BORING! The Class is run like a 5th grade.
Don't take this class with her..she's CRAZY!! Doesn't update you with grades..
This lady doesn't know how to teach..gives pop quizzes..she's very weird!
she is a little out there, but i think she is cool.
She's a little out there, but is pretty easy
No Comments
she has this weird strategy of teaching..she doesnt keep us to date w/our grades
As long as can stand to stay in class the pop quizzes are easy-just hard to stay
Study and you'll get an A. She freaks out in class.
Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad teacher. Had her for Thursday nights, dreaded goin. She is really really weird.

kinda weird, but what drama teacher isn't? one of the better teachers for this class
I really liked her. She's new, and large classes are hard to teach. But everytime I needed help she really made an effort! If you are willing to study, you WILL get a good grade. She's not a tough grader. I liked her lectures.
strange lady, tests are kind of hard, so boring...buy a gameboy
Drove me crazy. CRAZY. Two classes with her...no more...crazy!
The woman is crazy and boring. I was a theatre junky before taking this class and she completely turned me off to the subject in general. She doesnt keep you up to date on grades, but if you can stay thorough the class the quizzes are easy but staying isn
Instructions for this class: Sit down, shut up, use sparknotes for the book quizzes, see the plays asap., stay the whole class even though its boring, quizzes at the end but she'll trick you, tests are on key words & play books
She's a very mean teacher, who is uninterested in being helpful or polite! Do NOT take her!
She has a great sense of humor & makes class fun. She knows the material & conveys it well. A lot of material is covered, but it is not hard stuff. I would take her class again. She really is not a nut. :)
She expects alot.......and don't come late, but it's a fun class, and my teachers cute!
Not good, boring and weird, take another class instead..trust me
It's your typical theater class! Lots of info, lots of loud mouths, and you can count on a quiz to make sure your payin' attention! I'd take the class again.....
This class was aweful!!! I love theatre, been a performance student for years, she was completely crazy. Absolutely anal about assignments, has no control whatsoever over her class, spends an entire semester teaching absolutely nothing. DO NOT TAKE!!!!
she is a little 'out there', but she is okay. The class is easy if you either read books, or get cliff notes. Study for exam, they can be a little tough. If you go to class , do what is expected, you'll get an A. It isn't a hard class, just don't be lazy
Terrible Teacher! Seemed very bitter, loses things, not good about giving back grades. GO TO CLASS she loves pop quizzes. Not hard if you read the plays, and complete all outside assignments. Just boring take cinema survey instead.
fair w/class. makes info interesting. would take this class.
Take this class! She makes lectures interesting and is available for extra help. Fun topics
She is somewhat "out there", both in personality and her methods of teaching. However, she is VERY nice when you talk to her one and one and if you have a problem with something or need an extension she is pretty fair about it. Boring class th
She is wacko!! But the class is easy. Boring but what do you expect from any elective class. Best choice for the feild. I would suggest taking JJ as a professor if posb.
Wonderful instructor & easy person to talk with. I would take another class from her.
Crazy as hell, but semi funny. Her class was really easy. She is somewhat psycho, but hey, you gotta make theatre class fun some how
This class was pretty easy but the teacher is defintely a wacko. The class itself is incredibly boring, and she gives quizzes pretty much all the time so its difficult to miss classes.
It's a full classroom! She manages to convey a lot of information to a hell of a lot of people! READ the text!.......you'll get a quiz, but they're pretty easy. The teacher is HOT too!
I really disliked this class. Her expectations were unreasonable and she seemed incapable of controlling her class. Though her zeal for theater is commendable, half the time it seemed like she didn't know what she was talking about.
Her class is a joke, she's a joke, I got by without paying attention so I suppose it's easy, but she's quite possibly the worst teacher I've had. And she thinks her class is great too...
she is insane...but if you do good for your project you should be fine...but be prepared to be completely bored she always has her ta teach because she cant

this class is so cool! The instructor has such energy and has personal experience in her field. Interesting!!!
Breezy class
If you have the chance, take this class, it's fast pace adds fun to the class. No long boring lectures, you can really get involved.
isn't very nice to students and gives a lot of pop tests
this lady is crazy! She has no control her students and is always allowing the ta or varios group presentations to run the class. sure she loves theater but i dont know many people who love her class.
This women is off her rocker. Ca-razy if I ever met one. Haven't learned a thing in that class all year.

out of her mind
very closed minded, and very very feminist

trust me, youv'e got to take this class!
She was rude, unhelpful, yelled at one girl, assigned our seats (there is 300 of us) and treated us like idiots. By far the worst teacher I have ever had. Doesn't have control of the class, disrespects students, and refuses to listen. DON'T TAKE HER.
she sucks!!! do not take her, you will learn nothing and be bored for the duration of her class.
Horrible teacher. Very bitter and angry at the world. Says that getting in a horrendous car wreck is still not an excuse to miss class. Breathes into the microphone. Sits a 300+ person class in alphabetical order. Do not take her, wait for cinema survey.
This lady is a crackhead! I went to every class and did everything that you are supposed to do, and somehow I didn't get an A. She loves pop quizzes, and make sure you do good on your presentations. She doesn't lecture! Read the book!
She does not lecture...group presentations make up 80% of the class. When she reviewed for the final...nothing she went over was on it, even the questions she read to us wernt on the exam. avoid.
She might be a good actress, but the lady cannot teach for anything. It's like she assumes everyone in the class is as in love with theatre as she is, and she ends up losing you in her train of thought. Her GTA did a better job than she did.
wonderful class, wonderful instuctor!
The lady is boring as hell and she expects you top love the art of theatre as much as she does. She might be a good actor but a horrible teacher, he GA does better than she does. And don't miss a class because she doesn't care at all, even if you weresick
This lady is a nightmare. I signed up for her theater survey class and i had to escape half way thru, thank god i got home in time cuz it was last day to drop. I was a in her class for a total of 20 min. and i was already depressed. You shouldnt take her
What a ****!! I wouldn't recommend this class to anyone -- no matter how desperate you are. I did fine in her class, but making myself go to it was the hardest thing ever. She makes this gen ed class a lot harder than it needs to be. DONT TAKE IT!!!!!
She is boring and cannot control her class to save her life. Fairly easy though you need to go to class b/c she gives many quizes that add up.
She wount help you at all if you need it. He grades come from the top of her head.
Im not a theater major and this class was really easy but I would literaly leave this class with a migrane. there is so much "dead time" in this class. It took us 3 hours to get through 4 presentations that were only supposed to be 20 minutes lo
TAKE ANOTHER CLASS. HOLLY IS THE WORST TEACHER EVER
holly was horrible..she was so rude and wasted class time. if you dont enjoy theatre dont take the class she gives test when have the class isnt there. 2 plays out of class also. take another class
this was probably the easiest class i took but the teacher made it a horrible experience. she is the rudest person i have ever met and teaches nothing. the class was not hard but i would never have taken it if i knew what a witch she was.
i thoght it was a boring class but thats because theatre is not my thing i think she is a great teacher for the subject and she loves what she does i deffinitelt recomend the class
awesome laid back teacher. Just go to class and you'll do fine. Lots of boring plays to read, though. It's good when you can find them on Sparknotes. Really good teacher. Classes usually get out early.
Class is BORING. She goes on and on about stupid plays that nobody really cares about. Lots only take the class 2 fulfill GEP. Tests are very easy. She loves to gives pop/"attendance" quizzes when no one shows up 2 class, so be there!
Big class. Holly is a great teacher and very helpful. But some people in the class are just not interested and spoil it for everyone. I thought it was a good class, and she was only tough on the ones who deserved it. I would recommend this class.
Worst teacher I've ever had. Doesn't care about students or their grades. Talks about nothing for 3 hours, is so very boring. Tells you what to study for the tests and then puts things on there didn't tell u to study for and opinionated questions too.
the class is pretty bad-- she talks about nothing just read the book and sleep through class for the attendence grade. the plays are so uninteresting, if you did like the theater you will change your mind after these insanely boring plays
No Comments
She tells you stuff to study and adds a ton of questions that have nothing to do with anything she told you. Tests are surpriseingly hard; If you expected an easy A in this class Dont Take It!
Mcdonald is a dumb lady. She will lose your paper and claim it is your fault even though she has a grade for you. Her lectures are irrelevant to anything and the plays are horrible. Find another class and teacher. She is horrible.
Mcdonald is a horrible teacher. I got an A in the class but it was a worked for A. Find another section if you can, this lady is not a good professor at all.
She sucks. Plain and simple. I've been in theater for 9 years and the best grade i got on the test were B's. She lectures for 5 mintues on nothig once a week and then gives u the test. And don't amk me get startedon the pointless microtheme cards. worst.
I thought she was a decent teacher. The tests aren't that hard if you read the book and take notes in class. The material is very basic and easy to learn.
She wasn't that great of a teacher - she seemed confused all the time. Her tests had nothing to do with what she said would be on them. My only advice is read ALL the text and know it as well as you can...take your own notes..or you wont do good on test
She is the worst teacher. She showed plays irrelevant to anything.Everything she stressed in her lectures never showed up on tests. You also can not distinguish between fact and her personal stories. She rambles about her own life and was a terrible teacher.
Still teaching but should't be!!! One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Fire her butt!!!
Ok what you need to do, go to class, do the microtheme cards, watch the videos and know a basis about them, when she lectures about the chapters take notes and read in the chapter the things she talks about, she is so easy got a B+ easily, barely studied!
ok, first off she is the WORST teacher EVER!!! second, she's crazy and lost all of my grades, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THEM RIGHT WITH ME. so needless to say she screwed up my grade and many of my friends'. she needs to be fired... DONT TAKE THIS CLASS

Holly is a crazy lady. The class was hard. You have to show up for every class to watch stupid movies because if you dont she will give a pop quiz. You must read the whole book too in order to pass the tests. Unless you love theatre dont take this class!
Really boring teacher. I hate theater, and now I hate it more. Got a B but never did any work. Find a smart kid and cheat, its the only way to make an A if you hate theatre.

OHHHH THE BOREDOM THIS CLASS BRINGS!!! She is a NUTCASE but the class is very easy... and hey thats what we all look for
Super easy class, just scan the chapters that are on the test, have basic knowledge of the plays you are assigned to read and you'll get an A. She's EXTREMELY disorganized though and rambles about completely irrelevant things the majority of the time, so prepare for a very boring class.
Loves theater way more than she should. Don't go to class because she doesn't teach anything. What to do is this: read the chapter and the cliff notes for the plays and there is ur A or B.
Sometimes the things she says don't make sense, she is confusing in her lectures, and the play reports are long.
whatever you do, don't take this class...so boring and not a good teacher!!
Very disorganized teacher.
don't really need to go to class if you read the book. she is disorganized and a little flaky. if you try to go to her office during office hours call first because she may not actually be there.
One of the craziest people I have ever encountered. She is very off topic, and loves theater more than anyone should. Easy A as long as you read the chapters and go to the plays.
She is a little wacky, but the class is incredibly easy. She loves for you to come see her in her office and is really helpful if you do. She just wants you to put in a little bit of effort and show some interest in the class and she will basically give you and A. She is very helpful!
good teacher, she is really into acting and theatre, read materials and go to class on occasion and you should get a good grade in the class
Good teacher until she LOST MY LAST PAPER AND GAVE ME THE WRONG GRADE WITH NO EXPLANATION.
what the heck, take her.. B.S. class, go to the plays and write ur horrible paper, skim the book at least alittle and u'll be fine. Got an A and left her class early all the time. Besides u might actually get a kick out of how nuts she is
Make a friend n class and then don't go make sure your friend goes though. So she can tell u about assignments like movie reports u have 2 do. Buy the book and read it & u should be fine for the test. Don't read the play read reviews about it online & that should get u by.
RUN!!!!!! This lady is crazy! She is unorganized and lose all papers. If you do take her, make sure you have a copy of all the assignments you give her.
Take her if you want your grades to be lost!! Can be an easy A if she doesn't mess up your grade!!
I LOVE her. She is so into the subject matter and gets so excited when going over new topics. She gives freedom of speech and opinion which is more than many teachers at the university-unfortunately. Cliff notes get you by and cheat sheets are allowed on tests/exams. She allows an ease on the work load on our very busy college schedules.
Holly is a cool teacher, and her method is to make the kids teach themselves and each other, which is frowned upon at any instituition. I learned a lot in her class, though I will admit to doing nearly no work at all. Just go to every class and you'll get an A. She's crazy, but very intelligent. Plus she's got a nice ass.
TAKE IT ONLINE!!!!!!....easiest A I have ever gotten. Dont bother with the book. Do all the postings and you get 2 attempts on the test....you see the answers b4 the 2nd one ;-).....
Such an easy class. The class is all opinions, so you can't go wrong. As long as you post a comment on the given module, you get credit. Very difficult to fail, and she's very very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend her!!!
I have had holly now for a year and a half. You dont ever have to go to class, and you can talk her into giving you whatever grade you want. She says she takes attendence but both classes I took with her she lost all the attendence sheets. Just go up and talk to her after class one day, and she will give you an A+. Take this class if you want an A.
I took this course online, and this course is super easy. Test are easy and the readings are pretty interesting. You don't even really need to read the text to pass :) Easy A...
This lady is NUTS! She doesn't finish her sentences, makes pointless arguments, and degrades peoples' quiz answers right in front of the whole class. Try your hardest to get a different professor if you have her...Otherwise, your semester will me miserable.
The class is ridiculously easy but we never actually analyzed scripts. . .which is the name of the course. We spent a lot of time in groups talking about whatever. I wish we wrote papers and learned because it would've been an interesting clasas.
This was the easiest A I've ever received! I took it online, and the first 10 modules were due after like 2 months of class. we had 2 production reviews that you can basically make up as long as one is on a UCF play. You can use the book on any of the tests and the questions come right from the text. Most of the module posts are opinions! EASY A!
I took this class online and it was a joke. Put in a little time to do the work/ post discussions and you should have an A. It is basically "your opinion" and you have 2 attend 2 plays. Definitely an easy A even for people like me, totally uninterested in theatre.
If you're signed up to have her has a professor, GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN! She is an awful professor. She doesn't finish her sentences, notes are incomprehensible, and she does not keep very good track of your grades. Keep a record of every grade you receive, because come the end of the semester I assure you that you will have a dispute about it
I took this course online. It was great because you could work at your own pace (I finished all course work a month before the semester ended), but don't expect to receive grades any time soon. She doesn't really respond to e-mails, either. However, this class is the easiest A. Just attend two performances and contribute to the discussions.
Definitely take her class online as opposed to with JJ Ruscella- it's much easier. It's an insanely easy A.
I took this class online and it was such an easy A! I did all of the assignments for the whole semester in a week and I never bought the book or read any of the plays and got a 100 on the final and every other test. If your good at using google you shouldnt have any problems!
never really commented or let you know your grades, never responded to emails but i still passed...ah well
She is very disorganized and rambles about off-topic issues. But it is impossible to get anything below a B in the class. Some of her assignments are fun and different but don't expect her to have it all together.
Took this class online and its a very easy A. I could get a 0% on the final and still have an A-. So ya its pretty simple just do your work right and with some thought. Grades take FOREVER to get posted.
This class is AMAZING! Easiest A you WILL ever recieve. Take Theatre Survey online, have an opinion and you will get an A. She always responded to me, was VERY nice and helpful. If you need an easy A I cannot stress enough taking this class online, DO IT! Spent maybe 5 hours the ENTIRE semester and got an A+ : )
Don't take it online with her. She never responds to anything, takes forever to grade your assignments, and can't count your grades correctly when it comes to the end of the semester. Not an interesting class, all you do is post opinions and go to 2 plays, and 2 tests and 2 quizzes. Take it if you dont mind being screwed over in the end.
Hands down my worst professor at UCF to date. She does not teach, she tosses our information and expects you to somehow retain the tidbits. Tests were much easy since she gives it to you beforehand basically. I had trouble staying awake, and you can't keep track of your grade since grades come few and far between. Bon chance!
Don't listen to people that do not like her. I took the 2000 online. Really easy! Grades were always done with in a week of turn in date. I don't know how much I can stress how easy this class is!
I had her for script analysis. she's absolutely nuts, but the class was easy. READ THE BOOK. you can't get a thing from her lectures.
Took THE2000 via WWW. I completely agree w/ those below who convinced me to take this class- SO EASY. I finished the class (even the final exam!) a month and a half before the end of the semester. You do need to keep up on deadlines but they are well defined. I'm graduating this semester and by FAR this is the easiest A I've gotten. TAKE IT!!!
EASY!! take this if you need it as a gen ed! make sure to keep up with deadlines!!! she can seem really unorganized. get the class done asap so you dont have to worry about it all semester.
TAKE HER! basically the only requirement is that you have to see two plays and write reviews.. final is easy, just pay attention to modules.
took her for cultural diversity. Super easy! really doesn't respond to emails though, that did become an issue.
Easy class to take online. But make sure that you turn in everything on time. Even if you have issues with your computer or what not, she shows no compassion.
Cake walk. You can finish the course well in advance of the end of the semester. You can take all quizzes and exams twice and the production reviews are time-consuming but very simple and opinion-based. Overall, very easy and interesting course
this was my first online class so i wasnt sure what i was getting into. very easy to get an A. minimal work. just make sure you keep track of the due dates. she doesnt accept late work.
O M G *Usher Voice* Can we say EASY?? I'm mostly a B or C student but I got an A with her and I missed an important assignment. Since the class is online, I was finished early November. I'm definitely taking her again! Definite GPA booster!
lol i loved this class it was so easy I felt like I was in elementary school again. The only problem was sometimes I forgot I had it. lol, you can basically finish the class as quickly as you'd like. :D
If you need an A, take this class. Everything is so easy that I simply forgot this classes existed and missed a few things but still got an A. Class is online. Make sure you don't miss due dates. By far the easiest class I've ever had.
If you need an easy A, TAKE THIS CLASS! and do it online. it is soooo easy, and i agree with the comments below; i forgot i had it. i only got on to do assignments once a week. just be sure you can remember the deadlines and you're good. i didn't even read the books. the tests are so easy, and you can take them twice.
Easy class, all assignments posted at once so you can sit there and bust through it! Didn't need the books all the answers can be made up or can be found online. 2 theater reviews, 10 modules with discussion posts, 3 quizzes, 2 tests, tons of extra credit! Take her class online super easy!
Easy easy easy. Take this if you need a good grade for your GPA. Didn't know a thing about theatre and ended up with an A
Took her online class. Gave it the least attention of any of my 5 classes this last spring. Got 483/480. Pretty much a can't miss if you're taking Theatre Survey. You do need to go see two live productions, but the review assignments are super easy. The tests and quizzes are high school level.
Not that great of a class. Just look over what she wants you to post about, post it and you're done. You could finish the class right away if you had the time to do it.
I have taken Ms. McDonald for about 4 classes so far. Every single last one is easy. Im an IDS student and needed to take Art classes for my discipline, glad I took her. My GPA for this discipline ended up being an 3.75. If you have to time, sit down the first weekend and complete the whole class. Then youll have time to worry about your others!
I took this class online and it was super easy. The people in my class tried to make it more complicated than it was. You go to a play and write a theater review, post 8 discussion posts, 3 quizzes, take a midterm and final, which you have 2 chances on. I finished the class in two days in September. Don't over think and just get everything done!
I took this class online and I loved it. Super straight forward and easy. Made me like theater more than I did before. As long as you do the weekly discussions, you should be good. Tests are super easy and straight forward. The hardest part was probably the review, which still was an easy A for me. I definitely recommend her online course.
This class was the easiest class I have ever taken. I passed with a 99% You do not need to buy the book. The hardest part about this class is that you have to attend a play and write a paper on it. She gives you two chances to take the tests and quizzes, which there aren't many at all. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
took this class online. very clear as to what you need to post every week. super easy tests and you get two chances to take them. would highly recommend.
I took this class online. You don't really need the textbook, each test you can take a second time and she keeps the higher score. Assignments are easy and interesting. Very easy class.
Super easy class! EVERYTHING you need for quizzes/tests is found in the powerpoints she gives in the modules. DO NOT get the book. I read other posts on here about not needing the book, ignored them, bought a book anyway, and wasted my money. You have to attend a play and write a review. Its worth the most points in the course so actually do it.
Class is easy but not great thing when there's 300 students & have to wait a while b-4 getting classwork on a timely manner. Have to rely on GTA, prof is on FB more than on webcourse. Only 30 mins for each test & exam. Waste of my time.
I had high expectations for this class; however, nothing was graded in a timely manner, and the teacher's assistant (who grades almost everything) was condescending and knocked off points without providing any reason. I work hard to earn my straight As, and he made the whole class out to be slackers in a series of rude announcements. Beware of him.
The class was fairly easy and not time consuming. I read reviews that said you don't need the book, but you should buy the book to get an A or B. I liked Professor McDonald, but the TA answered most questions and graded assignments, which was terrible & I worried about my grade a lot. Overall, I recommend taking the class with her despite the TA.
Not an easy A but not very difficult. If you do the assignments you'll get full credit but the tests aren't easy. You get two tries but you actually need to read the book (or scan it thoroughly) to find the answers
I am a Biology major but this is my second online class with Holly and she is an amazing professor. Her classes are super easy and she is super passionate about teaching. I would take every class with her if possible. She could sure teach a few of the science professors how to teach a class!
Great professor! interested in seeing her students do well.
Super easy class. Just do the modules, short and basic assignments. Interesting. Definitely would recommend taking
Prof never answered any of my inbox questions or emails. VERY confusing instructions on all of her assignments. I just used common sense to figure out what the requirements were. Overall easy class, but lack of communication and grading takes her forever.. she never answered any of my four emails sent, nor did her TA.
This class was easy. You do several no brainer assignments, take around 3 test, and write a production review. Only hard part of the class are the test but that's most likely because I didn't have a book.
There are 3 tests, a play review, and a bunch of random assignments here and there. I did not have the book, but it would have made things a lot easier. Tests are based on chapters from the book. She does not have any specific criteria for when she's grading assignments so you kind of have to just go with your gut and vague directions.
This was a pretty easy class! There are assignments for each module with an occasional quiz. You must attend a UCF theater production, and write a review on it. Textbook is needed for exams! I did not read any of the lecture notes from the modules as everything on exams is from the textbook. If you need an elective, take this class!!
LOVED this professor. Always so understanding and willing to help. Lectures were interesting and interactive, and she was awesome. A few group assignments, but not harsh grading. Prepares you well for tests. I'm not that into theatre, but I loved every minute of this class. Gives EC. Extremely possible to get an A. No textbook needed. Amazing!!
Easiest class taken at UCF. Do not buy the books to read. 1 play review. Couple of modules with written assignments. Quizzes & midterms ca be found on quizlet. SUPER easy course.
Super easy A! Took this class online, all quizzes and tests (except the final) could be found on quizlet. But, if you read the modules then you'll be good. Not hard at all, only had to write one play review. Put little effort into this class and still finished with an A. Do not buy the books for reading! The quizzes on the books are on quizlet.
Class was an easy A. No need for textbook. You have to do one play review, which really isn't a big deal. Just go through the modules, take the quizzes that come straight from them, which you can view during the quiz itself. Spent like 15 minutes a week on the course.
Literally the easiest class i have ever taken. You would be stupid not to take this class. I got a 98% in the class. Didn't get 100 because i couldn't be bothered to retake the final to get 100. Everything is online, you don't need to buy any textbooks. TAKE HER ONLINE!!!!!!!
Her online THE2000 course was very simple. Modules are open for months at a time so you have ample time to prepare for quizzes. You have to write two production reviews which can be as long/short as you want them to but you must hit on each of the criteria listed. I hate writing but loved doing these because UCF has an AMAZING theatre program.
Easiest class ever. Everything is graded equally and you basically have one quiz every two weeks and that is it. The only time consuming things for this class are the two papers you have to write on a theater production but she grades so easily I got A's on both of them. Would recommend this class.
EASIEST CLASS EVER! A couple quizzes, 3 exams, that are all online, 2 attempts each. Also two play reviews but she is such an easy grader they are not a big deal at all. Super easy!!!!
This was the easiest class ever. There were quizzes for each model but they're all on quizlet, and if you have the module open on another tab, the questions and answers are are word for word on the modules. There were two play reviews which was easy, just buy a ticket to the UCF theatre and then write a paper about the play. Ended with a 97%
This is the easiest class I've ever taken. She's an awesome professor who posts everything you need to know for the quizzes. The only annoying part was the production reviews but there was only 2 and the grading is very lenient. Would 100% recommend taking this class.
Online; a really interesting class covers a lot of information about theater, live performances that helps the non-theater major appreciate the art. There are module quizzes, two midterms and a final. All BUT the Final may be taken a second time to improve score. 1 - 2 play reviews. Extra credit. Prof McDonald's terrific, cares about yr success
Easiest class I've ever taken in my life. If you want an easy A for almost no work, take this class. 2 essays which are production reviews after you go to a play but the grading is lenient. Exam questions are in the module pages.
Took this class online and it was extremely easy. Only a couple of assignments where you actually had to write things out. There was only one play review necessary which was the longest assignment but you have a lot of time to complete it and the grading criteria is very straightforward.
She seemed really disorganized, so knowing when things were due was somewhat difficult. The online book assignments are pretty boring for someone not interested in theatre, but they aren't all that hard.
Super easy class. As long as you don't miss too many assignments and you keep up relatively well, you will pass.
Professor isn't terribly helpful. I emailed her on more than one occasion with very specific questions and her responses were "read the syllabus" which she then signed with just her initials HM. Coursework is easy, but tedious and plentiful. Spend about an our each week on it and you will pass. Tons of EC available. Hated the class, but easy A
This class is the easiest gen ed class ever. I ended up with a 128%. Beware of the extra expenses though. The online book contains quizzes & you also have to buy another book that is incorporated in the final. If you're willing to pay extra for an A, this is a class for you.
Don't miss your deadlines and you'll be fine. You do need to buy the online book and a ticket for a play (might be able to go to a free one if lucky). All the assignments are easy and the ones in the book you can attempt twice. The play review is the major writing assignment, then three smaller assignments, and 2 quizzes on canvas. EC available
Took her class online, was super clear about her expectations but the course was kinda disorganized overall. It's an easy A
This class was super easy. Make sure you get the online textbook though that's were all your quizzes are. As long as you stay on top on of everything there is no reason you shouldn't get an A.
Easiest class I have ever taken. Finished with 105%. Super nice professor, always makes sure you're updated. One production review through the UCF theatre (small paper, just a review). Weekly textbook assignments/quizzes, super easy. Final on "Holly Down in Heaven" play, you need it to pass the final
While I never met Prof. McDonald in person, the times I corresponded with her made me feel she was a very nice person. Very hands off and, within reason, lets students take their own pace. Definitely a good elective to take. It's an easy A but you'll learn some things along the way.
Great professor! Easy A as long as you do all your homework on time and read the required text for the final.
This is a very interesting class, requires attending a live theater production with a Production Review paper, quizzes and two exams. Pay attention to the material in the modules, the quiz and test questions are taken directly from these. Really helps you develop an appreciation for live theater, and a sense of cultural awareness.
I got an A in this class! It's a pretty easy elective and can be interesting if you like the arts at all. I missed a few quizzes by accident and still did well in the course. The professor is really kind and wants you to succeed. I recommend taking her.
Currently in Professor McDonalds THE2000 course for the Summer B term. 3 short essays that you can get away with just two paragraphs literally, 1 review on a play that should be more lengthy than the other papers but was my favorite, and quizzes from the online textbook that are not on quizlet. Show up to lecture and you'll get a easy A!
Professor McDonald is amazing! There were only 4 papers total, 3 of which were only 2 paragraphs long. The theatre review wasn't hard to write, but you need to be detailed to receive a good grade. She gives out answers to the final at the end of class, so make sure to stay for those! I highly recommend taking her class.
Take her class! She is a fantastic teacher and truly has a passion for teaching theatre! There are only 4 papers and they are SUPER easy. Everything, including hw is online. She is extremely understandable and cares about her students! I suggest coming to class because she gives out the Final Answers!!!
Very easy class. Sometimes boring. Easy A.
Super easy class. You had a single paper, and then just had quizzes based off the reading she gives you.
I took her over the summer and I would recommend you take her over the summer. Literally all you had to do was show up and she would give you the questions for the final. It was a PIECE OF CAKE. I recommend taking for the summer because the online textbook is cut in half and you only have to do the quizzes and not the assignments
Took her for Theatre Survey, in the summer, super chill teacher. She is really caring and into what she is teaching. The online textbook assignments can be annoying and so is attending numerous plays; however, super easy A. If you're looking for a easy gordon rule writing class this is the one. She literally gives you the final. take in the summer
Taking theatre survey was the best decision I have ever made. I took it over summer & it was the easiest class ever. Holly is so sweet and actually makes you interested in the theatre. You can definitely learn a lot from her if you really want to!
Easiest class I've ever taken. I've logged in 3 times the whole semester and have a 98. Do yourself a favor and take this class. You really dont have to read the modules just watch the youtube video with each quiz and you get 3 chances to get a 100. You have to attend one play. Super easy grader on 4 short essays (one page). TAKE THIS.
easiest class at ucf. i took it online and finished a month early (had to wait for the final to open) and finished with an a. i didn't even read the modules, just scrolled through and took the quizzes. didn't read the play either and got an a on the final. easiest GRW grader in the world and only required to write a few short essays that were 2 pgs
This class is very simple & super easy! Her class is made up of a few papers, and quizzes. i bsd the papers & still got 100% on all of them. the quizzes are a little difficult and theyre not on quizlet so dont rely on that. each class she gives away a final exam question, which really helps in the end. overall easy A class with minimal effort
This professor hates it if the students actually need to talk with her. She was very rude and made remarks to me that I actually felt put down after. I only took this class bacuase it was a requirement . If I had know how bad she was going to be I definitely would have taken another teacher. There are only 2 or 3 major assignments in the class.
her online textbook is where u take graded quizzes, not webcourses. she doesnt tell u when attendance pts are taken so u have to go everyday, although all graded material can be done in a day. shes super annoying, lectures are pointless & she makes you get up and act. if youre taking for credit, take online. dont waste your time, money,& patience.
Take this course online! Lectures are virtually pointless and honestly just annoying. She grades attendance using Tophat, not every day but you never know when so you have to go to class daily. Assignments are easy and can all be done in one day. You dont need to read anything for the assignments, just skip to the quizzes (you get 2 attempts).
You will spend more money on this class than most other classes because you have to buy a textbook that she had written, an attendance device called TopHat, a playwright, and a ticket for a play we are required to attend. Most take this class because it is a Gordon Rule writing requirement and she can't even answer emails back using proper grammar.
She makes you buy an online textbook that she made, the quizzes on it are a HUGE part of your grade so do them. Attendance is done through TopHat (which she rarely used.. which is also kinda annoying considering you HAVE to purchase it) You do have to attend a play, and write a paper on it. Easy class but wouldn't take it again.
I took this class during my Summer B term. She gave 4 writing assignments and two online quiz sections. The writing assignments are very easy as long as you meet all the requirements in the rubric she will give you, but time consuming. You have to buy her textbook in order to do the online quizzes but they are very easy. She offered extra credits!
Little to know assignments, and her class didnt even require you to be there. One of my friends ended up with over a 100% in the class because she just gave us extra points. Honestly take this over the summer.
Took this class in the summer so it was a little easier: -no attendance system but did give out Final answers & extra credit for those that came -requires you to buy a play (30 min read) and half of the final's questions are based on it. -Randomly chooses people for discussion (don't sit in the aisle seat ) -makes you attend a play for the midterm
This was a fairly easy class with only a couple of major assignments. Loved Professor McDonald, if you show that you are making an effort and end up needing help she will make the same effort to help you
I took the online section of this course. Easy class but, why do I have to pay $89 dollars for a book that she wrote just to take quizzes in? Also, you're pretty much forced to buy the book because the quizzes are weighted so heavily.
I took this class over the summer and loved it. Yes, there was a lot of "homework" but not very challenging. The final itself was accessible at home. Easy A. SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT.
This class is annoying, to say the least. For an online intro to theatre class, a lot is asked. TAs grade the essays and grade harsher than the composition classes I've taken. They'll deduct letter grades for minor spelling/grammar errors. You also have to buy the book (that she wrote $$$), a play, as well as pay to see a show. Would not recommend.
I usually don't rate professors, but this one is a must for me. Make sure that you use your own voice when writing for this class. I made the mistake of tackling this course as I would a research based course when writing my essays. She doesn't care about the factual information , but rather what you think and feel (much to my chagrin).
Professor McDonald is horrible!! She will not accept assignments late by 1 minute and doesn't care if your grade drops! Unbelievably strict.
I took this class during my freshman year, summer semester. This class should have been only once a week for an hour. All the information given in class was easy. It would not be a big deal if you miss a class or two. I always ended up leaving an hour early. Easy Grader, just follow the rubric.
Very kind and sweet lady, cares a lot about her students. However, the class is useless. All she does is show YouTube videos. Textbook is $90 and written by her, required purchase to take quizzes. Take this class online if you can.
Very easy class if you follow the instructions. Does not accept late work. Several essays and you have to see a play and write about it. Very clear rubric so make sure to stick to that and you'll do great, but if you don't she grades very strict. Took this class online and it was a very easy A
Makes things much more difficult than they need to be. Harsh grader and unrealistic time limits on exams and quizzes.
This class was okay. This opinion stems from the fact that I only took this class to fulfill the GEP. However, I did learn a few interesting things from this class. I would say, show up to class to get information for the final exam... Its hard to stay focused because she constantly rambles and is boring. But, overall a fairly easy course.
This class was an easy A, just follow her directions exactly how she says to
Took THE2000 online to fulfill GEP requirement. We had 3 easy 1 page papers, 1 UCF play review (follow the rubric exactly to get a good grade!), 8 Unit quizzes (taken on her book/testing site), and 1 final exam. The unit quizzes were tricky but got 2 attempts. The final is based off a play you have to read and unit quizzes
Submitted her my essay through an email attachment and didnt accept it despite webcourses being down. Instantly failed me despite doing it by the deadline. Does not care about you and if it isnt perfect she will give you a 0.
You are graded on the quizzes from the online text book (easy & 2 attempts each), 3 short papers (less than 175 words), play review (have to pay to attend play, follow rubric and you'll get a good grade), and the final. Super easy and interesting class, follow directions exactly and you'll get an A.
Easy class. Just make sure you follow her exact directions on the syllabus and on the assignment because she is very strict about what she wants and will give a 0 or a low score if it's not exactly how she wanted it. I didn't really try in this class and got a high A.
I skipped the class most of the semester and still passed with an A. One of the assignments is to attend a theater production and review it, and that may be the hardest assignment of the semester, and it's SUPER easy. She is a very boring speaker, also.
Professor McDonald's online Theatre Survey class is one of the easiest As I have gotten from a class. I would definitely take it again. I didn't have much interaction with her because all the work was straightforward.
Easy A if you do the work on time, some weeks there isn't even assignments due. Highly recommend, easy grader too.
She believes she is the only professor and class that matters. she assigns about 100 pages to read a week plus extra readings online. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but with 6 other classes and work, it is nearly impossible to complete all of her required text and videos for her quizzes. and she is not very clear with directions. DONT TAKE HER
Professor McDonald is amazing! I've taken many of her online theatre electives and she's an easy A if you put in even minimal effort . A lot of her quizzes are word for word specific to videos or text, but she normally gives you two attempts. When COVID during the semester, she was extremely caring and made sure to reach out multiple times.
Horrible teacher. Very easy class but teacher was horrible
Took this class for a GEP and failed cuz it didn't have my full attention. I have more pressing classes than this. Her quizzes r easy but easy to overlook unless u take the painstaking time to read HER 30 PAGE SYLLABUS. She also expects u to write paper with ultra specific parameters; if u go even slightly outside of that, ZERO. Inconsistant too.
Very sweet professor. She is very particular on how she wants the assignments done but if you follow their guidelines this class is very simple.
Taking this class online was a breeze. Do the quizzes in the textbook and the writing assignments (there are 4) and you're golden. However, we had to buy the textbook that she wrote which I'm 99% sure is illegal because its a conflict of interests but oh well. Easy class. Do the work and you pass fine, although she was kinda annoyingly pushy
I have not spoken to McDonald once this semester, but THE2000 was beyond easy. There are 4 writing assignments and 8 units of quizzes from her textbook. She also offers 10 extra credit points if you turn in your production review a week early. You have to follow her instructions or you will fail. Also, her announcements are lowkey aggressive.
Easy class. Do the 8 units with easy quizzes. Four papers that were short and easy. Announcements are semi-passive, but you can tell it is because of her experience with students asking questions that are already answered.
This class was very easy, but make sure you turn everything in on time. There is few grades but they are simple. The professor was clear with requirements. The only issue I had was that the textbook was required and expensive, and she was the author of the textbook, which I found odd because I am pretty sure she is profiting off of that...
This class provides a basic understanding of theatre that could be achieved by just reading an introduction to theatre book one afternoon. No interaction, completely online and self taught, probably spent no more than 10 hrs on the entire course. Writing assignments are too easy, think middle school level. Just make sure to be aware of deadlines.
Easy class. Read ALL instructions or get bad grades. Reach out to her, she will help a lot with the requirements for each assignment and you'll get an A. Assignments are straight to the point. Don't overthink. Lots of (easy) quizzes, I suggest completing everything at once so you don't miss the due date. Final based on short book + course content.
Easy class - a bunch of quizzes but they take 2 minutes. 3 papers, which if you write your genuine thoughts you'll be fine. Final was easy. Everything is on quizlet. The professor seemed very uptight at first, but she's just very strict about deadlines and rubrics. Never interacted with her, though. Easy A
Seems like a nice person, but the course wasn't the most interesting. Papers were short and easy, but the longest one required watching a 2 hour play. Lots of reading with a bunch of short quizzes, but they're easy to do without actually reading the course. Quizzes are due on two days later in the semester, so you can wait to do them whenever
Very rude teacher when speaking with her and talks over you. The class is easy however this teacher is very rude when you ask her about a grade.
Honestly one of the worst teachers I have had when it comes to interactions with her students. Work is easy but due at random times, be sure to check times as there are some assignments due at 6 am or 9 am. She does not answer emails fast and is very rude in emails and announcements. Does not care about you or if you do well.
The class is fairly easy and I did it all online. Professor is a tough grader and didnt interact with students. Very unreasonable when it comes to the work and doesnt give chances to retake any assignments. You pretty much teach yourself and she grades you on what she thinks. She is very passionate about not letting you turn in anything late.
The class is super easy to complete, and personally had no problem with it. However, she is horrible to deal with when it comes to getting an extension, and will actively berate you about what it says on the syllabus. She also has the worst attitude ever, and if the class she'll send out a reminder that ends in "have some integrity". Horrible Prof
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!! She is very unreasonable and will make you feel like garbage in her email responses. She has odd due dates for assignments like 6 AM which can get confusing as most classes have assignments due at 11:59pm. I missed one major assignment in the starting of the semester due to financial issues and she did not care to help.
This professor does not care about you succeeding. Although the class itself is fairly easy, she makes it a mission for everyone to struggle. She constantly degrades the students in her emails and questions the students integrity. She makes assignments due at weird times and has no remorse for anyone who has personal issues going on.
Shes a very nice professor. This class was asynchronous so we just did the assignments. She sends a lot of announcements and is very strict with assignment criteria. She makes some of her assignments due early in the morning which is annoying, but I recommend taking this class if you need credits and an easy A.
Honestly the worst professor Ive had at UCF. She purposely makes it hard to get a good grade and then will make snarky comments at the class for not treating the course as if it were senior level. Makes you buy her poorly written book that makes no sense and will not respond to emails unless its to make a sly remark. Do not take this class.
She does not allow any late work. You fall down a flight of stairs? Too bad should've planned ahead. Everything's online so it is an easy A but pay attention to those deadlines fr.
This class was easy but the professor is needlessly critical with grading and passive aggressive. The syllabus is gigantic and feels like a terms and conditions contract. Every assignment has extremely specific grading criteria and she will take off points for any little mistake. Worst of all, we had to buy her 'interactive textbook' for $90.
I am an A-B student. Missed one work cuz got covid and another cuz finals. Just that dropped me to 63. The class is easy if you know how to write tons of useless texts and go with criteria to the littlest detail. But prof is never ready to accommodate if something comes up. No partial/late. Book with hw is 90$! Not worth it for gened class
Not very forgiving at all. All assignments due at 5pm rather than 11:59pm like most professors, messes up your planning. Very clear criteria, if misread, will not be forgiving about it. Speaks very condescendingly.
The class was very easy. There are 2 extra credit opportunities that are just based on submitting work early. Still, McDonald is not helpful and you learn nothing in the class.
Class was super easy, highly recommend for a gen ed. She is not flexible at all though with deadlines. All her stuff is due at 5pm and she can be very cut and dry in her emails. She really didn't do anything to help students succeed. Still would recommend taking it just for an easy GEP.
Four writing assignments, I did three of them on the first week of class. Then you have a mandatory "book" online to buy with all the answers on quizlet. This is all of your grade; the four writing assignments, online "quizzes" and the final. Take this class if you need the GEP, like < 2 hours per week for an easy A. Is accommodating professor too
I took THE 2000 online and it was an easy A class. There were just four papers, which I found easy. In addition, there are quizzes that you take on the digital textbook, but they're also pretty simple. The final exam was made up of only multiple choice. The only downside is the cost of the digital textbook.
This is the easiest class I've ever taken. 4 writing assignments and three of them are 1-2 paragraphs long, I got a 100 on every one. Her grading criteria is so clear, idk how anyone gets below a 100 on them. With minimal effort you can get an A in her class.
McDonald is the opposite of a "helpful" teacher. Does not care about you as a student and will give the most AI generated response if you attempt to email her. I ended the class with an 89.9 (B) and she would not round up to a 90(A). If you mess up on one assignment you are pretty much screwed since there are only about 6 assignments in the class.
The actual assignments aren't hard, but the grading policies are horrible. Asks for a lot of little details but if you forget she'll dock you several points with no chance to fix it. All assignments are due at 5 pm, and if you forget you get a zero. I forgot to do a set of quizzes and my grade dropped to a 30% and she would not let me make them up.
Took as an elective, easy class/grading/assignments, straightforward. Professor was nice enough and responsive, personally didn't face any issues. You just can't turn late stuff in without letting her know early on. Also don't think many on here know fl teachers can't make $ off textbooks they write cause its a conflict. Overall pretty easy A.
I took this class because I could not get a dorm and could not afford an apartment and i thought it would be easy. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. Sure the work is easy but she does not care about you as a person to be frank. She did change her due dates to 11:59 but she does not give late work no matter what. Honestly just stay far away from her.
She genuinely cares and is willing to work with you if you need help. The class itself is so easy too. Weeks worth of work can be done in an afternoon and the assignments themselves are really easy and help you learn. Don't procrastinate tho, one bad grade can screw you over bc of how few assignments there are. Overall, a fun super easy class.
The textbook is mandatory and most of the assignments are in it. This class was such an easy A and I would recommend it to anyone. No essays, just short paragraphs, and quizzes. Never had to worry about my grade, plus gave extra credit!
Always readily available when you email and very helpful and flexible. It seems like a lot at first but it's not as bad as it seems. No complaints, would take definitely take her again if that was my major.
The course was easy, but the professor was awful. She is not lenient with any makeup work at all. If you are sick or unable to do one assignment your grade will tank. The professor would rather see your grade drop than you be successful.
Amazing professor and an amazing class. Assignments were easy and clear to understand. Never thought I would be interested in theater but this class has sparked some interest.
I loved this class! Professor McDonald was very clear on all of her assignments and had a rubric with exactly what we had to do and by when on each writing assignment and book assignment. Overall a very easy class with around 10 assignments in total. A great GEP class to take especially if you love theatre and the arts.
She's very straight-foward about her expectations and the class has maybe 8 assignments total. The grading is really easy and as long as you put in some effort you'll be fine. I will say she's strict about deadlines and won't give extensions but the work is so easy that you don't really need any. You do have to buy an expensive textbook though.
TAKE HERR!!!! the sweetest professor ever and her class is pretty easy as long as you do work and keep up. Short writing assignments and quizzes in textbooks. So straightforward and pretty interesting too will not regret.
Easy class but she is overly strict with dealines and sets the most important assignments due at 5PM for whatever reason which is ridiculous. She is also a very disrespectul professor who does not care at all about the success of her students, she would rather see you fail than succeed. She refuses to respond to emails is disrespecful when she does
Do NOT listen to the negative reviews- Prof. McDonald is great! Those who claim she is mean have not met her in person, as she is super kind! Her messages online can sound strict but it sounds like its bc she had issues in the past with people abusing extension rules. 1 VERY short assignment due every 2 weeks- I did most the day of and was fine.
I'm not quite sure why she received any negative reviews. It's a rather straightforward class, attend one theatre play, complete weekly quizzes due after a few weeks, and do a few written assignments with a low word count. She's very active even in the online course, however very clear with deadlines, no accommodations. I would highly recommend.
Professor Mcdonald was one of the easiest and nicest professors I've ever had. There are maybe 5 assignments the entire semester and they are super easy. This is an easy A for a GEP. I also learned a lot considering her passion towards the subject.
She is a great professor, one of her TAs was a piece of ass so I talked to her to review my assignments and she was caring and stuck with her criteria so she busted my grade up, so if you read the syllabus you are fine in the class.
there is like 2 deadlines for the quizzes in the textbook and like 3 writing assignments. you have to attend a theatre play and write about it, but regardless is pretty much an easy class. did the quizzes in like 2 days for each segment and there are pretty easy and can do twice. most annoying part is 5pm deadline but u have a lot of time
Very easy GEP, need the textbook and have to attend a play but other than that, not much time spent on the class.
Unfortunately, this just isn't the class for the professor to teach. Her lack of empathy towards the small diverse group of people in the theatre program is alarming, especially those who go through financial hardship. She made a decision that held me back from graduating, even when spoken to by the dean and other faculty members. Not considerate.
Professor McDonald is an engaging and fair instructor. The class has manageable assignments, and I found unstuckstudy AI helpful for preparing for the quizzes. Overall, a great GEP course.
She lacks empathy and never excepts past deadlines. (Deadlines due 6PM?)Her teaching is awful but it wasn't a big deal for me because it's not a hard class and you can self teach yourself i just needed credit. She rather her students getting bad grades rather than them being successful and academically driven. Stay away if you can!
The class was beyond easy. Finished with 101%. Attendance doesn't matter, not much work either. She will walk around during lecture and make students respond to her questions into a mic. She clearly doesnt like her TAs and literally spent a whole class this semester critiquing them. She is a very odd person but her class is easy enough.
I absolutely loved learning under Holly McDonald. Any time I had a question she was more than willing to answer me and I never received a patronizing tone like I did with other teachers. Holly was patient, understanding, and overall just such a kind person. i recommend taking Theatre for Social Change :)
I enjoyed taking Theatre Survey, it was a very easy class and I passed with over a 100 due to the countless extra credit opportunities. Textbook is required, there are about ~30 or so online quizzes in there but if you read the book and watch the videos they're pretty easy. She is repetitive but showing up resulted in a lot of extra credit for me.
Professor McDonald was excellent. I appreciated how she gave extremely clear criteria for writing assignments, it made it very easy to get things done and not question if you were missing something. Her classes were fun and engaging. The only thing I didn't love was our digital textbook, but it's required, so I got over it. Overall, great teacher.
There is lots of information from lectures on the final, so attendance was pretty necessary though not graded. She's very friendly, though unforgiving when it comes to late work. The assignments are very easy though, short textbook reading with short quizzes and short writing assignments. Lots of emphasis on quality over quantity.
Overall, she is a very kind and caring professor. She responds to emails promptly and is always there for her students. However, the modules were disorganized, and the assignments were spaced out in a weird order.
She is really sweet and will always give you help if needed. Online easy class!
This is script analysis, we didn't really analyze scripts but she was a good and easy teacher so cannot complain.
Very easy class, attendance was not really mandatory and we are graded by a few simple essays and quizzes in the online textbook. The hardest part was attending a play and writing about it.
It's so easy, I didn't go to a single class. The entire semester's time commitment to the class was less than 3 hours, including the mandatory on-campus play. The book 'Holly Down in Heaven' mandatory for the final is really weird (so is the professor, to be fair), but it really is a free GPA class.
The professor is very tricky and make students lose their grades. The course has nothing to do but professor deducts grades for no reason.
Professor McDonald makes sure everyone knows how to get a good grade in her course and she ensures that her expectations are known from day one. The majority of the grade was from a few brief writing assignments and online textbook quizzes. She only gets the low grade because I found her lectures and most of the material pretty redundant.
Genuinely horrid professor. I've had to take three different classes with her now and I pray to god I don't have to take any more. Got an A every time. Wasn't worth the stress of having to deal with her insanity. She would always rather see a student fail than succeed. Could go on for hours, but the character limit is 350.
Easy A honestly. Professor is pretty straightforward, clear guidelines, always seemed polite/helpful with questions. Mostly quizzes and some writing assignments, all pretty easy. Read directions, turn stuff in on time and it's all pretty low stress.
While the class itself is easy, she acts like this is a 4000+ level course. Absolutely no leeway in anything, will not respond to you if you ask a question but will simply refer you back to the syllabus. This class is not that serious and she takes herself too seriously. Good for an easy A, but I hope to never have her in the future again.
Yes, her grading criteria is very clear, but wording in assignments and exams are not! Oftentimes multiple-choice questions are cryptic with no clear answer. Especially online, she comes across as very strict and harsh. For someone who loves theatre, this kind of made me hate it. Online textbook is also required $100, and written by her. Convenient
This professor made me lose hair. If i had a dollar for the amount of times she was extreamly rude in her emails I would be rich. was my most hated class as someone who is a psychology major with straight A's. I accepted my B and took the win of never having to talk to her again. also theres a $100 textbook she wrote herself that you need to buy.
This class was a very easy A, my only issues with this class was that we had to buy her $100 textbook that she wrote herself, and that we had to attend a play and write an essay on it, when I could have been studying for another class. However, this class was still very simple. Wouldn't take again though, but nice GEP credit.
Easy class, teacher is really chill and layed back on giving work
Honestly a very easy A, just get your stuff done on time. Won't let you have any extension unless you have medical reason but you have a reasonable amount of time to get your stuff done. no reason you should get anything but an A.
