A very kind teacher who specializes in communicating with others. Her classes were always engaging; we sometimes got in groups and shared our writings in what she called workshops. We had to write four papers and ten journals across the semester. Would definitely recommend for English.

This professor is great for anyone who needs a humanities credit and an easy 'A'. She gets a bit stale sometimes, but her class is extremely interesting. Dr. Masturzo's Humanities class is an easy A. At each class she gives a journal. There are two papers and no final. She can be a little dry and monotone, but she is very nice and attentive. Her classes are a little different, maybe even "out there" but just entertain her ideas and youll do fine!

Easier grader ever! 2 papers, 1 presentation, 1 group assignment, and about 15 journals is all u do. Journals only have to be a paragraph. The assignments might seem kinda weird at first but she explains everything very thoroughly and is always willing to help with anything. One of the nicest teachers I've ever met! Almost a guaranteed A+.

Prof Masturzo is a good prof. She encourages you to think and lets you pick topics to write about. She is sort of out there but none the less her class was good.

Mrs.Masturzo is an excellent teacher. Attending class is not mandatory but in order to get a good grade you will need to attend. You have to keep a journal and if youre not there you wouldn't know what to put in the journal. I even turned in a couple of assignments late an she gave me credit for them. Dr. Z is open-minded & her teaching method allows the students to do the same in class. The text book is SUPER HEAVY & its required for 2 assignments only. Altogether, the class includes daily journals, 2 papers, & a small, fun, easy group project. All of the assignments are very simple & self-engaging. Come to class, participate, & pass with an A!

It took me a long time to really figure out what the purpose of her class was, and I used to hate going cause we didn't learn much. VERY easy class. Dr. Zo is a great woman though, very, very lenient. No excuse for not getting an A in this class. Journal entries every class, otherwise your grade is made up of two papers. Reccomend.

Two essays, I think 20 journals, one small project, a class project, a book that didn't require any work really, and ALOT of discussions. Majority of the time in this class I just played on my phone and she didn't care. Basically I was seen and not heard, but still did my work

She assigned 3 journals (with about 10 in each), 2 little projects (that are simple and enjoyable), and 2 in class essays, and then you revise one of those essays for a research paper. I didn't get less than a 90 on anything. She allows you to learn by participating. She almost forces you to be creative, which I had no problem with.

This class is about as easy as an online class can get. You don't have to buy a book which is a money saver. You have one discussion and 2 written assignments a week but they are very short. Art and history don't thrill me, but this class was more than bearable. If you need a humanities class for your degree, this is a good one.

Took the online course and learned a lot surprisingly. It was a very easy class that didn't require much time invested outside of work. There's two projects at the end of the course that will require an hour or two of homework but that's about it. Great for working adults.

She just wants you to put some effort into thinking critically and analyzing the reading materials. As long as you do that and submit your stuff on time it is a very easy class.

In the 8 week class there are online journals due each week. 2 big papers (1000 words) and 1 group project at the end for the final grade which is easy and done in the classroom. I enjoyed this professor and would definitely take her again.

Try not to miss class. There will be Journal entries that you must complete. DONT PUT THOSE OFF. I found some of the coursework kind of vague. Be sure to show up for the in-class essays, those are worth 100 points each. Pay attention and COME TO CLASS and you should do fine. I missed some assignments, so I got a D in the class. It was an okay class, and there weren't very many assignments. That's cool if you get an A every time but if you mess up bad on one assignment, it will bring your grade down for the whole semester since there isn't room to make up for it. She is really into group interaction and deep thinking, so you'll have to be outspoken in class.

Although I really enjoyed this class and the professor gave good feedback on essays and writing opportunities, I do feel like it was an "easy" class. If you want an easy A than this class is for you, but if you prefer a professor that is going to push you, I would seek elsewhere. Other than that, Professor masturzo was super nice and helpful!

Since it's an online class expect a good amount of work. Mostly consisted of discussions, journals, 3 quizzes, 1 cultural analysis paper, major figures report and final is a manifesto. Masturzo is honestly one of the easiest humanities teacher. There are 10 journals which are only page long and as long as theyre on topic, youll get a 100. You dont need a textbook and there are no quizzes, but some papers and projects. Love this class and her breathing exercises.

Such an easy A for one of my last electives to take for my AA! I was worried about this class but as long as you do the work, she gives you a 100 if you meet the criteria and have a BASIC understanding for the material.

There's a bit of writing and critical thinking involved in the class but as long as you stay on top of it and do the journals/papers as she assigns them you'll be fine. There's nothing really hard about the class (unless you don't like writing or being engaged in the course) and its actually pretty interesting if you're interested in the subject.

Dr. M is a great online teacher, I took her class in a 7wk course and don't get me wrong there was a lot of work. 10 journals about 700 words a piece, 6 discussions about 300 words a piece, and 3 fairly easy projects. She is not a harsh grader and if you actually put an effort in you will do just fine in the course.

Took the America 1900's Era course. The material is what you would expect: Cultural complexity (Native Americans, Black Americans, Women's Rights, etc.), types of art (Realism, Naturalism, Modernism, etc.) and so forth. Journals are two part responses requiring at least 200 words per response and the final paper requires at least 3 pages.

So I recommend her class because it's easy, and she's very forgiving on grading if you're late (she gives you an extra week before it locks) and the assignments are easy and pretty much the same or they were for my class in Fall of 2020. I recommend her class for everyone, very interesting.

I took her accelerated online WST2010 class and I'm so happy I did! Assignments are clear, grading is generous Expect a lot of writing, however it never felt like too much. I took it with Anatomy/Phys 2 and another elective and wasn't stressed. I genuinely feel like I learned more real history in her class than I ever did K-12. Highly recommend!

There is a good reason why I have taken this professor for three classes now. She gives easy A's while allowing for thought-provoking conversations. There is a lot of writing in her classes, but they are always very easy. She is very caring and understanding.

It does not require a textbook but is recommended. Free online versions are available. Strict on plagiarism, so be mindful. Gives good feedback.

Professor Zo is a great professor. Her class is very easy. The only thing I dislike is assignments are due every Wed. & Fri. at 5 P.M. Assignments are open ahead of time, which give you enough time to complete them. Just make sure you cite everything when writing your journals/final paper. She use turn it also. I think that Professor Masturzo is a great professor. She is very kind, helpful, and gives lots of great feedback. The course is a lot of writing though. But if you try you should do fine, and she gives good feedback to help you improve.

Dr. Zo is an awesome professor! She gives good feedback and responds to emails quickly. If you do the reading then the journals that go with those readings, you'll do fine. The class content was very interesting from start to finish. Definitely recommend her class and would pick her as a professor again.

Best professor I've ever had! This is my second time taking her class (different classes), and she has been great all around, I have zero complaints! 110% would take her again!

Absolutely loved taking this class with Dr. Zo. A very sweet and caring professor. This course was very easy and low-stress on top of taking more stressful classes. Journals are due every week, discussion boards every couple of weeks, and a final paper at the end. I'd highly recommend this class to anyone with a busy schedule!

This professor gets a 8/10 from me. Her class was very easy and her grading is very clear. When it comes to journals and discussions make sure you read her instructions carefully about analyzing art/artifacts. There was 1 play and a paper we had. No tests. Be mindful, you need to be a relatively good writer to receive good points.

She is a good professor and leaves good comments on papers, a lot of reading so if you don't like that then take a different class. Huge final paper at the end so make sure you study and work for it because it counts a lot towards your final grade, overall valid teacher.

Be prepared to write, write, write. There are discussion posts and journal entries every week and two major papers and you must be very in depth with your writing. If you do not like analyzing artifacts this is not the class for you. Do not forget to cite your sources both in text and out, she pays very close attention to those citations.

Dr Masturzo was super nice and her assignments were somewhat time consuming but they're super easy. There's no tests and there's only 2 essays.

I learned a lot in her class! If you are interested in this subject, you'll love it! The material we covered was always thought-provoking and interesting. Weekly 250 word journals, discussions, final creative project, and 4-6pg analysis research paper. Strict on late points, but pretty easy and very fast grader. She is really caring and nice.

The professor was very nice. If you're taking her class online, be prepared to do a lot of self-learning. There is a lot of reading but she makes assignments interesting if you're truly interested in Women's studies. She's a great professor who truly cares for her students. She does strictly follow the syllabus

Dr. Zo is phenomenal! A lot of reading and papers but she teaches in a way that is very intriguing and informational. You won't be bored in this class. Gives great lectures and grades fairly.

Second class taken with Dr. Zo and my rating remains the same - 5 stars across the board. Gives amazing lectures and if you're interested in learning women's history, take her class. Very informational. She teaches great - you will have a lot of reading and homework, but she grades fair and gives plenty of time to complete it. Would take again.

Dr. Zo's class has a heavy writing load, but using Unstuck study ai alongside the readings can make it manageable. Grading is clear, and she's helpful when you engage.

Amazing professor, she truly cares for this subject and for her students. She accepts late work and only wants to see you succeed. There were many homework assignments, and they are do-able; and she is willing to work with you and help with any questions or concerns. Communication matters, 10/10 would take her again.

Dr. Zo is okay for me. She can be intimidating at first but she slowly softens as the semester goes by. Lots of writing and analysis involved in the writing assignments which eventually accumulate to a research paper. She does give some tips and tricks on improving your writing and analysis skills.

I have taken this professor for multiple courses at FSCJ and will always recommend her. Always takes passion in her teaching which is rare to find. There is a lot of course work but it's impossible to fail unless you genuinely do nothing. 100% suggest you take her for a course especially it's a topic that interests you.

Great professor ! Very clear in what she expects, understanding when life happens and things are late. I wish all online teachers were like her.

I took Dr. Zo for PHI2010 (Philosophy in the Humanities), and I think it was a fantastic course, but I should warn you that if you're not particularly keen on lots of reading, writing, and analysis, you may have a difficult time. The coursework can be overwhelming, but she has a 7-day late window, and she is generous with late point deductions!

While the Professor is very thorough on what her expectations are, you will need to read the material and do the work, she expects hand written assignments to be completed throughout the semester. She provides detailed instructions, and has a one week late policy which can be helpful for busy lives.

Straight-forward class with straight forward coursework. Definitely involved lots of writing, but once you find your rhythm the class goes smoothly. Very generous grader and great teacher overall.
