Not to bad. not much hmwk. cheat sheat exam 1 and exam 2 is take home
he explains things decently, but his tests are very hard. don't buy the book - go off the notes. and, i totally dig the sweater vests (aka bill cosby) hey hey hey!
I didn't even open the book. Listen and take his notes and you'll get a 4.0 like I did.
He is very boring. Don't buy the book, just read his powerpoint handouts and you'll be fine. I didn't pay attention much and got a 3.3. Tests are like 25 multiple choice problems and 5 mathmatical ones. There are two tests.
He is a bit of an airhead but very nice. He is willing to help you out if needed. Class is dull but not too difficult. Book is useless.
He is a good professor overall. I found that he made the class fairly interesting, considering that it may not be a very interesting subject.
One of the worst professors I've ever had. He didn't have control of the class and he was difficult to understand. Didn't answer questions well, either.
The class, my group, and the professor sucked which equated to the worst summer semester. The project was pointless and most of the teams made up stuff. His tests were difficult and b/c of the communication barrier in class, going to class was worthless
Classes are supposed to be both enjoyable and a good learning experience. Unfortunately, this professor can do neither of these for you.
The first day of class is the only time you will think you like the guy. He is not clear on his assignments. When asked a question he'll either a)say you should already know that b)laugh in your face. Exams are obscure! DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!
JERK!!!! Keeps you the entire time. Exams are insane! He doesn't care about students. "Says" he will curve. Inconsiderent loser!
He is the worst teacher I have ever had, he is unclear, unhelpful and is rude to students. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!!
If you consider yourself smart, then do yourself a favor and avoid this course at all costs. Hard to understand, never states what you need to know for the exams, and babbles about useless examples without ever emphasizing the main point.
This guy is not that bad. He is rather boring, but only 2 tests and few quizzes. There are other ways to earn points like homework and group stuff (which is always easy)
Will not provide the solutions to his homework, rather tells you to goto library for them. Then says similar questions are on the exam.
Horrible professor! I must have heard over 100 times that we were supposed to know things from pre-requisite classes. When the ENTIRE class explained that they did not remember the material, he shrugged and went on. He doesn't make sense even when you understand his poor english.
He is a tough professor, but the key is to go to EVERY SINGLE CLASS and pay attention to ENTIRE TIME AND TAKE NOTES. Do that and go over the quantiative problems that he gives you and you should do just fine!
This professor does not know how to teach! He assumes that you remember all the classes you took in undergrad and does not take time to review or explain how to do problems. If you learn by reading only than you may do well in this class. This is a very work intensive class! He does not curve.
Uses a microphone when he lectures. Kind of unique. Keeps you awake.
Worst prof. I have ever had. He will not help you. So when time for exams, your pretty much on your own. Exam review consists of going through all powerpoints in 15 min. He also refuses to do example problems. Avoid this guy at all cost. Taking POM with this guy is a waste of time and money.
He is extremely difficult to deal with, he doesn't react to criticism at all, he changes the syllabus, and he seems unwilling to help.
Bring a pillow. Class lasts til' the very end or more. Instructor not very clear. I never opened the book and still got a 3.4. 2 essay tests - very long - related to his slides.
Although his pronounciation of some words might throw you off, his grammar is very impressive. You might think he is difficult because the subject he is lecturing on is not interesting in itself. He is very knowledgeable and his experience in different cultures can be valuable to students who conduct themselves in a professional and mature manner.
Very challenging class. Had a lot of work and is meticulous in grading. Class is very involved but you do get things out of it. be prepared to work - Harvard readings, PPT slides, 2 tests, final group paper and presentation. Overall challenging class but would recommend it. (Don't worry about your grades - final grade was a lot better than exp
I took this class in the summer semester. I think that the prof. was very helpful and informative. Because it was a short semester, we had homeowrk, quizzes, and exams basically ever class. They were not that difficult. If you read over the slides that he provided and did calculations, you will do good
Hard to understand due to his accent and just not an easy class.

I am alumni. I took this class with some complete ass and then took it with Aigbedo. Whether or not you learn anything, its a lot easier than with the other guy. Aigbedo is a good professor. I dont remember anything I learned in college and I frankly dont care.
Prof. Aigbedo is a good guy, but likes to twist his questions, so that you might think you awnsered the question right, when in fact you didn't. If u study and work hard u will make it. The material isn't really the most interesting.
Arogant, egotisctial and not willing to help. He is critcal of his students but will not accept critisism in return. He turns students away during his office hours. He is very bright but can not convey his knowledge. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!
The worst professor at OU. He's not open to questions and his exams are impossible even if you study. DO NOT TAKE AIGBEDO!
wow so boring. it was an easy class but i fell asleep every day. not very hands on at all, just pure lectures. dont take him
He's not the best explainer when you have a question but he makes an effort to help students understand his lecture. If you like business, you'll find this class interesting.
Unneccessarily hard. Watch out for the math on his test, this is a rally hard section that is worth approx 60% of the test grade and incorp Calc 3 and Stats 1 & 2 concepts. Very tough grader. I can't be any more clear in not reccomending this guy. By far the hardest teacher that I've come across. Plus he's very boring!!
Don't listen to all the bad postings for this guy on this website. You have to attend the classes his lectures are key to passing, reading the chapters is a must, If u want a good grade u have to put in effort and in a class like this one you should go into it knowing its not gonna be easy so keep up and do your fair end of the work.
Definately take this course in the Spring or Summer. He cut out alot of material & you really want to get down with this class fast. He offers alot of opportunities for points; in class group assignments, attendance, homework & quizzes. A little hard to follow where he is in the book during lectures, but a pretty fair teacher.
A prime example of those horror stories you hear about a prof who's super hard, out of touch, and has a thick accent. I hated this class because he made an already boring subject even more unbearable. Brutal grader. Boring. Unrelatable.
Extremely useless class with this professor. Don't learn much from him. Does not give straight answers. Extremely hard grader and stuck in unneccessary rules. It seemed that he is bent on not giving people good grades. Even failed some.
I passed this class with a 3.2, and here's why: STUDY at least 6 hours for your exams, don't skip class EVER, do all of the hw and read the book. Exams are 3 parts: multiple choice, essay, math problems. Study all 3 from his very helpful exam guide.
class is a nightmare. Exams are close to impossible. He is a hard grader and has a very annoying voice. i studied a lot and got a 2.5. One of those classes that you cant BS through. if you dont study hard for this class, you wont pass.
one of the worst classes ive ever taken. The guy teaches like everyone is an expert in the subject and should already know what he is talking about. Keeps you til 10 every class. exams are 20+ pages and the group paper/presentation is a nightmare. He is a hard grader too. Avoid at all costs!!!
This professor takes pride in failing students. He IS out to get you. Feels "American Students" are lazy. He takes pride in failing as many people as possible. This professor should not be teaching.
His train of thought is just impossible to follow, because everything is clear to him, he thinks its clear to you. Exams have a heavy critical thinking component, so if that is not your area, don't take him. His project also sucks. Try to take it with someone else, if you can't his class is passable just hard and will require a lot of work.
The key to passing the class is simple: go to class, actually pay attention, write down examples that he gives you, do the homework, & read the chapters for extra help. He's really not that bad but he does expect a lot from you. The class should be a lot more simpler than it is. Overall, not that bad.
Possibly one of the WORST teachers I have ever had. He is rude and does NOT care whether you pass or not. Spends the first day trying to defend his country. Studied over 10 hours for each exam and still didn't pass them. It's impossible to get full points on anything in his class, no matter how much you you think you got the answer. DONT TAKE HIM.
This class is hard, there is no getting around it. Professor Aibgedo is very defensive but he is always there to help if needed. I studied my butt off and I hope to get a 3.0 at best. You WILL fail exams unless you study his examples, powerpoints and read every chapter. Put effort into the class and you should pass; be lazy and you'll fail.
This has to be the worst prof ever. He is not helpful and any question is a threat to this guy. Do not take!! Honestly, this guy should get out of teaching because he seems like he hates students.
Worst professor I ever had. The prior comment said that he should be teaching master level courses. Honestly, this guy shouldnt be teaching at all!! This guy sucked...enough said!
Worst professor at OU so far. Had him for Operations Management. He treats us as if we are high school kids. If we're going to be out of town for work, he wants a NOTE from our BOSS. I let him know a week in advance that I was going to be late one day, he said that it should never happen again, that I won't learn anything. Avoid at all costs.
Worst professor I have ever had. He has an inferiority complex and loves to make the students feel dumb. Has a tenuous grasp on the material and can not explain past what it says in the book. I don't think he has any real world experience to speak of other than the fact it took him 11 years to get his PHD in Japan.
I would avoid him if you can. He doesn't go over problems he expects you to be an expert on during tests. His reviews for tests are useless as well. I asked him to meet me for help, and he wanted to only talk on the phone. I'd look for a different teacher.
Henry is an awesome teacher. Every class he goes over powerpoints and keeps class interesting by keeping everyone laughing. All you gotta do is go to class and take his 2 exams and its an easy 3.5. Exams have some simple math problems, and the rest of the material on the exam is directly off the powerpoints. Take Henry if you have a chance!!!
Doesn't explain things clearly. Doesn't explain example problems clearly. Does example problems that he doesn't even know how to do. Reads off PPTs and doesn't do anything to solidify info. Tests are worded in a confusing way. Avoid if possible. 2 exams, 2 quizzes, a group project, some assignments. Group project is meaningless to content in class.
It is clear that this professor neither cares about his students nor teaching. Does not know this subject well enough to teach it properly and can't even word questions properly on tests so you know exactly what the question is asking. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
HORRIBLE!! Don't take 343 with him. Look at the grade distributions on OU website. Avoid at all costs. AVOID!! I went to every class, studied, did every assignment, and ended with a 2.0. Tests are extremely hard, hardest at OU. AVOID
I've only had this professor for a couple weeks and I already had enough of him. He loves case studies and his quizzestests are worded in a confusing matter. Also, no matter the circumstance e.g. career fair, emergency, sick, etc., the only way he will excuse you is if you have a documented excuse. DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY.
This is honestly the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire history as a student. I can not believe this guy has a job. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. I received a decent grade, but at what cost? You don't want to know. This guy is a waste of time, has no sense of reality, and is just a poor poor poor teacher.
Worst professor I have had! I have a heavy interest in the topic but he will grade you as far down as he can. He is an engineering professor in the wrong department. You can walk out of a test feeling like you got 100% but he will find everything wrong with it. Check the grading distribution if you think anyone is kidding. Don't do it!
AWFUL. Do not take him, he has no clue what he is talking about. He has been out of the supply chain for far to long to be teaching. He cannot explain anything. He is clueless about the topic. He studied it in Japan but that was a long time ago and is no longer relevant. OU should be disgraced to have his as a professor. I did not learn a thing!!!!
He was the worst professor I have ever had at Oakland. Do not take him! The test averages were around 68% and he does not curve. Many people failed this course. I took it again with Prof. Bayat, and got a 3.2.
He is very strict but up front about the subject. If you can take the class in the Summer, I'd recommend it. No group project in the summer and the class is long, so it's nice to be done quickly. He does use almost every minute of class time and stares you down while talking (odd). He tough grading, but it's not a hard course. Just always show
WORST TEACHER EVER! First off, prepare to stay the entire class length every class. Secondly, he thinks he knows everything when he doesn't. He grades tough and makes you feel dumb during class with his comments. Very strict and unhelpful. He says he's strict for own our good, what kind of a teacher says that? No mercy from him. RUN AWAY NOW.......
He's never worked in operations itself, disagrees with real-world experiences, lectures for full period, grading is very subjective, hard to work with, doesn't care about students, egotistical, attendance for grade (3 skips auto fail), book is useless, in-class assignments/attendance sheets passed out at end of class, do not take with him at all.
He would tell us one thing, then the next class say that he never said it. Even though all of us told him otherwise, he could NEVER be wrong! His teaching sucks, doesn't explain how to do stuff. Exams are REALLY long. He got offended when you questioned him. He rushed through lectures and problems. He's very conceited. PS I got a 3.5.
Took Hank for Operations Strategy as well as Supply Chain. Both classes ran the same way. Case study(20 page cases) every other week, some were group some were individual. Quizzes once every 3 weeks. 2 exams and a final exam to finish it off. End of the day, you are going to put in a lot of work for him but if you do so, his class is an easy 3.0+.
Do not take this professor. One, you can't understand him when he speaks, he is from Nigeria. Grades based on a couple exams. You have to show up to class, 3 skips and you fail. Going to class doesn't help anything with this guy. He is pretty hardcore. Doesn't grade on a scale, even though the average on the exams were around a 68%. There's more...
He is a very tough grader and his quizzes and exams are very hard and have terrible averages. I went to his office hours to talk about my concerns and was basically just told off and he was no help to me. Never answered my direct questions and was incredibly unorganized and messy. Talks to the last second of class Never has let us out a min. early
Be prepared to actually work in this class. You can't just show up and expect to pass. If you miss 3 classes, you fail. He keeps you the entire class but if you're confused or ask questions, he'll slow down the pace of the class. Quizzes and exams are difficult and you have to actually read the book. But if you put in the work, you will be fine.
He's a good guy, but exams are tough.
I really liked this professor. You could tell that he genuinely cared about his students and wanted everyone to be successful in the class and in their future careers. However, I would definitely recommend practicing the problems and studying the notes because this class is not easy. But if you put in the time and effort you'll be okay.
I thought Professor Aigbedo was a great professor. His lectures were passionate and he was a fair grader. There were real world examples of companies and how they performed, which kept the lectures interesting. He gave fair tests that if you studied hard, you would get the grade that you deserved and feel confident. It was a pleasure to have him.
I really enjoyed taking classes with Aigbedo. He posts his power points on moodle, so I'd recommend printing them out and taking notes on them instead of writing everything. Tests are difficult and often have some tricky questions so make sure you study and take advantage of the cheat sheets. Not a difficult prof but makes you work for your grade.
Really enjoyed Operations with Aigbedo, he is very intelligent and knows what he's talking about, so if you're going into operations you will really value his knowledge. The class is tough and takes a lot of time to study and understand everything. If you aren't majoring in OM this might not be the most enjoyable/easy class, but you will learn.
Worst operations Professor: -Book is useless, teaches things that aren't covered in chapters. Tryto take REALLY good notes -lectures would be great if you could understand what he is saying. He has a African accent that's hard to understand. -makes exam/quiz questions VERY WORDY, easy to get confused -very pompous, likes things to be done HIS way
If you are someone who likes to know how you're doing in a class, then Aigbedo is not for you. He doesn't post grades to moodle and he only shows you your grades once or twice in class so you have no way of knowing how you're doing. He doesn't show you your final exam grade at all. Miss more than five classes and you automatically fail.
I liked how passionate he was about he material and tried to make sure everyone understood it. This class requires a lot of time. I highly recommend reading the book and taking good notes during lectures. His quizzes and exams you need to study a lot for. I wish he would post grades more often because it is hard to know where you stand in class.
Professor Aigbedo is really passionate about what he teaches. He can make the class entertaining with his interaction with students, too. If you show up to class and actually pay attention you will do well. I left the class at the end of the semester with a good understanding of operations management. He is a tough grader, and the exams are tough.
Makes class unnecessarily lengthy and challenging for a core business course. Really tough grader on exams and hw, also never posts grades. Does give cheat sheets for midterm/final, but still some M/C q's that were never covered in class or text. Teaches up until last minute of class every week for night section. Allows 2 skips before auto fail
He's a knowledgeable man, but his class is "survival of the fittest". It's the hardest class I have taken at OU. If you're taking multiple classes, don't take him, very hard to pass. If you take 1-2 classes, you can pass. Exams/quizzes are very hard. Explained lectures simply, makes tests x 100 harder than explained. OM majors struggled as well.
Aigbedo is great. A lot of reviews Ive read are people complaining about it being difficult. It is a tough class. Hes a tough grader for sure. With that said, if you go to class and pay attention during the lectures & take good notes you will do fine. I wish more professors were like Aigbedo, he knows his stuff. Great professor. Would take again.
Professor Aigbedo's class was by far the hardest class i've taken at OU. He teaches an entry level OM class as if it is a graduate level course. He keeps you up until the very last minute of class and gives no breaks for 3+ hour classes. Tests and quizzes were incredibly hard, his grading was very tough as well. Final grade is made up of 2 tests.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Avoid at all costs but he's the only professor for this course so just prepare for the WORST. Teaches every class as if it is a graduate level course. Each test is more than 20 pages thick. Takes up every minute of the class period, sometimes even teaching past the allotted time. Group work throughout the entire semester with assigned groups.
WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM! Especially now that classes are hybrid and online it is AWFUL. No feedback on assignments. Multiple hour+ long lectures a week. Tests and quizzes are extremely hard and he writes them all himself. No extra credit. Has a rude attitude and makes students feel inferior to him. Doesn't care about students at all! TERRIBLE!
He is not clear on grading criteria at all. Tons of busy work for no reason and explains to the class multiple times that a lot of you will not pass.
Aigbedo does not have real experience despite his claims. His syllabus can be unclear causing confusion, which he then blames you for. He is not good at all using the computer and posting things in Moodle. He also waits to post things at the last minute, giving you little time to review. Overall I think he out of touch, and should not be teaching.
In his opening Zoom lecture, he complained for a while about his rate my professor rating debating it to a silent class, HUGE red flag. Instantly came here to see it and it was exactly what I expected. As a graduating Senior, I have seen enough good and bad professors to tell you everything written here is 100% true.
Professor Aigbedo has to be one of the worst Professors I've had at OU and I'm a 4th year student. His answer to everything is "Its in the syllabus" Which is outdated and has many missing items. Basically expects you to be a statistics major to do the work since he briefly explains the math problems. Has an excuse for everything. Doesn't teach well
I've had tough profs, but always felt like they still had your best interests in mind. I honestly feel like Aigbedo does not. He's rude, all about himself, spends more time defending his poor methods than he does teaching. Complains daily that the class is behind, thus wasting more time. He wants to fail you just to prove to you how "smart" he is.
This class seemed more difficult than it ended up being. If you listen to what he says in class you can get by in this course. The final project takes some time to complete, so if you start earlier it will be better. There are often assignments with your group, but they are normally not difficult. Overall, the class was not all too bad.
The class is very lecture heavy and you are there the entire time. For tests - he was a very easy grader. He was flexible when it came to work events and health issues that I had and couldn't be in class. Even allowed me to schedule time separately to take final. He was responsive to emails. I'm not sure why he is considered a hard professor.
He is a great teacher, ignore the bad reviews, Do the reading and study the math problems done in class. He is a fantastic lecturer with a lot of industry knowledge. Like I said do the HW, Read the text, study the math problems and you will do just fine.
He is a really good professor as far as lectures go. He really keeps you enthralled with the topic you are talking about by being really energetic. As far as that goes he grades really hard, does not Cleary explain directions, does not return quizzes back to you, takes very long to respond to emails.
This professor was all over the place with this class. Be ready to read everything in the book and the syllabus twice.
He is a pretty solid lecturer but his assignments are very much all over the place with not a lot of direction or consistency. Simulations are fairly easy but all his problems are written and handed in person which is a bit outdated. If you study the class problems and terms from his slides this class is definitely passable.
Professor explains the written material very well lectures are engaging and helps understand all concepts. The math part of this class is the issue you are expected to know advanced topics and he doesnt really explain it in much detail. Math part of the tests is the highest and theres no curve. If the math wasnt such a big part would be great class
horrible experience with professor aigebedo. his lectures have nothing to do with his exams, but be prepared to attend lectures because they're mandatory and learn all the material outside of class. Would not recommend taking him. If you're a sophomore and haven't declared your major, take this class at wayne state.
He has a thick accent thats hard to understand. Tests are 58% of your grade and he bases them off his incredibly confusing lectures. He is very over the top and extra in terms of rules. He does not help you as much as he makes it seem like we will. He is incredibly repititve and that only makes things more confusing.
Henry is a nice and caring prof that will help you when you need it but the class is a difficult class. You need to show up, take notes and prepare for exams. He gives out reviews for exams that are very similar to the exams. He lets you have a cheat sheets on the exams as well which is nice. If you try in this class and ask questions youll be good
If you want a professor that cares, this is the one. His grading can be tough, but as long as you follow the guidelines in the syllabus you're set. Pay attention in lectures, but mostly pay attention on review day. Exams focus on what is covered on review day. Very group project heavy. You work with your group on almost everything. Take this class.
Overall the class was good. Make sure to read the book and you will be fine
Aigbedo's lectures are very long and don't relate exactly to the textbook, so get ready to read too. When students answered wrong he would laugh, very thick accent, tough grader, and very theatrical. Many students left class early because of how he teaches. If you have to take it with him, do the summer course so you're done quicker.
Terrible professor. Makes you take chapter quizzes, individual homework assignments, group cases, gives you a midterm and a final exam. I get this is a capstone class, but he sets you up to fail. He reads off the lecture slides, he never goes over the term project or the homework assignments so you have to figure it out all on your own.
Bro lectures till the last second
Professor Aigbedo's lectures can be hit-or-miss, but the material is manageable if you stay engaged and supplement your studying with resources like the textbook and unstuck ai. The math content can be challenging, so be prepared to put in the work.
Attendance was not mandatory but de facto was due to his lectures being critical for tests. He laughs at students who participate and offer an incorrect answer. His test questions are usually: is option 1 correct, 2 correct, both correct, or none correct. Read the textbook beforehand to help. Harsh grader of group work. Prides himself on difficulty
Lectures are impossible to follow. Doesn't use the moodle announcements function. Have to check a documents daily for updates. Shouted at a student, for several minutes, for requesting a few hours extension on a homework assignment missed because of the aforementioned refusal to use the announcements function. He refuses to reword explanations.
RUN!! I was thinking the same thing I'll just take him to get the class over with. I put in hours of studying to understand and still failed. I'm not a C student either but his quiz was so bad and he makes them so it makes it hard to understand. His exam are the scariest things. He gives you 30 different math problems just for 5 to be on the exam.
Good professor overall. Exams were challenging but fair, if you show up to the lectures you will have no problem with the homework or on the exams.
Awful class avoid at all costs. Professor doesn't teach, leaves the math for the last 10 minutes of class and never finishes. Doesn't put grades in till the last day they are due of the semester. Prides himself on his class being tough, not because of the material, the major problem is the lack of teaching
