She is young but very good. She believes in making tests easy for her students. She gives you the questions and answers for the test. She hates fill in the blank and all her notes come from power point. She is the greatest and you can find her next semester at the Oviedo Campus and at Valencia.

I loved her and her class. She gave very clear notes, and her tests were right off the notes. Also, every day before a test she would read us the actual questions from the test so that we could study them (we couldn't write them down). She is funny, awesome, and a great teacher.

GREAT professor. Lectures from powerpoints available online to her students. Reviews and offers a lot of extra credit. Keeps it interesting and makes as many real life examples as possible to make the material relevant and understandable. Any psychology textbook will work to make necessary references. Highly recommended.

Great Teacher. She uses excellent examples in her lecturing too. All her exams are based on her notes. You just have to study from them. Her grading for papers is quite strict so make sure you "FOLLOW" directions. Make sure you attend class too because she is kinda strict on that as well. Easy to work with.

Follow the power points and you will do fine. Take good notes and come to class. A STICKLER about APA format on papers especially on the citations. Do it by the book or lose BIG points. It seemed that she did play "favorites" at times. Will talk about her kids ALOT.

She is amazing! I took her for general and developmental. She will talk about her kids a lot, but they are the best real life example she can offer! No need for the book, study the powerpoints and you'll do fine. You can turn in your papers early to have her check them so there is no excuse for not getting 100%. The best prof I have ever had!!!

Easiest teacher in the world, studied for two hours before each test and got A's on all her tests. She offers five point extracredit for all her test so there is no reason for anyone to fail her class.

Ms. D is the best teacher I have ever had. She is perfectly clear and she tells you everything you need to know for every test, paper, and anything else you need to turn in. You have 4 short papers that you can get proof read and easily get 100 on, tests are straight outta her personal, easy to understand notes, all of her lectures. A++++ take her!

****ens is an amazing teacher if you print out your notes and follow along and study RIGHT OFF THE POWERPOINT you will get an A no problem. The papers are not hard and she will check them in advance, including the final big paper that is worth 150 points. Simple class and she has great examples and very exciting teaching style. I RECOMMEND HER!!!!!

Going to class is interesting and fun BUT if you're not familiar with APA writing format DO NOT TAKE HER! She is WICKED picky about grading papers and take 5 points off for each mistake! (4 small papers and 1 big one)RIDICULOUS! Always lets out early but she gives NO REVIEW for tests! Powerpoints are helpful yet offer little help when studying!!

Great class. The notes are useless. Never once opened the expensive book. Tests were horrible. Failed every test, but with all of the extra credit she offers, brought those grades up to C's and passed the class with a B. Attendence is a must. She give extra credit for attendence! She makes each lecture personable. Very funny and nice!

I LOVE HER! Tests are hard, hw/activites are easy so just get them done, attendance a must (& she gives EC for coming to class), she's funny, easygoing, patient. Best advise I can give you? Research APA formatting- IMO it's way easier than MLA & you'll do great in the class. BTW Did I mention I LOVE HER? lol. She deserves 10stars!

She is a great teacher Likes to text message its the easiest way to get a hold of her. Test are not the easiest, but understands that not everyone is a good test taker and if you do the work she give you can get 50's on the tests and still pass with a B. If you dont do the work or do good on the tests theres no hope. Overall fantastic teacher!!!!!!

Awesome class! Mrs. ****ens always has hilarious stories to tell, but she knows what she's talking about and puts the craziness of psychology in everyday terms. Attendance is a must and her tests are pretty hard but she's always finding ways to help you, she has your best interest in mind. Basically just do what she asks and you'll be fine.

Fun, friendly, and fair. Relates psychology terminology for easy digestion. Did not require book, but I feel I did better on her exams when I read. Group paper/presentation on a psychologist. Other assigned core writings are up to you as long as they are topics related to psychology. Notes are in the form of printable PowerPoints that she provided.

Great teacher. She is young and fun. Talks on level with you. 1st test was kinda hard but with EC made an A, 2nd test much easier and still had EC, final was optional at last minute. Papers were fun, homework was a breeze she would make it up as she went, and notes came from printable PP slides. Book only useful if u want to refresh B4 tests.

she is by far one of the best teachers at SCC... i took her in summer and only my sister and i had As in the class until she curved the whole thing and made a lot of people happy.... =) very fun teacher, very STRICT on her papers, loves to teach easy to reach. I am taking her again for DEP

My favorite teacher at SCC thus far. It's not an easy class, but you learn a whole bunch and she keeps it interesting. I'm considering taking DEV with her and I don't even need it for my degree.

She is a great professor. Her tests come from the slides. You don't really need the book and as long as you pay attention in class turn in your assignments you should definitely get an A. She keeps lectures interesting and is pretty interactive with her students. I really enjoyed her class.

don't get the book! shes got all the slides posted on a website and she teaches by power point. Listen to her b/c sometimes she says things that are on the test but doesn't put them in writing, so don't just write what's on the board but also what she says.

Easy going, easy to understand, gets off topic a little but usually relates subject somehow to understand. Show up to class and you should be good to go!

Fantastic class. Not necessarily EASY. She has four tests, a final, two short easy reaction papers, one 500 word research project, and one 1,500 word group research project. She marks off one point per mistake on the papers, which are written in APA format. Her tests are hard. Don't walk into this class expecting to get A's on all the tests.

This professor was very helpful and super nice! The only downfall is a group paper at the end of the semester but as long as you pick good group members you'll get an A. Taking her for Developmental Psych as well!

I'm glad I took her again for developmental psych! She is very helpful, I never felt intimidated by her when I had a question. Her tests were based on power point slides, so if you study those, you will be fine. The textbook isn't necessary but if you are someone who likes to use one, then it couldn't hurt.

Cool professor, nice to talk to and she will give you her number to text her anytime with questions about homework, upcoming tests, etc. My only complaint is that her tests are pretty in depth and using just the powerpoint slides that we were told to study didn't help as much as i thought they would.

This is my 2nd class with her and she is amazing! I would take her again in a heartbeat. Clear grading criteria, 5 pts EC on tests, 2 research papers (1 is a group paper). Her lectures are amazing and clear. Put in effort to pass the tests since they are application questions instead of vocab. Show up or else it'll reflect negatively on grade.

Really enjoyed this class this semester. The class is super easy. You just have to make sure you set aside time to study and prepare for exams. Although she does drop your lowest exam grade, it's best to prepare for all of them. I really like her as a professor. She responds quick to messages (we text her). I will be taking her again for DEP 2004.

Overall, amazing professor! really gets into her lectures and gives great examples. Takes into consideration everyone's perspectives, no right or wrong answers (except on tests :p)

She was great. Available through text and responds immediately. LearnSmart has the textbook online so no need to buy. Tests are online so open book, notes, and internet. Research paper is only 500 words. 2 Reaction papers 250 words. Attendance counts for 100pts of your grade. Half points for late assignments. Would absolutely take her again!

This class is super interesting and the tests are all online and pretty easy as long as you pay attention. Plus there is barely any homework and only one research paper.

She's awesome. Tells you exactly what you need to know. Exams are online and she preps you well. I don't recommend printing the slides because she doesn't use them all. Take good notes and you'll be fine. I used the book for help prep for tests but, the newest version is not required nor is an online code. Wait to buy the book after the 1st day.

If you don't get an A with this professor, you gotta fix something. She gives very easy but useful material to use. She creates detailed PowerPoint presentations that easily substitute for a textbook. Definitely a grade A professor.

Great professor. There is a lot of discussion in class, and she really cares to hear students opinions/ideas and is very centered/non-bias. Pay attention to the powerpoints and take notes because it will be on the tests. Papers aren't too bad, and she does drop worst test grade. She is available day or night via text and always answers

This class had a lot of work but that is normal for an accelerated course. I took this course in the B session of fall. The professor grades fairly and as long as you stay on top of your work it shouldn't be too hard to pass. The tests can be difficult.

Very good psychology professor! The biggest thing to worry about is the discussion posts. They are a little lengthy and you have to find your own source, as well as respond to two other students and keep a convo going. Other than that, class is super easy and as long as you read the textbook, you'll do well!

She is a good teacher to take for a basic class however, she does not really teach the lesson I found myself having to basically teach myself the stuff through the textbook. However, I did find her interesting with what she had to say but only part of her lecture would prepare me for the exam.
