very clear when teaching subject. dont ask stupid questions(trust me there ARE stupid questions). A total of 7 tests, 12 homeworks, and 6 test reviews. she gets the best 6 of 7 tests, best 10 of 12 homeworks, and test reviews are extra credit. Is very fair and lets you retake tests. if you dont understand math take pre-algebra, it'll help

This teacher is extremely helpful if you need assistance in Math. Maybe she comes from a strict background in teaching because she doesnt like stupid questions and will make you feel stupid if you ask them. Shes very pricise.But apart from her personality she is a good math teacher but I did spend a lot of time in the Math tutoring center.

One of the easiest STATS teachers in Delta. Attend lectures. Easy homework and she gives you 1 to 2 weeks to get it finished. Wait until you are by yourself to ask her a question. Overall, I would recommend her for a statistics teacher if you want an easy A.

Most likely the answer to your question is in your notes. Just take notes, and do the homework. She also gives study guides that are similar to actual test. Easy A!

Excellent teacher. Clear, makes you take the info and think for yourself but is there to help when stuck. Not harsh just wanting students to think for themselves and follow simple clear rules to make the class work for everyone.

The class is pretty straightforward if you actually go. She gives examples and you can follow along in your workbook. About 10 worksheets, six tests, and a take home final. She gives you sample tests in the workbook that are just like the real tests. Good teacher but she can seem harsh at times.

No textbook is required. She is rude,but she's a good teacher. I failed one of her test, but I got A's on all of her other test and got an A in the class. Just read the workbook,take notes,have a graphing calculator, attend reviews for the exams, and NEVER MISS LECTURE!

I think she was a great teacher. She explained things well and did many examples. Just take good lecture notes and be there everyday. Easy class if you attend and take notes. I got an A so its not impossible.

This teacher is great! She knows her material and does a good job teaching it. I have always struggled with math and got an A in her class. Despite what everyone says that she is mean, she is a good teacher. By her being strict it keeps order in class and prevents people from disrupting class.

very boring class, if you want to learn at a fast pace DO NOT take this class, she teaches very slow but she knows what she is doing. explains everything well but only on the day of the lecture so be sure to always attend

She is very good at explaining things in the lecture, however if you do not understand anything after she explained it she gets really mad. Her explanation of things was relatively slow and helpful for guiding you in the lecture. The worksheets were alright and the tests were relatively the same concept of the worksheets.

Lots of people argue her attitude because she can be sharp, but ultimately she's a nice lady! At least you know where you stand with her and she's direct ... She gave me chances and helped me out WHENEVER I needed her. The class is fast-paced & difficult!! No doubt but it's possible. I loved her myself :)

elementary statistics::: that's is what she teaching if you have no knowledge of the subject this is the class to take unless your a "dum-ass" you will pass this course!!

She is very specific on what she expects. You must attend class, every lecture is related to the homework. Gives extra credit. Takes off 2 lowest hw assignments. You get what you put in. She has an accent, but you'll get used to it, it's not bad. Don't ask questions especially when she just went over it, study it and ask her alone if your lost.

Don't know why the bad reviews. Lectures are very informative, gives you everything you need to be successful. One thing she does not like: Don't play hookie and show up asking questions about something she already covered. If you don't come to class and are not good at algebra, you won't pass. Again she gives (spoon feeds) what you need.

I like her because she is very detailed in her lecture which makes me understand the mathematical concepts. I appreciate the way she gives feedback and scores on assignments. She is fair and she wants students to read, participate and work hard, as expected from us.

I thought she was a great teacher. People complaining probably don't pay attention or skip lectures. Go to her office hours if you need help on homework, she's very sweet on on one, just gets frustrated with students in class asking too many questions. I was in a car accident and missed class for a week, she let me turn in homework late

This teacher wasn't bad at all. She didn't mind if I came late , or if I was absent. However, Make sure that you attend her class, if math isn't your strongest subject. She collects homework every week. She doesn't accept anything late. Tests aren't too bad (they're just like the review). Only bad thing is, she seems to be frustrated on test days.

Not an easy class but if you put in minimal effort you should pass. If you have taken HS stats then you should be fine. 15 hw assignments in addition to 4 exams plus a final. Sounds like a lot of work but in reality it not. It is time consuming though. Tests can be easy but the difficulty depends on if you know the material. Not much interaction.

i took the online class in summer and really liked her. There were 15 homework assignments, 4 tests and a final, along with two offline worksheets. It is a lot of homework but really did help me pass. Easy and a nice proffesor.

Great prof, she cares about her students and reminds them of due dates. She also kept opening up overdue assignments to give students a chance to pass the class. We had 17 homewrorks, 4 tests, 1 final and 4 offline worksheets; to do those, you'll need to print them out, do the work in pen and then scan them with any scanner app and post them. Easy!

I took her for Precalculus (Math 39) because she was the only professor teaching that semester. I was a bit terrified from all of these comments, although I can say form experience that she is a very GOOD professor. It was her first time teaching the course and she provided good notes in her lecture and print-out solutions to hw. Her tests are MC.

Her Stats online is all open from day 1 so you can get ahead and finish the entire course before the end of the semester. 16 HW, 4 tests, 1 final, 1 worksheet. Class is not easy but if you do the work you'll pass cuz she gives 3 chances to redo each assignm. so you can improve grade. I did not use neither txtb nor TI84 calculator!

Easy A if you have taken AP stats before. Her instructions on home work is clear and easy to read. There are notes in the work book, so if you need help, refer back to that and the lecture notes. Students say she is a mean crazy teacher that is all over the place but the truth is that she is a great professor who doesn't like students who procrastinate. You have to put in time for her homework and lectures and practice her study guides and you will pass the class. she also lets you retake the lowest test score at the math lab.

Show up, do the work, study, and you will pass. This professor is straight forward and clear on homework, quizzes, and tests. Her reviews are very similar to the test. I took Math 12 and it was not hard at all. Got 95-100% on all her quizzes. It is doable, some people just don't know how to put in the effort.

I started off class kind of confused, but I went to her office hours and got back on track. This class has geometry, probability, statistics and volume and area, metric system. A lot of different math ,if you come to class you should pass, because she explains it good. But she also gets mad when u ask questions. I suggest office hours if confused
