Class is for serious students who want to learn the HVAC field. I'm a average student & I learn more than I ever imagined. This professor loves to teach & loves the industry. He energizes the classroom & will leave you hungry for more! Very kind but very firm with the course work, if you are a slacker you won't last a week. Highly recommend.

No problem and kept interested

Prof. Salmon taught me more in this course than I have ever learn in my 6 years in the HVAC field. He goes far beyond the textbook he shows how things are done. He is a true master of his field & loves teaching. The course is intense but its fun & exciting & time flies by.

Excellent professor! Can make difficult stuff easy to understand! Extremely patient and friendly with students who care to learn. Unless you have proof that you work he takes great offense to those who show up late to class or come unprepared. Be ready to take notes. Slackers do yourself a favor avoid his class he will make your life hell!

Good teacher, sometimes clarity is a little distorted, but one on one will bring u up to speed.

Great professor! Cool dude! Fair! You will learn a lot! You will take lots of notes which you can use on test. Study is a must and he base his lectures from reading assignments so if you don't do HW you be lost in class. It is true his class is slacker free zone, if you don't put effort in he will ignore you. I highly recommend him.

Salmon is the best HVAC/R instruct or I have ever had. He knows his stuff and will not stop till he knows you have learned it 100%. This class was just plain hard but after a few weeks in the lab it all came to me. Awesome class!

A professor with passion about his profession. There is no way to pass his class if you miss class. A day you miss is like a week of information. He is very knowledgeable and willing to teach you and wants to see his students succeed. If you have a problem understanding , he will break it down Barney-style until you get it. Awesome teacher!

Professor Salmon is very intimate about what he does. He cares greatly about his students and their understanding of the material he is teaching. He is approachable both in and out of class and will listen to what u have to ask/say then answer to the best of his ability.

The most challenging physics class I have ever taken but I could not get enough. He makes you think in ways you can't even imagine. Lectures are very engaging and dynamic never a dull moment. Get ready to study hard this class is no walk in the park.

Electricty was by far the hardest thing I have learned but he breaks it down & his teaching style is clear. You need to take this class serious missing one day is like missing a week. There is a lot of advance math but the guy is a math Yoda so as long as you take notes and practice you will pass...

Hard class. You need the lectures to break down the textbook info. Guy is a hard ass but he loves to teach & he cool to deal with, he really wants you to learn. Better take notes.
