He's great!

This is one of those classes where you Need the book! His English isn't very good so if you ask questions (especially in lab) he is not helpful, but he at least tries. Most of the tests got curved. The book was used on most tests and quizzes, without a book you have no chance in passing.

He is great professor. Very helpful wants to see his students succeed. I would highly recommend him.

Professor Zhao explains the concpets at his best efforts. Although there are lecture notes, paired with the constant powerpoints, the textbook should be a priority when taking this class. If you want to learn chemistry than dedication to reading the book is essential. Henry Zhao is a decent professor and a nice guy who cares about the student.

His catch-phase: "Don't worry." By the end of the year it makes SOO much sense. I initially thought I wasnt going to do well, but I ended up with an A for the course. Mr. Zhao grades the student on their whole demeanor. If you put in the effort with hw, questions, participation, tests,etc., he will see that you are a good student and grade on that.

Chemistry is a hard subject period. Zhao teaches it to the best of his ability and will grade primarily based on participation and attendance. He's very understanding but his jokes can come off the wrong way sometimes. Show up. Participate. And be nice to him. You'll pass!

Professor zhao is a good chemistry teacher ! He teaches everything you need to know to prepare you for the tests. I took his class in the Richmond campus of Wcjc spring 2018 semester and passed with a B. There will be a lot of homework but it benefits you and your grade a lot ! If you do your work you will pass!

i took the lecture and the lab and it wasn't bad. he grades on attitude and how hard you work. he can tell who slacks off and who doesn't. work hard and you'll end up fine. the homework is just like the tests so do the homework and work all of the problems or you won't pass a test. Don't worry though, work hard and you'll get through it no problem.

Professor Zhao is amazing, He is very helpful and genuinely wants to see you succeed. His tests are not difficult and as long as you do the review you will pass the class. I recommend taking him for lab if you have him for lecture. If you do not understand anything be sure to tell him, he will explain a problem until it is understood.

Profesor Zhou's class is not the easiest, but if you try and have a good attitude he will try his hardest to help you pass. I recommend Zhou if you are wiling to work. At times it is hard too keep up in lecture but you get used it.

He is very nice, but it was extremely difficult for me to learn from him since he was not that clear. He really cares for his students and helps you if you reach out to him. He gives random quizzes that dont follow the material covered. Make sure you do the homework because it very much helps on the test.

Mr. Zhao is a great Professor. He teaches Chem 1 & 2, and Ive taken him for both. Chemistry is a hard subject as is, but he tries to make it easier on you as best as he can. Do ALL the homework and definitely the reviews, and you should pass. Textbook is not needed, but it helps. 4 tests and he drops the lowest one.

Quizzes not scheduled (random). Exams very similar to reviews. Homework also prepares you for exams. He gives you everything you need to succeed. Has a good sense of humor too.

Really cool and funny person. Chemistry is not easy in general, but Mr. Zhao gives effort in his power points to help you pass his class.

He really tries to help you get a good grade in this class. There are a LOT of pop quizzes but they are all open book he even lets you bring handwritten notes to the test. Always do the review if you want to do well on the test. If you just turn in your homework on time it's an easy 100. Will give extra credit.

Lots of HW easy 100's AKA Grade booster. If you do your homework (I mean actually doing it), take notes, and passed high school math class, this call should be an easy B+/A class. He also drops the lowest HW, quiz and, test grades at the end of the semester. Decent teacher and funny guy.

He is really nice, and most importantly he is a good professor. His reviews help a lot with the exams they have a lot of sample questions that are similar to what is on the test. He explains anything that you might not understand if you go to his office hours. If you need to talk to him he emails back pretty quick. pop quizez so show up!

Professor Z was very funny during class and also very helpful when it came to grades and what to study. There is HW every week and also quizzes. Keep track of dates when he gives you the syllabus because it helps with knowing whats due and what is going on that week. He notices when you are a focused and serious student and he commends that.

Professor Zhao is a funny teacher. He does help you after class, but he rushes through the chapters. You will be able to pass, but you have to work extremely hard for an A in his class. His lab is chaotic. For my lab, you had to be the quickest group to finish & do it accurately to receive a high grade. No 100s on lab

Mr. Zhao is a wonderful teacher. I will let you know his lectures can be a tad bit confusing but he is a very very smart gentlemen. We did do a lot of homework as a completion grade so be prepared for homeworks. You will need to study outside of class as well.

Attendance isn't mandatory but not attending class will catch up to you. By missing class in CHEM 1405 you wont be able to catch up.

Could not recommend this professor enough genuinely one of my favorites. Chemistry is hard but he is aways making the lectures fun and interactive. allows cheat sheets on all exams and extra 10 points for doing the review. If you forget to do the homework all you have to do is email him and he opens it back up.

Professor Zhao is a good professor. His lectures weren't the best but I got a B and I'm terrible with all math and chemistry. Homework every week, 4 tests and the final, and lab. Lab wasn't too hard but you have a 10 page report every week to write.
