AWESOME teacher. Attendance somewhat required, as "participation" is a big part of grade. She'll know you by name within a couple months. Review sessions for exams give you EXACTLY what is on the exam. Easy A. Very nice lady.

She is a great teacher and probably the best teacher I have had here at UK. She makes a point to know everyone's name within the first month of class and gives you exactly what's on the exams. You HAVE to go to class thou, because she is a stickler on attendence. But the class is genuinely fun and interesting. TAKE HER CLASS!!!

Material is challenging if you are not into personal selling, but Hapke is a fantastic teacher. I would recommend her to anyone I know. She genuinely cares about her students and wants to get to know everyone. Best professor at UK!

Hapke is by far my favorite professor at UK. She is extremely nice and she really cares about the students she has. MKT410 was a challenging class, but it wasn't impossible. The tests are pretty easy, but the projects are a little difficult. But overall, I would recommend any class with her!

Mrs. Hapke is an amazing teacher! She tells you everything you need to know for the exams and she really cares about her students. She is one of the best teachers at UK. Easy A if you go to class, take notes, and participate!

Holly is an awesome teacher. She is enthusiastic about helping students learn, and her class is very straightforward. The work is helpful, the notes are excellent, and the tests are given and graded fairly. Without a doubt one of the best teachers in Gatton. Those who disagree either had a personal problem or didn't put any effort into the class.

Great teacher and funny. She gives you an incomplete outline of the book which you fill out in class throughout the semester. Tells you exactly what will be on the tests. Project is broken up into 5 easy sections to be completed throughout the semester.

She's nice... but I really did not enjoy her class.. at all. It was too long and she WILL GO TO THE END. There are daily quizzes but she is really fair with those- she only takes the highest 15 quiz grades. Youll also do just fine on her exams as long as you dont lose your notes and you study.

Super easy class. You do one clicker quiz per class (5 Q's), but only need 15 for the whole class (she drops the worst 9). Just get a study guide from notehall and you'll Ace the tests (which are insanely easy). Basically no homework, just about 3 very easy, small assignments. Easy A or B. Take this class.

If you can't get an A in this class you are legitimately brain dead. She makes it as easy as possible, and notes are taken through worksheets she provides at the beginning of class. She literally lets you know every thing that will be asked for on the test. Also, for her MWF class we only met on Friday twice all semester.

So easy! Great teacher and super nice! Gives you a packet at the beginning for notes and you just fill in the blank. Group project is easy and if you ask her any questions she will help you. Tells you what to study for exams. If you don't get an A then something is wrong.

Very easy. In-class quizzes, so you must be there. Note packet you fill out in class, she tells you which parts to study. Definitely an "Easy A"

The lectures are interesting, the lecture packets require you to pay attention to fill them out and seem to vary from page to page which keeps you engaged. The clicker quizzes are a motivator to get you to attend. Very helpful, and informative.

Not mandatory. It is a MWF class, but almost all Fridays are "virtual"- you have to post something on BB. Very easy tests, she tells you what will be on it. Semester long project; get a good group or it will be hard and time consuming. You have to present 3 WSJ throughout the semester. Easy A, I recommended taking this class.

Holly Hapke is so nice and helpful. Her class may seem overwhelming at first, but it's not. There are in-class quizzes, homework assignments per chapter (to help your grade), and the exams aren't bad either. Attend class and the exam review session. No final if you have an A going into the final. Highly recommend.

Holly Hapke is a great professor. Clicker Quizzes and the answers to notes are an incentive to go to lecture Buying the notes is necessary and tests are directly from them. Attend exam review lectures for test topics and then study those. The exams are easy with the review. Super Easy A!

Holly was a pretty cool teacher man. Honestly, I think her class is set up for you to do well. She drops the lowest 6 clickers (meaning you can miss six classes basically), online homework is a given, she tells you almost exactly what you need to know for exams, three exams (final is optional). There's no way you shouldn't excel. DONT BUY THE BOOK.

You go to class, do your clicker questions(aka sit there and ask the person next to you the answer), ALL of the homeworks have a "check my work button" before you submit, and you'll pass. the only thing you need to do is study for tests. I haven't don't well on the tests because I'm an idiot, but you'll do really well!!

Love her. She makes it very easy to do well in her class and tries to make it as interesting as possible. Don't buy the textbook, you get an eBook with your access code and a super helpful note-taking guide can purchased at Johnny Print.

She is such a nice and happy person. She will cheer you up every morning. The in class clickers are easy, the homework assignments are easy, she tells you everything for the exams. Put in an hour or two of studying and you'll get an A. Don't buy the textbook. The notes from Johnny Print are a must though!

One of the best professors at UK. The class size is big but as long as you go to class and pay attention it is easy. She is always so cheerful and happy and it was a great start to the day. I would highly recommend taking her because she is very helpful if you have any difficulties.

This is an easy class, but she's annoying. She constantly yells at people for talking and threatened to put us in assigned seats (but it's a class of 600). You have to do clicker questions, so you kind of have to go to class. She tells you exactly what's going to be on the tests and they aren't too hard. The homework isn't helpful at all.

People make her seem like shes the greatest prof ever and that is not the case. Her class is easy. Study hard for the exams. Take good notes.

Class is easy and can be done online so I never attended, she uses echo. There are questions to go with lecture so you do have to get the participation points from every lecture, but it's not bad. She tells you literally everything that will be on the exams in a review session. Multiple choice tests with a very obvious answer- got 100 on her final.

Holly is DOPE! She is very energetic in her lectures which make it easy to stay focused. The exams and homework are cake. She's willing to meet with her students and she will talk to you about anything. I love Holly.

I loved Holly! She was super helpful inside and outside class. Listen to the lectures and do the concept questions and the class isn't too bad. Her first 2 exams are kinda tough but the final is a breeze.

Easy online class, you get as many attempts until you get 100 on homework. The exams are a little difficult but as long as you have 100 on all your homework you can get an A in the class. Professor is very nice and answers any questions you have.

Hapke is a great professor. Homework and in-class clicker grades are very easy. Tests are a lot harder than you might think, so you actually have to study. The "hybrid" nature of this class (half online/half in-class) was somewhat difficult, but I ended up just going to class everyday and I found that was much more helpful. Overall great professor.

She is super nice. The class is all online and you have assignments due Friday of every week. You use mind tap and there are usually "unlimited checks" so you will always get a 100%. The exams are hard. I got a 50% on the final without studying one time and still got an A in the class. Do all extra credit opportunities!!!!!!! They help in the end!

I love how easy she is to talk to and how much she cares about her students. But there's SO many notes, and if you aren't into marketing and you are taking it just for credit then you need to study.

I took the online class and loved it. Super easy. One or two lessons a week due every Friday at midnight. Only two tests (midterm and final) & are not very difficult. Shes always available and sends out reminders every week. Just do the work and you should get an A.

This class was offered as a hybrid so one day a week it had to be attended in person, and the other you got to choose how you attended class (online (live or after) or in person). The homework was heavily based on the reading, and the in-class points were note heavy. Tests were very much like examples she gave during lecture.

Holly is a really caring and sweet professor. MKT 300 can be a pretty interesting course but it's mostly common sense. It's a hybrid course; you can do the lectures either in class or online. Overall, as long as you do all of the homework assignments (easy) and study what she tells you to study for the exams, you'll have no problem getting an A.

This was the easiest class I've ever taken. HW due once a week on Sunday, the midterm was online, and there's so much homework I needed a 50 or higher to keep an A in the class. If you need a GPA booster, take this class.

Dr. Hapke is an incredible professor - really cares about her students and clearly puts an effort into lectures. That being said, you need to study for the exams and make an effort to learn the material. It being a hybrid class makes it tempting to skip, but you need to at least attend online to understand the topics clearly. Overall, great class.

Only once a week and have to watch and answer questions on echo the other days. The material is a definitional base class. Easy material but a lot for the exams so study in advance and do not underestimate the exams. Easy A if you put the work into it. Holly is an amazing professor and always cares about her students.

I really like and highly recommend Hapke as a person and a professor, but I HATE hybrid courses and I learned this while taking this class. This class utilizes Echo360, and it is slow and constantly disconnects. We spent the first 2 weeks talking about how to use Echo then it almost never worked. Traditional classroom settings are better overall.

This is a Hybrid course, Lecture was one day a week and the other day you watched the lecture online. Very easy homework in the textbook, if you review for a few hours for exams you should get a good grade. Highly recommend taking professor Hapke

Holly is a very nice person. You can tell she cares about her students and the class is overall enjoyable. I really liked the hybrid style class; you only have to show up once a week! However, her exams are tricky. She asks SUPER specific questions and its a lot of material. I dont think its humanly possible to get a 100% on one of her exams

Hybrid course-one day in class, one day online. Lots of definitions to know for exams. I recommend making a quizlet as you fill in your notes so you have a study guide ready for the exams. Hapke is a good teacher, really nice and knows what she is talking about. Go to class as she will mention concepts you need to know for sure on the exams.

Hapke was a great professor! You definitely need to work for your grade in the class, but she makes lectures interesting and engaging. You must come to every class and do all the homework because they count for pretty good portion of your grade. Exams are difficult so make sure to study!

Holly Hapke is a great professor and will help you in any way that she can. You do have to pay attention in class and study a lot for the exams because they are hard. But she will help you in anyway that she can if you are nice and give effort. I also loved the hybrid format so I didn't have to go to class everyday.

Some of the negative ratings here are true but way blown out of proportion. She is a really good professor that wants you to understand the material. Her lectures are usually jammed with information, but she clearly explains most everything. The exams are difficult but if you study for them then they aren't too bad.

Holly is a great character and does a good job at putting all of the content in front of you. I'm in the hybrid MKT 300 class, and my only problem is forgetting to do homework. I recommend reading the book before class and filling out the supplementary course package, and then soak up all of the information during the following lecture.

She is overall a good professor. Her class is very test heavy so if you bomb one exam, it might be hard to bring your grade up. I enjoy how its hybrid class so I only have to go to class once a week and the other day I can watch online. Also, the week before the exam she tells you things that will be on the exam so it helps a lot with students.

It was a hybrid class, so we were supposed to go one day a week and watch online one day a week. However, if you watch online on the day you are supposed to go at the time your class is, you never have to go because she takes attendance by who is watching live. What she tells you to study for exams is essential because that's what's on the exam.

Professor Hapke is super down to earth and funny. The hybrid class is a little confusing at first but then I really liked it. The online homework is really easy and a helpful study tool and the lectures are interesting (if you find marketing interesting) with her inputs. Good class.

Lots of the reviews on here for Prof. Hapke are ridiculous. Her lectures can get a little boring but they're always based around the concepts you need to know. If you actually care and put effort forward, the class is very easy. Notetaking packet is very helpful for exam prep, and is really the only thing you need to feel ready.

Holly is always happy and nice during lectures. The class is so big you will most likely never have to talk to her. All hw/ECHO answers are online. Notes are fill in the blank. To pass tests, just memorize each section on the study guide. I just studied hard the night before and got an A on every test. Put in some effort and you will get an A.

She was awesome. She sent reminders for EVERYTHING which can be annoying but extremely helpful too. She had built in questions to her lectures for grade boosters. Exams were pretty easy and so is homework, lots of chances to understand coursework. She normally teaches online so she was a good selection for this semester.

Course flexibility was excellent by offering different methods, including a textbook, on-demand video, or live video. Very informative and helps relate the material to the real world. Easy to understand the subject matter, gets points and information across quickly and efficiently. Great notes packets provided for tests!

Holly is really sweet and I appreciated how well organized her class was. You literally dont have to learn anything in this class because the tests are all on quizlet and very easy. I just found her to be slightly annoying. Shes one of those people that are always just a little too happy and excited about marketing.

Professor Hapke's MKT 300 class is very straight forward: do the homework, review your notes, know the study guides for tests, and you will get an A. Easy class and you will learn a lot! Professor Hapke is also very caring and understanding, I had an injury during the semester and she allowed me time to catch up on work.

She is a great professor. Our class was hybrid style, so she many in-person attendance optional and gave you 24 hours to complete the questions corresponding to the lecture that day. She provides class notes to be filled in, gives clear answers, and the exams are based on her notes.

Professor Hapke is an absolute queen! She's so kind and helpful. The homeworks are not difficult. For lectures, attendance is required, but it's online one day and in-person on another. Exams aren't too bad either. They're online but they have more application type questions. So, make sure to prepare for that.

I kind of slacked off in this class and the tests kicked my butt and I still got a B so it is definitely possible to get an A if you pay more attention than I did (which is none). She is a fun teacher that liked to engage the class with fun activities and everything online is laid out nicely too so if you are at home it is easy to follow along.

I didn't pay much attention so I got mostly Bs on exams, yet I was able to pull off an A in the course because of other grades. I would definitely recommend her over other professors.

Amazing professor, she is very personable and I took her hybrid class so I didnt have to go into class(could take it from my couch). she took the time to learn as many peoples names as possible. if you pay attention in her class and take the notes the class is supper easy. test were a little harder tho.

This course was relatively easy and enjoyable. I took the hybrid section but did it all online, easy to earn attendance points. I did struggle a bit with the exams. Overall, she cares about her students and wants the course to be pleasant/constructive. Grade breakdown was 40% exams, 32% online assignments, 24% lectures, 3% REP.

Dr Hapke is good, the class is not always super interesting but its not the worst. The way the class works is theres 1100 students in the class and half show up on Tuesday and the other half shows up on Thursday, the other day you watch the livestream. It's "hybrid". The tests were hard and didnt always match the homework which killed my A

I loved taking her class so much and wished I could take her again. She makes her classes easily accessible where you can attend in-person, watch it live, or watch it on-demand later in the day. She also gives interesting power points where she doesn't just read off the slide like other professors. She engages with her students and cares for them.

Her online MKT 300 class is exceptional. With the price of college being astronomically high these days it is important for professors to make it worth your investment. Holly does this. Well designed course. Her lectures are high quality and I can tell she is really into this stuff. Her lecture feels like a Ted Talk.

Hapke is an excellent lecturer. She engages a large classroom (whether you're in person or not) and makes this course VERY easy. There is not a lot of homework, it boils down to a few exams, showing up/livestreaming the lecture, and a few connect assignments. Amazing instructor and an excellent human. Professor Hapke has very entertaining lectures and there are only a few assignments due a week. The exams are hard and worth a good portion of your grade so I suggest taking notes on the lectures and making a Quizlet, give yourself at least 4 days in advance to study!! Aside from the exams everything else is pretty much common sense.

She was a wonderful professor, She knows about rate my professor and try to learn based on that. She did fix some of her grading where her Exams don't affect your grade too much. I've failed all her exams 60 or lower but I still have a B in the course. The Exams are a pain though, don't really line up to what she gives us.

She is really nice and kind, I would say her exams are difficult and sometimes don't align with review that she gives out. I would say read the packet that she gives and the under set and everything on the review videos, but don't only rely on it.

Hapke as a professor was good shes sweet and funny. For the class its hybrid which was good for me because if I couldn't make it I can just join online. Pay attention and take notes the homework is really easy. The exams on the other hand don't always align with what she said would be on also there are no review materials besides a ta review video.

Professor Hapke is nice; however, the exams usually don't align with the lectures/ guided notes. It's hard to do exceedingly well in this class because of that. Not the worst class, but know it's almost impossible to study for everything on the exams.
