She is very nice but sometimes does not use a michrophone and she teaches in those stadium size rooms. The class is easy only because she curves. Only 3 tests and one term paper. Still, she is approachable and very sweet and very very smart!
Dr. Willard is one of the sweetest, kindest and caring professionals that this University has ever been blessed with. I had her class in fall 98 and I enjoyed it very much. God Bless You Dr. Willard and your work!!!!!!!

She is definitely one of the sweetest teachers I've ever had. She really cares about her students and really wants you to make a good grade. I recommend her to anyone and everyone!
I had her for Bio 101 and 102, and Zoology. She is VERY approachable, encourages students to come to her office, and her test are ok, but she curbs those grades and attendance. Show up for her class, study for test, and you'll be ok. I would recommend her
Very easy class. The problem I had was she rambles on about off-subject things. Although her nonsense stories make for good humor. My favorite was the story about the frog and the rock.

Lectures are random, kinda tough to follow, but tests come straight from study sheet she makes out for you!
Really cares about her students! Thinks I am funny because I sit in the front and nearly fall asleep right in front of her. She is Wonderful!
Dr. Willard, although a bit long winded at times, is probably one of the most brilliant women I have ever met. She is more than willing to help and even had a few people over to her house for dinner and a study session.
What was that? She speaks very quietly, so get where you can hear. Lectures are very random. She gives you a study sheet and the test comes right from that. Very nice!

Tests are a little tough but she curves like 15 pts per test so you will be ok
The only thing that I have actually been able to hear her say so far is something about a small animla riding on a camel's back. She's a really sweet lady though. looks like humpty dumpty

She is a very good teacher. Her tests can be hard but she is excellent. She is hard to hear so you have to listen closely but she is very knowledgable.
Nice lady.Sit close to the front, because she whispers. She will let the whole class know if you step out to use the bathroom. Average tests. Just read the material and go to class. She gives extra credit for coming to class sometimes.

Very easy class, but it is about as interesting as The Homes Shopping Network. You can barely hear her. However, I recommend taking her for an easy A. Just do the study guides and take lots of coffee!!!!

I hate biology and I never paid attention. I got a bunch of extra credit, did the assignments and showed up to class. and did well
I liked the class, didn't show up for most of the lectures. I signed on for biology and ended up in a class where an old woman talked about: force feilds, frogs that live in force feilds, homeless mexicans that die in her garden and Egypt. Over all good.
She is a very quiet spoken teacher with an old woman personality and she is very ill sometimes and stays sick alot. I asked her for a handout i missed and she went off on me and said i don't know who you think you are and this is not high school.

Didn't have a clue what as going on in class, but I studied the study guides for the tests and made a B. She sent me a hateful email back one time because I refered to her as Ms. instead of Dr.
She is a very boring teacher, but if you do the study guides and read the book then you'll be fine. I went in and met w/ her b/c I was on the borderline of an A and a B, and she's the type of teacher who will give an A for caring. Do the study guides...it covers the whole test.
The hottest female professor on campus, Dr. Henry Willard is the biology teacher on everyone's Christmas list. Take her for an A, sucka.

Dr. Willard is a very smart lady. Having said that, she is not a good teacher...at all. She does give lots of extra credit for showing up to class, just remember to bring something to do during class or you'll be bored out of your mind.
Dr. Williard is a great professor. You have to be at least a little interested in Biology to be able to pay attention in class. She gives alot of good information and gives a study guide on tests..including finals.
Dr. Willard is great! She definately knows what she is talking about. Even though it may seem like she is making it all up. TAKE HER! Very Easy to cheat on her test. Her test come straight from the study guide. Go, show up, doe ex credit and you'll be fine!
She was hard to understand but she is rather easy. If you do all your assignments do allright in lab and ok on the tests you will have no problem!!! SHE IS SUPER NICE!!!!
Sweet lady, horrible lecturer. Gets off-track, quiet monotone voice, hard to hear. Will fall asleep in class, take coffee! Gives study guide but is just a page with huge list of topics. Tests fairly difficult just because of material but gives lots of extra points and curves. Not hard to get an A.
Dr. Willard is GREAT! I just want to give her a huge hug sometimes~ Oh, and to the person down below that said it was easy to cheat... if you have to cheat to make it through zoology, then you must not be the brighest crayon in the box. Don't take advantage. DO your own work. Drives me crazy!

Because she is very old, she is hard to understand. However, she is very caring, helpful, and easy. This class should get you an A or B, if you never come to class C. She gives extra points for going to class. This teacher is highly recommended.

As long as you study for tests and do lab, very easy. The most boring lectures I've ever heard, though. I'm usually comatose by end of class.
Im a senior Bio major with a health science concentration. Willard is very easy, but chances are it will come to bite you in the butt. If you can, suck it up and take Redding for both A and P 1 and 2. It will help you tremidously in the long run. Trust me!!!!
I did not learn a thing in her class, and came out with a B. You have to sit in the front to hear her. She is a nice lady, but needs to retire, as she has a hard time with the class at times. Study hard for her tests though.
The class is easy, and Dr. Willard is a really nice lady. She tells alot of new stories/random stories during her lectures so...paying attention can be a little difficult. Her study guides help alot, and the tests aren't that bad.

Good if you want an easy A. I'm not a biology major, so I was not too worried about actually learning too much. I tended to work on stuff for other classes in her class. If you want to hear what she's saying, sit in the first three rows. Very much an environmentalist, so when she talks about ecology, PAY ATTENTION. Otherwise, just read the book.

Dr. Willard is one of the sweetest professors I have ever had. She is funny, and God forbid you get up and leave her class while she is teaching. You will never make that mistake again. I had her freshman year and everytime someone got up she would tell them bye and wave. Funny Funny Lady!
The class was a little boring, but easy. Sometimes it was hard to understand what she was saying. It was funny when someone would leave in the middle of class, she would always say something funny about it. She is a real sweet lady. I recommend taking her for Biology.

she is a very nice old lady who can not hardly walk up the stairs...hint hint... her lectures are boring, but she gives out extra credit sometimes and a study guide. The study guide is lengthy. Not an easy A unless you want to study
I LOVE DR WILLARD!!!!!! She is the greatest professor EVER!!! Her class isn't completely easy, you still have to stucy but it is doable. She LOVES to curve. I only had to make a 17 on the final and she curves 25 points. She also loves to talk. Go sit in her office sometime, you will learn a lot.
She's really nice, and will help you out so much, but listening to her lecture does nothing. Her study guides are EXTREMELY broad and cover everything in the book. As soon as you get it, start working on gathering the info. The material is a lot of memory, lab helps a little, so just put the time in.
I think that she is a very nice old lady but I find it very hard to pay attention in her class since she tends to ramble on a lot. Just read the chapters in the book because they will help you more than her lectures!
How can you not love Dr. Willard? She is sweet and she gives a lot of extra credit. Plus the study guides are very nice. Basically, you will get an A if you study; if you don't study any, you will definitely get an F because its all memorization.
Dr.Willard is very nice, but also very boring. She will help you if you are failing. You are assigned ten papers each semester. They can be turned in late at the end of the year though. Its hard to pay attention in her class. Bring a laptop!

Dr. Willard is such a sweet lady. She's very understanding and will help you with whatever you need. Just talk to her and she will listen and help as much as she can. Definately take her!! Lab for Zoology is VERY hard though so do good in lecture!!
I thought I was going to love zoology, but in the end, I celebrated when I turned the final in. She is the sweetest lady ever, very willing to answer questions and what not, but sitting in her class feels like a wasted hour of my life. Extra credit for attendance is the only reason to come to class.
Good prof that knows what she's talking about. Gives you study guidelines for every test. The only thing is she is ridiculously hard to hear, but she has powerpoint slides that help a lot.
She is a very nice lady, but VERY hard to hear. Whatever you do, DON'T sit in the back if you plan on listening. The powerpoint notes come straight from the book, & she gives you a study guide (kind of vague though) for each test. Just study the study guides & you'll do fine. If you need help, just ask her. She's more than willing to help.

Had her for Zoology. Easy class, go to all classes for random extra credit just bring a laptop and play some games or do other homework. Offers extra credit: DO IT! Only 3 tests + lab grade. Extra credit is added to the test grade. She also gives a study guide, she takes about 50-60 questions from it for each test.
I had her for General Zoology. She gives extra credit for showing up, and 5 points before each test for typing up a page on news about animals. She's very old, so she speaks VERY quietly. Even with the sound system it's difficult to hear her. The tests come straight out of the book, so you can skip every class as long as you get her study guide.
1st off, I didn't need this specific class. However, Mrs. Willard is one of the easiest professors ever. You should go to class even if you sleep because sometimes she takes attendance extra credit grades. You only need the book when you're going over the study guide that she GIVES you, which makes her tests super easy. She's slso super helpful.
Take her because she is easy. It's ok if you go to sleep in class because I don't think she notices...maybe she does, but it doesn't matter. She takes attendance for extra credit and as long as you get the study guide and read the book to answer it...you can make an A.

She is pretty easy. Do all the extra credit and pay attention to the handouts she gives.
I made an A in this class. Go to class, but don't take notes cause its no use unless you follow along with the lecture in the book. Sometimes she passes out a roll sheet during the second part of the semester. She now just gives 2 internet assignments.. these count as much as a test and they help ur grade a lot. Look up the study guide in the book.
She is easy..but you dont learn much from her she reads straight from the book. Do the extra credit and make sure you do good in Lab and you will be fine
The class is pretty easy but you won't learn anything. She pretty much reads from the book and power point. Very little explanation involved. Do well in lab, pay attention to handouts and take advantage of extra credit. Sit close to the front to hear. Attendance can get you extra credit esp. before holidays.
Know the study guides that she gives out in depth. Old tests are extremely helpful if you can find them. You don't have to go to class, but she randomly gives extra credit so I would suggest going.

If you dont want to learn anything and get an A or B take this class. No need to go to class because you cant hear a thing. Professor Willard is a very nice and knowledgeable woman. However, it is very difficult to hear her during class, and her tests do not match how she teaches the class. They are hard! Lab was a joke as well.

Dr. Willard is very old but very nice and understanding. Lecture attendance is not necessary as no relevant information will be gained. GET OLD TESTS!
Dr. Willard is VERY boring. You don't have to go to any of the lectures. No extra credit is given for attendance and you can't hear ANYTHING she says. She is the only teacher that teaches this class so try to make the best of it. Her grading is fair and gives a curve.
She knows what she's teaching. But she is at the AGE she can no longer express it too her students. Wonderful lady. Get old tests for exams! Lab grade helps out A LOT!
Dr. Willard needs to retire. She is a super-sharp lady who knows what she's teaching, but as other raters have stated, she is unable to communicate it due to her advanced age. She is also unable to control her class. She does give a large curve and you will come out with a good grade, but you probably won't learn anything about the material.
Bless her heart. Her class was so easy. Don't bother showing up because you can't hear her no matter how close you sit. Tests are cake-- tons of extra credit for no reason. Lab is super easy, too.
Dr. Willard is an amazing woman. I learned so much about Biology from her. Awesome class.
