Dr. Miles is probably my favorite professor I have had at UCF. You'll have to memorize an incredible amount of information, so if you don't want to put in the time, don't take this class...or go to med school, for that matter. If you do the work, he will help you succeed. Got a 68/70 on the ACS exam with very little extra studying because of Miles.

Ok so here is the thing about Miles, he will tell you everything that is on the test. 4 tests and a final to replace your lowest grade. He also gives easy homework quizes which are added onto your test grade. I believe anything above a B is VERY achieveable, as long as you put in ALOT of work...no one should expect organic to be an "easy A."

Dr. Miles is my favorite teacher I've had since I've been at UCF. He's a sweet man who cares about his students. Like other students stated, don't expect this class to be an "easy A", because it's not. Studying for his class is not rocket science; do what he tells you to and you will get an A. He asks a lot of you, but it's rewarding in the end.

The thing with orgo is you can't just memorize, you need to practice problems after problems after problems. Miles is an amazing professor. He has 4 Exams, and a final which will replace your lowest test grade. He has weekly quizzes, which come straight from the homework. A B is achievable, but with hard work and dedication, so is an A.

I have a high B at the moment and I've put a LOT of time into studying the textbook to maintain that. I feel like there are questions on the test to trick you or that are overly complicated. I know the material like an A student would, yet it seems impossible to get A's on the tests.
