So far the best class I've taken. Prof Glaser is great at getting the students comfortable with eachother and making the environment enjoyable. You'll actually learn something and come away with useful information. All she ask is for you to try and put effort into the speeches and the typed summaries. A/B+ easily.

Prof. Glaser is cool & fun, but the subject gets boring after a while. We analyzed everything and almost every class she had us sitting in little circles to answer questions (I hate group projects) - PLUS we had a quiz EVERY WEEK, three papers, presentation, & read this huge textbook. This class wore me out!

Professor Glaser is the best. If you have any nerves about speaking in front of classes then this is the class to take. She really transitions the class well so you can get comfortable. One of the best Professors at B.M.C.C.

She's funny and clear. It was a lot of fun taking her class. She was the first professor who makes me write a thank you letter after the finals.

Dr. Glaser is simply the best. She really knows how to connect with students. You will come out of this class a WHOLE lot smarter; you will look at the world at a different angle. There's a lot of writing involved but believe me, it will pay off once you get to a four-year. You won't regret taking this fun class.

She's a great teacher. She was very good at helping the class understand the way the media works, and what it's missing. She's the chairperson of the communications department, so it's safe to say that she knows what she's talking about. Plus she'll work with you if you're late with your paper. I've seen her accept papers a month later.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Glaser. I'm a total introvert and dreaded speech and she makes it fun and interesting. She may be the best professor I've ever had. This professor creates a fun but learning environment for students.

She's a very good professor. She insinuates group work, participation and cooperation in class. Before her I couldn't stand group work, but in her class i learned a lot -starting from how to behave in group, what role to play, how to interact with other group members etc. No exams as I can remember, only projects. Individual projects you can redo.

It's a speech class, show up and do speeches and pass. If you are a confident person you will have no trouble in this class. If you aren't, better work on your confidence. Do speeches on subjects you already know so you have the knowledge in your head. The amount of people I have seen doing speeches with no knowledge of the subject hurts you.

Professor Glaser is amazing. Public speaking is not easy for most people, but she has a way of making it easy and manageable for most students who are scared. I love her and would definitely recommend her class. Do all the speeches and you are guarantee to pass.

She is one of my favorite teachers. Took her for Mass Media and requested her for Speech 100. She makes you feel very comfortable, gets to the point and gives great tips and feedback. Seriously gonna miss her. 3 speeches (1-2 min., 3-4 and 5-7) and a final reciting of a famous speech, literally reading off the paper for 1-2 minutes.

If you complete 5/5 speeches properly you get an A in the class. 4/5B, 3/5C, 2/5D. Nice lady.

Shes so sweet. All you have to do is 5 Speeches & you get an A. She cares a lot for her students. Her class is really enjoyable.

Had her for intro to Com. Amazing professor who cares for her students. She also gives all assignments up front and you do it on your own time (blessing and a curse). Class is always super interesting and fun (participation matters, but she makes it really easy). Definitely sign up for her class if you get the chance, 10/10.

If you have anxiety standing up to give a speech, she's definitely the professor you should take. You only have to do two mandatory speeches and 3 mini projects. Do all and show up to class and you will definitely pass the class without a doubt.

This was a fun class, shes really helpful and easy to get on with. Due to COVID-19 we moved to online classes and she was so supportive and considerate, she reduced the workload and made it easier to get an A. Definitely would recommend!!

An absolute gem! Shes very sweet and understanding. At first i was afraid because i am a shy girl and i was afraid of public speaking but she made the effort to keep the first few days of classes as a get to know each other and that really helped! made a few friends. Gives you the space to think creatively! Love her!

Professor Glaser's approach to communications theories is clear and entertaining. Do your easy weekly activities, write your 3 two-page papers on one of the theories in the book, and show up to the class and you will get A. Her lessons are fun, she is very engaging, and loves to ask your opinions on the topics. If you can, take her class.

Professor Glaser is an inspiration. As a readmit student after a 23-year hiatus, of my four other professor during this semester, she is most definitely my favorite. The lectures are participatory. She encourages every student to engage and express ourselves. I especially enjoy the frequent breakout group sessions.

Prof. Glaser is pretty straightforward with her grading. She does not give tests but instead assigns three papers based on the chapters throughout the semester. Her lectures are very engaging and interesting.

10000/10000, The most amazing Profsser I ever had in this school. The lecture, the discussion board, and the essay are good and easy. I could sit in her class for hours ( if I can ). It's nothing but love, respect, caring, and understanding in this classroom. I wish I had this professor for all of the classes I need to take!

Lessons are clear and informative. Discussion and journals based on the assigned readings are assigned per class. Grading and feedback is clear. Is also flexible with late work.

TAKE HER!! Weekly assignments are not crazy, 2 things a week, and 3 essays through the semester that aren't hard at all. She is flexible, you determine your own grade. Do the work if you want the A, simple as that. Her lectures are very interesting, she loves your thoughts and opinions, and she's overall an amazing professor! My favorite by far.

Professor Glaser Class was great . I feel like I learned something that I could use in everyday life .She made the class easy and enjoyable by relating it to our lives .The class consist of 3 essays ,13 attendances,13 Journals,& 13 discussion boards on theories . However , she only requires you to do 11 out of the 13 for each to get an A .

This Professor is a must-take class. The professor cares about the students and gives students an extended time to do assignments. This professor responds to emails within a day. An easy A, just do the work.

I have been taking other classes with Professor Glaser throughout my years at Bmcc and I always enjoyed learning from her. This course was game changing. I always disliked working in groups, as it is hard to get along, but she gave us real tools and techniques to apply in certain situations that I am sure will come useful for my future career path.

COM 260 is my second class with Professor Glaser, I also took COM100. Both clases were super interesting and key for my formation as a communication studies professional. I am learning so many skills in com260 that will be useful forever. You can think that working in groups is hard, but it will change once you take this class! She is awesome!!

I loved Prof Glaser! Her Com 100 course was a great introduction to communications. The class was super chill, one reading and a bit of writing per week. She really tried to engage the class in conversation, we were split into groups for discussions quite often. Overall a fun and interesting class.

This one is my favorite. She rules. Seriously. You will learn a ton about Communication Theory, and likely a thing or two about *yourself* in this class. Do the work. Prof. Glaser is incredibly fair and really wants you to succeed. I loved her teaching style so much I'm going to take any of her other classes I can while I'm here! The best.

Professor Glaser's COM100 course was a great intro to communication theory. The class was chill with engaging discussions, and unstuck AI provided helpful study prep. Definitely take this if you can!
