Don't miss class. He is a very easy teacher if everyone keeps going to class and doesn't give him a hard time.
very nice, dont miss class, class points are very important
He is a real nice guy. A good professor. I would take another class with him in a minute. It wasn't an easy class make sure you know something about computers before you take this class.
Good Professor. Make sure you submit your assignments ON TIME! Assignments usually consisted of short answer questions and he graded them with a "real-world" mind-set, not only what the text book stated. Good course.
I took an online course with him. He made it really simple to follow and his notes were great. Really nice guy and always very helpful.

Highly recommended.
The professor is great. I took this class online from iraq and ran into trouble when it came to deadlines. The guy helped me out to the max and thus build my html fundamentals real strong. I got an A in the class and got to learn and carry out my missions overseas. I Highly recomend him.
I dont really like thsi teacher. He gave us a COMPLETELY USELESS presentaion to do. Most people's presentation sucked including my groups, but we still got a good grade on it. I got a B. The class was pretty easy overall though. His jokes suck!!!!
great class online
He was the worst if you liked web site design before this you will not after you take it with him
Class is pretty straight forward. He's an easy grader. Gets a bit boring, but nice old guy.
A great professor who really knows his stuff. Very helpful. He's very easy going and has a good sense of humor, which keeps the class interesting and takes the pressure off. Knows way more than what's in the text. He's one of the best professors I've had classes with at Farmingdale.
Took it online. Great feedback for each lesson. Timely responses to questions. Management of the course was terrific. Much better course than other online courses I have taken. I highly recommend this prof.
Much better than other professors I have taken at Farmingdale. Acutally wants you to do well. Very helpful prof.
Very helpful. I didn't know that much coming into the course but he was very good at explaining things. Sends evaluaitons back right away. Doesn't like it if you send in work late, so stay on top of things. Otherwise, great professor.
Excellent. Way better than other online classes I have taken.
Took his HTML class..great guy. Makes it fun and interesting, and a very fair grader. Taking another class with him soon and looking forward to it.
just took my second course with him, this time online. great professor.
His class was amazing! I learned so much! You have to take him, he's the best. Great communication. Made class a lot of fun. Very down to earth
One of the best professors I ever had. Extremely helpful, explains everything clearly and is very easy to understand. Gives easy HW but does not accept late work. Very funny, sometimes in a VERY weird way. Doesn't give and tests or finals. Try to get him as much as you can, easy A!
Professor Bojack is one of THE BEST professors I have ever had! He wants you to well and will help all he can. He explains everything cleary and if a very fair grader. If you put in the work on the assignments, you'll do extremely well. I actually learned a lot because he made the class interesting and fun. I highly recommend Prof. Bojack!!
THE BEST professor Farmingdale has to offer! He loves his students, loves his work and it clearly shows!
Prof Bojack is amazing. I took this class online and it was great. The only reason I received a B was because I missed 3 homeworks. The instructions were right in the textbook and extremely clear. Professor Bojack was there when needed, and willing to work with the students. I recommend him to EVERYONE taking this course, or the BCS 102 course.
It was an absolute pleasure to be in his class. Actually wants you to do well, which is quite a refreshing change from other professors Ive taken. Good sense of humor. Knowledge of subject matter is tops. A "must take" course if it's with him. Overall, a great person to have as a professor. Really nice guy.
This man was the best teacher I have ever had. I never posted a comment on this site before but I felt the need to let everyone know how good this guy is.
This professor is awesome. However if you are having trouble in this class then talk to him. Don't copy other students work because that will get him angry and he'll make the course difficult for the whole class. So do you own work and if you need help just ask he's very helpful and very nice professor.
Great professor. Can't find better than him.
Had this class online he was very good alot of work considering many other friends took the same class in class and didnt have to do as much work but the work is just time consuming not hard at all
I'm a senior, and this was one of the best courses I've ever taken here. His knowledge of the subject is tops. Great personality and very good sense of humor so he keeps things interesting in that way. He's very fair, reviews a lot and makes the material easy to understand. Definitely a great prof to take a course with
Good prof. His humor gets a little annoying sometimes and he makes a big deal about people being late.
Great professor! Took his class online and it was just wonderful. He tells you exactly what needs to be done and when, and the textbook is very helpful (used always). Do the assignments and you'll be fine. I highly recommend!
Way too much work for an online class. Assignments are boring and tedious. Very time consuming. Pretty much just do things right out of the textbook. Professor gives too many assignments and only gives a few days to complete them all.
Exceedingly long, hair-pulling assignments that somehow require problem-solving skills even though his book shows everything to write. Set aside several hours for each assignment, especially case problems. Easy to get a high grade, but always time-consuming and meticulous. No final or midterm.
Ok, the class itself isnt difficult, but his exams are very HARD. You will have to pay good attention in class and make sure you are on time, he HATES latenessess AND anbsences, unless he tells you otherwise. You have to read the book thoughroughly to do well on the tests, but the class assignments are easy. Also, he doesnt accept late work.
Very hard not to get an A in this class. Instructions are step by step and right out of the book. If you have a question, just ask. He's on line far more than other professors and he gets back to you right away with what you need to know. Just submit quality work on time and you should get an A with no sweat. Very good online course and prof.
Took this course at the last minute as an elective so I didn't know what to expect. He's very enthusiastic about the course and I did like this course. He has a review class before each exam so if you take notes you should do fine on those. Uses the book a lot, but it is inexpensive and clearly written. He explains things well. Great teacher.
I took this as a summer course. Even though classes were 2 hrs he kept things interesting so the time spent in each class went by very quickly. Tests are pretty easy and mostly are on vocabulary and main chapter topics. One of the best professors I've taken a class with here at FSC. Wish there were more like him.
Really easy class. I took this in the summer session that's a month long so it was a lot of work in a short amount of time but it was so worth it. Assignments are easy and there's no reason why everyone shouldn't get an A. He's also very accessible on angel if you have any problems. Take his class!
He is a very easy grader. Just study the material and you will not have a problem passing.
Professor Bojack is a highly talented individual with a lot of insightful knowledge. His lectures are to the point and he uses videos that correlate to the material. Summer session included 4 exams and a 2-man project and presentation. Very manageable for a shortened semester.
Follow the text and it's an easy A. There really is no reason for him to give much feedback unless you are making a lot of mistakes, which would be hard because the text is fool-proof.
Very easy class, but this guy is just obnoxious. Honestly he's really annoying and constantly making bad jokes. Not a bad professor per se, but one that you won't want to see again.
Follow the textbook and it is hard not to get an A in this class. It is pretty black and white..
Good professor, but he doesn't upload his Powerpoint slides so you basically have to take great notes, or screenshot as he goes through them. The exams are based not only on the textbook information but a lot has to do with the minor and little things he mentions during class. Very specific exam questions overall.
As long as you do the assignments, this class is an easy A. But be sure to hand them in on time because he does NOT except late assignments. The assignments were generally very easy, just time consuming. I'm glad I chose this professor, along with choosing to take this class on line.
This is my second class that I've had with Professor Bojack, and I loved every minute. He has a quirkiness about him, but it's easy to deal with. He teaches very well, there are a lot of powerpoint slides that he goes over in class, so it can be a little boring. He wants his students to do well. Oh, and there's no final project.
The guy assigns work Monday - Thursday for an online summer class. He doesn't put the work up until later in the week, so it's not like you can get a head start. The work is just very time consuming and pointless. He also doesn't accept late work. Don't take for an online summer class. Had to do work on vacation :(
Seems like a good course so far. I am learning a great deal about Office apps that I didn't know about. I think a knowledge of Office apps will help me after I graduate next semester. I took the course because I heard lots of good things about this prof and I have found him to be very helpful and available. Gives good feedback and right away too.
I always worry about online courses during the summer sessions, but this professor was fantastic. There were a lot of assignments, but he gives access to them a few days early so you can get a head start, and he is a generous grader. Just follow the directions for each assignment and you'll be fine.
I took BCS 102 online in the summer. Material was given far in advance so there is ample time to work on assignments, however they are LONG and time consuming. He was always there to answer questions via email, however! Don't buy the new hard cover book, get an e-text somewhere because it's easier and saves tons of money. I recommend this class!
Took BCS130 online and it was a great choice. The homework and exams are all based out of the textbook, so you 100% need to purchase / rent it. Overall, I learned lots of new things about HTML and CSS that I previously did not know. Grades assignments shortly after they are due which is helpful. Very strict about deadlines though - no late work.
Fine professor but if your more than 10 minutes late you may as well not even show up
I've taken several courses with this professor and this was the best course yet. Good mix of lecture and lab. Only programming prof who truly cares you do well. Good sense of humor keeps things interesting. Reviews before each exam. Easy course if just come to class and pay attention. I will certainly miss this professor. Best prof ever.
Easy class. It taught me a lot about Word, PowerPoint and Excel that I never knew before, and how powerful they really can be for someone's education. I also learned a lot of new knowledge about computer systems in this course. The projects are done through Cengage, which is expensive to buy, but it's worth it.
I took this as a winter class, so it was 2 1/5 weeks and a lot of assignments (which is to be expected when cramming a whole semester into a short time). I wouldn't recommend for winter if u are working full time, its a lot. Assignments are not hard but very long and tedious. You get 3 attempts for assignments and 1 for exams. Overall I recommend.
The easiest class I have every taken in college yet! Take him and take this class! You wont regret. Once you get a hang of the assignments you are set for the semester.
I enjoyed his class. Dude is really funny and have the perfect amount of humor. But he does not stand lateness at all. So be on time. He uses the textbook, but he really does not prefer it. When I took the class he dropped our finals so I was really happy. I will definitely take his classes again.
Hes a great professor tests are crazy long though 60+ questions also make sure your programs runs if it doesnt he will give you a zero.
A very easy going guy. This class is not hard unless you have not programmed before. The workload is light, he provides labs that are usually due a day after it was assigned. Do not worry, he reviews after almost every lesson. He is hilarious and knows a lot about pop music. Just read the textbook to get a headstart before each new chapter.
Amazing professor. He's really caring and wants you to understand. He really makes the topic easy. He does not accept late work though and your labs have to run for you to even recieve a grade. Easy class pretty much just do your work and study. His tests are also pretty easy I would say.
Very nice guy. He has great banter with his students. You can tell he cares about his students success. Workload/pace of the class was as expected. Definitely get the textbook and read before class and you will have no issues. Honestly, this is the only professor that impressed me this semester.
Took the course online durring the pandemic and he REFUSED to post the PowerPoints even when I begged him. Little typo mistakes in the code results in a 50 or even a zero. He thinks his class is so easy and blames the student for every point lost. Has zero understanding that some people have home situations that make learning more difficult.
Great professor, made the course clear and fair.
This is the easiest class in the world and he's an awesome professor. If you can take him online, do it. Every assignment is online on SIM net and the grading criteria is so clear. He sends reminder with due dates weekly and the syllabus schedule is followed exactly. If you get anything less than an A in this class, I'd actually be concerned.
Definitely a humorous guy. Taught well during class, with examples. Graded on 4 tests and weekly labs. Tips: try to memorize the functions and what they do (it WILL help), engage during class bc it will help you learn in a way as well, and try to make a gc with classmates to help each other out when needed.
He is one of my favorite professors. . Sure learned a lot from this class. You will have labs but dont stress about that and test was on the computer multiple choice. Loved this classed and learned a lot about python. No regrets if you take this class. Just pay attention and you will pass. Hes also funny
This man is hilarious. He loves cracking jokes during lessons and interacting with his students. Gives a chapter review before each exam. If you read the textbook and pay attention this class should be easy for you.
Professor Bojack is a caring professor and wants his students to do well. Makes jokes every now and then. His material is based on the textbook and the slides shown in class. Most of the class time is the slides and if it ends early he'll make you do a lab about the slides. If you pay attention and do your work, you will get at least a B.
Pretty straight forward class and if anything is confusing professor Bojack will explain it. He allowed for extended time on assignments and was easy to contact. Enjoyed this class. You need the textbook to complete the assignments but it is easy to follow.
Very chill and laidback professor. Awesome guy. He would crack jokes a lot and compliment students who got answers right in class. If you follow the textbook and do all the assignments, you'll pass with flying colors. Attendance was mandatory and he cares about punctuality. Don't take him if you can't show up to class on time. Otherwise, great guy.
Not flexible at all. I had a lot of technical issues with SIMnet and sometimes SIMnet wouldn't save the content of progress I made with my assignments. Which led to incomplete assignments when I clearly did them. It's just frustrating having a professor who is completely strict on the due date.
My boyfriend and I just completed this course. No problems with either this course or the software which we found very easy to use. We both got an A. Two or three assignments are due each week but you have several weeks to complete each assignment group so that's okay. Prof. B is always there to help. Great prof overall. Take this course with him.
Try to make his class your first computer programming language class and not your second one. Python is a good starter language but don't take it the same time as a Java class.
This was my first semester in college and I expected professor Bojack to be a good teacher based on the high ratings I previously saw. Upon being in his class he had no rubric system for grading and gave very strict and unfair scores especially if you did the work correctly. He speeds through lectures, and there is very little coding practice.
Does a great job at making things understandable. There is a lot going on in this course but if you keep up and pay attention in class you will do well. Doesn't like it if you are late so keep that in mind. Has a pleasant disposition and good sense of humor. Very smart and very good professor. Would definitely take another course with him again.
You are taught by simnet program(finicky at times) thru brightspace and prof is just there if you have questions. There is two assignments due every week, but an easy A if you do the work. Make sure to email Prof BEFORE the night before a deadline if you are having trouble with something or you will be out of luck if you wait until the last minute!
Don't take a class with him. I beg you.
My boyfriend and I are about to graduate and we took two classes with him. He is a smart, kind, and caring professor. Very fair and explains things well. His classes fill up instantly for a reason. You should beg to be in his classes.  Try to get on the class wait list.  Well worth the wait.
He didn't post the lectures for about half the semester until people begged him to, he posted like 2 of them then stopped doing it again. He gave us like no time for homework, and didn't allow us to collaborate or get tutors or anything besides reading a very unhelpful textbook that he doesn't even follow for the curriculum. Just don't take him.
This course is not all that difficult if you just attend class and pay attention. He is a very smart and kind person, and I enjoyed taking this course with him. He's far better than any of the other professors I took courses with at the college I transferred from. Those professors could learn a lot about how to teach from him.
lecture heavy and the professor has no understanding that stuff happens, and people wont always be able to attend. If your absent you got a automatic F on any assignments done that day whether its labs or homework. He also has boring presentations heavy lectures but wont post the lectures like students aren't paying for the course. Do not take
This guy was a great professor, a super fun class where he was always cracking jokes and making learning java a good experience. Attendance is extremely important so make sure you're aware of that as he takes attendance daily. I would take a class with him again if I could and highly recommend you to do so. Tests always have extra credit are fair.
Useful and easy online course. The course is well organized, and the due dates are clear. If you do every assignment on time, it's hard not to get an A. If you don't understand something, send him an email. He is quick to reply. Due dates are flexible, so if you need more time because stuff happens, it's still okay. Very good professor.
Took this course over the winter session. Course is very well laid out. If you stay on track with the schedule he provides, you'll do just fine. Opens the course a week early, so take advantage of that because this is a very short course. He's on line a lot, so if you have questions, he is there to answer them. Good course.
The projects kill you. Although he gives work that is available to you, a glitch in the calendar messes up your progress. Not only that but he's not as understanding as you'd think.
i had a problem with a couple of the assignments because the system that he uses for homework glitched. he didn't really provide me with a solution so i ended up with a bad grade for those assignments. he's not really accessible through email. the class wasn't difficult, just a lot of work.
He cares ALOT about his students success. On the 2nd day, stressed the importance of being in the class on time. (yelled at the entire class essentially) But honestly every class always was positive, funny and willing to explain all concepts thoroughly. Did not rush through the material. MCQ exams up the wazoo. I absolutely love his teaching style.
He assigns homework on one day for example a Tuesday which is programming but expects it done in less than 12 hours so the next wednesday
Certainly one of the best professors here at FSC. Always well prepared. He doesn't fake it like some other profs. He writes all the lab assignments himself and they are extremely clear. He gives 3-5 days to submit a lab, which is more than enough time. Very fair grader. Study for exams and you'll get an A. Wish there were more profs like him.
