BEST professor I ever had!! He makes the material fun and interesting, and if you really want to learn something take him. His exams are difficult if you dont read the book, otherwise you'll enjoy every single class, funniest professor you'll ever have.

Very Very hard professor, want good grade take someone else. He's a nice guy but is extremely hard and I hated every minute of his class. Gotten a D and studdied my ass off. there is no curve so you are screwed.

Best prof I have learned so much even though I suspect no "A" for me. He is very brilliant, knowledgable and makes the class very interesting!! I would highly recommend him. You must read the text before class to have a great discussion which will ehance your undertanding and ultimately your grade.

Awsome funny lawyer turned professor. I really appreciate his energy, he made the class lots of fun. Because of the change of volume he keeps the class awake early in the morning. Very energetic, unreal. Not easy to get an A but if you study you will. Read the book thats the most important thing

the fact is he give hard/tricky midterms...but besides that...he is one the best professor out there...he is very funny, loud, knowledgable and energetic..he do speak very fast but he is very clear on everything..so do read your books at least 3times before the exams...and he do give curve

Well,he is a very energetic and knowlegable professor.He tries to make the class much more interesting, and you'll really get involved it. Although his test is kind of tough, he will give fair curve. umm..he was okay. Even though u jump everytime he walks in the room cause he's really loud. but one thing, he keeps you up the whole time I had a late night class w/him so that helped. very funny, very knowledgable, i recommend him only if you're a hard worker!! and good at 75question finals lol

Listen up...grab a highlighter and bring your text to class. make sure you are ALWAYS on the same page he is on in the text and highlight EVERYTHING he mentions. ignore everything else. Study hard and you'll be fine. He is an awesome teacher. Hilarious and knowledgeable. Definitely one of the best professors in BC.

He is really funny and loud but its hard to get an A in his class. need to memorize the boo. Im an A student and this class lowered my GPA. keeps you interested tho on those late hours at night when others would put you to sleep. if you are good at memorizing the book, or just need a class to stay up in take him.

One of the best teachers at Brooklyn College. He is totally engaged in his material. He is not teaching for a paycheck, he is teaching because he has passion. The guy is a lawyer and accountant, he doesn't need to teach. But his energy and love for learning and teaching is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I highly recommend him.

I really liked his class. I'm accounting major and found him really helpfull. if you take him, u got to do the work. I got an A. He makes everything realy clear. If u participate in his class daily and do your homework you will get an A. I look forward to taking him again, maybe for Accounting 40.

Excellent professor. He talks very clear but at a rather fast pace. It is important to bring a highlighter to every class to mark the textbook as he lectures. Midterm and final are departmental and are challenging. Stay on top of the homework and you'll do fine. Very open to students during his office hours.

He is the funniest man I've ever met. His classes are very interesting b/c he teaches well and very clear, but also makes funny comments along the way. I highly recommend him. Do your work, listen and you'll have a blast in his class.

this guy is insanely obnoxious (in a funny way). talks fast, keeps the material interesting. you must do the homework and pay attention in class if you want the class to feel easy. otherwise, u will struggle to catch up. departmental midterm and finals, straightforward, you will need to study though.

Clear and Concise professor, there is no babying around in his class, but do what ure supposed to do, bring your book, and ask questions during review, if u work for an A, its not that hard to get. I had the flu when I bombed his midterm, but aced the final and got an A in the class!

Ok, here's the thing with Davidoff. I took him with the expectation of doing horrible. I didn't even buy the txt book but took extensive notes in his class and ended up doing somewhat good. The guy is a genius, he knows his stuff so if you're taking the class to learn, he's the guy for you. I got a 78, a 55, and a 60 and he gave me a C+; not so bad

Awesome professor. Will keep your interest on the topic no matter how boring it may be but you will learn. Very funny at times, very loud as well, do not sit in the front. Explains all questions. 50% midterm and 50% final. No points for sucking up. Read all material and take great notes. Must memorize the whole book. GOOD LUCK!

I would not recommend this professor for Law 1 because he wants you to read the whole book and the final is cumulative. Tests are hard and very wordy. He is very loud and hates answering questions. Make you feel uncomfortable, especially @ 8 am!

You will get what you put into this class. If you are willing to put in the effort you will learn a lot and get a good grade. However, Davidoff won´t give you an A you don´t deserve. The people who complained he wants to bring your GPA down just didn´t want to do the work. You will do fine and learn a lot if you put in the effort

prof is very funny ! u will be laughing the whole time !! and it is good that he keeps us interested and awake at 8 am. However, his tests are a killer and very tricky ! look out for every word. I suggest coming to every class! And read the book ! i wouldnt recommend him if u care about ur gpa, but if u wanna learn- he is the right prof

This professor is a complete nut! His class is by far the most entertaining one I had ever taken. It is a difficult class but, only because it's accounting! It is by no means easy. If you miss even one class, you're behind so, in my opinion, attendance is crucial. Studying is pointless, you really need to understand the material or you will fail.

Great Professor! The class is hard but it is useful to you when you are in the real world, even if you aren't a business major. He relates all the textbook terms to real life situations and only goes over the important stuff. If you attend class, read and participate you should do just fine.

Great guy, very funny, very smart, does give hard test and a lot of reading, 2 midterms (30% ea.) and 1 final (40%)..JUST READ THE CHAPTERS and you will do fine, I got an A- and i read each chapter once and Re-read the definitions before exams. I dont like Bus Law but i might take Bus Law 2 with Davidoff.

People just don't try hard enough, and more than half the class was gone after the Midterm. I thought I was going to fail because I was being lazy and not studying, but ended up passing because of the final.

first of all hes not a bad prof. he jus expects students to read the textbook prior to the lecture and he jus reviews and explains the key points of the chapter. topics are not that hard but if u expect an A your best bet is to try hard..midterm final and one paper.. not that hardd

Acct3201, fully online. Discussion board and assignment to do every week. I mean it! It's not mandatory to do them, but for each week you do, it is +1 credit to your grade. One midterm and one final. Not cumulative. However, the exams are tough. Does not curve. Davidoff is brilliant and knows much about his profession. Received A- for hard work!

Professor Davidoff created the personal finance course himself in 2005 and has been teaching it since, so he is the proverbial go-to prof for personal finance. He really tells you like it is. He is tough and expects a lot of work. For those who complained, grow up! It's college. If I wasn't a senior, I would've declared acct as my major.

Great professor when it comes to teaching the class but he is pretty hard and gives assignment every week. You will read the whole book, that's for sure!!!!!If you attend his lectures, do hw's and read EVERY chapter you will do fine , good luck !

Professor Davidoff is a high quality professor, and is extremely knowledgeable. This shouldn't come as a surprise since he is a CPA, Attorney, and has authored several books! If your interested in learning you wont regret, if your looking for a pushover look elsewhere.

Prof. Davidoff is a very intelligent man. He knows a lot about the topic and makes personal finance a useful and very interesting class. You will learn a lot from his lectures. Topics were interesting especially learning about stocks.Read the book!! You will need to bring it to class too. Tests are difficult but not if you read every chapter!

He makes you think that HE knows everything and that he is super smart. You can imagine what can of ego I'm pointing out here.Many of the hard finance tools that he explains are not accurate (have fun discussing).Also, he asks for an extra text, the one that he wrote (personal finance for dummies kind of thing, that was never used).Exams are easy

Hard class. Very hard grader, u must read book 2 before the exam, in addition, there will be few questions that he never covers in class. 2midt+final. Curve is based on hw, so don't miss any, it will save u! I would still recommend him, very interesting and funny professor.

Incredible professor. Inspired me to become a certified financial planner. The tests are much easier than the lectures; he does not include the most difficult topics. Very clear and very willing to help during office hours. He gives extra credit essay and curves exams. Taking this class with him will change your perspective on your life financially

He's clear on his lectures, his exams on the other hand are a bit difficult. He only gives two exams a midterm and a final, plus a book report. If you are a great test taker than this is an easy A.

I'm not a fan of Davidoff's teaching style. He teaches somewhat, but a lot of the learning has to come from purely reading the book alone. He gives a background of what is going on, but if you're the kind of person such as myself that thrives off of simply listening to lectures and understanding, his class is not for you. Smart guy though...

Took this as a non business student. If you read the chapters assigned prior to class you will do fine. Study definitions in the book for the exam and you will get an A no problem. Only a midterm and final, and one book report (shortest book we could use was 90 pages). I learned so much from him and am more prepared for my financial future.

Davidoff is a good Professor. There are zero surprises with him! He will email the class if something is due off-schedule. But still make sure you print out the syllabus and know when a homework is due! Davidoff is always more than willing to help you understand anything you're unfamiliar with. Use his office hours, as he even encourages it!

Very energetic and well spoken. Clearly knows the subject, and knows how to teach it. Homework is nearly every week, textbook is used consistently and attendance is optional, but very recommended.

Tough grader thats for sure. The class is online with 2 exams (midterm, final) 50% each of your overall grade. Written assignments are due each day at certain time. There is also a Discussion Board panel which all must be due at a certain time. Funny guy

Davidoff knows what hes talking about, he is extremely interesting. He comes into class everyday happy and wanting to teach. He teaches with a passion. It is very pleasant to see a professor enjoy what they teach and strive for the students to learn. I can see why everyone hates him, but i would recommend taking him because he knows his stuff.

He's a great professor, I don't know what the rest of these reviews are talking about, he's a great lecturer and knows what he's talking about. Gives 2 tests and a written assignment which comes out to your total grade, and the tests aren't that bad, you just have to know the information like every other class. Learned a lot this semester from him.

If you want a class that involves minimal work and you won't know the stuff and still get an A, then THIS IS NOT THE PROFESSOR FOR YOU. If you want to learn really interesting subject matter and know it then take this class. It is interesting and Proffessor Davidoff keeps it interesting. Just a midterm and final which are all multiple choice.

Hes a very nice, energetic professor. Took his online class. Assignments due twice a week. Every assignment count as 1 point extra credit and he adds that to your midterm/final score. Midterm is 50% final is 50%. So you just have to study well for the exams. Dont miss the assignments because without them itll be very tough to get a good grade.

Graded on midterm, final, bookreview, if HW was submitted on time, and attendance. Respectful, professional, gentleman, answers emails promptly. Expect to read the textbook if you want a good grade. Tests are fair. First half of the semester there are some online classes which means an assignment is due by email instead of in person lecture.

Professor Davidoff was such an amazing professor. Each and every lesson is super clear and it goes at a great pace. If you pay attention, his class will be a breeze. Many. of the things he taught, I feel as though I will remember for life. 100% recommend everyone to take Davidoff at least once, he is a funny guy.

This class was asynchronous. You are graded by 2 exams which are both multiple choice and homework/discussion board. For each assignment, you usually have to read 1 ch and watch the videos he posts. Overall, try your best and don't cheat during his exams and you will do well.
