Literally my favorite professor wish she taught more classes.

Hamblin is a great professor! Class is lectures and sketchbooks. She seems strict on deadlines, but her assignments are manageable, and she's always open to questions. Also, don't buy the book! I rented it and regretted spending money on it.

Very understanding if you have any restrictions or situations going on. Assignments are straightforward but allow creative freedom at the same time which is so refreshing. Her energy is amazing, would 10/10 take this class again!

Dr. Hamblin was a great professor. She was always there to help and there to talk, even if it is not related to the class. She is very strict about her due dates on assignments, but gives you a good amount of time to do them before turning them in. I recommend taking her for art appreciation.

Professor H has easily become one of my favorite professors at HCU. She is kind, energetic, and heartwarming. In terms of coursework, we get sketchbook assignments that are fairly easy and allow for our creativity to shine, even if you aren't the best artist! We are given museum assignments, 2 exams, and 2 projects, with none being difficult.

Professor Hamblin is an excellent teacher who strives to connect with every student. She makes classes engaging and accessible, and the midterm exam is manageable thanks to her helpful study guide, unlike other professors. The sketchbook assignments are simple, and she fosters a relaxed atmosphere with music while drawing.

She is sweet and engaging with students. She encourages students to participate and be open to art. She sets up a very non-judgmental environment for students. The lectures are well taught, and she uploads the PowerPoints after class so is useful for the exams. The work is manageable, just try to get it done as soon as is presented to you.

Very nice professor, at beginning I thought this class will be boring and hard because I don't know how to draw. But after I took it, it was very interesting, you don't need worry about what you need draw. She carried how you pay your effort. And assignments are interesting too, that we visit all kinds museums.

Professor Hamblin's class was both enjoyable and straightforward. The course required you to write three essays and visit three museums. Her exams were manageable, especially with the reviews she provided. Just be sure to attend regularly, as she mentioned that missing more than three days would result in a one-letter grade drop.

Professor Hamblin is the BEST professor I've encountered since my stay at HCU. She is playful but can get serious when it's time. She makes her class enjoyable; honestly, I dread leaving her class. There are Museum assignments and a midterm and they're easy. I would most definitely recommend her class to anyone.

If im not mistaken, the hardest part about this class was actually getting into your car and going to a museum. Basically, why wouldn't you take this class, ESPECIALLY if it's offered by Ms. Hamblin. She gives out food and the work she asks of us in our sketchbooks is not just easy, but also a lot of fun to do with a partner. 9.99/10

Even though I took this class for mandatory credit, it's a nice easy class that you don't have to stress over too much.

For this class, she will require you to visit a few museums, but she will give plenty of class days off for you to be able to have time to go. Attendance is required, but if you have a valid excuse for being absent she will understand and help you get caught up.

Turn in work on time, show up and take brief notes. Suggest studying the study guides and as long as you try you should pass. She is really nice and makes effort to extend a helping hand.

Professor Hamblin was very sweet, she made sure we were always ok. even though class was early in the morning she always had a smile on her face and ready to teach us about art. I would definitely take the class again, her museum days are pretty cool too, going to the museum to look and experience art in our own way was very interesting too.

She is very nice and very understanding as long as you talk to her. Powerpoints are all posted and give good explanations. Most assignments are also very clear and very simple, and not that much work. Pay attention, read the instructions, and you shouldn't have any problems walking away with an A.

She's a fantastic teacher who cares for every one of her students. She assigns a few assignments, and the most important ones are due at the end of the semester, giving you much time to practice. However, you shouldn't procrastinate and leave everything at the end. Her Midterm and Finals are easy if you listen to the lectures and take good notes.

Hamblin is super sweet and caring. Attendance is important for this class, but if you email her before missing she is pretty lenient. She does take the class a bit too serious sometimes and the museum assignments are kind of big, but the class as a whole is great.

Their teaching style consists of PowerPoints, being hands-on with students' work, and proposing ideas for students' art. Their ability to get their points across and teach the material to the point of full understanding is immaculate. 10/10 would take class again.

easy credit class, just do as she tells you. the "hardest" parts of this class (FOR ME!) were the sketchbook assignments, only because i don't really draw... oh and museum assignment #1 was super tedious. get that out of the way for sure. but overall just come to class (like ur supposed to..) and study the easy material free A+

I really enjoyed this class throughout the whole semester. Even though I'm not an art major and not very good at art, Professor Hamblin always encouraged me. She explained every topic clearly and created a recap document for each class, which made it much easier to follow the material on Blackboard!

I took this call because of liberal arts, and it wasn't so hard the PowerPoints and reviews she provides are helpful, but you do kind of have to study you can't really push the class to the side. As a professor she is very nice and keeps students accountable and she does count attendance. I do recommend taking her class.

Okay, so I have to say, Professor Hamblin is seriously one of my favorite professors! She's super engaging and makes every class feel like a conversation rather than just a lecture. I love how she breaks down complex ideas into something we can all understand.

Amazing teacher, I love the way she structures her class. Really laid back and positive. Assignments aren't really hard, you just have to draw, go to museums, and write a few essays. Nothing crazy, gives plenty of time to finish everything. Tests are super easy if you put like 15min of study time. Textbook is required but didn't really use it much.

A very easygoing teacher. You won't have to stress about this course. There are very easy tests and a few projects involving art which is the extent of the assignments. She is also incredibly understanding if you are struggling.
