Very nice women, its a intro to psy course, dont expect to learn the entire textbook in one sems. She teaches only what you need to know. Take her class.

Really good teacher!!..Do the study guide you will Ace her tests!!..Very down to earth!

Each week she assign a chapter AND give an outline of the chapter. Each class she would read part of the outline (sometimes she would elaborate slightly on interesting cases/stories). The test was EXACTLY the same as the outline. She was always late or taking really ridiculously long breaks in the middle of class. This is the class for people who want an easy A. If you are really into psych & its your major take it with someone more challenging.

She is the best teacher for PSY 203. By far. I did so well in her class that I could get a zero on the final and still have an A for the semester. Everything written about her here is true. A++

Prof. Hilary exams were very easy if you just use her study sheet.Her study sheets are basically the whole exam.She is also never on time so don't bother being early.

Excellent!!! I loved this class...

Absolutely awesome teacher! i have her for the winter session, and not only is she a blast to listen to but there are no papers. 4 tests, lowest grade dropped and she gives out study sheets with exactly what is on the test but it does help to read the book. she is also really cool to talk with and will help you with anything! i def recommend!!!!

This professor is really awesome! If you attend class, read the text, and review the study sheets you are sure to do very well. In class discussion, it is amazing how she effortlessly sums up material in the order it appears from the text. She also provides relevant information and life-experience concerning the business world and psychology.

Prof. Hilary is unique, she may be late but always on point with her material. Her tests are fairly easy if you fail her class its really your fault. She will also answer any questions you have prior to the test. She is great I highly recomend her.

Best Prof!! very easy the test are the study guides. If you do the study guide you will ace the tests. Take her 3 hiour class once a week and you will spend majority of the time on a break and about an hr of her teaching. she would always show up late and then give us an hr break in the middle and let us leave early.

Quality is much more important than quantity in Dr. Hilary's class-it's not about taking an extraneous amount of notes or reading each word of every chapter. Her goal is just to make sure you thoroughly grasp the material. If you are looking for a professor who really tries to help students enjoy and do well in class, take a class with Dr. Hilary.

Prof. Hilary is a definite A. You get no HW , Test are straight forward just review your review sheet she gives and you should ace her exams. She is funny and clear. I recommend u take her class. Had her for both general and industrail.

Very sweet lady. There is no hw and the tests are multiple choice and she gives a review sheet which is basically the test. The only thing is that many of her notes are slides for the projector and some topics she doesnt discuss. But most of them are in the textbook. if anyone wants to take psych101, id definately recommend her! =)

I recommend Dr. Hilary's PSY203 class to anyone even remotely interested in psychology. I found the class very intriguing, and I have learned quite a lot. She seems to be very interested in her material, and teaches with enthusiasm and spirit. The tests aren't a problem since her study sheets almost guarantee an A on every one (just do them!).

I feel she was a great Professor. She knows what she talking about and she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Her exams are easy too, basically just do the reveiw sheet. If you are looking of a good psychology teacher, she is prefect.

Believe all the hype written here! She is smart, informed and the course is cake. Study the sheets and ace the tests! The notes given in class are put in the terms given on the tests. Prof. Hilary does a great job preparing you for tests by providing study sheets that practically guarantee an A when studied. She teaches the course with enthusiasm and her use of movies as examples of psych is very entertaining. I would definitely recommend this class with Prof. Hilary.

Excellent Professor. She is a model teacher!! I absolutely recommend taking a class with her!!! Easy A also, as long as you study what she assings, the so-called study sheet. You even get bonus questions in the test. If you don't really get an "A" in this class is because you don't study for the tests or you're slow!!!!!!

Dr. Hilary is a great teacher. She is precise with her information and conveys it in a style that is easy to understand and put to good use. I am actually sad for her class to end. I have learned a lot and look forward to working with her in the future.

She's passionate about her field and actually has professional experience in it. And yes, the tests are basically the review sheets she gives out. For those who say she's too easy and the class is BS; all psychology classes are easy and BS, that's why it's consistently ranked the easiest undergraduate major. It has nothing to do with her or NCC.

Really nice professor, interesting, helpful, she pretty much dictates the whole class, taking notes is not really important, just listen. Make sure you go over the review sheets for every exam, everything is right out of the textbook, very organized text. You do that and ace her exams. She's a pretty good looking woman too.

Great Professor. She knows what she teaches. She hands out a study sheet in the beginning of the semester and after each test. READ the text and use these review sheets, they are the test! Her classes only cover about half of the sheet but the whole is on the test. Just sit and enjoy the class but do the sheet, she really is a pleasure to listen to

She is an awesome teacher. My class was intro to psych or gen psych. She dosnt give papers for you to do. Answer all the questions on her study guide from the text book thoroughly and read your answers over once or twice and you will do fantastic, on her multiple choice tests. I got an A in the class. Professor Hilary is as fair a teacher as you will come across. The class consists of attending lecture, reading a textbook, and then filling out the review sheet for the tests. If nothing else, do these three things and it'll be smooth sailing from then on (She'll be the first to tell you this.) I'd recommend this teacher any day of the week.

Great class to take for winterterm. She gives breaks and goes over just about everything on the tests in class. Tests couldn't be easier (everything is right on the study guide!) If you read the text before class you may be bored in class.

Her class is very easy. She allows a drop grade so if u average good with your first four test u don't have to take the final.However, she goes off topic often and really only goes over 5 topics on the worksheet based on the test so you need to use the text. This somewhat makes the class slightly boring definitely for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

You couldn't possibly ask for a fairer professor! No hws, no presentations. Just take notes, READ textbook, STUDY the review sheet! Every ? will be on the test! If 2 many ppl get certain questions wrong u get points back, if a question wasn't on the textbook u get points back even if u did get those questions right! Plus u get a chance to get 12 extra points to any test if u do the extra credit (a reaction paper of 1 page & 1/2 on any I/O psych article) & she drops lowest grade! AWESOME PROF =D

Great teacher! She's one of those professors that actually likes to teach. Explains all materials using everyday terms and examples. She made Lifespan easy to understand and interesting. I didn't even need to study much because almost everything she taught stuck with me the first time. Take any class she teaches, you won't regret it!

Eh...She is amazingly fair with her grading policy, gives really great review sheets. On the other hand she flips her hair every 10 seconds which can be very annoying and brags alot about her dissertation,tries wayy to hard to be funny.Takes forever to get to the point. Absolutely phenomenal professor and person! As stated, 4 tests. You're given a review sheet at the start of each unit, all answers are easily found in textbook. Each ques/ans is a question on the test, that's all you have to study! She is incredibly gracious with rewarding extra points, always drops the lowest test grade. I already miss her class!

Such an easy professor. 4 tests - if you get an A on the first three you don't have to take the last one since she drops the lowest grade, but she still wants you in class. Instead of taking attendance she passes out a sign in sheet, but not everyday so you might be able to get away with absences. No hw. Tests are the samee as the review sheets.

Holly Hilary is absolutely amazing. I didn't really care about Psychology until I took her course and fell in love with it, and it was because of the way she taught. She was always so cheerful and funny and wanted to do everything she could to help her students get a good grade. Be nice to her, she deserves it.

Professor Hilary exercises teaching methodologies designed to "teach" the student in a clear, concise and organized format enabling the student to easily learn the material. Her test prep handouts are point specific in relation to the test material. Her instruction is invaluable.

Some students do not realize they are in college. The lecture and textbook supplement each other meaning you have to read. The study guides are meant for you to go through yourself and ask questions, which she thoroughly explains. With a study you still need to study. She does not cram information in.

Been at ncc for a few semesters always did well in all my classes just from reading the text book alone but in this class the professor has a unique way of reinforcing information honestly cool way, and taking this class will earn you knowledge that you wouldn't get from another professor reading word for word from the text book,

I liked her class because I wasn't constantly bored as I am in other classes. She talks about interesting topics in relation to the course material. When it comes to exams she makes sure you are prepared and have all of the material that will be covered.

I've had Professor Hilary for psychology 101 and lifespan of human development. She is a great teacher who always keeps you engaged. Professor Hilary provides you with review questions which if you read the book to get the answers and study them then you should get an A. She doesn't just give you the answers, she teaches you. Professor Hilary is pretty clear-cut. Total4 Tests(EASY), each have a study guide based on the 4 chapters. Study guide can be VERY similar to the tests. Drops the lowest grade. If your average is an A, it is not necessary to take the last one. She can be unorganized but just study the study guide. It is pretty simple. Best thingGIVES POINTS BACK!

Easiest A I've ever received. Just buy the textbook, do the worksheets & participate by nodding your head, then your guaranteed to past . Enjoyed her .

She give no homework, no quizzes just 4 test and you can drop one test grade. she funny and very clear when explaining things

Took her my very first semester at NCC in 2011. Very nice teacher who explains things clearly and is there for you. Not too many tests, only 3 or 4, if I remember correctly, and drops the lowest grade. Not much hw, just get ready to read. Gives out review sheet which is a big test-study help. Take her and get at least a B!

Prof. Hilary is hilarious. There are 4 test and the lowest gets dropped. They are all multiple choice. She gives you a review sheet for each test. Her lectures are easy to understand and she adds her humor to it. Such a nice teacher. She smells good. The textbook is easy to read and very engaging. It is also cheap compared to the other texbooks

You can clearly see that Dr. Hilary loves her job because she always comes to class happy with lots of energy. She cares about her students and she wants them to do very well. She does not only explain book definitions but she always gives real life examples which makes material more understandable. She is a person to remember forever. LOVED IT.

She is awesome. She gave my class a clear grading policy. 90% tests and 10% participation. She is so sweet, kind, and caring. The tests are easy. She gives you a review sheet before the exams and the test is exactly the same as the review sheet. I would recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Hilary is awesome! Excellent professor. Review sheets are clear and course is not difficult at all. Reading is expected but not difficult. Professor tends to cram a bit near test time but, she reviews the day of the test which is very helpful. Best thing to do is to attend and complete the review questions and study those! Can't lose.

She's an amazing teacher, definitely understands if you have any types of problems and being late isn't too big of a deal if you do it here and there. Didn't give a midterm or a real final. Final acted as if it was just another regular test.

When you look up the reviews for professor Hilary you will consistently see easy A, easy class blah blah. What more students should mention is how great professor Hilary is involving her students in every lecture and making the class fun to learn about. I HATE PSYCH. She used current events in her lectures and she CARES about her students!

I took her for a winter class and I made the exception to write her this review because I usually won't go out of my way. She's personable and her tests and very straight forward. If you put in the effort, she will give you 110% in return. She's only there to help you and share her wealth of knowledge in her work

Best class I've taken so far at Nassau. Her lectures (while long) are extremely interesting, and the fact that she assigns no real homework allows you to take active interest in actually learning the material. You'd have to try really hard to get a bad grade with her.

You have 4 tests and she drops the lowest grade. She also gives a curve! I knew nothing about this class and managed to get a B! She's a great professor.

Really great teacher, very nice person. only downside is if you take her once a week the lectures are long but she's generous with the length of break she gives. really easy/laid back class though. no papers, no quizzes and the only homework are review sheets that she doesn't check; they are just for your benefit so you'll do well on the 4 tests.

I had a three hour class and they were long, but she made it fun while teaching psychology. She gives you one drop grade, so you end up with 4 test grades at the end. She is a very laid back and easy teacher, but i do recommend doing the review sheets because they are literally the test questions being giving to you.

She's awesome ! She gives points back on every exam, her test are NOT hard it's 90% straight from the study sheet, you will have to read your text book to get the answers to the study sheet. Best professor ever truly cares, make life easier when going to nursing, a guarantee A if you just study the study guide two says before the test. She makes it easy to learn, the test is the study guide, sounds too easy, it is, but you actually learn. If u just listen in class and finsish ur test review sheet u do fine. Test is literally the review sheet. Ur not forced to do homework, participate, read out loud, no projects or presenting.

Best professor ever. She gives you a study guide & that's literally the test. If you study the study guide you'll get an A. First test there's 10 extra credit points that apply to your 2nd lowest test grade because she drops the lowest test grade. If your going for nursing, she is a must take. It's an easy A towards your prerequisites. MUST TAKE!!!

Excellent professor not only do you learn in class but relate to real life situations she made my day better in lecture she's funny and gives review sheets for the test and wants you to do well you have to try hard to fail her class. She is truly amazing and changed my life to motivate me to go to graduate school! give her more hours!

Awesome professor! Words can't even begin to articulate her excellence because it would be an insult. She makes it VERY easy to understand the material. I've come back to school to pursue a second care and already have a masters degree and I can honestly say she's is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I took prof Hilary for my first semester of college knowing I wanted to be a psych major, her course only motivated me even more. Wonderful professor. Lectures are practical and applicable to our personal and professional lives. Amazingly articulate, interesting, funny. Tests are based on lectures. No suprises. If you study hard and listen to the lectures, you do very well. And its easy to listen because the lectures are so interesting and relevant.

She taught the material with ease. She was very clear and straightforward, indicating she knew the material very well and how to present it. Her lecture style was excellent and entertaining. taking this summer class with Dr. Hilary was a smart decision. she is super nice and so clear on class expectations. because it was a summer course a bunch of material is crammed into four weeks but if you read the textbook and do her review sheets it is guaranteed you will get a good grade in her class

Grade is made up of 4 multiple choice tests. She gives a study sheet for each test (questions which will be on the test) out and every class goes over it. The class is just a lecture and her going over the study sheet giving the answers. Test is fair and she always gives extra points on tricky questions. Offers 2 extra credited written assignments

I took this professor for my PSY203 class. Study guide is the exact same questions on the test. Just do the study guides and show up to class its an easy A. You really don't even need to pay attention much once you study the study guide. Classes were interesting though, I truly enjoyed this class. Wish I could take her for PSY216.

Great professor, however the study guide makes the class and lectures pointless. Just use the 4 study guides for the exams and you can literally pass this class in a week if option was avail. No homework. Answers to study guides were already on the internet. No studying required. Just memorize terms on study guide 5 mins prior exam and get an 90+

She is the best prof i have had here at ncc. Every test is 50 multiple choice questions which she gives a review sheet for with the exact same questions. Definetly need to read the textbook to pass. Do the review sheet, study it and its the easiest A you will ever recieved never got anything lower than 98 on my tests. and she drops the lowest one.

Professor Hilary was one of my favorites. She is so warm and kind, and she really helps you understand the basis of this course. If you study your study sheet, READ the chapters and ask questions about what you're unsure of, you will have no problems passing this class. I looked forward to every class!

This is a professor I will never forget. Her class was fairly easy because she made learning all about an in class experience. She assign study guides similar to all her test and you can finish them based off class notes. Highly recommend taking this course!

Such a sweet teacher. She talks a LOT during lectures but I honestly found it fun. She has a lot of energy and is VERY understanding and accommodating. I found her very easy to talk to when it came to personal things. She posts power points of all info needed to know for notes and tests, and everything on the test is on the notes so it's easy.

I personally enjoyed Prof. Holly's class. I was never bored. She made the class fun and provided me with the tools to get a good grade. There is a lot of reading but she gives clues while giving the classes that can be used for the tests. She likes participation. She asks a lot of questions to make sure you understand the material.

I absolutely loved this prof! Please take her if you get the chance. Her lectures are very informative and participation is a breeze in her class, she allows everyone to chime in with thoughts. Best psych prof.

Prof Hilary is very funny and has fun lectures. Just be aware that your grade is comprised only of 3 test grades (there are 4 tests, she drops the lowest grade). I went in with a positive outlook because I had taken AP Psychology in high school, but she definitely rekindled my interest in psychology. It's incredible to be lectured by someone who is actually enthusiastic about the field and gets you engaged with what you're learning. She provides you with study materials, the textbook, and the lecture slides
