Professor Guevara's class was a breath of fresh air. Not were his requirements clear his class is fun too. He's a funny guy who actually makes learning Economics fun. Who knew that Economics could actually be fun. He's also very inciteful and explains everything in a way that everyone understands.

Awesome teacher. Go to class, pay attention and study review sheet for test and you will make an A. Does require research paper on an economist 8-10 pages.

Prof. Guevara is awesome. He's really funny & laid back. His tests match the reviews exactly, which come from the book & outlines he gives you. There is an 8 pg paper (+ cover pg & works cited), but I think you have to do that for part of the course no matter who teaches.

I took this class online and it was very easy. The test reviews are exactly what is on the test. There's a lot of quizzes, just keep up with the work.

GREAT CLASS!! I took him for both micro and macro. He jokes around a lot but he presents the material very well. Took micro in maymester and the class was fun.

This teacher is great for internet.He is to the point and you know what to expect from him.He will work with you if you fall behind.You have until the end of the semester to finish all the tests and quizzes online.his powerpoint gives you all the info and the book is just an addtional resource.The book is recommeded for the graphs to take take test

I took him online and I really liked the class. There are a lot of quizes and exams but the reviews are exactly whats on the test. There are 2 projects where you read an article and write about it. Its super easy if you just do the reviews and keep up with the work.

Very easy internet course. Teacher was a fair grader and very clear with directions. Assignments were relative to the class. The exam and quiz reviews tell you exactly what will be on the test. Only 2 short magazine articles to review and format is already created. Great class!

This is an internet class on Macroeconomics. What's great about this class is that he includes discussions on current events. Quizes and Exams are relatively easy, as long as you read the chapters. I would recommend this class to anyone... it was great!

He's helpful, quick to respond, grades fair & provides an extra credit opportunity that could change your letter grade. Dr. Guevara is a very easy professor. His class was pretty basic, just show up and do the very easy homework. The homework usually was an essay about yourself and school. He's willing to work with you if you have any sort of problem. Just be honest.

Took this class online. Very organized course. You have all semester to do the quizzes and exams so it's easy to slack. Can't say that economics is easy or hard but I got everything done and made an A. I would take him again.

I took Dr. Guevara's class online. He makes this somewhat hard subject easy. There are 8 discussions that are due on Sunday's throughout the semester. His quizzes (8), exams (4), and final are exactly the reviews. I made an A in the class. I would take this teacher again.

The Online Class was very easy. Although I only got a B becuase I did not do my discussions (which were easy but my phone for not doing them, my test scores were all 95 and above) Use your Quiz, Test, and Final exam reviews. You would have found all the answers with those. All the exams will have questions from the quiz's, especially the Final.

Very easy class, took it online in the fall. Consists of three parts, Case Study, Disc. Posts, Quizzes. Quizzes are straight from the book, Cast Studies are based off info from a large essay he provides you. Both are very easy. Disc posts he is very strict on the grading. I got a A on everything besides the disc. posts, still got an A overall.

Took online. Class consisted of 8 quizzes, 4 case studies (case study was provided and you answered 3 to 4 questions about it) and discussion board postings (make sure you use his guidelines which were easy, but particular). He makes it easy to learn the material. No final. I would definately take again. Easy A if you do your work. Highly recommend

This is not an easy class. But, this professor provides you with all the tools necessary to succeed. Do the work and do not fall behind and you will do alright. I would take him again.

this online class is very flexible. do your DQs and the quizzes in time. Be sure to read the instr. for the DQs carefully for professor Guevara asks for specific details. If you have any troubles ask the prof. Get the book because it is really important to do your quiz reviews,bc the quizzes are exactly as the review.lovd this prof and easy class !

Took this Online. All assignements are posted clearly on the site. Just keep up with the assignments and you are good to go. He responded quicky to questions and emails. Would def take this prof again. Highly recommend!!

Every one says easy A but I say who cares if it's an easy A. Your not learning if it's to easy besides who wants to sit in class and listen to the BS. This is a great class for people whom just cant make it to class. There are 8 discussions and 8 quizzes. As long as you do the work and pass the quizzes, automatic A. Great instructor and reponds very quickly to emails.

Dr. Guevara is an excellant teacher and is quite knowledgeable about economics and US government. He relates class material to outside real world examples and will work with student schedules (if you e-mail in advance). Quizzes and Discussions are 80% of your grade so show up for class so you know what your doing. Easy A or B. I'd take him again...

If you are an online student, I HIGHLY recommend taking this class, he gives you everything you need to pass, PLUS no final.....I would take any of his courses in a heartbeat.

Online summer course. A discussion with 3 postings for topic of the week all based on economics due each week. Easy and makes you think. There was also a quiz on 2 Chapters each week. just read the chapters, maybe even a couple of times and examine the graphs and you will do fine. He will also give you study material online that's useful.

The most important grades were the quizzes and discussions. He provides lectures and it's very important to take notes to fill in the review, but the review and the quizzes were identical. The discussions were biweekly, and super easy, requiring three minor paragraphs. No tests and the Final was a debate. Would definitely take again!

Dr. Guevara is great, he's funny and gets the class involved about the subject. I took him for texas government and I never really liked government but he made me appreciate it more. He helped raise my final grade from a 79 to an 80. He says he doesn't offer extra credit but he's just kidding he does! Definitely recommend.

Dr. Guevara was a great professor. He was very easy to contact if you had any questions, and he had a pretty clear idea of what he wanted from every student. The only downside is that he just LOVES talking about how he's part of the CPS Energy Board of Trustees. Overall, great professor though.

I took Gov 3305 online with him. The easiest class of my life. He posts every week, one week it will be two quizzes(all answers to every single quiz question is on QUIZLET, so the book is technically not required, unless you want to learn) and the other week it's one quiz and a discussion. One research paper. Blow off class. Easy A.

I took Mexican-American Politics 2311 he alternates one week a quiz from reading and the next a discussion board. Quizzes are easy, he wants you to pass, so just PARTICIPATE! you'll be fine! I only made a B because, I had to rush writing a paper (my misunderstanding on the due date) Great professor, very easy!

I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. He makes lectures really interesting. His class consists of pre-tests which are basically quizzes and then you have actual tests which he calls quizzes but as long as you do the pre-tests you'll be fine because those help a lot. You also have to type one paper but you get to choose your topic. Great class and terrific teacher!!

Mr. Guevara was my favorite professor! He has a lot of very SIMPLE work. He's hilarious with his lectures, and keeps you entertained. He allows only 4 absences, so don't skip! His reviews and the quizzes you can take at home are found on Quizlet. It's an easy A for someone who just needs this class for credit. I would take him again!! Go Spurs!

Mr. Guevara is the best professor I ever had. I took him for both Texas and Federal Government and I received an A in both classes. His classes are very easy and his quizzes and discussions are easy. He is not a hard grader at all. He is funny with his lectures, and I wish all teachers were like him.

Amazing professor! He is professional and sets you up for success. Do the reviews for the quizzes, study and you are set. Policy paper and presentation at the end, follow the grading criteria he provides and you will do just fine. Do the same for discussions. Really helps you understand things going on with the government and makes it interesting.

He was really nice, but he will call you out especially if you walk in late or have your phone out. There were a lot of lectures to the chapters that requires writing notes and each one had a review you have to do on canvas (10 questions). You DONT use the book at all. He doesn't accept late work so make sure to do all the assignments on time.

Dr. Guevara wants his students to understand our levels of government and strives to make his students more active when it comes to voting. He gives great notes in class which will help you on quizzes. Download all of his papers and use those to study. Participate in class discussions and show him that you want to be there.

Dr. G is a very good and knowledgeable professor all around. The class is pretty easy overall. Textbook isn't mandatory. Just take notes in class and use quizlet for the quizzes. He does talk about CPS Energy ALOT (he's on the board of directors for them). 1 short presentation, one 5 page policy paper to go along. 5 big discussions over big topics

Dr. Guevara was a great professor, he loves to talk a lot about himself and what he does out of Vista. He lectures a lot but its very straight forward. Does take attendances. Participation during class with each other he will pick on you too, so don't look away or look down. Study for the test everything is on the notes you will take.

Mr G is a great professor the fact that he is a board member at CPS Energy and is able to bring real world examples into his class is awesome! I highly recommend him, he is such a good guy!

I took Dr. Guevara for Maymester. If you put in the work its not hard to get an A. Keep in mind we did 16 weeks of work in 3 weeks. Not even a full two weeks because you cancelled class and let us out early occasionally. Tough grader, follow his instructions for discussion boards and you'll be fine.

Dr. Guevara was an excellent professor at an institution where most of the classes feel like high school; his course felt like an actual college course. He knew his material because he is involved in politics, so make sure you know what you're talking about in the writing assignments. I recommend buying a textbook mainly for the exam reviews.

Dr. Guevara is a tough grader, it's not just doing the work but working for it. HE is very specific in what he expects, follow the syllabus and instructions he provides. You can get an A if you work for it but do not miss a discussion post or any assignment. He will not grade according to minimum requirements, he wants more than expected.

Dr Guevara was a really good online professor. All of his chapter questions and quizzes could be found through quizlets which is a huge plus! He had about 6 discussions and a research paper for the summer online class I took. Be prepared to answer questions he didnt ask for in the discussion and research paper.

He is an excellent profesor and an amazing person. He cares about you and hes always there for his students. Lectures are long but everything is on his PowerPoints. Take him if you are ready to study and do your work. (Take all the extra credit you can)

Although I had to work for an A+, I would take Professor Guevera again. He shares all of the requirements for assignments and as long as you meet them all you will get good grades.

Dr. Guevara is super fair. The quizzes and chapter questions were easy as long as you read the chapters. You do have some discussions, but as long as you follow the criteria, you shouldn't have a hard time. I would definitely take his class again.

His classes are lecture heavy but take notes, do the test reviews, and you'll for sure do well. He tries to make class fun and relevant to his students. I would definitely recommend this professor.

I took Dr. Guevara for Federal & Texas Govt. & I highly recommend him. He is an excellent professor who really cares for his students & wants them to succeed. I took the online summer flex course and it had its challenges. The expectations of the course are clear from the beginning. As long as you do the work that is assigned, when it is due, there is no problem! What you put into your work is what you get! I would definitely take another class with this professor.

I took this class as a Fall Flex course. Professor Homer was very straightforward. Stay on course. Do the discussions, take the quizzes and you'll pass. He is a fair grader and this is coming from someone who does not like government classes. I would recommend to students who just need to take this course and pass.

Hes such an awesome and amazing professor!!! The work definitely challenges and stretches you. But hes is super nice and understanding if youre having any trouble! I 5000376/10 recommend taking him. You definitely have to apply yourself but hes an awesome teacher!!
