Professor Joiner is the sweetest and she really cares about her students. She goes above and beyond for the students that care and she is extremely helpful. The class material is obviously difficult but she is extremely motivating and patient. The best accounting professor by far!

I love Professor Joiner! She is not only an amazing prof but a very caring individual. She makes difficult material so much more simple through her explanations. She also gives lots of extra credit!

She is a really good teacher. She is young but really knows what she is talking about. She creates test reviews and will always help if you ask her for help. Attendance isn't mandatory but she will use iClicker almost everyday and it can count for extra credit at the end of the semester.

100% my favorite professor by far. She knows what shes talking about, communicates extremely well and cares about your grade. Very young and understanding. Recommend going to lecture, take notes, look up things in the book only if you need additional help and you'll be fine.

I took her for Managerial Accounting and this is a very difficult class but she explained the material thouroughly and even went out of her way to make sure we all had what we needed to succeed in this course. Take her for Accounting if you can, you wont regret it.

This is a difficult class and I would not have passed if it were not for this professor. She was very helpful in office hours and made study guides for the class. She is also very kind and gets to know most of her students. I highly recommend this professor.

I was super scared of ACCT 2020 after 2010 but honestly, Ms. Joiner is actually the best professor to learn from. The best teacher i have ever had. I hated accounting but after taking her class, accounting makes so much sense. Although she is so young, she is very knowlegdable. You cannot get a grade lower than a b if you put in effort. Blessed i had her for acct 2020.

She's a great teacher. She's new and young but she knows the material well and makes herself very available to help out, as well as responds well to feedback. I enjoyed the class but I didn't want to buy MML and ended up transferring the course from my community college. Also, she's one of the finest profs on campus so that's cool too.

Professor Joiner is a very compassionate and caring teacher. She was always available outside of class, and I went over past assignments with her to help study for exams. The homework is a pain to do but decent practice for exams; however the exams are more similar to quizzes. Would definitely take her again!

Professor Wang is a gem. She is always readily available to answer any questions you may have. Her explanations are clear and logical. She is ready to help you develop a game plan to achieve the goals you're striving for. This course is difficult (it's accounting), but she made it very doable.

Is understanding of personal problems and will work with you. Tests and homework are sometimes difficult, but that is not her fault but the Accounting Department's.

Easily the nicest professor I've had thus far. She is a natural at teaching, and clearly conveyed every single chapter in the course. You have to use iClicker during lectures but the examples themselves are really beneficial. I was dreading this class after ACCT2010 but she made it understandable. Take her if you can.

Difficult class, made very manageable by a great professor. She really knew what she was talking about and gave amazing notes. If I had the same class, but without her, I probably would have made a C.

I was afraid of ACCT 2020 because it is a heavy class but prof Wang did her best to help us to get through this class. It was a hard class, chapter homework, and quiz EVERY week but it helped us to prepare for the exams. There are 6 exams including the final. She gives extra points and curves for the exams but she decides that if we need it or not.

One of my FAVORITE professors to this day. Professor Wang is a genuinely caring, kind, and understanding person. Her lectures are fun/easy to follow, & she always goes the extra mile to help students excel. She even made a twitter account for our class! I had her during the covid outbreak, and she handled the transition like a pro. 100% recommend!

Mrs. Wang is amazing instructor that I took in a Summer 5W1. I absolutely loved her adaption to online learning and her applied teaching methods. professor wang is incredible. i took this class online last semester due to covid and she accommodated her course so well to help us the best she could. instead of just making us read, she cared enough to record really informative lecture videos. tons of resources to prepare for exams. anyone who complains just didnt wanna put work in!

Professor Wang is one of my favorite college professors. Her class is set up to help you succeed. She provides recorded lectures, preprinted notes and lots of practice, examples and extra credit. She breaks the topics down so anyone can understand. I'm taking her again in the fall . She set a high bar for all other accounting professors for me.

Professor Wang gives a lot of homework, but youll be SO grateful when it pays off for the tests. It really does. She is extremely caring and genuinely concerned about how each student feels and what they need to succeed in her class. Very accessible. 5 exams + the final, lowest one (not the final) dropped. Lowest quiz grade dropped as well. 12/10

Only book you need is pearson, 5 exams 1 gets dropped and a mandatory final. Uses lockdown with cam very helpful videos and amazing notes has knowledge checks after every 2 videos very easy DONT BUY THE OTHER BOOK SHE SAYS TO. The hw and quizzes are all on pearson and exam reviews are very helpful for exams. MEMORIZE everything ended w 91 in CLASS

10/10 professor who has mastered the online way of lecturing. I couldn't have asked for a better professor during the pandemic. She is very serious but wants you to work hard for the grade to learn the best way possible. Her lecture videos are super helpful along with the text I found myself really enjoying the class. TAKE HER!!!

I took this during a 5WK Semester, so the pace was incredibly fast. That being said, none of the work was difficult to understand and Wang really personalizes her notes and lecture videos. Pay attention to the videos, take notes, practice the homework questions. Repetition is the key to success in this course, so work ahead and you'll do great.

It's not a coincidence that this professor gets great reviews. She is really great at what she does. Very clear, easy to understand lectures and genuinely cares about her students. Her only flaw is she is an anti-cheating nutjob. Even though I didn't cheat, I was nervous on some exams because of how strict her exam rules were.

If I could take this professor with every class I would. She is the definition of a perfect professor. Cares about your grade, cares about every student, explains the material clearly and in detail. I took her online class. The best part about her was how visual she taught. She never said anything without writing it down/showing it in the notes and then she would post the notes. Everything is clear. You know what you need to do and when, and i's very structured course. She does good reviews for each exam.

Professor Wang is one of the best Professors I have had. Her notes on Canvas are a lifesaver and make understanding the material super easy. Her lectures in class go over concepts and practice questions. Tests are straightforward, similar to quiz questions. She is very strict about cheating, so don't even try.

ACCT 3120 is very difficult but Professor Wang is so good that it was relatively easy to get an A in this class! I had her for a three hour night class, which was not ideal, but she did her absolute best teaching us and went all the way till 9:20pm. Professor Wang is just all around an awesome person, and I would recommend her for any class!

I built my class schedule around Wang, she's an incredible teacher. If you find accounting and basic math easy, this class should be a breeze for you. If you find it difficult, she offers so much help during office hours and there are class tutors multiple times a week. Do yourselves a favor, take Professor Wang.

Wang is easily the best professor I have had at UNT. I took her for 2020 and then again for 3120 (after doing very poorly the first time I took 3120 with a different professor). She cares so much about every student she teaches, and even though this is a very difficult class, she makes it an enjoyable experience. Wish I could take her again!!!

I wish every professor here was like her. She deserves a huge raise because no professor in my entire life is as good as her and I miss her because every professor after her has not been as efficient as mrs. Wang. This is the only class I got a solid 100 in.

Prof. Wang is the literal best professor for ACCT 2020. She provided notes that summarized what each chapter was about. Acct 2020 is hard but thats something she can't control but she does a very good job of explaning all the different topics. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN. YOU WONT REGRET IT :)

Great teacher. It's nice that it's not lecture heavy. She gives you worksheets in class to engage. Then she throughly explain the answers. She gave you time to talk about the material with other students. her own written notes are great if you don't want to read the entire textbook

The course is hard ! But professor wang is great she does whatever she can to help us! She also gave some extra credit opportunities which was great be prepared to read before going to class it is very doable. I recommend taking notes from the powerpoint as well. When it comes to studying use all items that she provides they will be very helpful!

Professor Wang is an amazing professor. She lets you know what she expects from you and she knows how to get you to that point. The course can be difficult sometimes, but she does everything she can to get the help you need. There is a textbook, but her written notes are all you really need. I only used the textbook to see examples of problems.

Professor Wang is hands down the best professor I've had at UNT, she does everything in her power to make sure you understand the material. Attendance is very important as she does drop a letter grade if you miss more than 20% of lectures. If you are worried about your grade make sure to reach out to her SHE WILL HELP YOU.

She uses Pearson MyLab for quizzes, homework, and exams. The exams were a lot similar to the quizzes do definitely review those. Attendance matters for understanding the course.

Great professor who explains the material very well. Can be a little overwhelming if you fall behind, but if you go to class and pay attention to the lectures (which are easy to follow and all notes are in canvas) you will have no issues maintaining an A.

Super nice and made it very clear she wants everyone to succeed. She also knows her stuff so make sure to attend lectures as her explanations are often easier to understand than the textbook. ACCT 2020 is also much more conceptual than 2010 so be prepared for equal amounts of conceptual questions as well as calculation questions.

The class itself can be pretty challenging but professor Wang really did a great job at lecturing and presenting the material in a way that can stick. She makes very good use of the short class period & missing a class could make it difficult for you to understand the next. Overall, loved her as a professor and she really cares about her students.

Everything is outlined for you, she gives you the best tips on how & when to do homework. The class is conceptual, don't try and learn equations without understanding what they mean, you'll be screwed. She cares about you understanding the material, it's a lot of material thrown at you at a fast pace, so if you can, take a longer than 50 min class.

Professor Wang cares deeply for each of her students. She wants everyone to do well and if you take the initiative you will pass this class, If you have office hours with her you can tell. She is hands down the most organized professor I have ever had. Take her and you'll be so glad you did :) She should be the head of the accounting department.

Grieser & Wang are the best professors in the Acct. Dpt! Would highly recommend, esp. if you found ACCT2010 difficult. The class uses Pearson, but you should get if for free if you took ACCT 2010 in the previous semester.

Took accounting 2020 with a different professor and I was completely lost, had no idea what was going on,I was losing hope. My professor added Mrs. Wang's recorded lectures and after following each one I finally understood what was being presented.I can easily say I would have not passed the class if it wasnt for her and she wasnt even my professor

In my opinion, she is a very good professor, she explains very well and if you have a hard time her doors are always open. As long as you go to class and keep up with your assignment and quiz this class will be an easy A. Heavy on going to class because that will be the most helpful thing. Wang makes accounting easy to understand. She gives plenty of real world examples. Engages the class more than most other professors. The quizzes are not difficult if you do the homework before them and follow the in class exercises. She wants you to succeed and understand the concepts, but you do have to meet her halfway by showing up and working.

There's a lot of homework and quiz, but the lectures are very thorough. She even provides notes to read along with the lectures and detailed exam prep. I loved this and the class. Don't cheat in this class she is very serious about this.
